Hotel Krallerhof Review

The hut jumping was worth seeing again, the mood was great and I will be there again on my next vacation

We have been coming to the Krallerhof for a few days a year for several years. Absolute relaxation for us every time.

The service there is terrific, the food and wines are of very high quality and the modern ambience is simply unique. A special highlight every time is the gala dinner on Sunday evening.

Unfortunately, a few days are not enough to take advantage of the wide range of activities offered by the Krallerhof and the surrounding area.

We might even come back a second time this autumn, otherwise we'll definitely see each other again next year!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay here. Everything was taken care of and we didn't miss anything.
The staff is very friendly, attentive and authentic.
The rooms are tasteful, clean and spacious.
Here you can relax and switch off in various ways.

Very nice modern-rustic Welnesshotel ... Starting point for numerous hikes including mountain travel with the Asitzbahn. Very good, varied food ... with totally friendly staff ... the rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated ... very dog-friendly ... will gladly come again

Unfriendly rude comment of a Mitt 50s at breakfast with black curly hair unfortunately has the grds. positive experience to the staff made to niece. In addition, one of two massage bookings at the same time were "worn out" at the SPA reception. Waited 10 minutes before treatment on the spot. Then it was 25 min wait. However, gentle handling.

Super nice and clean rooms. Everything available what you need. The spa is great and relaxing. The infusions in the sauna were really great and are to be recommended! The breakfast buffet is varied, the 5th course dinner was always delicious. Really friendly staff. I would definitely come back.

We recently visited the Hotel Krallerhof. On the positive side, good breakfast and delicious 5-course dinner, but some were certain dishes such as the cheese selection dry and the tomatoes were not fresh. Generally not the expectations corresponded to the service at the reception as well as the dinner. 20 minutes waiting at the reception until the responsible employee took care of our reservation. Incomplete information regarding the room rate. On request of the price for a double room for 2 adults were about 200 euros called without the information that this is the price per person otherwise we would have rejected it! At dinner the wrong menu and we sat for 20 minutes in front of empty glasses without anyone asking us if we would like to have a drink. Auserdem our TV did not work (after 1.5 hours then someone came). Generally nice hotel but especially the service was absolutely not the expectations in such a price range! The wellness area we can not say anything because not used.

Great hotel, although with mature architecture, but with very high quality equipment. A beautiful wellness area and indoor pool, as well as a nice bar area as well as a varied restaurant area with excellent food and specially fried beer.
Conclusion: I will gladly be a guest again in this hotel.

We were for a wellness trip in the Krallerhof and were absolutely thrilled. The staff always competent, friendly and attentive. We felt very well and could relax properly.

As you can see in the pictures there was a delicious dinner menu every day which left nothing to be desired. There was even the possibility of a healthy fitness menu.

The rooms are spacious and invite you to make yourself comfortable. But you have to notice the great view from the balcony.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the Krallerhof and will certainly come back.

Probably the best hotel in which I have been able to be a guest so far. The entire hotel team was incredibly attentive without undue care.
The people in the kitchen can be compared to the artists at Cirque du Soleil.
We will probably come back, not only because of the incredible black bread.

Room 339 wasn't worth the price. The mattresses were worn out!
Lunch was so-so!

Price performance is not right. Just overpriced. Room 339 was like that

It was wonderful. Great hotel with great wellness area. The lunch was ok, the dinner was exceptionally good. Employees always very friendly (esp. Reception), even if you - especially in the restaurant - clearly noticed who belonged to the regular guests and friends and who did not (extremely clearly with a waiter, but we were able to switch without problems). Early arrival and late departure were also easily possible. A great overall experience

Visiting the hotel since 1994 and am always consistently satisfied. The food is excellent and leaves almost nothing to be desired!
Rooms are chic and very clean! We were from 13.09. until 16.09.2020 there.
But unfortunately I have one point of criticism:
The dining room, in which dog owners are allowed to stay with their dogs, was with
about 23 people in the evening completely overcrowded !! And that in the CORONA time !! That is not how it works!!
The noise level was terribly loud!
And we weren't the only ones that bothered.
You'd have to think about something.
Otherwise the Krallerhof is absolutely recommendable!

TOP hotel in the immediate vicinity of the slopes. We spent 3 days in this beautiful hotel.
Top staff, from reception, service, kitchen to cleaning ladies.
Food: Breakfast and dinner more than TOP.
Rooms: Everything was very clean and, despite the cheapest room category, absolutely spacious.
All in all, you can only recommend this hotel with a clear conscience.
We will be back.

Nice Hotel with spacious rooms and perfect relaxing zone. Food is delicious and Bar with singers plus drinks is great.

Mei what should you write first? Top run hotel of the elevated category directly at the skiing area. Beautiful large and clinically clean, modern rooms, a stunning spa, good food, nice staff. Top recommendation. Drive for years. Tip: Do not grow further, otherwise you will be an impersonal bunker as at the Baltic Sea.

We stayed at the Krallerhof for the second time in autumn 2018. We booked through Jochen Schweizer.
From the booking to the arrival there was always reliable and friendly contact. Check-in was friendly and accommodating. Instead of being announced, the room was ready for occupancy not until 3 p.m., but at noon. Which surprised us very pleasantly. We could also use the lunch buffet.
The stay was fabulous through and through. The hotel is clean, modern and in a fantastic location. We'll be back for sure.

