We had some friends who were staying at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines who invited us to come visit them while they were there as the resort was only a half hour drive from Austin. So while we didn t stay the night, we got to experience much of what the resort has to offer. The pool, lazy river, and water slide were tons of fun! We ate lunch at Old Buck s Place by the pool and we had dinner at the Firewheel Cafe and I had the salmon (picture attached) and everything was delicious! Overall it was a beautiful resort with the level of quality and service you can expect from the Hyatt brand.

It is nice to be back again. This time during the regular season. There is a lot more activity and families running about.
My last stay during the off season was a bit Shining-esque with the lack of people and lots of maintenance work going on.
The place seems to be meticulously maintained and there was still some painting going on upon my arrival.
I was not able to get the same suite that I had last time but I still ended up with a Texas size king room that would easily be a suite in any other hotel. Another family could easily sleep in the walk in wardrobe/closet and the bathroom is as big as the main room.
I am looking forward to a pleasant stay and some lounging and floating to relax on the river run.

Came here for weekend work retreat. Buildings and grounds are beautiful, staff are all very friendly and professional. Food provided was delicious and they made sure to have a good variety. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Lots of fun activities too! Highly recommend.

While my husband and I were there to celebrate our anniversary for the 6th time, this is the first time we experienced any hitches in our plans. Everything was promptly handled by the resort and as usual the staff was more than accommodating!

The Firewheel Buffet and Lazy River are the best things about this resort. Rooms are pretty standard and the Wolf Dance golf course is very open and offers some scenic vistas of Hill Country.

Very nice resort and spa located in Austin, TX. Great for families, groups or special occasions. Has a small petting zoo with a potbelly pig coming soon! Reasonable prices with outside patio behind rooms. You have choice of rooms or suites. Major companies utilize this hotel for meetings. They are willing to negotiate depending on amount of people attending. I enjoyed the nature walks and trails on site as well as the golf
Course. Definitely recommended for those into nature and quiet atmospheres. A bar and two cafes are on site also. Has a pool table and ping pong table. Also offers s'mores by fire pit daily. Nice for honeymoon, anniversaries, and special occasions. Call reservations instead of just booking on Expedia, or other booking sites as you get a better offer. ENJOY!

This place is amazing! The service was superb, the facilities outstanding, and the food was great. We went on a random weekend, so it was not crowded, which really added to the overall atmosphere.

We were here for the Lead Forward Think Conference. We really like it here. We arrived late and we got upgraded. It's a beautiful place.
However, I didn't get good service from one of the older women in the Starbucks there. The short version of the story is that she looked past me to the woman behind me to give her service and later acted funny about my name.

Beautiful establishment! Staff was amazingly accommodating. I had a broken coffee maker in my room, so the staff gave me free Starbucks from the lobby. Everything was clean and the food was good. I would totally recommend this place to anyone!

Rooms are somewhat dated but staff is friendly and the pool area is relaxing. Lots of areas with shade. Lazy river goes around at a nice pace and is kid-friendly, although I would recommend bringing your own flotation devices if you don't want to use the provided tubes. They do have some without holes in the bottom, though, so even smaller children will be fine. At night they provide everything you need to make s'mores around the outdoor fire pit.

Nice resort with beautiful scenery. My only complaint is that it does feel a little dated. The shower needs a re-tile as do the elevators. The room was spacious and the staff was courteous. Lots of wildlife out in the evening & morning.

One of the best vacations my husband and I have ever gone on! We brought our 2 pups too. This resort got out of their way to take care of you! We built relationships with staff members during the 3 short days we were there. Next time we ll stay for a week! There is SO much to do at this resort!!!!

The resort is beautiful and upscale and the golf course is wonderful, located on the Colorado River, lovely enough and the options are varied, the restaurant looks delicious but I have not tasted it yet.
Suitable for weekends.

I live in Houston, TX. I passed by lost pine resort every time I go to Austin. I checked it out on line and saw so many good reviews. My husband I have been too busy to go. I decided to buy a package for one of my best employee's and his family for them to spend the weekend there. I purchased the package on price-line. I paid for the package that included daily breakfast which was clearly printed on the itinerary. However they were rudely turned on by the hotel stuff and they were told they had to pay for breakfast themselves. When they went to buy some sandwiches and asked the stuff if they could warm up the cold sandwiches, they were also turned down because the oven had been closed. What happened to all the good reviews on line about " how professional the hotel stuff are"????? I am so disappointed and feel bad for my employee and his family. Why were they were treated unfairly? Hope Lost Pine has the answer. Awful place.

The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines is amazing. They never cease to amaze me with thier high level of service and excellence. With so much to do on property, this is a great place for families who want amenities for adults and children alike. Relax on the lazy river, take a bike ride, have a massage, and making s'mores at night is just the tip of the iceburg.

Had the most wonderful time with family and grandchildren. The staff could of not been nicer.
Wonderful experience can hardly wait to go back...Not so far away but you feel you are in paradise.

Staff was very attentive. Housekeeping quickly brought us extra towels and pillows when requested. We had a small issue with our room shower, and maintenance was dispatched quickly, and resolved the issue. In all, service and room cleanliness was A+. Food at the breakfast buffet in the Firewheel Cafe was disappointing. 30.00 for floppy, greasy bacon and limited pastry choices seemed excessive. My husband did enjoy the omelet station. The beef medallions from room service was fantastic! Outdoor family activities were great. We loved riding the bikes! The Smores at the campfire each night were the highlight of every evening.

Secluded in the woods of East Austin. An incredible campus of activities. The staff is wonderful and customer service is the tops. Everything is insanely expensive but you are paying for high quality food and service, so it's worth it.

Checking in was quick. The room was real nice. We spent time at the pool area while we were there. Way to much time at the lazy river. We have been twice now and are looking forward to our next visit.

Great atmosphere. Little hiccups here and there, but the staff was great and the hotel left us a heartwarming surprise in our room for our 5 year anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again and we are going to be recommending this resort for our friends and family!
