Just there for a work meeting and food. Food was good.
Had a very nice stay. The view from the balcony was amazing especially at night. The room was nice and clean and the perfect size for a weekend in Boston. Only had on request during the stay and it was taken care or immediately. Parking in very convenient and easy. Will definitely stay again.
The hotel is decent but parking is $40 per day. The restaurant is good but overpriced even for a hotel. The location is great. The rooms is good. This is a good business hotel but I wouldn't stay here on personal travel.
Have stayed here several times before. Older hotel but still nice. This time I stayed for the 4th of July for the Boston Pops. Was able to watch fireworks from our balcony room. Only disappointment was the dinner service. It suffered from long delays and pacing issues. The details of which will be added to the zephyr restaurant review. Will still recommend and stay again in the future.
Nice hotel for the price but customer service was lacking and late check in times are a pain.
View was good, room was worth the price, right next to MIT campus so good to stay at for any business there
It has good, if not exceptional, amenities and pleasant staff.
The mark of a great hotel is if there is a hiccup, the hotel makes it right. The place was packed when we arrived after a delayed flight, and there was a problem with our room. Once aware of the problem, they let us sleep but made arrangements to move to an upgrade and transferred our luggage for us while we were out getting breakfast.
Everyone we've met thus far have worked to make this a great trip
Thanks Y'all!
Very poor service . Not free parking like they said Paid $304.10 a night different when booked $285.00 a night , double charged on credit card , never ever stay with Hyatt again in my life make sure people I know not doing business with Hyatt hotel also.
It's at a nice location. Rooms are really good and comfy but could have made shower little more spacious.
Great view and the room is clean, spacious and great also.
Views of the Charles river and the city of Boston. Near MIT.
Very nice hotel, nice room, good view. Stayed one night
Great clean room and friendly staff... I'd recommend a river view.
Nice room. Good housekeeping staff. My food at Zephyr however... was told a 20 minute wait for soup salad and wings but after an hour passed called the restaurant. They told me it had come up only ten minutes before I called. ?? Thankfully, they comped the meal.
Staff were very nice. Clean rooms. Food good, little pricey. Shower too small, husband 6'2. Pillows not our choice very soft, no support. Convenient location.
My family and I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was immaculate and since it was Halloween the hotel had pumpkin carving contest and guests were the judges. My only minor complaint is that on the website information about their pool was down, so I want aware that the pool was actually in a fitness center. I didn't want to bring my 2 year old in there and potentially disturb guest committed to working out.
Currently here right now. Manager was unreasonable. Never staying again unfornuately
I was there for a work conference and was very impressed with the decor and service.
Conveniently located hotel with nice views over Cambridge and Boston. A bit older on the inside but it is being updated. Room was pretty good with a comfy bed, ample space, and big TV. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices and like the lunch provided at the conference, a lot of gluten free options. The fitness facilities are great with the highlight being a full 25 yd pool that is suitable for lap swimming. Parking is very expensive. Night life in the bar restaurant is pretty tame. Looking forward to the upgrades coming in 2019. Would stay again.
Manager Kevin Walker was extremely attentive to our group! We spent a lot of time in the bar/lounge and Werk waited on us several times and was wonderful. All the staff were professional and helpful with recommendations for this group from Dallas and Williamsburg. Will stay here every time I visit my daughter at BU!
Located between MIT bridge and BU bridge. 15min walk to T station. Not much around the area. There's an easily accessible park lot connected to the hotel. It's 40$ for 24hrs. I wouldn't suggest street parking, Boston has residential only stickers for parking in certain areas. Nothing to really eat right next to the hotel but you get an amazing walk down the edge of Charles river.
Clean room. Friendly staff. Beautiful structure. River view room was breathtaking as we watched the crew teams practicing and a sail boat regatta event.
Outdated. Rooms not sound isolated. Balcony windows leaky and moldy. Smelly room. Major structural renovation needed, they updated the furniture which is a start, but by far not sufficient for a proper update. Prices not adequate.
Hotel was fine, but way overpriced for the quality. Possibly that's just the Boston market, but I travel to NYC frequently and the price/quality ratio was bad even by those standards. And the $40/night self parking fee is crazy. They should note that when booking. (I booked through their website, not a third party site.). Overall I would not recommend.
Came here for a tour for our wedding and we loved the location and views it has available from the top floors. Definitely an option for us moving forward
Great location, and a very friendly, helpful staff. That goes a long way to helping me ignore the fact that it's a bit dated and maybe in need of a facelift
Pretty nice hotel, great location. Fair market prices
Housekeeping slow. Check in took hours to get rooms. Staff was helpful but seemed lost.
Nice, upper class hotel over looking the Charles River. Great views of the city
Hotel looks a little dated on the exterior but is very modern and nice on the inside. Nice staff. Extremely overpriced breakfast. Parking is $40/night
Great location, nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
Great place to stay in Boston. Close to all just an Uber away
The Hyatt Regency is an excellent place to stay in Boston/Cambridge. The room booked was wonderfully well sized and themed, beds clean and kept well. The room service did a great job cleaning and tidying up my room between days, the room included free coffee and tea with a coffee-maker and a minifridge as well as a hdtv. Staff were very polite and accommodating, and pricing wasn't too bad. I would happily stay here again.
This Hotel is nice. The main aspect of this hotel is view of charles river from it.
Decent hotel. The rooms with balcony and views are nice.
