Beautiful hotel. Staff is superb!! Very welcoming. Felt right at home :)

The hotel staff was excellent (especially during breakfast). If I had to have one complaint it was that the rooms need to be modernized. Otherwise I would highly recommend this establishment if you need to stay on long Island.

I've stayed at this Hyatt Regency multiple times as my corporate office is in the area. This is a very nice property especially compared to what else is in the area. The staff is great, rooms are clean and the golf course view is beautiful. The one bad thing is the food is not great. The menu looks good but the quality is poor.

The hotel and grounds are very well kept. Food and drinks at the bar was extremely enjoyable. The bar was a bit small for the hotel though

The hotel is ok. Great location for work and they upgraded me upon arrival.

The hotel is clean and well appointed. Guest rooms are up to date with refrigerator and coffee maker but no microwave. They use ihomes for clocks so you cant set the time which makes me nuts. Only one restaurant for this large of a hotel makes grabbing dinner very difficult and service is slow.

DO NOT STAY HERE. EVER. worst experience of my life. worse than any budget hotel/motel i have ever stayed in. we were here for a family wedding and had a large amount of rooms blocked off and pre paid for. after the wedding, MANY guests returned to the hotel to be told that their rooms were no longer available. the "gentleman" at the front desk was SO unbelievably rude. many out-of-town guests were left with no where to stay. a majority of the guests did not receive the gift bags that were so thoughtfully prepared for them, by the bride. it's a shame that the effort that went into planning such a special event was overshadowed by a completely incompetent staff. i cannot stress it enough... DO NOT STAY HERE.

Just spent the night there. Worst sleep I have had in a while. Pillows were terrible. Food saved the stay.

The rooms were okay. The food at the restaurant was sub-par, and I got mouldy fruit at breakfast and the coffee cups on the table were dirty.

My daughter went for a job interview, this place is absolutely breathtaking. The staff were courteous and nice. Would love to stay here a night or two.

It was a nice place. But due to the weather the parking lot was a nightmare.

The overnight agent Ray was of great help. I was here for a wedding and got stuck locked out of friend's room with two others late at night. Initially I was told there were no rooms available but my years of experience working in the hotel industry kept me insistent on getting a room. I was a bit drunk and obnoxious and Ray handled it like a champ; even upgrading me to a room with two beds so that my buddies could also be comfortable. Thanks a lot!

The hotel is better than most, the rooms are nicely decorated and don't remind you a of a average affordable hotel. The hall that the event was in was magnificent, and the staff was great as well. They let our party do as we pleased with very little interference. I'd definitly go back here, or even have an event here for myself.

Small really great bar. Pool, perfect. Quiet and not anywhere as expensive as one would think. I highly recommend it.

Room wasn't ready, AC hardly worked, breakfast room at hotel (buffet) was dirty and so understaffed that I basically felt I waited on myself.

Hotel certainly wasnt bad, rooms were clean, etc but seemed like an overpriced 3 star business hotel rather than the nice 4 star hotel we were expecting.

We used this hotel as our room block for our wedding guests. Our guests really enjoyed this hotel and its convenience to Insignia was ideal. It was so easy for our guests to book rooms, and they had nothing but good things to say about the accommodations. Our guests loved hanging at the bar after the wedding and ordered tons of yummy pizza/wings/quesadillas to snack on. Ashley Neubert was a DREAM to work with! She made planning the room block extremely easy. She is attentive, responsive, pleasant, and fun. She handled everything from hotel welcome bags to booking last minute rooms to setting up strawberries and champagne in our room for when the wedding was over! Thank you, Ashley!

I Didn't stay here. I attended a three day real estate seminar. Front desk staff sure seemed professional and friendly. The lobby and lounge is impressive.

A comfortable place to stay overnight with multiple amenities and warm concierge service!

Food was very good. The music and DJ were excellent and the environment was cozy and spacious

Nice rooms, decent price for the area. Breakfast was a bit pricey at 20 dollars for a mediocre buffet. Although the service during breakfast was above average.

Clean rooms, exemplary service, and good food. What more can you ask for?

Bad: Noisy hallways with doors slamming. Slow WiFi and poor quality cable TV. $5 for a bottle of water in the room when similar priced hotels give it to you free. Small beds minimal pillows.

The rooms and service are great and it's located in a beautiful area. Unfortunately the restaurant, nu, is not my favorite and the wait for food was quite long with minimal people at the restaurant.

