Room was clean and well laid out, however the lighting was dim and there was not much space to sit. Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast had a wide range and was very nice.

I forgot my cle de peau facial wash and a cheap feminine wash in the shower room, but they told me they can only find the feminine wash. I don t appreciate. the dishonesty of the housekeeping department .i left both items in the place, how come they can find the cheaper one. If there is an option for 0 star, I will definitely choose that.

From the concierge to reception to the suite to the spa to the morning breakfast - everything was spectacular. The staff were beyond helpful and made our stay lovely. They handled our dinner and spa reservations with ease, and our dinner was as fantastic as the hotel. Could not recommend the Le Germaine higher, unless you re talking about diamonds.

Beautiful hotel, with massive rooms, quality amenities, and great views. Better than most of the downtown chain hotels, if not a bit more on the pricy side. Definitely worth the extra cost imo.

This hotel was a absolute disappointment. They have changed from the Le Germain I remember!!

They no longer allow valet in the private lot on the middle of the hotel. Instead they are making guest drive around to the side door where there is nowhere to stop!!!

I asked to speak to the manager Lionel and he was completely rude and did not treat me with any respect.

I was there for an all day training seminar which included breakfast lunch and snacks. The food was all ready at the appropriate times and tasted AMA. They made sure that nothing ran out. Way to go! The staff I did interact with were very professional. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I will only stay at Le Germain Hotel from now on when visiting Calgary. The customer service was second to none; I was in town for my birthday and was treated extremely well. The rooms are well appointed, clean, and spacious. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond expectations. Thank you for an amazing weekend stay!

Another stay here. Unfortunately the hotel and Aeroplan do not have same story on included box breakfast, as we were told on check in that the fee would be $17 each, though our confirmation had it included . On checkout, we were offered the breakfast, but had already made alternate breakfast plans by that time. One other disappointment was that we were told parking was $12 on check in, but upon leaving had to pay $24. Apparently if you leave parade before 5am, it's only $12. We still like this hotel, but some inconsistencies this stay

Wonderful location with a very friendly staff awaiting you. Very posh styling and nice amenities. Lights were a tad tricky to figure out but great!

Very trendy hotel with great rooms and decor. However, it was a mixed bag with the staff. A few nice people but in general, pretty snobby. They made me feel like I was not up to their caliber of "cool" so I rushed to my room, glancing away in the other direction. I felt judged and uncomfortable despite the terrific design and facilities. I prefer the Fairmont Pallisner.

Cool and modern rooms. Corner room is super spacious, large bathroom, walk-in closet, separate shower, bathtub, 2 sinks. Quiet and comfortable. Large desk with view. Good breakfast.

Staff were professional and courteous. The room was spacious and well-appointed. Comfortable bed, large shower, and surprisingly, a mini-bar. Haven't seen one of those in a long time. Easy to check in and check out. Great location to explore downtown Calgary!

Sucks ass no fridge or microwave. The conceciger is world class. Actualy wonderful. Lack of amenities in the over priced euro trash rooms sucks

The shower and bathtub were amazing! And the bed was super comfy. Also, we had room service from the restaurant downstairs that was so tasty, and nice and fresh when delivered.

A great boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Calgary.

Very courteous staff and the room was huge and comfortable. The room and bathroom lighting was dim. Lots of food and tourist things around to do in the heart of dowtown.

I called to have some desserts left in the room for my wife who was traveling in from out of town. The concierge went out of their way to find some at a local bakery and get them put in her room with a nice note. They texted me a picture of the cupcakes/note and said it was a small token - they were happy not to charge me for them. Excellent service!

I ve stayed previously on business and have good rooms. On a recent visit they put me in a room that faces the alley. Disturbances throughout the evening. They offered a change to my room on my last night but it would have been inconvenient. Responsive to comment and have offered to make in my folio. Hey just didn t exceed my expectations to overcome the blunder to give me a small, poor location room. No electrical outlets next to the bed makes it challenging if you need a powered device next to you. Complementary breakfast is very good, with friendly staff. Their Toronto location is a favorite of my wife and I when we went a local, weekend getaway.

