Very nice location, cozy, friendly, helpful and prompt service. We had a high tea but it seemed like a mini vacation. Relaxed for a moment.

Booked today 17 Sept for our 1st wedding anniversary. Had a late lunch today that tasted delicious. Dinner tonight and sleep in the bridal suite which is truly beautiful

Very nice and competent staff. We were warmly welcomed and checked in to the room with lots of clues. The tables in the restaurant were all stylishly set. Music in the background pleasant. Before the 6-course menu was served, we were twice asked about intolerances and food allergies. Also if there are food we do not like. Our menu was excellent. At the next table consideration was taken to the two daughters. The room was very comfortable and romantic. It draws a line through the house which is very harmonious and stylish. Small defects should not be exaggerated fair. In the room stood for the cozy part of the evening, champagne and salted peanuts. German-language TV program, but who watches TV with its own Jacuzzi? Right, we relaxed with candlelight and sparkling wine in the jacuzzi. The kingsize, soft ... we slept very well and got up rested without any problems. Breakfast buffet very plentiful. Free parking. All in one, a very nice, relaxing weekend that was worth the money. We would use it again at any time. A very special thanks to the young housemaid from Croatia. .. she has fulfilled our every wish with a lot of heart.

If you ever bother to find a nice place in this small Netherlands, you will find countless. Due to the limitation of the Corona, we found several options, including Landgoed Westerlee, quietly located in a beautiful location from which you can immediately start walking several walking routes. But the Estate itself with a beautiful history is also a wonderful place to stay, also in the attractive garden where you can quietly do your thing. It is highly recommended and therefore definitely worth a visit.

We were received very pleasantly and the restaurant is very tastefully and attractively decorated. The food was excellent and the service if possible even better. Definitely recommended and we are looking forward to the next time.

Good hotel completely unwind with the jacuzzi in the room it is completely complete

If you have a soft spot for the romantic, do not be annoyed that a broom would be needed here and there (eg on the balcony), if you want to slow down yourself (six-course meal takes three hours, in a fairly empty restaurant) Those who want to unwind in the double Jacuzzi, and then climb into the cozy bed, should visit the Landgoed Westerlee. The few staff, which can not be disturbed, is very friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable.

Peace and quiet in a beautiful building, in a beautiful location. The access road is hopeless and without lighting. My advice to the owner, do something about the access road, parking spaces and outside lighting.

From the outside not so pretty, the parking lot is a dirt road. Nicely decorated inside. The rooms are great, but could be a bit renovated. We had our own jacuzzi and in the evening a menu in the restaurant. Food was very good and delicious wine was there. All in all, for a short trip recommended.

As part of our honeymoon, we had booked a luxury room with jacuzzi for two nights as shown on the website.

After an initially good impression, it was unfortunately more and more disillusioned. The room was spacious and nice on the surface. But then we saw the little quirks here and there, most of which were certainly simply due to the years, but could still be eliminated with a little effort.
Unfortunately, the jacuzzi had roughened spots in the tub itself and the fittings were calcified.
The faucet in the bathroom kept dripping and unfortunately there was an ugly stain on the door frame that could (and should) have been removed when cleaning the room.
There was no kettle or coffee maker in the room. In this price range you can expect something like that nowadays, I think.
The bed was big and nice, but that doesn't help if the mattress is worn out - slept badly for two nights.
Unfortunately, the balcony of the room hadn't even been cleaned of leaves and the like.
At least there was a free safe and a minibar.

Unfortunately, the staff seemed only partially interested in our concerns when we pointed out the shortcomings (especially the lack of cleanliness) the next morning. It was noted down ... But nothing was changed. Not even the ugly stain has been removed.

But I also want to say something good. The evening meal in the brasserie was really excellent. The chef is doing the right thing here. The evening waiters are also very friendly, if a little inattentive now and then.

Breakfast is also plentiful and ok for the price. Everything tastes good.

Last but not least, I would like to praise the lady at the reception when we checked out: she actually took her work seriously and was genuinely shocked when we reported about the grievances that spoiled our stay. Unfortunately, no form of reparation was offered in any way.

All in all, it was a mediocre stay. Questionable whether we will come back again.

Location is beautiful, authentic and nice and quiet. The food is not disappointing, but there are many recurring elements. So just lack that little bit of expertise. The staff may also say where the products come from and dress more professionally. Though it is an old farmhouse and barn. Attractive;)

Just hotel. Rooms a bit noisy. Food more than fine! Beautiful rural setting.