Hotel is beautiful and huge! Almost feels like you re in a palace! The front desk was very attentive and prompt to handle any concerns big or small, without hesitation! The room was nice and well managed! Indoor pool could be warmer especially with the fall season and winter approaching , but other than that ? Great stay ! :)

Stayed there saturday night for my wedding night. Specifically booked a king room but they would only give us a standard. The kid at the front desk was rude about it too. The alarm went off at 3 am and the entire hotel had to evacuate. No fire trucks only a fire marshal and absolutely no explanation from the staff. The AC in the room was loud and everytime it kicked on or off it sounded like someone was banging on the door. The worst part was the disgusting shower. There was mold and hair smeared on the ceiling. I contacted the manager the next morning but received no response.

Update: They charged me an unauthorized extra $24.73 on my card on my checkout day. Not just a pre-authorization, an actual charge. I immediately disputed the charge on my card.

What this hotel is doing with credit cards is nothing short of fraudulent. They blame their "system". If that's the case, they need to only run cards once on check-out and not keep them on file until they are able to resolve the problem.

This hotel does some really shady stuff with pre-authorizations. They hit me and my coworker with multiple pre-authorizations of different amounts than our stays and I heard at least two other people at the front desk complaining about it too.

Do not use a debit card if you stay here. Luckily I was using a credit card with a relatively high limit so it didn't affect me.

We went here for a dance competition the room was small for the dressing room and the performances. But would be a great size for a banquet.

I only attended a conference but the environment was very nice. It was fairly expensive.

The location makes you feel like you're not in NY. It's quiet and surrene. I was there for a wedding and the venue and staff were great. I thought I had misplaced my wallet and they were quick to search and contact all departments. I had just dropped it, but a friend had picked it up for me.

What you would expect of paying for a room. Our bathroom did have a hole from an old hook on the door. Also it did not have a fan. Breakfast and coffee are not included in the price of the room. People may not smoke in the rooms but they definitely smoke in the stairwell.

Bad dinner experience this evening from poor service at Nu restaurant. Took more than 10 minutes for a glass of water. Had to approach a server for their attention. No one seems to care and walked to the manager for the bill. It is not up to Hyatt standard. I will speak to the manager in the morning.

The stay was perfect, besides the room service but i definitely enjoyed the front desk agents ciara was my favorite of all with her bright smile i had surgery and she made me feel like i was home. Overall loved the hotel and the food

Worst service. 30 mins to put in your good order. Waited over another 39 mins for a salad. Poor management skills. Never cone her AGAIN.

My room was very nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable and loved the pillows! Staff at the front desk was always so helpful.

The Hyatt was wonderful, clean, and welcoming. All that you would fine in a normal hotel you would find at the Hyatt but with a sleek elegance. One of the nicer hotels in have stayed at the only problem I see is that the price was a little higher then I would have liked

A hotel with class hard to tell at times but a very unique misleading hotel atmosphere! However, the night staff is quick to get into an argument, insensitive and you'll know who they are once you make rounds in this catastrophe. Quick to blame even employees who do a great job including the professional security company on staff. Don't even be fooled by the flash smiles not even for a second. No security cameras anywhere it seems, so if something happens in this hotel you are 100% at fault if you can prove otherwise. This atmosphere is highly uncalled for and there needs to be a system of serious checks and balances. Nothing else to go on here, except hope this bad night staff doesn't run this Hyatt into being condemned and shut down for good. Hope the guests feel welcomed here, it's very creepy and unwelcomed if you stay awhile you'll get a cold shoulder like I did.

Clean. Nice. Comfy beds. Check in was quick and professional. Was going to stay with 4 stars but ill give 5 for for now. If something goes south before check out. Ill take away the 5th star.

Usually stay here, but now they charge $12 a night for parking for a huge lot that has never been full. Just a way to make more money off of guests. Room was dated. Portable AC unit with hoses out the window. Appeared that in room AC broke. Temp was okay, but it was loud.

Nice lounge area, polite staff, and very nice rooms. The menu is perfect. I would stay here again.

Staff are courteous and the rooms are basically fine, but lack many of the upgrades and amenities you would expect in a Regency.

Hyatt Regency Long Island is a very comfortable place to stay if you are in the area, the rooms are not that huge though, but other than that the food is great and i had an overall good time.

Terrible Customer Service. I pre paid for my room in full and once my stay was over they charged me again for the entire stay. It s hard to get a hold of anyone at the front desk even through out my stay. Im disappointed this was a Hyatt hotel as most of my stays were much better.

Amazing time here....staff was fantastic and beyond attentive. Room was great...with a beautiful view!

Very outdated rooms. The guest rooms are not equipt with USB outlets, remeber to bring your own. Staff does not pick up the phone at main desk. If you request extra towels, be prepared to wait hours and if you have a do not disturb sign on your door anticipate them knocking. Will never stay at this property again
