The property here is gorgeous, the swimming pool, spa, everything is well appointed. The room is spacious, well arranged and clean. I used the tea maker, I used the refrigerator. I would have loved a bigger tub. However, I could go to the spa too for an out door hot tub, along with sauna, wet and or dry. All of which I did, along with a massage. It may not be the most luxurious room but for the price and how well appointed my room was, it gets 5 stars. I also love all the infused fruit water for guest!

This place is beautiful! With exception of some of the bar wait staff it would have gotten 5 stars. Even though they had plenty of servers on hand, the service was terrible in Shellers. Everything else was fantastic!

Beautiful, relaxing, accommodating, FUN, Family Oriented Lazy River, Swimming pools, spas, horseback riding, bicycling, zip lining, canoe/kayak rentals, hiking, and the finest dining of most Hyatt's. Evening outdoor festivities, s'more's by the fire, live music often, indoor games of billiards, ping pong and a plethora of action packed memories to make at this special place!!!

Wonderful resort! Stayed here with a group of girlfriends and had the absolute best time. The bar service to the pool was fabulous and the staff are all so friendly. 10/10 recommend the iced vanillas lattes at the brunch restaurant (can't think of the name!). Thank you for a beautiful and relaxing vacation.

Fun!

UPDATE...Hyatt Lost Pines has made no attempt to make things right or provide explanations for all the issues. I did reach out to them twice and no response, nothing. Instead they leave these generic comments on all the negative reviews but don t try to actually correct the issues. Seems they don t need or care about repeat customers. There are many other similar resorts that are not Hyatt that we will happily choose over them. I ll be avoiding Hyatt in general since this is our 2nd awful experience with a Hyatt hotel. They are not up to the standards you would expect from Hyatt.

Just finished a 1 night stay and have to say I m very dissatisfied with our stay and the level of customer service here. Upon checkin asked if it would be an issue to add a night to our stay and was told no problem they had plenty of availability. Get to our room which was a very long walk but nice view/location to pool and pond. There was hair and what looked like blood in the tub. Called to let them know and got moved to a different room about 20 minutes later. The renovated rooms are nice and very spacious which was nice. In the morning I called to add another night and was told they were sold out of our rooms and we would have to move rooms again. I don t understand why they moved us to a room that wasn t available after I asked if we could stay 2 nights? The manager didn t seem to care or try to accommodate us after expressing our issues/concerns, we got offered a late checkout instead since we didn t feel comfortable switching rooms again. With Covid, they shouldn t expect their guests to move rooms 3 times, that isn t practicing safety. Masks and social distancing are not being enforced, plenty of guests not wearing them walking around inside hotel/hallways. Employees wearing them under their nose. The pool is very small, shallow, and grossly hot. The lazy river is nice but dirty. Lots of dead bugs and leaves. Was told pool restaurant was open until 6pm, they made an announcement at 3pm for last call for food so they left us 1 option for dinner and it was so overpriced, small portions, and slow service. The s mores were nice for the kids but people crowd around the fire pits without masks so it was uncomfortable. Family movies every night but they should notify guests if they change the location. We stood around waiting at the location provided and nothing, asked an employee and told must have been cancelled. Went to front desk and told moved locations so we missed the first 20-30 minutes. Our favorite part was the fishing pond but they don t sell bait, I wish they would since it s supposed to be one of the amenities. The nature is really pretty, we did see a couple deer but be aware the wasps are really bad. They are swarming everything and everywhere, there are nests all around the lazy river and even outside the patio to our room. Bike trails are paved but very short, only took 10 minutes to finish the entire trail. Definitely not what we expected, very disappointed in the level of service and the amenities that are offered right now at the high prices.

I have been very impressed with the Lost Pines resort so far. Everything has been very fun. The food is good (even if overpriced), the grounds are beautiful, and there's a ton of stuff to do. I could definitely see myself coming here with the family to spend a nice long weekend. Only complaint is the outdated bathroom. The shower literally has pieces falling off the wall. Water pressure was also terrible. Great toiletries though! The people are also wonderful.