Hyatt Regency Cambridge was a wonderful surprising stop as we hunted for a hotel in this lovely area
Physical appearance is nice. Location is inconvenient since its nowhere near anything except the Boston River - Staffs except for the ones in their restau have attitudes! I asked one of the front desk staff (female) about availability of transfers for our group and she said they only had the shuttle.. when I asked about taxis-- she asked me if I can see any taxis around.. it was night time so I believed her.. It was a relief when I saw outside my window taxis queud up.. Toilet is not cleaned enough.. looks like they just sometimes replace towels. Hair strands are still there after the room was supposed to cleaned.
Attended a professional event, the food provided was surprisingly good and the staff was very courteous. The setup worked well, audio and video had no issues. They did a great job of hosting!
Great location for a wedding venue. Their Zephyr restaurant also had pretty great food.
We got a deal on a room here, and it was really great! The location wasn t the best for what we went there for, but that was my bad for planning poorly. Very close to the university. Real nice beds.
Nice hotel. Good location. Little wear and tear though.
The place was good for hosting a 50 people social event
Good service. Nice view from the windows. Perfect location. Clean and quiet.
Across the Charles river.... beautiful architecture. Not far from many places in Boston like financial center, Copley square, Boston common and many more.
Decent enough hotel, small. Alcohol rule is kinda silly.
Pretty good hotel, in terms of rooms and facilities. However, paid extra for riverview room, and they changed it without telling us, and without changing the price. Only after negotiation did they decide to refund the extra price.
Meets all of my check marks on needs. Except after leaving my room they left the door wide open for anyone to walk in.
I made a reservation, not knowing that this hotel was not in downtown Boston. First time visiting Boston, when I realized my mistake, literally 1 hr later, they said they had to charge me $216 for canceling. I tried to explain my situation and they were not understanding at all. I tried calling them several times and they kept putting me on hold. As a business owner myself, I believe we should be a bit more understanding when dealing with customers. After customer service is what it should all be about.
A Google reviewer said she got bedbug bites here, confirmed by a doctor. I asked Priceline if I could cancel my reservation. Priceline said they'd ask the Hyatt. HRC "escalated" for over a week, then said no cancellation and asserted, like every hotel rumored to have bedbugs, that they have no bedbugs.
Somehow the review on Google noting the lady's allegedly doctor-confirmed bedbug bites is now gone.
The truth is elusive. But if the Hyatt really doesn't have bedbugs scaring away guests, you'd think they could have cancelled my reservation two weeks in advance and re-let the room.
I attended a corporate event here. It was very well organized and the services were top notch.
My son had an excellent experience while attending a classmates coming of age reception.
My visit was filled with pleasant safe that made sure I had all the information I needed for my safe and a room that was peaceful and quite. The restaurant was delicious! Both the room and the restaurant have a stunning view of the water!
Location is great, good for corporate travel, bring your own water if u are paying for the stay, food trucks close by are a good option
Hotel is nice but they charge for everything including parking.
It was nice and the room was nice however the building was not the nicest and the view wasn't great especially for the price
Dated hotel with a good gym and nice views of the Charles River
Well I got a nice view of a roof. No complimentary breakfast. No channel guide. Didn't seem as nice as a hyatt should.
Very nice hotel but not a lot of attention given to detail. The taps felt very loose with some leaking. Also the restroom door wouldn't lock. No breakfast with my room.
Good location, friendly, professional staff intent on making your stay successful. Restaurant and bar are also great, even with a few vegetarian/vegan options.
A great hotel over looking the Charles River. Great big room and nice views from all the rooms.
Visually pleasing architecture. Very modern. Attentive to customer needs.
Very nice hotel. All of the staff was pleasant and helpful. The shuttle does not take you into Boston, but you can get to the red line using the shuttle to get into Boston. Safe area, wasn't afraid to walk around. Only an Olympic size pool to swim laps, probably not great for families or kids.
Pretty decent. You can tell it is an older place. Nice view though.
I was here for a work conference and enjoyed how kind and clean the hotel was.
My dad and mom stayed here for there anniversary and the Hot wings and Burgers were great . Our room lady was quick with food and housekeeping was quick with extra towels, blankets, toothpaste, even a toothbrush. When you get to the lobby and look up , now thats a view and the glass elevators racing each other up is a nice view. we had the view of the river with the boston skyline . Queen bed with terrance . Very Nice Stay . Room was a little boring but clean and comfortable .
Arrived in Boston around midnight with 6 students due to a fight being rerouted. After calling several hotels I reached Jenna at the front desk and explained the situation. She was kind and responsive and have me a discounted rate as the airline was not giving us hotel vouchers. Upon arrival at 1230 am Jesus was amazingly patient and helpful. Got us into rooms close together in the same floor quickly and professionally. He also helped order the kids pizza before we even had room numbers so we would get it sooner and came up with the delivery man to make sure we were all ok. Staff went above and beyond.
Two of the rooms were ADA and huge! Everything was very clean and neat. Best of all, they were quiet so everyone was able to sleep in without "hotel noise" waking them up.
Everyone the next morning was just as wonderful. The dining staff gave us an area of our own to eat in. Frank, at he front desk, helped me set up a tour for my students and let us store our luggage at the hotel and Paul, the shuttle driver was a font of information an amusement while riding to catch our tour.
This is typical of the wonderful Hyatt Regency chain. The work out room had well maintained machines and was clean. The pool is excellent. My 1 complaint was the breakfast buffet wasn't as good as other Hyatt's I've been to. The omelette chef was excellent but there were fruit flies buzzing around.
Clean rooms, friendly customer service. Stayed in better, stayed in worse. 3/5 would room again.
