I didn't experience much because I was literally only delivering food, but it seemed really well managed and this locations entrance landscape and interior design were beautifully crafted

Great location, friendly staff, the rooms could use updating. The pool was setup for laps...2 people swimming. And all families crammed into one lane, which was odd. Breakfast buffet was solid, great options.

No hot tub. Not even a complimentary coffee bar in the morning. Poor communication and hit - or - miss room service. For a $300 a night place, it feels like a $150 a night experience that is just trying its best. I'd rather a Hyatt expierence all things considered, and this hotel isn't it . The free shuttle to Kendall Square is its saving grace.

10 years ago today my wife and I were married here. The ceremony tent was beautiful, the food was fantastic, the rooms and the reception hall were all great and the staff was wonderful.
We liked it enough that we like to go back for diner now and then.

Contacted the hotel staff when we booked. We specifically asked if we needed an authentication form because we were using a work credit card. They assured us we didn't need it because we booked online. I get to the hotel and can't check in because they need the authentication form. I had to wait in the lobby for 2 hours because they would only accept the form via fax and my office got rid of fax machines years ago. The poor girl who handled my booking had to run around town after hours to find a place to send the fax. When we sent the fax it wouldn't go through because their machine was busy or something. I got in my room eventually, but I am not a happy customer.

Smell in the room. The room with the terrace and view on the river was actually with the view on the building next to hotel. At the check in the employee swiped my card 4 times because of the problems with their system, all of these transactions, however, were fine according to my bank account statement. So, I was charged 4 times for one night in this hotel.

Our family had the most amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge!!! A little staycation in the city we love so much, just to get out of the heat and switch it up a bit.
Kayla was the first smiling face I encountered (under her mask of course) I had made reservations through AAA.com for a room with a balcony view and 2 beds... unfortunately that type of room was not an option and the reservation had never gone through, so Kayla worked quickly to create me a new reservation with a queen and a pull out and a balcony with the aaa discount, free parking and hyatt rewards points.
I asked for a room on a high floor and she gave us the best available which was the second to highest floor. The lobby was beautiful and all the signs were helpful and clearly marked. All covid precautions had us feeling safe and comfortable. The kids loved the cool elevator.

Our room was amazing!! The view was untouchable and looked like a postcard. We had full views of the Charles and we were facing east so we had the most gorgeous view of the Pru, John Hancock, even Fenway and the Citgo sign. I spent a whole night hyperlapsing the sunset from the west side... it was breathtaking
And the balcony!!! The balcony was like an extra room!! Square table 4 chairs and so much room! No fears of falling with the littles as the balcony below is set up like staircases. You've seen it from storrow, I've always been fascinated with the shape of this hotel since I was little :)

Overall any issue we had was taken care of promptly and with the best customer service. They had a little breakfast set up in the morning (please note we honestly didn't think it cost anything how the flyers were worded, however the gentleman who assisted us was so kind and the system was down sooo ;) the prices were reasonable though and the Fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing! We were so in love we extended the room for an extra night which was awesome, went to the aquarium the next day, walked the city, the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

The food around there is the best too! I mean Cambridge is a food mecca. We ordered 3 times from cambridge pizza and they were awesome! We tried Armandos but they weren't delivering:(
So fast and contactless drop-off in the hotel lobby :)
Food was awesome, we ordered a few other places too, but cambridge pizza was so consistent, fast and delicious.

We did wake up our checkout morning to some banging pipes and than we found we had no water :/ which put a damper on the morning, but Kayla and her team promptly addressed our concerns.
We were told as soon as we called down we would be given a room to shower and get ready in and they also let us have a super extended check out. We got a discounted rate for the inconvenience and enjoyed they day taking our time to pack and ordered more pizza before we left. Alicia I believe was the manager who called the room to help us out cause at first the idea of going to another room to brush our teeth and everything was not ideal but she assured us they would do what they could and they did. Kayla arrived promptly to the door with a key and we scurried over to another room got prepped and went back to our room, we left around 4 and had the greatest time.
Kayla went above and beyond and was so kind to us, we honestly had the best time and we will definitely be back!! Thank you for an amazing time.

My experience with this hotel is limited to the parking garage, lobby, and front lawn on the Charles. The parking garage elevator made loud, unsettling noises as it operated in a slow and jerky manner. The covered pathway from the garage to the lobby was unbearably hot and seemed to be without any environmental controls. The lobby was nice. The lobby elevators are beautiful, smooth, and silent. The event I attended on the front lawn was nice with decent food and good service. However, partway through a live band performance, the power to the sound equipment was cut off and not restored for the remaining four or five songs of their set. It was extremely disrespectful to the performers. Otherwise, I had a wonderful time and would recommend you visit this hotel if you don't need the garage elevator or are not a performing rock band requiring sound equipment.

The property is a little bit out-dated, but they are working to update things like the HVAC (which was badly out-dated until recently). I get a corporate rate when I stay there which is great value, but it can be pricey at peak times of the year otherwise. The corporate contacts and really every staff member I've met is tremendously friendly and helpful. The views over the Charles to downtown Boston are splendid, and I love waking to the sight of the rowing crews out for practice and the iconic Citgo sign near Fenway. The disappointing restaurant and pricey bar are my only complaints, which wouldn't be as big a deal if there were good options closer.