It's astounding that after spending a substantial amount of money weeks at a time in your hotel, our loyalty was repaid by unwarranted accusations, undignified treatment from upper management, and a complete lack of accountability and response from any members of the executives. Surely, our young family does not fit the criminal profile deserving of this mistreatment, especially having the police called on us in our room in front of our 2 year old daughter to kick us out and to cut our stay short. Why haven't we heard back from anyone on the executive team to our last email correspondence a week ago who can stand by the actions and decisions taken by their upper management team. No respect or common courtesy was given and not even an explanation to support the decisions taken by unprofessional upper management staff members. It's unfortunate that a family owned company falls so far from its #1 value of "respect" especially towards another family. It's almost comical that this was started by an innocent email from our family asking about a hand towel which launched an assault from the upper management team to reply with an unprofessional abrasive email which included accusations of criminal intent, threats of monetary penalties, forced removal from their property and a final management decision with no discussion. The only "criminal" activity that happened was that we felt that you acted like crooks who were only good at taking our money with a failure to provide a service equal to the amount you charge.

***BE WARNED that another crooked activity shown was their promise of the "complimentary breakfast". It should more accurately state "only one complimentary breakfast per room" as there's an extra hidden $30 charge per occupant for the same room type as you would stay in for a single occupant. This $30 is for them to cover their cost of offering each guest a "complimentary breakfast", which means that you're basically paying $30 for your complimentary breakfast.

Someone in the company executive team needs to own up and take responsibility for the actions taken and honour the values and ethics that the company claims to have for their guests.

When my wife and I arrived, we were told our booking wasn't in the system. We even had an email confirmation. They were never able to find our reservation, and we were forced to pay for a different room that wasn't want we originally wanted. After that however, the experience was more pleasant. Room was comfortable and clean, and all the employees we encountered were very warm and kind

Le Germain is a perfect example of what a hotel should be. It's always great to see a Canadian company exceed industry expectations - they've landed a return customer here!

We go to the spa here. Really nice staff, and the valet parking is covered when you have an appointment! Wish the bar was open in the afternoon!

Lovely room, the rain shower head was awesome. over all it was a great hotel stay....the bed left something to be desired. They did make up for it with adding extras to making our anniversary special.

Incredibly disappointing staff, there was no service to be found at the bar. After hunting down the concierge, he was of no help either. The lack of service was unexpected and jarring. Won t be coming back anytime soon. Thoroughly disappointed.

This classy boutique hotel has grown to be one of my favourite places to stay in the city at this price point. I enjoyed using the gym facilities and complimentary breakfast. The valet parking made it handy to explore downtown, service was unparalleled and the generous check-out policy was appreciated. Rooms were spacious and modern compared to some of the other hotels downtown.

This wasn't my first stay and certainly won't be my last.

My Wife and I stayed here this past weekend for a little reprieve from the kids. Quiet hassle free. Complementary breakfast was good variety and availability. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Not to mention that the huge rain shower head was great. I seldom find hotel beds comfortable, but very much enjoyed this one.... We will be back. Erwin the valet was GREAT, friendly and cheerful. (other than that we saw few staff)....management, if you read this... Erwin needs a raise or a bonus, hes a great smiling face for your hotel

Stayed here for 1 night. Great bed, loved the tv in the bathroom, the rain showerhead, and the roof top hot tub. Best value for money near the airport hands down! Will stay here again when in the area.

Top notch! We loved everything about this place. We came here for the first half of our wedding trip to Canada. Amazing view of downtown, and so many restaurants nearby within walking distance. Free wifi. Large tub. Spacious "rain/waterfall" type shower (tricky to use at first!) Nice amenities provided.. shower cap, lotion with oils, q-tips.. I used the shampoo as bubble bath and it worked wonderfully. It was also nice to be able to use Google Chromecast to stream from our phone to the tv (we watch a lot of online streams and Youtube videos). Amazing service. Any time we were leaving or entering the lobby, there was someone there to grab the door for you! The complimentary breakfast was nice too. Amazing coffee. Service with
a smile! There was yogurt, sausage (a little different from American though), cereal, granola, bread, eggs, OJ, grapefruit juice... A suggestion - add breakfast potatoes, and alternate between bacon and sausage. I highly recommend this place!
