Honeymooners stayed at the side lake view room, as if every room has a theme, the room is very beautiful and exquisite, sitting in a comfortable chair with her husband, drinking coffee and listening to music, going to the balcony to enjoy the scenery, I feel very happy The hotel is walking away from the old town of Luzern Recently, there is a big supermarket right behind the hotel. It is very convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Let's have a wonderful time in Luzern. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Very cozy and unplugged is awesome. Staff is very friendly but totally disorganized or inattentive. Sometimes you wait a long time for service and then you are completely overwhelmed. A coordinator would be good. Room very clean and nice.

We ate on the terrace, good service and decent food. A little loud from the traffic on the busy road it faces. Hotel has a beautiful lobby.

No way is this a five star hotel. 4 star at best. It's old and tired. Great facility for large groups; multiple events going on during our stay. Food is average. Rooms are nice, but beware of the shower water temperature changes. Ha! Service is very good, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you like the typical large tourist hotel.

This hotel is magnificent! The entire stay was amazing! This is our last night here, will most definitely come back to Lucerne and will look forward to staying here again! Everything was perfect, housekeeping five stars as well! Thank you to each and everyone who made this such a wonderful time for us! Perfect location, just perfect in every way!

Super ambience and excellent cuisine with very friendly staff

Excellent hotel overlooking the lake. An Indian restaurant near it and the metro at the second end of Khans minutes minutes of enjoyment and walking. Nice hotel staff. Of course there is no shattaf, the bathroom is with you. Its price is medium to expensive

We will always remember the wonderful stay we had in this hotel (room 50). In fact, we're already figuring out how soon we can return!

Super public viewing at the Schweierhof in Lucerne.

Absolutely sensational service with a fantastic ambience and of course a really very good quality of the food. Taking a breakfast there is not only very cheap but there is a time left you can really enjoy it and you have no pressure from any side and it is never overcrowded. A place that I have enjoyed regularly for years and can only recommend.

Old established hotel. Run by the same family for 150 years. Great, modern rooms. Each room tells a story of a previous overnight guest. (e.g. James Bond, Jose Carreras, but also unknown guests).

One wonders where the stars of this hotel come from?
Room 121 - view out into the concrete (on the advertising photos you can only see the blue sky and the beautiful lake), room size is quite small, dingy furnishings (probably from the 70s), extremely noisy (can listen to the staff in the hallway, how they hold the evening chat) and the windows to the outside are old and the noise has free "access" into the room. Other rooms may be better, but I'll never find out because there won't be another time.

I could post photos, but I think everyone knows what gray concrete looks like!

Wonderful impeccable and it is confusing the signage of the floors to be able to locate them is fatal.

This is a lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The fresh orchid arrangements throughout the hotel and mix of modern and traditional interior design make it a perfect oasis in this popular town.

We were staying at a different hotel, but had a fantastic afternoon here after a long day on Mt. Pilatus. The drinks were so refreshing and the environment was welcoming, elegant, yet relaxing.

Cozy place to stay. Bar, restaurant and room rooms highly recommended.

This was by far the best hotel experience over ever had. The friendliest staff, so warm and welcoming... they made us feel like we were visiting family.

Also the hotel itself is beautiful, spacious and clean rooms, great amenities, and the best location. We could walk to the train station but the sweet hotel staff offered to drive us so we wouldn t be rushed.

We can t wait to come back

Noble hotel and restaurant, nice building, friendly service.

Nice hotel with attention to detail. Service great at today's event blues brunch in Schwizerhof. Buffet was 80% good but a few foods could be processed better. Cold buffet better than warm buffet. Too dry fish and vegetables simple and also dry. You can cook better. Desserts of many small delicacies. The Zeugheersaal a beautiful corner but too tightly seated from table to table. By the way: toilet a must! All in all a round thing but for 5 stars it is not quite enough. As the saying goes - you can't please every guest, but you're on the right path, keep it up!

Nice hotel on the lake, best downtown location, the rooms are surprisingly quiet even facing the street, good view, nice, new bathrooms as far as our room was concerned.

The hotel is very well located, next to the train station, in the heart of the city. There are snack bars, markets and bars around. In addition, the hotel is extremely comfortable and well maintained.

The Hotel Schweizerhof is always worth a visit. The kitchen is simple and the ambience is magical, filling up like in a large castle.

Excellent 5* hotel with very nice friendly services

I went for an event, my son's graduation. The buffet is excellent.

I started my apprenticeship here many years ago and to this day I always enjoy coming back here as a guest. For me, the Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is a role model for hospitality and one of the best employers I've ever had. We went here for dinner today and as always it was superb. Great staff and great food. Thanks and see you next time

Great hotel with specious hotel rooms. It s close to everything and very luxury.

The hotel belongs to the city of Lucerne. Like the melon to the raw ham. The residents love the house. Nobody is afraid of thresholds. There is always something great going on.

We enjoyed a nice glass of wine and the service was very friendly.

Excellent place and attention. My stay was short but the hotel was very good.

Disappointment in the Hotel Schweizerhof, Lucerne
Unfortunately, 2 days / nights at the Hotel Schweizerhof in Lucerne were very disappointing.
At check-in there was no porter to take the luggage. Looked at dinner
the amuse bouche is more like dried out cat food and after the long-awaited one
Starter then waiting again for over an hour before the main course. Not a waiter
Informed us in between that the service and the kitchen were completely overloaded, but the demand on our part has shown that they are not prepared for such a capacity. Well, the question arises for us why not an adapted menu or
but occupy fewer rooms. The mise en place for a rush would have to be a
5-star hotel actually under control, unfortunately that was not the case.
On the 2nd evening a similar amuse bouche and the main course (Paillard de veau) was lukewarm to cold. Food that is too hot is unhealthy, but in this case you have overdone it.
Check out we waited about an hour for our car, which was parked by the porter beforehand. Apparently there was a number of misunderstandings and they were able to control the car
not found. A comparison on our part has the location of our car
could locate.
All in all ..... a very poor presentation of a 5-star hotel with a 3-star service at the higher Corona price. An experience that we will not repeat!

Magnificent hotel in a prime location. The reception when we arrived was perfect. The hotel is exquisite with old-world charm. Our upgraded room was gorgeous. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was wonderful and dinner was superb. We are looking forward to our next trip there!

We had a wonderful evening and the staff went to great lengths to exceed every expectation that I had.

Stopped for a quick drink. Very nice environment, good service, average prices (for the area). I'll be back again!
