One of the loveliest hotel what I visited. The owners are so privacy quiet honest. The stuff incredible friendly and helpful they listen and try to make a unforgettable staying there for you. Nothing is impossible. You are like You come home. You feel in all its Family. I wish Karin Iris Nicole Nadja Billy Renate Guggi Luba....and New stuff the kitchen brigade who I was never meeting but they do really a good job Thank You: The old collection Theresa and SEN. Fam Berner, who will show you always the old good generation who was creating a Life for a wonderful future, and not last but least Gottfried and Christoph who do her Job really so good and are the future with their family and the Hotel. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Whilst we are still here I wanted to write how brilliant the staff, customer service and food is at this wonderful hotel. Good old fashioned attention to detail, pleasant attitude and intetest in their customers. Everything spotless and clean. Great value for money and all with spectacular scenery.

We are still here at the hotel and enjoying the last day of a half term skiing break. I would like to reiterate what others have said. Amazing hotel, the management and staff so friendly. Good great. Ski in and ski out. What more could you want.

FOUR STARS??? REALLY?? Dirty room carpets (not clear what from), out of date bathrooms (80's) FOOD is below any Austrian standard that I have ever experienced (and i have been to a lot of places in Austria)! For 30eur extra I will definitely got to a DIFFERENT resort... Lech am Arlberg!! skiing also is not the best in Zell.... sorry, but I am never coming back here again, and I am not sure why there are so many positive reviews...

The hotel is great.On arrival at about 9.00pm, we had a meal, while one of the owners took all of our bags to the room. We didn't have to lift a bag. I've been to lots of 4 star+ hotels and their service was not as good.Clean, friendly, relaxing. Good food. Not for party animals. 4 star because of the ski lift location (on a red/ black run)

Just back from a wonderful week at the Berner. Couldn t fault the place, great food, lovely welcoming staff, pleasant charming, traditional surroundings. Easy access to the slopes and a great heated pool & spa to relax in afterwards. Highly recommended.

Outstanding from start to finish! The staff were multilingual and extremely friendly and no request was ever a problem. The food was excellent with a good variety and all tasted excellent. The rooms were well laid out with fantastic views!

All cool. Friendly staff, beautiful place. The town church rings the bells at 7am and wakes the whole town up though.

In the hotel, in addition to the well-kept and elegant furnishings, you immediately notice the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. In addition to a small welcome drink, the owner even introduces himself to each guest here.

The location, as well as the facilities of the hotel is an absolute dream for every vacationer!

Another reason to recommend (in addition to the free cake buffet and underground car park) is the food: an optionally bookable 5-course menu for a ridiculous 11, - and to put it briefly: A DREAM !!
The Hotel Berner is a very nice and quiet hotel above the city of Zell am See.
One has a wonderful view of the Zeller See and is cut off from all noise.
The center and the pedestrian zone can be reached on foot in 5 minutes, the lake in 10 minutes.
The hotel has plenty of shopping opportunities in the area, as well as ski lifts, excursion options and leisure attractions.
The best tip is to take a vacation here, as in addition to this hotel you also get the Kaprun card included in the price, with which you can use all the surrounding attractions for free or at a greatly reduced price!

The hot tub is really good and its near the center also has a good lake view

Great service from the first minute you feel welcome and arrived on vacation! super nice staff which value on personality !!, well-kept house with good kitchen on the slopes! After skiing you can relax in the wellness area or swim in the heated outdoor pool and "splash"

Great hotel - staying there is like being made one of the family!

Immaculate well run hotel. Food copious and good quality - 6 course evening meals.
Sauna area needs a large sign saying adults only it was constantly overrun by kids.

WE WILL BE BACK ! - Our family had one of the most memorable holidays at Hotel Berner. Coming from Australia, we were recommend this hotel from friends and it definitely lived up to expectations. You feel welcome the moment your enter the hotel and that their priority is to ensure your stay is amazing. Firstly the owners and all staff - they are truly genuine, supportive and want to ensure your stay is perfect - including arranging surprise excursions and activities for your holiday, welcome drinks, organising transfers to airport, organising lift passes etc. They made everything easy for our stay. The hotel itself is in one of best locations at Zell Am See - being right at the base of the mountain you can literally ski right back to the hotel at end of the day and it also overlooks the centre of the old town which is just 3-4 minute easy walk away. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are a very high standard - including an outside heated pool and relaxing spa area. Finally the food and restaurant was excellent. Our family look forward to a return stay in the future. Thanks Christoph, Gottfried and Anita and your wonderful team.

Hotel owned by two brothers ... Family atmosphere, wonderful, professional, friendly employees and owners. Too clean.

The Hotel Berner is an insider tip for people who want to spend a few cozy days away from the hustle and bustle and yet close to the center ... this is a somewhat aging hotel without air conditioning in the rooms, but with a very, very friendly hotel staff and excellent cuisine ...

Very helpful staff. Great position. Room/suite excellent, perhaps needs a little modernisation, particularly the bathroom/toilet. Can't fault though.
