We booked the bridal suite for our wedding night. Upon arrival, the jacuzzi turned out to be no longer a jacuzzi. This is due to the fact that a new bottom has been placed so that the bubbles can no longer pass through. According to the reception, this floor had been installed by a professional company. However, this looked like a job well done. The new bottom had edges that were too sharp for a bath / jacuzzi. This is also the reason that we did not agree with this bridal suite. Also that there were stains on the decorative pillows that were on the bed.
On the basis of this story above, the receptionist has neatly given us another room and apologized.
The other room .. seemed good at first. But on closer inspection, we soon found out that the jacuzzi in this room was also not optimal. Several caps and the air outlet (bubble system) in the bottom were missing. And came across 3 hairs in this jacuzzi. We went back to the reception and told that we still do not agree with this room.
On the basis of this, I and my wife wanted a part of our money back.
We could get a maximum of 20 euros back.
We understand that you cannot cancel it on the day of arrival. But that we have received so little in return, I personally think it is quite bad. This is partly because the rooms do not comply as stated on the website.
This seriously ruined our wedding night which we were really looking forward to.
And no longer had the money to move to another hotel.
My advice to you is therefore also, if the rooms are no longer 100% good. Then clean it up well. Or mention it on the site.
People expect them to book the room they see on the site. And don't expect the stuff to be old and worn out.
