I was very curious when I saw the photos. But we loved it. The hotel is lovingly furnished and exudes a certain charm.
The rooms are very warm as there is also underfloor heating.
The jacuzzi is very nice but also very loud.
We took scented candles and a nice bath with us.
The breakfast is good but you could offer something more such as Meat salad, Bressot cheese, smoked ham and so on.
It rained on our weekend and the parking lot was a mud hole, so we have to clean our car first.
The staff is very reserved but friendly.
We will definitely be back again because this hotel is something completely different.
Visiting Groningen is recommended, Winschoten seems to be dying out as almost 30% of the shops are empty.