Beautiful interior, outside is Institutional, run down and ugly. Bar and restuarant was ok and rooms are clean. A.C. in my particular room was loud, I'd stay again. Center of boston and cambridge metro area, decent walk to restaurants. On site pay for parking

Nice location. Nice people. Aesthetics are beautiful. The glass elevators are a nice touch. The rooms are comfortable and the 50 in flat screen TV is a bonus for sure. The downside is the microwave is by the front and not in the room or on the floor. The entryway is noisy...you can hear everything through the front door. I recommend you not get a room by the elevators as you will hear every ding of the elevator and conversation. Lastly the lights in the room are constantly buzzing. It may not bother some but if you are sensitive to sounds its the equivalent of a fly at a distance constantly buzzing. I'll end on a positive note. The bed was very comfortable even if you have back problems.

For guests who will only be using the gym, pool, and spa I strongly recommend this hotel. The pool was perfect and the steam rooms were to die for. There could have been more gym equipment but the current amount was acceptable.

Helped chaperone a school prom. It was on the 16 floor so the views were wonderful. Though the windows were quite dirty and I counted 3 dirty forks around the room from a previous event. The kids had fun and didn't seem overly bothered by these things.

Nice enough hotel for a conference. Friendly and helpful staff. Really good food provided for conference attendees, very few amenities included in the stay. I was our way back in a corner room in a tight hall, so my view was beautiful, but I had my infant with me, so navigating the right space was a pain, and we could hear our neighbors.

The rooms are nice but the management is very incompetent. I left a pair of pants in the room after I checked out, and when I went back just a few hours later to retrieve them it took them a half hour to tell me that they can't find them, but after I insisted that I must have left them in the room they found them in the cleaning unit. Also, the phone in my room was broken so I went down to get a tooth brush and some toothpaste and it took them 10min before telling me that they will send them to the room. To be fair the people are all very friendly, but they are just not competent hotel managers.

I was very disappointed to be "walked" after arriving late at night, despite noting on my reservation my late arrival and also calling earlier in the day to notify them of and confirm my late arrival. I was assured on the phone that it would be "no problem, we'll note that on your reservation and look forward to having you stay with us tonight whenever you arrive". I'm frustrated that despite my planning and communication with the staff that they failed to honor my reservation. I was placed at an alternative (and inconvenient) property at 1 AM, away from my colleagues and the purpose of my trip. Given the poor communication amongst the staff and my due diligence before arriving late, I would not stay at this hotel again and am recommending to my company's travel team to remove this property from our list of recommended hotels in Boston.

Great viewing hotel, no bath tub, showers out dated, no microwave to heat up food but there is a refrigerator. There is a high priced restaurant with limited menu choices. Doormen are very helpful and thoughtful.

Spent four nights here during a convention that was being held in the hotel. We lucked into a room facing the atrium that runs the height of the hotel, which was very cool. While I have no complaints about our room, we didn't have a microwave or a fridge (both of which I strongly prefer because, if I'm staying at a hotel, I'm probably eating out of restaurants). Furthermore, the breakfast buffet was both 1) expensive and 2) awful. Without the convention rate room discount and free parking, I wouldn't see myself staying here.

Rooms were not up to par with a 4 star hotel. Service was slow and poor (during and after stay). Rooms were very loud late into the evening. I definitely won't be staying here again (Kimpton has always been nicer, and there is one down the street).

Checked in at 1am and was told the room type I booked is out. This sort thing happens a lot but what surprises me is how could the receptionist be so justified to 'notify' me it with no even an apology

So far the check in experience has been terrible. I put my number in the system so I was in queue when the room is ready. After waiting for 3 hrs. I came to the counter and ask how long it's gonna take. The person basically acted like she didn't care at all and said when you receive an notification on your cellphone. And I double checked with her to make sure my number was there, correctly. The guess what, I waited for another 2 hrs just to receive a message/ call on my cellphone when my room was already ready for almost 2 hrs. Came to the same person again and this is literally heat she said: well we don't always call or message to notify.

We stayed here for my cousin's wedding, which was also hosted at the Hyatt. It was so convenient and comfortable, and the rooms were gorgeous. There was a tent set up outside for the ceremony, with a solid floor - so handy for those of us in heels! The reception was upstairs in the ballroom and we had the most gorgeous views of the river and city.

Hotel is clean and nicely laid out. Lots of nooks to hide in and just enjoy the view or get some work done. Conveniently located not too far from the action, but far enough to avoid all the additional city noise. One of the best meals I have ever had at a hotel restaurant (Zephyr Restaurant)...my compliments to the chef. Prices are about on par for most restaurants in the area. Yet, $23 for breakfast is a little excessive...I imagine it is to cover comps for other big events that get free breakfast, but I personally will never pay that much for bacon and eggs.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone at the front desk was so helpful and friendly! The room is very nice, bed is very comfortable, and the view amazing. The staff and food at the Zephyr was fantastic, too.

We had business lunch at hotel. It was not the service you'd expect from hotel. First, we sat ourselves because no wait staff was there to assist us. Then we looked around and had to physically get up and walk over to find wait staff to ask for menu. Ordered BLT & bottle of still water for my client, Rare burger & diet coke for me. Burger came out overcooked, no one came back to check if it was cooked properly. Diet coke was flat and had grease floating which was disgusting. If I was rating for food alone & service I would give 1 star but we were looking for quite place where we can have meeting over lunch, it suited our purpose so that's why I'm giving 3 stars due to having lack of customers.

It's a very nice hotel and the staff is accommodating. We got a room with two beds and asked for a room with one and they were obliging to look and see if they could find one and they let us switch.
