Made reservation for honeymoon, staff asked why we were visiting the hotel. Explained it was for honeymoon, and they did free upgrade to penthouse suite. Worth every penny, best place in town

This is a fantastic hotel with great service that's built into an 1890 arcade - Mall model left the arcade in Milano it's a beautiful old building and just a spectacular hotel to stay in downtown Cleveland. Close to everything great business hotel great people I only drawback was that the elevators were slow

A spontaneous trip took me to this hotel and I couldn't have been happier. Walking into the arcade I was greeted with the most lovely sounds of a band fine tuning their instruments and giving a preview of what was to come. I instantly wanted to just "slow down" and enjoy the sights in front of me and the sound of the band. It was like the stress was melting away already. I continued to take my time and paruse the store windows until I finally made my way to the other end to check in. The receptionists were friendly and eager to help my stay be a smooth one.
Making my way to my room brought me upon beautiful old staircases. My room was very clean and modern. Up to date bathroom and all of your ammenaties that you require, including a mini fridge. I typically judge a room by the bathroom. That is where you notice how well kept a place it. And this bathroom was very clean with it not requiring any maintenance work. (No broken tiles, trim or dirt build up in the corners, ect.)
I didn't have a view in this room, just the backside of buildings but I wasn't bothered by any outside noises and hadn't plan on looking out the windows while in Cleveland ;)
Overall, I will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others.

The venue the hotel itself is in is very nice and the rooms are OK. The issue is that people walk through the venue at all times of the night, and there is absolutely no soundproofing. For our stay there were drunk guests just yelling to one another for over an hour (between 10:30 and 11:30), during which time we called the front desk twice to no avail. Even when guests are having a regular conversation it carries across the venue, making it impossible to drone out. Ultimately it s just a poor design for a hotel, and needs to be addressed for rooms facing the arcade itself.

Due to COVID, the downtown area was a complete ghost town. There was no valet attendant and we had to park in a nearby garage which charged $25 for the night. Felt a little unsafe having to walk with all our luggage to reach the hotel. We arrived at 10pm and we weren t even able to grab dinner, anywhere! No ammenties were offered for such a pricey hotel and all restaurants including take out, were closed. Besides that, our room felt and looked like it wasn t used in over 3 months. Very dusty so we had to clean and we even decided to change the bed sheets to feel more comfortable staying. We are Hyatt members and stay often in Hyatt. Keep this in mind if you are planning to stay here anytime soon.

Edit: I have updated my rating to 4 stars. The hotel handled the incident very professional and took action to address the situation post checkout. I wouldn t hesitate to stay at his hotel again, I just would want to make sure I am not staying there when the train is under constructions, and/or on the 8th floor.

Two stars in two words: Shaking Rooms.

The Hyatt is in a very central location in downtown Cleveland. The lobby is beautiful in the old Arcade and the service is professional and friendly.

The bed is comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, and even a decent view.

So why the 2 stars?

The room on the 8th floor literally shakes every 5 minutes. I went down to the front desk tonight to ask if I can switch rooms, and advised them about the room shaking. They said there completely sold out, but they were not surprised on the shaking.

Apparently the Cleveland RTA is working on the rail tracks, and over some weekends, the track right under the hotel is used for trains. And the rooms on the higher floors, shake every time a train goes under.

I do wish they would have a notice of some sorts on the website, or if they wouldn t sell the affected rooms during those weekends.

It has made for a very uncomfortable stay in what otherwise is a pretty decent hotel.

Service was great, but the location is the best part for me. Went for a Cavs game, the walk is under 5 minutes. Between the hotel and stadium you will find some pretty awesome restaurants and bars too. I will 100% come again.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous. The resturant and lounge inside of the hotel are also very nice. The only issue was with the cable service in the room half of the channels didn't work.

Room was very nice with and a beautiful hotel in general. However, hidden fees not discussed during reservation popped up on final bill. Also did not disclose security with holdings at check in. All and all, a nice trip with some minor inconveniences.

My best friend and I were there for a wedding. Thankfully we checked in early because when we got to our room and opened the door, there was a guy in our room. Luckily he was wearing clothes but he was just as confused as we were. When the wedding was over, we went back to the right room they finally gave us and they had a bottle of wine and apology letter for us. Don t get me wrong, it was a nice gesture but we had just come from an open bar wedding at the Arcade so the bottle went untouched and we took it home. Then, Sunday morning we had an event to be at so we ordered our breakfast an hour in advance. When they delivered it, my friends order was completely wrong but the receipt attached to the bag had exactly what she ordered on it. We ended up missing our event that day. I ve stayed here before three years ago and I m not sure what was going on, but I won t be back. I was expecting at least a partial room credit when we were given the wrong room but that didn t happen.