The Krallerhof is a perfect place for group travel, families and couples! We are here for the second time in a row. The food is very good, the breakfast buffet meets all requests, and the rooms are clean. Of course, a visit to the spa should not be missed, but you should not want to talk too much, because there are peace and retreat in the first place.

Was okay ! Regulation not well resolved during Corona in the wellness area. Saunas too small for the size of the hotel and the number of guests. Staff friendly. Spacious room

The best feel-good hotel in the world. I know some, they are more pompous, but the Krallerhof shows the attention to detail. And that convincing. There is so much to explore there.

Top staff, top house, great wellness area, great breakfast buffet; The only thing I could complain about, but that's subjective, are the hard mattresses (room 137) that I do not like. Others may like hard mattresses, so no point deduction

Everything was taken from us immediately and our suite was fantastic! A great house ... breakfast and the kitchen specialties a pure pleasure! Every wish was fulfilled during the entire stay! Thank you for being at home!

Maybe the Krallerhof is not cheap and some will shy away from it. I can only say a super day than five cheap. I visited my niece and felt like in a fairy tale. The boss personally inquired whether everything fits and we are satisfied. The whole house emanates a heartiness because you have to feel good. I'll be back for sure.

Just relaxing! Just relax with your dog and family. INGENIOUS: There is a dog shower outside. Animals observe one while hiking. Wellness area very soothing.

We were with you from Tuesday until today and wanted to thank you again. It was really very nice with you! The people in the service are extremely friendly, (without exception!) The room staff as well as the reception - actually everyone in the hotel!


The wellness area doesn't offer tons of activities for children either (no slide, no water fun) - an indoor pool as a family pool, that's it.
Wellbess area for the adults is quite ok, but not offered enough, manageable, but very nice in and of itself.
For me personally, however, unspectacular.
Otherwise, as already mentioned, the stay was really very nice! Also the room in the far view!

Big compliments to the evening service - you do your work great !!!!!

All in all: nice short vacation, but not for us for longer.

The rooms are simple. The dining room is also very simple. 2 staff are very friendly the rest is to my horror very bad. The orders were taken 3 times wrong and you will be treated very bad. The only good thing is the spa area.

A wellness hotel of the extra class. Staff very friendly, possibilities in the hotel very versatile. Best wellness area I have been to so far. Is a family business with lovely owners and you can tell that too. Gladly to recommend again

Great atmosphere, wellness, sport activities and relaxing

Always my pleasure. In June I tried very hard. Everything done to give a feeling of security. Unfortunately, we recently had a very different experience in Gosau ... so not everyone can like the Altenberger family.

The Krallerhof is getting old and requires a thorough renovation. The gloomy entrance area is oldfashioned. Wooden steps are clearly worn. no thanks

Were there 4 days before the partial renovation in 2018.
Very nice rooms. Everything very well maintained and with attention to detail. The wellness area with the various saunas and the massages are worth the higher price. We felt very comfortable with my wife.
The various 5 course menus in the evening + lavish salad buffet + nice cheese selection were of a good standard.
The feel-good factor is further increased by the fact that the family members of the Krallerhof have joined the guests every day. This created a pleasant atmosphere in a short time. You feel very welcome.
This is also supported by the fact that a large number of regular guests commute from all over DE and AUT.
The only drawback was the bar area in the evening (before the renovation). Music, atmosphere and cocktails couldn't keep up with the very high level of the Krallerhof. We are sure to convince ourselves personally whether it has gotten better after the renovation.

A first class 4 * hotel with a great kitchen, great leisure facilities and a very warm staff

One of our absolute favorite hotels! Everything fits!

We have been coming to the Krallerhof with the whole family for several years. And this year we enjoyed it again to the full.
At the beginning we were welcomed very friendly and refreshed with cool towels. After the luggage in the room was first on the beautiful terrace and lunch.

We enjoy that here like nowhere else: In the morning a great breakfast buffet, every day at least 3 different lunches, drinks (water, juices, coffee specialties) whenever you feel like it, cake and fruit in the afternoon and a delicious 5-course menu in the evening. Everything in the luxury board that lives up to its name.

Accommodation: we were in the color suites. Nice and spacious, great view and interesting for early risers is the good Nespresso machine. Unfortunately it was something with us ... but with the window open it worked again.

There is always something for the children: either jumping on the trampoline, outside the playground, with the LeoCard for free on the Asitz or the SinnesWelt at the middle station, playing tennis or simply riding a bike.

Wellness: The wellness area is of course very large and from 3 p.m. there are infusions. We mainly use the outdoor and indoor pool with the children. It is also nice that there is a family sauna by the swimming pool and pleasant water loungers.

An absolute highlight: there are 10 e-bikes to borrow free of charge (8 MTB and 2 City) which are really great. This makes it really fun to drive the 1200 meters up the Asitz even if you are not trained. We did that 3 times. I can only recommend it!


About the staff: everyone obviously feels very comfortable there. The mood fits you also like to talk to each other briefly. That's really nice and you feel more like staying with friends than in a hotel. It's always nice that the Altenberger family drop by for a chat.

We will be back next year as well.

What bothered me a lot, however, was the ignorance and inhospitableness of vegans.
Despite the confirmed registration as a vegan, I missed vegan food for several days, for lunch and dinner - and that in a 4-star superior! I shared this with the staff several times during my stay. When asked for my satisfaction upon check out and quoted what I just described, I received a half-hearted apology and honey.
