Awesome get away! Golf course and lazy river are great!
Great staff. Very friendly. Russ was a new server and our favorite. Excellet customer service and checked on us many times, very attentive. Reception was sweet and a lady at the coffee shop very personable. Just had an amazing time. Pricing was high in the spa and so many activities were unavailable. We went in May on week days so maybe occupancy drives activity level. Lazy pool was fun. The nature aspect really was peaceful and bikes are available which was amazing! Food was okay, again not everything was available due to occupancy so becareful if you book off season not everthing is available.
Rooms are dated. Food was good at the restaurant but service was horrible. We were staying there as a family and had 3 rooms booked. They put us in an area that Construction was taking place. During the day it was extremely loud which affected the kids napping. We couldn t sit on the balcony or even have our drapes open because of the workers. We had bathing suits out there drying and the working entered our room without notice to remove our belongings all while my baby was sleeping in the room!
Nice grounds, helpful golf carts get you around the sprawled area quick. The food at the restaurant we went to was ok, but not near a "fine dining" experience. Someone spilled their spring at our table and the waitress just handed us one rag instead of actually helping us clean it up. That was frustrating. Overall, I would go back if I was a golfer, but not for dinner.
The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort is a beautiful place. I have nothing but good things to say about it. However, be extremely careful about booking. In the time it took me to confirm a date change with my friend (around 15 minutes) they raised the price $62 / night. I booked over two months out, too, so this wasn't a last-minute decision. I called them to give them a chance to make it right, but they wouldn't. I'll be staying elsewhere.
The food @shellars was good and so was the customer service.
Pretty spot and fun place to take the kids. The hotel itself is just so massive that it is almost too much!
Nice "retreat" facility, especially for families with children that need entertaining while the adult(s) are attending seminars and whatnot. There are fees associated with *everything*, which is not surprising, but is annoying when self-park is a 1/4 - 1/2 mile away (depending on building) and $15/day and there is plenty of space for the surface lots... Decent food (room service has an additional $5 'delivery fee' because it is a spread out campus) Over all, it is a good place for a team-building retreat when you need your folks to be away from everything, but expensive with 'hidden fees'.
The resort is located deep in the woods and next to the Colorado River. The area is very quiet and peaceful with lots of activities. The food was great and the rooms are modern and clean. The resort is huge and very family friendly. The pool is great and has a lazy river and other pool amenities. At night, they have a fire pit with snores so another great activity for the whole family. Overall, a great weekend place for families!
This property is nicely situated on acres of land. The rooms are nice. I just felt they are not use to seeing people of color. Beware.
Clean rooms, friendly service, great food. A great staycation place.
Resort is nice and service in restaurant, valet, spa and meeting space was good. Had a few issues while there including all cardio equipment being gone and the rooms and locker room in the spa seem a bit rundown.
I accidentally clicked on 2 stars earlier. Beautiful resort!
Beautiful location and a good sense of Texas hill country. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Very well laid out and very spacious. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It was a bit confusing for us being our first time. No map of the property in our room and no initial instruction at check in to guide us to the major amenities. So we had to stop and ask every time we were trying to find something like the spa. Our room was clean but the bed was in bad shape. Side boards obviously missing, old lumpy mattress, heavily stained grout in the bathroom, and the fixtures have definitely seen better days. Thermostat did not function so regulating temp in the room was impossible. The spa was nice but could use a bit of work. Showers and fixtures are in disrepair. Jacuzzis were FULL of bugs. Details that you would not think to be overlooked at a higher end resort.
Beautiful property, lots to do, staff is very good and the food is great. It's overall a very nice place to go
The place has numerous outdoor activities (paid), heated pool, comfortable room, bicycles available, gym, playground for children, tennis court, has a huge trail near the lake, space to play soccer, games space, More
Very nice place. A great place to bring the family. Several things to do while you stay there. We love that it's pet friendly also. Highly recommend!
Relaxing getaway for the whole family. Kids will love the pool, animals, and s'mores.
This resort has it all for a getaway. All ages will enjoy the pool, the food options and the activities. Don't miss going horseback riding! Rooms are super spacious. Can't wait to go back and try more of the activities and the spa!
Reserved a room for over $300 for one night for the Zooma event. Developed a hip problem that would make it impossible to participate in the 5K. Not able to cancel the room because Hyatt requires a non-refundable deposit for one night for cancellation, so I have to pay for the room, but can't participate in the event. Not a happy camper and will not select Hyatt for any of my future events.
A true resort. A gathering place for family and festivities of all ages to enjoy comforting scenery that is sophisticated and cozy. The main lodge is welcoming and grand. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food is just okay. Staff is very friendly and fun.