A stay at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland Arcade is a very unique experience. You are staying in actual old shops as the Arcade was an indoor shopping mall back in the day. Very friendly staff. Really large rooms and right in the heart of downtown Cleveland.

The room was clean and had a nice view. The bed was definitely cozy! The reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because, they don't offer a free breakfast and also, the arcade was closed for two different events one that night and one the morning before so my husband and I couldn't even see it.

This is my favorite place to be in Ohio & I only stay here when in Cleveland. It is absolutely stunning & so romantic. 5-star service as always from the hospitality staff at The Hyatt. The location is smack in the middle of downtown & easy to access all the restaurants & bars in walking distance. The rooms are nothing short of perfection. I don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable hotel bed. And the pillows, I just wanted to take them home with me. The linens are SUPER soft & they have thick, absorbent bath towels. The restaurant inside the hotel is delicious. Try the Filet Mignon, you won't regret it. My husband & I also got married here in April & it was like being in a fairy tale wedding. Truly a magical experience. I just can not say enough about how genuinely friendly & courteous all the staff is. Management should be very proud to have quality employees who make their guests feel right at home. Do yourself a favor & become a World of Hyatt member so you get comps at check-in & get a noon check out instead of 11am. Also, skip the valet & self park at the parking garage right next door. You'll save yourself time & money if you self park, trust me. The lines in valet to get your vehicle are a bit ridiculous. Thank you, Cleveland Hyatt, until next time.

This is one of the top destinations for photographers to visit and stay. If you rent a room a the hotel, you are able to film within the Cleveland Arcade, a mall like area with beautiful architecture. This has become one of my top destinations to do photoshoots in the Cleveland area and is a staple point to the downtown Cleveland Scene. Directly across the street is the House of Blues and Zocalo, both destinations that are always happening. If you are visiting Cleveland, be sure to give this destination a look-see.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency for a 3-day business conference. The rooms for both the conference and stay were absolutely perfect. We were served breakfast and lunch in our conference room and the food was great! The staff was always welcoming and pleasant, I have no complaints at all! Do know that parking is next to the hotel but it is not associated with the hotel.

It was great to be in a grand old building. The brass, marble, archways and all were gorgeous. Yet the rooms were updated and comfortable. What a great blend of trendy style in the rooms and historical look to the Maine area of the hotel. It was my first time in downtown Cleveland in a few years and there's a lot more going on now then back a few years ago. Lots of great restaurants and bars to choose from all right outside the hotel along with a casino.

Attended a wedding at the arcade the venue and the food were awesome outside of the echo that came from the music and we couldn't really understand anything they were saying, but it was an overall great event.

We recently stay at this hotel looked good however the room cleaning was done very late close to the limit 5 pm We also use to have courtesy water from other even less expensive hotels coffee included, but after the 4th day we took a close look at the paper hanging in the bottles of water and in very small letters with ink that blends beautiful printed in the paper says $4 WOW, hidden fees. Our fault, also the internet is free, they promises higher speed for extra $5 but after testing the speed with Speedtest by Ookla the speed was the same. Watch it . won't be back

Hotel is beautiful

Hotel is beautiful
and location is great. The problem is when they have events/weddings in the arcade space as it s all open next to the hotel rooms. Very loud and we weren t informed until check-in that there was a wedding and it might be loud.

Very nice hotel. Everyone was very welcoming. The room itself is comfortable and great views. Also the interior of the hotel is great. Its location is right in the mix as well. One downside is that the hotel feels a bit underutilized inside with a lack of shops, but the quiet beauty is still there.

Gorgeous hotel. I highly recommend it. They were doing work on one of the towers and we complained about noise, they upgraded our room and brought us wine. Amazing amazing service and staff. The pizza place inside is also AMAZING!

The Arcade itself is beautiful and classic. Everyone I encountered from the staff was pleasant and offered good customer service. Location wise, whichever entrance you come in you'll be near restaurants and stores in walking distance on the street. If you feel like walking further it takes about 15 to 20 mins to get to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The arcade itself has great restaurants too....Pizza 216, Cathy's (ice cream shop) and Rising Star Coffee shop. As far as the room, mine was fairly large, had nice big windows and overall it was very quiet. I was there for 5 nights and I loved it.

Spent a lovely holiday here. Felt very comfortable, especially considering the pandemic and 8" of snow we got overnight. One of the most architecturally stunning building interiors you'll find in Cleveland.