Beautiful hotel with lots of built-in activities and attractions. Nice restaurants on site do you don't have to really leave the hotel and the service was great wherever we went.

Definitely want to return with more family.

Stayed here for a girl's weekend and it was fabulous. The spa treatments were amazing and there was lots of room to roam around at the resort. Lots of kids and families there but never felt overwhelmed by them thanks to all the space. Room was clean and very cool in hot weather. Lovely amenities and friendly staff. Food was subpar but decent. You can bring snacks and food as each room as a mini-fridge. Will definitely come back again with the girls and my family.

Location was a nice getaway from the city of Austin while also being such a short drive away. Surrounded by trees and small pieces of farm land so, the scenery is nice and gives off strong Texas vibes. Spent most of my time outside with the outdoor bartender that made great tasting margaritas that weren't bogged down by so much sugar. Overall great experience here

Perfect getaway for the whole family. Just got back from a family outdoor movie at the amphitheatre to close out the perfect day. The pool alone is worth the trip, you'll have memories for a lifetime.

The room was great and the staff was very nice. I had to go back to my car at night because I forgot something in the car and on my way there a staff worker kindly asked me if I needed a lift to my car in her golf cart. She even waited with me at my car to give me a return lift back. I was really happy with the staff there.

Business meeting was held at this hotel. It is located far from the airport, and was inconvenient. There are two Hyatt Regency hotels in this area, cab driver took me to the one in downtown. If you take a taxi, make sure to say Lost Pine.

Great food served buffet style for meetings although they ran out of items. The bar has a small selection of draft beers, including pecan Porter. Smores are free nightly alongside a huge fire pit. Kayaking is only off-site but nearby, being 10-15 minutes away.

My husband and I love the Hyatt Lost Pines! It's a beautiful resort, surrounded by nature, that offers a lot to do, especially as a family. Swimming, biking, kayaking, horseback riding, fishing, airboat rides...and fireside s'mores at night, it's a great adventure!

Victoria was amazing at the front desk as I called and she took perfect care of US! This is what it is all about folks, We enjoyed the pool, our room and had an amazing time for our day away from Houston, You could be in Hawaii or ceder creek!
Thanks again Hyatt employees like Victoria are the hallmark of a great stay!

We went to the Thanksgiving dinner buffer, which including the embedded gratuity charge, came out to be over $70/person. The food was okay, but nothing was hot, the staff seemed annoyed to be there, and the lavishly displayed dessert tables offered mediocre desserts. The gratuity apparently was to cover a minimum-wage employee to visit our table 2 or 3 times to clear dishes. What a royal waste of time, money, and space in my stomach.

Thanksgiving brunch had some great seafood and the best prime rib I've had in many years. The rest of the plentiful offerings had some issues, but still edible. Odd thing was noticeable lack of training of many staff members. I have to use a cane for balance and counted more than six times that a staff person bumped me out of their way with a "excuse me" trailing in their wake. Really needed the cane then to stay upright.

Absolutely magical...every time! This was a much needed getaway during these crazy (confined) times. We decided to head out for some fun on the lazy river and laughter with our kiddos. Lost Pines did not disappoint. Gorgeous property, exemplary staff, not crowed, clean, fun activities....we did not want to leave! Thank you for helping us make another memorable family trip for the books!

Atended a conference here for work, everything was extremely nice and all staff were helpful. Did not get a chance to explore the 400+ acres much, but i will definitely be going back to do alot of the many recreational activities available.

We were just visiting and enjoying the place! There is quite a bit of property and lots of paved trails through lush vegetation (forest or jungle-like). Also humingbird and butterfly refuges. And some long horn steers and other animals as well. Don't forget lazy river, wading pools, shooting water streams (fountain playground) and swimming pool. Lots of interesting outdoor stuff.
