Stayed here for one night to attend a wedding in Cambridge. The facilities were very nice and I was impressed with the number of things there are to do and the quality of the room. Will certainly go back.

Guest rooms fall short on the details. Towels/wash cloths sparse. Alarm set for waking you up at 4 am. TV channel guide out of date. Main entry light is a fluorescent bulb that flashes like a welding stick. One bathrobe for a two occupant room. Table lamps that are built for 3 way bulbs that have single wattage bulbs. "Balconies" are as wide as the sliding glass door and stick out about a foot and a half. Non-valet parking is about 200 yards from the main entrance. It was difficult to distinguish the valets from skateboarders at the main entrance.

The resort is now getting on in years (18 at this count) but seems to be ageing gracefully - the bars and restaurants can be almost ghost-like in the wintertime, but are chock full in the summer as people flood to Ocean City and the beaches, or are playing golf at the attached course. The food in the restaurants are quite good, and there is an outdoor fireplace that is nice in wintertime. The rooms are pretty normal Hyatt quality, and some have water views - but not all by any means. Don't count on getting those views unless you upgrade or pay more in high-season. For PILOTS: You can land at CGE and get a taxi (or more likely an UBER/LYFT) to get to the resort, it is not a walk-able distance. The airport is the municipal field, and is very nice with a small restaurant and great service.

Stayed here this past weekend with my family. Everything was extremely nice. Beautiful resort, you will feel like you are on a tropical island!! Jose, our bell hop, was EXCELLENT! Upon helping us with our bags, he told us places to eat around town as well as everything the Hyatt had to offer (lots of activities durning the day and night). One thing to keep in mind, the rooms do not have microwaves and it's 50 dollars a night to rent one. Rates were $399 a night, but I believe this was due to the time of year.

Great property. Nice to know their is a real resort close to DC. The staff were very pleasant. Just have to know COVID is in effect and masks are required. Many services are limited as well for the time being.

Beautiful property and great for an off season getaway. They have a great staff and the bar in the library is our favorite when we come. It s a short drive from the sleepy town of Cambridge. Check them out on and off season, you won t be disappointed.

There's nothing better than arriving to holiday at a lovely, quiet, "salt marsh" vacation resort and spa. Yes, there is the "Hyatt Touch," and it's on display here, be it summer, fall or winter. One would think we were Hyatt corporate VIPs the way we are greeted and treated. We enjoy recognition and privacy. The resort offers activities from reading, cycling, swimming, golf, tennis, touring, internet browsing. F & B, especially the seafood, and special requests, are top notch. There's also provision for fairly priced family meals. Parking is included. The grounds are beautiful and private. One could imagine a famous author taking up residence here to find peaceful solace, but good food and service when he wanted it. Don't forget, you're in the middle of crab country, too! Great crab places are nearby. When the staff treats you with such grace, you know it must come from the top down. Congratulations on a well run vacation resort.

We had our bi-annual couples retreat here this year. The resort is awesome! So much to do. The staff are great, helpful and very friendly. The restaurants on site are wonderful. I took a star away because 1.the conference food was terrible. 2. The conference was overpriced. They have a cool app for the conference where you can let the staff know what is needed. I loved that! I just felt nickled and dimed for EVERYTHING. That being said, well probably return. We'll just get food from the restaurants not the resort's caterers. BTW, I'm a caterer.

Overall was ok. Nor very large or tadty choice of food on the buffet, salmon was great. The sound was way too loud, considering that it was a social event, not a nighy club visit. and people were trying to talk to each other. Plus was scaring small children.
Overall, hotel looks clean and even fancy

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Chesapeake Bay over 4th of July weekend and had a great time. We had a Chesapeake suite during our stay and it was an awesome experience. The hotel is well taken care of and was much nicer than we expected, the outdoor pool was the highlight. The staff did a great job making us feel safe while we were there, if you are looking for a resort getaway on the east coast within driving distance this is the place!

Service is amazing! They are clean and organized with respect to the rooms but also with respect to items left behind after an event. Their staff were prompt at identifying loose items from a wedding the night before and very helpful to help is transport it.

Pretty decent place to just get away. I love the property and the rooms/decor are up to date. This place has much potential though on the little things. I went on a girls vacation/get away from home, but still work trip. Working by the pool was great, but I really wish there was pool service. I felt very out of place walking to and from the one bar in lobby of the hotel just in my bathing suit and towel in order to get drinks. I also understand that with Covid, things are very limited, but more food options are a must. Especially from a resort. Also, the bar needs a better selection of bourbon/wine. In terms of working while next to the pool, it was very peaceful, but there are next to no power outlets on the pool deck. I will say, I am LOVING the new hot tub and the bartenders were very nice. Couldn't complain at all about the mojitos, though an option to get a pitcher would be nice since we couldn't get table service on the pool deck. Overall, great little getaway, but there are a good amount of small service related things that need improvement.

We stayed overnight at the marina on a 54' Searay, but paid for use of hotel facilities. The restaurants were better than expected, there's a Starbucks in the gift shop on the main level, and the staff were always accommodating.

I love it here. I came for my bday to get a relaxed getaway. It's family friendly and allows pets so expect a lot of children and barking dogs if your going anytime around breaks, i.e, Spring break.

This place is great. There is so much to do, and it has a very casual vibe for a higher end resort. The views of the Choptank River are great, and service is top notch. Most of the young people they employ as lifeguards are great with the little kids and make the experience special for them.

Beautiful location, room was pretty but it was hard to get front desk/maintenance up to fix the room issues (ie sticky floor, broken ceiling fan) room was not ready at check in time so put bags in storage. Layout of hotel is confusing map came in handy. Restaurants and bar was great delicious food!

Really enjoyed this place. Multiple pool options and a small beach front with kayaks and paddle boats to rent. They're apparently building a kiddie pool for the 2020 season. Live entertainment at the bar was awesome, as were the options for smores at the fire pits. Mini golf and playground on site.

We had an excellent time at this resort. All the staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The food was great. The pools were great and clean. The room was great and clean. And the views are amazing. Highly recommend this resort and we look forward to coming back.

The hotel itself is very spacious with lots of little areas to sit and hangout. The grounds are spacious as well. There are two major outdoor pools and one indoor pool. The first outdoor pool has some in water seating, perfect for lounging with a drink. This pool has a rope divider, one side for adults and the other for all. The second pool is more of the kid pool with lot's of floaty's, water sprinklers, and a large water slide. The last pool is all indoors with a near-by indoor-outdoor hot tub. Lot's of daily activities for the kids in and around the pool area. Full wait staff by the pool, great little outdoor bar that played great reggae music (during Labor Day weekend at least). On water activities are available for pretty reasonable rates, anything from kayaks to boats. Lot's of food options, although being keto (no carbs) it was pretty hard to eat lunch most days (lot's of cobb salads and crab). Only 2 hours from the Philadelphia area from which we came, so it was a nice departure from our typical Jersey shore weekends.

Love coming here but a couple of things need to improve 1. Movie night at pool sound is awful and video cuts in and out. 2. Life guards at least some of them need to pay attention and stop chatting with each other while on duty 3. Beds needs comforters they only have sheets? 4. Need better food menu here not enough to choose from and cant by smores at night cause the store is closed that doesn't make sense people eat smores at night right? Other than those issues a great location on Chesapeake rooms are ok , staff is friendly and the food is ok.

Even during the brutally cold New Year's weekend the Hyatt Chesapeake has plenty of indoor activities to please families, or non- families! It's a great place. We have been there many times, and will return.
