Great setting. Beautiful grounds. Would definitely go back.

I expected the hotel to be cleaner. Ended up leaving early because of it. It is a shame since it is a beautiful property. Needs some maintenance like pressure cleaning the buildings.

Family friendly overnight getaway. Also good for conferences.

Nice location and room. Awesful service. Had to book two night minimum for race. Food was poor. Zero late check out availability even though it was Monday and we had three rooms. Pool bar and restaurant were closed Monday so you had to go back to your room and order room service . Main restaurant had no air conditioning . Front desk staff was surly . This place should not charge more than $250-300 a night. Rooms are small and it's just not up to the level of a $4-550 a night place. Would not come here again if it weren't for race.

The resort is very nice, the food was good, the rooms are clean and comfortable and it is a good venue for our group's event. There was a slight mix-up with a few people being given keys to the wrong rooms, but it was quickly sorted out.

Can't wait to go there again! Best relaxing, cute and family friendly place ever. Please don't miss the experience of making SMOORS!!!!

We met up with a couple of friends staying at the Hyatt. The grounds were beautiful and appeared clean. There was a game room which had ping pong, shuffle board, foosball, and a couple of other video game machines. We stopped in at the little gift shop for coffee and ice cream (which were both great) while waiting for our dinner reservation. At dinner all of the food was pretty tasty and the staff were friendly.

Beautiful water views, fun pools, delicious food and cocktails makes this a great destination. I have to give thanks to my in-laws for bringing us here the past few years. Spent my parents 41st anniversary here making this resort a special place for me.

Significantly degraded service over the last 10 years. Not sure we'll want to continue staying there in the future.

Beautiful location and good for families and those who like busy resorts. Food is edible but uninspiring. Walls are super thin so I needed to use earplugs. Staff are pleasant and hard working.

This place was amazing. We had an excellent one night away and thoroughly enjoyed our stay including the activities pool. All the staff very friendly. Only a couple reasons it's not the 5 stars from me - couple dings and what not in the tub and the lifeguards didn't really seem that attentive. Highly recommend it though and we will be back!

The resort itself was very nice. I had a couple of appointments at the Spago Spa. My massage was 5 mins cut short which was a bit disappointing since the prices are on the pricier end. However, the massage itself was wonderful I just wish I got the full time that I had paid for just like my pedicure. My pedicure was soothing, relaxing, and wonderful for the exact 45 minute duration. I would probably consider coming back if I knew my massage time would be for the full time being paid for.

Our room was over an hour late for check-in. My wife is 8 months pregnant and needed somewhere to lie down, so we ended up out at the pool waiting for our room to be ready. When we finally checked in, our toilet was clogged and wasn't working. We asked them to fix it over the weekend, and they never did, so we had to use the toilets by the bar all weekend. Terrible experience.

Very nice Hotel, my husband and I would recommend! The food at Water Edge grill restaurant was delicious. The staff where very nice. We enjoyed our stay there!

Awesome resort! The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. When my key card wouldn't work, the attendant left the line of people and personally came with me to ensure that the new card worked. They even provided a way to use their app to open my door and control the TV. They brought up complementary deodorant when the natural product I brought didn't work. We even got complementary water bottles daily and refills of soaps, lotions, and Tazo teas. The gym was well-equipped and had what was needed to keep exercise routines current. The campus was awesome and relaxing and the outdoor fireplace came in handy with the marshmallows and Graham cracker creations we made. I'll remember to bring my golf clubs next time! The greens looked great!

Beautiful grounds. With covid, only certain restaurants were open, and the food was just ok.

Company Meeting Venue, but I'm definitely going to check it out again on my own. The place was BEAUTIFUL!

Attended the resort for a business conference, the faculties were very nice, although the room separator walls were nothing special. Parking the first day was extremely difficult, with numerous cars driving around the lot waiting for someone to leave. I can't comment on other offerings at the resort.

I did not stay in the hotel but I attended a wedding and reception at this resort. It was beautiful and the staff were very accommodating! I will definitely recommend and revisit when in the area!

I attended a wedding here, it is a beautiful venue with a lot of thing to do for both adults and children outside of the event. Boat rentals, 3 pools and a giant hot tub that goes indoors and out. Very accomadating hotel start and a friendly atmosphere all around.

Went for lunch, beautiful atmosphere and food was very good.

Love this hotel. Wonderful views, nice rooms, great service and yummy food. Spend the weekend. Relax. Try some of the local restaurants. Get recommendations at the hotel.

My reservation was changed and they measured a room without a bed, incredible; I do not want another because I had traveled a lot

So beautiful! Great views, comfortable rooms. The area has a lot of history! Make sure to download the app and map for the life and history of Harriet Tubman.

Rooms were nice. Due to a lack of proper supervision the hot tub was shut down repeatedly while in use. Wait service at bar was poor and slow. Restaurants on site were nice.

Very clean and professional service from all staff members. Welcoming from the time I entered the building till I left.

We have spent 2 Christmases and a mini vacation here. Amazing staff and nice food options. The water is not anything beach like or even worth swimming in but the hotel and property are great. Golf courses seem nice.

It's amazing from the room to the 3 pools and with the arcade and game room including a spa it's a great place for parents and kids

Nice place overall .... but lacking warmth/greetings/overall friendliness.

The location right on the Choptank River can not be beat. On a warm sunny day walk out to either piers for a peaceful moment and great photos. The view from my room, 3424, looked out over two fountains and the golf course.

The walls were VERY thin. I could hear absolutely every word and movement my neighbor made.

The food at the Grille was tasty. Complements to the chef. I enjoyed a bowl of cream of crab soup with tons of lump crab at the bottom and a super deliciously cheesy bowl of Boursin Mac and Cheese - rich and delish!

Gym was nice, clean and well kept machines. Game room onsite for kids as well as indoor/outdoor pools, miniature golf, and other recreation courts.

I also used the market shop to get some coffee. I was sad that they weren't an official Starbucks dealer so that I could use my Starbucks card but not stars deducted because of that.

Although I slept through the night, my bed wasn't the most comfortable of beds. I could hear and feel the springs when I sat on either beds. The iPhone alarm clock and charger is a nice modern touch to rooms.

The coffee machine was also nice to have though very basic.

The bathroom was clean and offered the basics: exfoliating soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion.

Front desk staff didn't go above and beyond in friendliness so that was also on the disappointing side. The guys who were assisting with bags and valet were much more amiable and welcoming.

We love this place. Me and my family has been going here every year. Its my favorite family tradition

It's lovely! We celebrated our 30th Anniversary there. It's big and not crowded and many things to do. Blackwater and Harriet Tubman's museum and homestead are nearby. So much history and beauty. I had a pedicure and am now relaxing, reading and writing.... Next stay, hopefully we'll try the Summer to swim in the infinity pool.... Thank you all... Dianne especially!!!

Love this place! I visit here every summer with my family and there is so much to do. It is pet friendly and has everything imaginable for kids.

The best place to play some golf and get some rest!

This past spring, we had the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay host an event for our contracting company. We called Hannah from their sales department and she recommended us to utilize the Eagles Nest at the River Marsh Golf Club. Hanna was extremely helpful in providing us not only several food options but ways to make our event more impactful for our guests and clients. She also put us in touch with Abby, Allison, and Max to cater to the entertainment side of things which ended up being a huge success. Who would have thought you could add cornhole and a putting contest for all our guests/clients in attendance?? If you're thinking of hosting an event, large or small, I would highly recommend using their multiple facilities. Their attention to detail and customer service did not go unnoticed. They went above and beyond to ensure the success of our event and gave us the peace of mind that no stone was left unturned. Thank you Hyatt!
