No news for months after the tickets were canceled, once the cancellation was made it was simply not possible to book a ticket again. One of the worst customer services ever, even after showing exceptional patience given the circumstances (several months ). First and last time with Hopper.

App has Technical Error on my price freeze, no one answers the App or phone, now the price freeze is gone, guessing this is how they make their $$ take your $44 without booking anything. Worst customer service ever. My advice use the app to check prices book through Expedia or the airline don t use these clowns!!

All signs point to Hopper having turned into a scam operation, which is a sad commentary for a concept that only a year ago enjoyed very favorable reviews. The fact there is no way to communicate with them makes the situation even more unconscionable. If there s any justice, Frederick Lalonde and company will pay a price for the disgraceful way they ve managed Hopper.

Thanks for nothing #Hopper! After spending several hours in communication with you regarding our December 2017 flights to/from St Martin in the Caribbean, you turn around and tell me that the flight is not cancelled so therefore it is not able to be refunded! I am not sure if you realize the island is FLATTENED! Our #Airbnb cancelled our reservation and gave us a full refund in lieu of accommodation not being in existence anymore within 10 minutes of contacting them and you tell us you cannot return our money? Are we supposed to fly into an island where we cannot stay and pitch a tent on the beach? Please use your common sense and realize this is a natural disaster. Now is not the time for tourists like us to be on the island putting more stress on non-existent services. We are not trying to get our way out of paying for a flight, we just simply want our money back so we can book a Christmas holiday. We are even happy to take Hopper flight credit. This is a joke! You call yourself a Travel Agent?

The way a business operates during crisis shows a lot. My flight has been cancelled by the airline, and hopper (who I booked through) has taken all phone numbers down, isn't responsive to messages and isn't responding to emails.
As a small business owner, I would never do this to my clients during a time of need. The airline will be sending the refund through hopper, but will I ever see this refund?

Hopper sold a flight from Chicago to Montreal to my daughter, a doctor treating Covid patients in Chicago. She hasn't been able to come home for a year.
Yesterday, United cancelled her flight less than a week before departure and won't help her because she bought from Hopper which cannot be reached.

Usually I love this company, however, I arrived at the airport for my flight only to find out that it was cancelled/never existed with no notice whatsoever. I had to pay $1,000+ for a last minute flight to get home and I have tried to contact them via the app, facebook, email, phone and have received no message whatsoever. So hopeful someone will respond so I can leave a much more positive review!

I fly 2-3 times per week for work and my first and last booking with Hopper is hands down the WORST FLIGHT EXPERIENCE I've ever had.

Unfortunately, Hopper provided me with the wrong booking reference and I missed the cutoff time for my flight while trying to figure out getting a boarding pass with the information Hopper gave me. No harm no foul, I just wanted to get on with the trip and was assured everything would be good on my flight home.

I bought another flight direct with WestJet and got my life figured out. When I showed up at the airport to fly home I found out I had been Hoppered again! They went ahead and cancelled my return flight without letting me know and I was stuck purchasing ANOTHER flight to get home.

Use Hopper at your own peril; I'd rather tab out my eye with a burning stick than book again with these bafoons. The airlines hate Hopper and do everything they can to screw you if you book with Hopper instead of directly and Hopper hates its customers and does nothing to stand up for you.

Total scam. No customer service to complain to, no way to get my covid-19 cancelled flight refund because they won t file it with the airline. Have filed an official complaint with the better business bureau.

The PayPal account it was sent was not the one i asked for it to be sent to plus I checked with PayPal about my refund and Hopper has not released it. I have tried endlessly to get my money back from Hopper and it has been a nightmare. No one ever gets to you on the chatbox if it s something of importance like receiving my refund back. Can someone please help me since no one is checking my messages on Hopper?

I booked a flight to Iceland fro around $1000 USD. I ended up having to cancel my flight because it was in March when COVID-19 was starting. I even canceled within their "Free Cancellation Period" but I still have yet to get my refund from them or hear from their Customer Support if that even exists. They are more like scam artists than a travel agency.

I first thought Hopper was cool - helped me find a solid deal for an Italy trip. That trip happened to fall right in the epicenter of Covid-19. The respectable AIRLINES involved gave me instant and FULL refunds, obviously, which we appreciated.

Hopper on the other hand - gave me absolutely no refund for their travel insurance , or cancel for any reason fees . Absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional, and plain wrong during a global and unprecedented pandemic that no one expected or could have ever predicted. Not to mention, they didn t respond to my customer support messages until 29 days after the trip was supposed to start, which provided no support whatsoever.

I m sure they ll be losing a literal TON of business after this, so rather then extend the length of this review, I ll just happily let them dig their own grave.

Do yourself a favor and go airline-direct.

Flights are canceled. The app doesn t even say it (shows that everything is normal). I paid for the assistance service, and there s no way I can reach out to someone. No chat support, no phone number. I asked a question on the get help section, and still didn t get any reply.

I do not recommence Hopper. Horrible service (basically, NO service at all).
