The hotel has an authentic structure at the summit of the Alps. We used the restaurant section of the hotel. The variety of the menu is not very large. They prepared a menu with more than one meal for lunch. We chose the menu with soup - freshwater fish and rice. The menu is 19 Swiss francs per person. Delicious fish is a restaurant that can be preferred in the mountain region.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The staff is wonderful. Easy access to the major sites in Luzern while still in a relatively quiet area.

When you walked up the steps to the hotel, requests were made. Like in fairy tales. An ambience that astonishes, accompanied by a very friendly and courteous staff. The varied cuisine and many different events always make you happy to come back and dive for a short or long time.

Very satisfying stay. The staff is freindly and very helpful. The view from lqakeside rooms is exceptional. The breakfast can do with some variety. Location is the strongest point.

Delicous meal in the Restaurant Galeria. The service was very friendly and also tried to fullfill all wishes. We celebrated a birthday and were surprise with a small cake with a candle.
Special thanks to the chef, the food was phenomenal.

Very nice hotel with various rooms for different business occasions. Very fine cuisine. Friendly staff. Cozy ambience. Parking spaces nearby in a parking garage.

Unfortunately, due to the illness of a family member, we had to shorten our stay to 2 days, but we really enjoyed it in the historical hotel.
Our room was an upgraded suite with large windows and a small balcony with a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne, very spacious with a separate 2nd toilet and a separate small living room (?). The decor of the room was very good, even if the decor was not quite our taste. But taste is not an evaluation criterion and there is no deduction. The bathroom was also big enough and according to the standard. The only minor flaw was the 80X80cm small shower without a thermostatic mixer, this is no longer up-to-date for a hotel of this class and should receive a refit.

Breakfast was taken in a beautiful ancient dining room, you can also eat in a modern pavilion built in front of it. The breakfast was very rich and enriched according to the class with local specialties, e.g. B. a very good selection of cheese specialties from the area around Lucerne. Everything else that the heart desires was available or could be ordered (e.g. various kinds of egg dishes).

We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant, where we had an excellent five-course menu, which was created by the chef of the expedition ship Hanseatik. All courses were a pleasure for the eyes and the taste sensory. The wine accompaniment also harmonized perfectly and no savings were made when pouring.
The price-performance ratio surprised us very positively, since we assumed significantly higher prices in Switzerland. The really excellent 5-course menu was 147, -SF and the wine accompaniment 39, -SF.

On the second evening we dined in the Villa Schweizerhof belonging to the hotel, to which we were taken by the hotel shuttle. It was an extremely memorable evening, which I will rate on the restaurant website. Unfortunately it only gives 5 stars, the evening would have deserved more!

The entire hotel crew was very friendly, personal and gave the impression that they all enjoy their work. The service was excellent and attentive. We really felt very comfortable in this hotel and hope to be able to make up for the missed days at some point.

Good quality restaurant with reasonable prices, 54 fr the full menu (starter, main course, dessert) - price comparable to French-speaking Switzerland. Good presentation, beautiful dining room (gallery and pavilion). Everyone is welcome, no 'dress code'. No problem with children. Friendly and charming, multilingual service staff.

For further training / smaller congresses a great address atmosphere and great care. Walking distance to the train station.

One of the oldest and most beautiful hotels in Lucerne. The halls with the listed ceilings are beautiful and very well preserved.