It's a beautiful resort set in rolling hills on the Colorado River. The staff go out of the way to assist you, even if you haven't asked.
This is a good place , nice location from Austin airport.
Lots of activities to do - hiking, pony visit, tennis, pool, etc.
Good staff and awesome service.
Huge texas-y luxury resort. Very impressive and imposing!
This is easily one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff was absolutely stellar, the accommodations were amazing, the grounds are gorgeous, the amenities are numerous. I recommend staying here.
Love the Hyatt!!! My family's go to place to feel like we are away from home without the drive. They are expensive but so worth it. Great restaurants and family activities.
Great place for kids. The staff was super accommodating!!
Great staff and management...would surely return there.
Our room wasn t properly cleaned. Mascara on the sheets and pillowcases, an awful odor and someone s candy was left on the carpet. Shawna was the only person who cared to make it right (even Omar the manager didn t do a thing to fix it). There were approximately 1000 kids who yelled and ran down the hall at all hours though there are signs for quiet hours from 9pm-7am. The pool bar closes 2 hours prior to the pool closing, so if you want anything you have to go to a ridiculously overpriced restaurant with horrible service (Amanda was the managed on duty when I went). Self park is well over .25 miles away to the entrance, let alone the whole trip to your room. The food from the room service menu was gross and they didn t properly take care of a food allergy that was made known beforehand (luckily it can be handled with just a benedryl). It was SO noisy. No matter what room you get and where it faces, it is noisy. It s clearly meant to be catered for families between the events, quiet hours, and the lack of thought&follow through for the adult amenities.
For the rate we paid for a holiday weekend, I would never return. Our first vacation in years, and it couldn t have been worse. This place ruined our whole weekend
Really helpful staff after my luggage failed to turn up, I got a knock on my door and was given two t-shirts to keep me going
The Hyatt Lost Pines Resort is located on 405 acres along the Colorado River. When you exit the highway you travel on what seems like several miles through heavily wooded terrain on a well maintained private road.
The grounds are well maintained and attractive. Facilities too. In addition to golf, there are plenty of fun things for the whole family. It is a very family orientated resort.
The staff was super accomodating to young kids on the pony riding, archery and tomahawk throwing, skeet shooting, and fishing in the stocked fishing tank.
They have a lazy river to float on during warmer months. The dinner and breakfast buffets were great. Everyone filled their plates with the large assortments of desserts. A very enjoyable weekend!
Lovely scenery, polite and helpful staff, wonderful recreation, good food, and gorgeous pool area. Need I say more?
Alecsys was super nice. The grounds were pretty and it was very peaceful. We would love to go back again.
This is a do-all resort. There are plenty of activities to keep both young and old entertained.
The rooms are well-appointed and quality materials have been used.
You may want to know that there are plenty of weddings and events being hosted here at any given time and sometimes several at once so it gets busy.
Also, it's just a short trip to Austin if you want to escape the resort.
Great place, lots of features and things to do... though it is in the middle of nowhere, everything you need is on-site! Friendly and accommodating staff.
Loved this place for our girl's trip! Will definitely be back!
Was there to support my fiance during her triathlon..loved resort and it was a great event.
Very pretty. Star sightings have been known to happen. Over priced but has a lot of amenities.
The friendliest staff I have ever seen. Made my experience amazing.
Not my first time here. As a poor college student here because of a family friend's almost expired points, I was happy that there was plenty to do without having to spend extra.
Mother's Day brunch was one of the best buffets I've ever had with incredible service, nice live music, and a kid friendly atmosphere without being too crazy or loud. Well done!
I would like to Thank Gaby Corona for taking the time to contact me about my experience with the Mother's Day Brunch at The Hyatt Lost Pines. She listened to my concerns and erased me that the things I mentioned would be looked into.
Thank You, again
Terri Bousquet.
Lost Pines and Spa Django are extremely beautiful! Their location is secluded from the highway entering with a windy road and even some wildlife. I bought a spa day pass and highly enjoyed the relaxing outdoor pool and eucalyptus steam room. The entire staff was extremely accommodating and genuinely nice. Even thought I was only there a few hours it felt long enough and felt relaxed and refreshed when I left. Thank you to the entire staff for a lovely experience.
Love this place!!! Everyone is super nice and the food and activities are amazing!! U get to ride bikes for free and swim in the lazy river and relax and the room are beautiful and nice, they have nice views. Totally recommend coming here and enjoy life and relax
We did not know what to expect.... but we were pleasantly surprised at this venue. Met up for company convention type meetings...but got to relax around the fire pits in the evenings, enjoy the spa during the day between meetings, and even fit in some golf. Fantastic location for any sort of group gathering. Plus, amazing steak house!!!