From the outside a beautiful hotel. It started well. Well received and the room at first glance good. Once settled in the room, we noticed that there was a huge exhaust air from the shower drain. Trying to flush but it didn't go away. A lot could also be improved in terms of cleaning and finishing. Lots of cobwebs, wall tiles and some other things. The dinner looks all good, but the kitchen does not live up to that. When checking out we really had to convince the lady of the reception that payment had already been made. She only believed it by showing our bank statement. The administration can therefore also improve considerably. Whether we come back? I do not think so.

Beds and breakfast was good, room also neat and clean. Only no jacuzzi with colored lights from the photos. No coffee / tea facilities, toilet seat was loose and it was very noisy. The path to it was also full of potholes and 1 large mud pool because of it.

The food was very good. I myself had the game menu and it was delicious. Good service, not having to wait long for the food and a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The building is already old. In particular the room equipments. Man has the feeling that it was built in the 90 'and has not been refurbished since. Nevertheless, I give 5 stars, because the hotel has a flair like no other, staff is nice and the walls are full of super beautiful paintings. One has the feeling that one lives in a wonderful painting exhibition. If the rooms were renovated, I would give 7 stars.

Last weekend we stayed in this hotel. We really enjoyed it very much. On arrival we were upgraded to the bride's house. Because the room was not yet cleaned, we received coffee from the house. Half an hour later we were escorted to the cottage where we were given a tour. This tour was continued to the restaurant and the Mansion. Very nice to hear the history. The cottage was clean, very pleasant juccuzi. Food in the restaurant was very good and the high tea delicious. Friendly staff where everything is possible. Because of the sun we sat on our own terrace where the rooster and his chickens come to cuddle next to you, great. If you opt for very clean and sterile then you have to go to the big hotel chains. Here you are in the countryside where you can of course come across an occasional spider. Highly recommended!

Delicious dinner, the High tea offered is also highly recommended. And also hospitable to dogs!

Poor reception, we were redirected to the terrace and it was searching for that. No staff who helped us on our way. Then we had to go eat at a certain table because it happened to be already covered .. with a few questions we were allowed to sit at another table on the terrace. Furthermore, stiff service, dry meat and salty food .. No 4 star hospitality and the quality of the food is far below standard for the price that you pay.

All in all a nice rustic hotel. Geiler gigantic hot tub on every room. Cleanliness is not their strength. Renovate would not be bad either. Breakfast was something for everyone: fresh bread rolls Croissants freshly squeezed osaft, but unfortunately no change. Service after the first complaint super, at the second (leaking toilet hose) only a bucket to catch well. For celebrating u especially great times great. Great feral motifs for taking pictures

Lovely place to go as a couple. Jacuzzi is top, food is well arranged (also as a vegetarian and with corona measures), nice surroundings, clean room. Definitely recommended to get away from it all

nice place, which was only separate and very disappointing that the bill charged 7.50 for a carafe of water, and that VAT had to be paid separately on the entire bill.

Enjoyed our stay. Friendly welcome. Good service. Romantic room. Hot tub was large and beautiful. A lot of effort is put into making the stay unforgettable despite corona and this worked out well !!

A beautiful Hotel charming as a landgood from the past centuries while being equipped with modern facilities as a generous Sauna and Pool Area. We were very pleased of the friendly staff and the Lady of the house, who is fond of dogs and was very kind to our two. The breakfast was very good. We recommend this place without reservation.

Booked a high tea through Groupon. Stories what I read were variable, but on good luck these nevertheless booked. Reception was friendly, were with 2 other people in the large restaurant which gave little atmosphere. When the high tea was served immediately fell on many ready-made products. Very unfortunate because the homemade dishes were tasteful. What the groupon shows in the photos does not correspond to reality. If I had to pay 25 euros per person for this, I would feel very upset.

Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Bed a bit too soft but not a big deal. Pillows hard but you can easily do the other way around in the demolition. So had a great weekend in a nice environment.

Very nice hotel, in a sensational converted farm. There beautiful and rustic character. The spacious in-room Jacuzzi is also fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Not 5 stars as there were problems with the heating in our room. It was quite cold, especially our first night. The second day we got two heaters to raise the temperature, but were taken back in the evening.

Like other reviews, we also occasionally had a somewhat nasty sewer smell from the jacuzzi.

