Has really gone downhill. I had my room changed 3 times because things were not working correctly. Property needs so much attention and maintenance. I understand how hard the situation is right now with Coronavirus but you can't let your hotel get this run down.

I had the worst stay at this hotel. I was moved to 3 different rooms in one weekend. After my stay I had to wait 2 weeks for my deposit. I had to actually go back to the hotel and wait 3 hours for them to give me a check. During the stay everyone had to exit the hotel due to someone smoking. The floor I was placed on smelled like a smoking pit. There was someone smoking marijuana as well. Horrible

It was a very nice hotel. The elevators are smooth and you can't feel them moving. The conference center is great. That was what I was there for. The catered food was delcious. The room was comfortable. I liked the chair with the foot rest and the desk. The location is a bit secluded. There is plenty of parking. The staff was friendly.

I went here while planning for our conference. They have a wonderful conference space with a grand entrance - very opulent. The rooms, staff and facility are great. The manager was exceptionally accommodating and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we decided to host our event elsewhere. The town center was not attractive and the hotel's proximity to nearby conveniences and attractions was not ideal; and we found a better location and got a more favorable rate. However, I highly recommend this hotel for stays and conferences.

We didn't get a good night sleep. Our headboard was on the same wall as the elevator shaft and we heard it going up and down all night. The tub was moldy and there was a ton of lint caught in the hair dryer. I'm surprised the hair dryer didn't catch on fire.

Well, if you like overpriced rooms in the middle of nowhere, thin walls, HBO family as the only premium channel offering, driving 10 or more minutes for decent restaurant selections then this is the place for you.
This place is good for a one night stay, but nothing else.

I loved

Nice enough decor. Well-appointed conference rooms. But the details are not what I expect them to be for a four-star hotel. Some things are a little rough around the edges. If you're not into details, you won't notice. They mean well, but they are not top-notch like they could be.

Really enjoyed this hotel and it's service. Room was great as well as the pool and hot tub. Only complaint is if the hot tub could have been warmer. Overall, enjoyed my time at the Hyatt Regency.

If you are booking a party and/or conference room,...

If you are booking a party and/or conference room, be very careful! Our women's a cappella chorus had booked an overnight retreat at the Hyatt and had both our meals and rehearsals in a downstairs conference room. In a vivid mistake, the Hyatt Sales Staff had placed us next to a revivalist concert. The result was suffering all day with the most ear-shattering, wall rattling noise coming through the paper thin walls. This is not the fault of the other organization but rather that the Hyatt's conference rooms are not built to absorb such noise and the two parties should never have been placed together.

At dinner time, despite being told that the noise would ebb, it did not. It was too loud to talk, hear or think. I would not wish this on anyone celebrating an important meeting or occasion.

Kudos go out to Glenn, the Banquet Manager, Miriam Lucas and Kirk Henry, the Manager, for listening to our plight. After repeated requests, they did indeed move our entire dinner upstairs to a delightful - and quiet - room. The food was excellent and the service as well. As an apology, we were served champagne. Anyone can make a mistake; it is how you handle it. Many thanks for their courtesy in rectifying the situation. But if you are booking a party, be aware!!

Staff at check-in desk needs to be more efficient. Housekeeping staff is very attentive. Bellman is also efficient. Coffee in lobby he needs to be a hotter temperature. Bartender on Sunday night is a gem!

The enhancements to of the property are only surpassed by the caliber of the staff. Know this property before it was built. It opened as a Marriott, converted to a Wyndham, and Hyatt has finally taken this asset where it always deserved to go.

Felt like a hotel in need of renovating. It was good, the service was good and the food was good, however everything about our stay was nothing deserving of five stars. The pools I will say we're above average.

Mix of good and bad. Only cold showers, never any hot water which was insane. Walls very thin. Bed was very comfortable though and lobby was pretty. Mixed feelings, dont think I'd want to stay again.

Just avoid this hotel (at least while Covid is still a major concern). The service is terrible. They don't offer bathroom essentials like lotion or conditioner. Even when they advertise they offer free breakfast, there's is no such thing. All the amenities are closed and there is no room service. The front desk personnel is always busy and it takes you more than one try to reach them.
Mini Fridge at the room is noisy and might make it hard to fall asleep.
Make yourself a favor and pick up another hotel

Spacious and refined with great amenities, this is a fantastic hotel for a stay (or getaway for locals) on Long Island. Great venue for lp COVID INFO: Pool is open, restaurant/lounge is closed, limited room service menu from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Corner Market is open. Whirlpool is closed.

Nice rooms and nice location. Have had numerous problems with the room keys becoming deactivated and the lock mechanism not functioning. Changed rooms during one stay and had the same issue in two different rooms.

Not pleasant at all. Cover for the air vent fell out and had to be put back by me with only 1 screw available. No toiletries from the time we set foot. Had to call front desk to retrieve them. Early Sunday morning, there was a bedbug on the window. Wished to speak to general manager but was told he/she was unavailable on a constant. Front desk were very incompetent and tended to our needs minimally. Will address this with corporate.

We just spend this past weekend at this hotel. We were looking forward to spending Mother's Day weekend here. Well, to be honest, I have stayed at Super 8's classier than here. The grounds were disgusting, broken glass, garbage thrown in the bushes and never picked up for the entire weekend. We had children with us, looking forward to the indoor pool. First thing Saturday am, woke up to absolutely no hot water... Once we went to the front desk, we learned no one in this huge hotel had hot water. Well, the explanation was someone turned off the main switch... that someone was employed there. Then later in the day, we were told it was closed all day.... No one would tell us why, until finally we were told because they had a wedding there and the people in the wedding would prefer it to be closed. Really, it's pricey and I did expect to get what we paid for since the wedding they did have Friday and Saturday nights, trashed the grounds... I really did feel for the employees, they tried so hard. I can only blame the management. Save yourself from disappointment, go somewhere else. I was so disappointed.

Neat and clean, lots of parking. Staff not pushing themselves into prominence atvthe event generally but the moment we would ask a question they were polite and helpful. Enjoyable gathering at a nice hotel.

The upsides: nice looking place, good location, helpful staff, good restaurant. Nice shower and tub. Lots of newer towels.

The downsides: poor rooms w unuseful desk that is too high and a non-office chair that is way too low, uncomfortable pillows, thin blankets, no extra blankets, few power outlets, poor TV selection, no glasses in bathroom, maids don't refill coffee.

Conclusuon: overpriced and under attention to details. Older furniture that is out of sync w their clientele.

The location was perfect for the purpose that I needed, which was to have a hub to return to after I visited a relative nearby and the room was quite comfortable. Pretty standard Hyatt stuff.

Stayed here on points, only paid for food. Very large property at which most guests seemingly use catering/convention services. CA, the software house, is across the street and seems to be a major customer. Golf course here, no idea how good it is. Public evidently has access to the clubhouse.
Had a problem with the room key, got a big discount coupon for dinner. Food in restaurant is pretty good, attentive staff.
There was a weird situation at dinner wherein a divorced man and woman sort of got into it at the next table over. Mgt. took care of it pretty quickly once they hit a certain volume level. Got a handwritten apology, no less.
Property is nice and management seems to genuinely want you to have a nice stay.

Friends were staying at the hotel for their wedding. Last night we had a large group for dinner around 10pm. Young children and everything. We must've been a nightmare for the staff. They were super friendly and accommodating to our needs. The food wasn't 4 star but it was still pretty good. The bartender made a pretty good old fashioned too.

Nice