Luxury resort, this place has it all. The drive to entrance is fun.
Bucolic Austin ranch hotel, really cool, good food and lots of outdoor activity
We come here every year in the fall. It is our favorite place. Staff is nice and accomodating. Food services and restaurants are really good.
Very nice! The drive in is amazing, the grounds are beautiful. The food and entertainment is outstanding!
The service is the best I have experienced in a real long time. Everything they do has a personal touch and they offer so much for all ages. The total experience is one you will never forget.
Quiet and relaxing. Kaitlin (not sure the spelling) is a fantastic massage therapist.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Beautiful place, along the colorado river. You can hike in the area, bike, swim and more.
There are free bicycles in the hotel which is super nice. The bikes are not always maintained.
Loved the breakfast buffet in our first morning. We were disappointed that in our second morning there were no buffet.
Overall we had a good experience and would recommend this place for a weekend getaway.
This was a lovely rustic location, much more remote that we're used to. The rooms were nice with lots of activities and areas to enjoy. The staff were nice and very friendly but the check-in experience was not quite up to the level I expect of this rank of resort. The BBQ at their restaurant Shellers was fine, but the holiday buffet at Firewheel Cafe was fantastic. Room service was prompt. I was annoyed to be charged both a resort fee and a self-parking fee - I don't appreciate being nickled and dimed
We visited Spa Django and the staff was very warm and welcoming. Facilities and the massages we got were great.
Excellent getaway especially with children. Close enough to the city but far enough to feel secluded.
Very nice resort with lots of activities. Can't wait to go back.
Beautiful Hotel, Great Service, breakfast buffet is great although not included is very reasonably priced. It has a big pool with a lazy river and water slide, they have horseback riding, golf, kayaking, even shooting range.
Stayed there for a few days with the family. Good place to go with the family for vacation. Many options for the whole family to be entertained. Very good breakfast buffet. Over all very good experience.
Beautiful place, but work the hell out of high school kids. Pay them 8 dollars a hour. They are not allowed to use the pool
Can't attend fireworks, they get out late but don't pay ot. For a place that has outrageous prices to stay you'd think they would care more about these hard working kids.
Excellent resort! Many events and activities to choose from, good food, nice accommodations and a challenging golf course. Expect to see deer, armadillos and other wildlife on or around the property.
Wonderful experience. Great staff and warm home feeling
Absolutely gorgeous scenery. If you're looking to take a vacation, or rest your head for a few nights this is the place to be! This place is loaded with wonderful activities such as horse trail riding, golfing, fishing, bike riding, and so much more!
Very beautiful and very customer friendly. Amazing staff and amazing food.
This place gives meaning to the phrase "Texas Friendly"! The staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. Our room was a good size with a mini fridge, safe, kureg coffee pot and wifi. The bathroom had a separate tub and shower and very nice toiletries.
The restaurants offered plenty of options including vegan and vegetarian selections.
The spa is a fantastic facility with just about any service you would want and the resort fee covers the use of the locker rooms, exercise and pool.
Finally, take a little time to look at all the amazing ephemera on the walls... Everywhere you look are collections of art, writings, maps and music. It is a wonderful collage of Texas history.
I recently attended a conference here. It was a very nice experience.
The location is great. Just down Highway 71 east of Austin. It's just far enough away to be a nice getaway, but close enough that it doesn't take long to get there.
The conference facilities were very nice. The conference area is quite large, with several rooms, large, medium and small. The atmosphere is great and the people working there are very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed at how the staff members seemed to go out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. (I wasn't part of the event staff, so they might have another opinion, but as far as being an attender, it was quite pleasant for me). The rest rooms were immaculate and well-stocked with necessities.
I also loved that there were quiet corners set up with comfortable wing back chairs scattered throughout the meeting area. There were a few times when I needed a quiet place to catch up on email and other work, and those places were invaluable.
The food was very good. I was expecting the normal conference fare, but that's not what we got. Nothing was "gourmet" at all, but it was all very tasty, fresh and flavorful. There was always plenty of coffee available, too.
The grounds of this place are beautiful, too. It sits on the Colorado River and there are many great places to see the beauty of nature. There outdoor places to eat and have social times.
The only reason I give the place 4 stars is the lack of available wall outlets. I found it difficult to plug in and recharge. There seemed to be plenty of power for video and sound equipment, but precious little for the attendees. If it weren't for that, this place would get 5 stars easily.
I would very happily attend another event held here.
First time here, but the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. All in all a great place to stay, I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
Very nice hotel! Would recommend this to anyone for a relaxing and enjoyable time.