We were received very hospitable and were allowed to look around the building. It is a beautiful stately farmhouse beautifully renovated. Very atmospheric, we had a high tea, it looked beautiful and tasted great. The water for the tea was replenished several times. We enjoyed.

We had dinner there. Although it looked good on the website, it was very unkempt outside. And broken mat, weeds everywhere. The tables were clean and tidy but the terrace was not.

High tea offered by family. On November 4, 2018 to Westerlee. Two barking dogs welcomed us at the counter. Farm looks perfectly refurbished. We were not given a table, but a table. The Brabantia box with tea bags already occupied 1 third of the table. Then the petit fritters came on a shelf. The teapot was also added and two plates with napkins. Couldn't put all of them on the table. Put the tea box on the floor and alternately on your lap. The price 50 does not look like anything. You can order 2 schnitsels for this with 4 glasses of wine. A huge hangover. A sandwischje with salmon does not go with the tea either. After 2 cups of tea per person and a number of petit fronds, we had seen it. What a pity. A shame for that money, but yes, I think the farm must also be paid off !!!

Great hotel. Nothing wrong with that. We were there two nights.
Brilliant location. Recently restored in style. The room was spacious and high. With balcony and jacuzzi in the room. Nice luxury. Prosecco was ready. The surprise menu of our package was above expectations. Breakfast buffet extensive enough. Enough to see and experience in the wider area. Staff and service more than adequate. Not even made use of garden, sauna and swimming pool. If I have to mention a minus point: the beds were soft but that is also just what you are used to. I have not slept less about it.

As described by someone below, we have had the same experience with the high tea. How disappointing! Colorless whole of a few pieces of cake and a few mini sandwiches. Although the vegetarian was asked in advance whether there were any special dietary requirements, no account was taken. It was the scantiest high tea we have ever had in a boring atmosphere. The staff probably did not feel like it either and did not ask if we had tasted it or if we wanted anything. Didn't see the included coffee either. The whole was totally out of proportion to the price! Fortunately not paid full price, but unfortunately it was not worth the money.

Beautifully converted farmhouse. Voorhuis still breathes the atmosphere of 100 years ago. Neat room. We had a new jacuzzi in the bathroom. Top! Swimming pool and cozy terrace Outside. 3 course dinner was fine. Staff was super nice. Tip: A nice walking route of about an hour starts opposite the hotel.

Apple pie would be from apples from our own orchard, but turned out to be a wholesale frozen pie. Internet photos were with nice floral crockery. None of that too. Toilets were very neat and clean. Our comment was received with "price / quality ratio is good madam".

Too bad not anymore !! Spent 2 nights. The first night problem with boiler so wait for hot water. In the jacuzzi, a nasty sewer smell when bubbles / jets and black messes on, euhw. Quickly expanded and deo sprayed. Next morning sewage air in the bathroom again. This discussed at the desk. They first say that we cannot change rooms, because the hotel would be full. Looked at the site myself and turned out to be an available option. It was suddenly possible to switch. We were allowed to go to the bridal house. Beautiful there. Just a pity that the jacuzzi is damaged on the bottom, which feels annoying. Bubble 'caps' also let go. There is also something on it that causes a nighttime hum. It was quieter outside than inside.
I agreed with one employee to email the purchased groupons. He understood that the reservation with us did not go as planned (friend did not understand the reservation procedure and thought it was convenient to do through the hotel itself, don't do it; expensive !!). This employee said it was going to be arranged. The next day, despite our promise the previous day, we can still pay full pound and request our money back with groupon. I asked the employee to empathize with us as a customer, but he told me not to, very special! Just called the promising employee; not a single step could come our way. We came here a few times already, but this treatment keeps us from coming!

The bath should be filled with cold water on arrival and rinsed. We do this with every jacuzzi, and also with the bubbles at home in the bath.

Beautiful suites with a wonderful jacuzzi. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained. The bed was wonderful! Breakfast was tasty but not very diverse. Food in the restaurant was tasty too.

Bought a high tea of 50 euro. It was much less then you would expect for 50 euro's.

We had a surprise dinner on March 16 in the conservatory. The food was delicious, the cappuccino was unfortunately cold. Too little time spent whipping the warm milk.
The male service we found a bit arrogant, the female service was absolutely great. Cozy atmosphere in a special building. Just a pity that the driveway is a drama with pits, mud, etc. If you want to reach the restaurant with neat clothes and shoes, this is a challenge. Really do something about this. Furthermore, had a wonderful evening.
