Local pharmacy. Not a big chain. I was excited that there was a local option since I moved here. Unfortunately I will not be using them.

When pharmacies sign up to take insurance they agree to accept a certain price for medication. Sometimes not often but like in my case they agreed with my insurance company to accept about $60 less then their cost. This is just the price of doing business in the pharmacy world. Most places take the loss because they do make money on other meds and items purchased while your at the store. In my case they told me that I would have to pay the $60 difference plus the co-pay of $30. So they wanted me to pay $90 for a script they signed a contract for to accept my co-pay. I declined to pay 3 times what I should because they signed up on a bad deal.

I do try and support local business whenever possible. I would have even paid $60 so they could have broke even on that script and they would have made money on my other 6 scripts. But for them to ask me to pay that much for 1 script was a little off-putting.

It's too bad too. They seemed like a nice place and I was dealing with the business manager so I just declined and moved on. Hopefully not too a big box store.

Staff is NOT friendly at all! When I was transferred from the automated system to speak to a live person, this lady that answered just had the nastiest attitude, very short & rude. Then 2 days later I had to leave out of town due to a death in the family, I called, spoke with a guy who was also short & rude, acted like I was being a bother when I asked if I could just a a few pills transferred to the town I was going to. Not once of "I'm sorry for you loss" or anything other than a can't help ya here kind of attitude. The ONLY reason they get a 2nd star is because 1 of the medications I receive is cheaper here & there's only 1 other place in town that carries it but honestly, I'll pay the little extra for better service.

Rude pharmacy tech. I work at Doctor's office and called in prescription and very unfriendly & then hung up on me after took prescription. Service above self!

I ve picked up a prescription here at least four or five times now. I m called when my Rx is ready and seen quickly! I liked browsing the aisles to see what else they had - quite a selection! Great quick stop for gifts or other health needs, too.

Great local family owned business. They are always super friendly and helpful.

As long as I live within fifty miles of Adams, they have my business.

Used them for over six months. The last three times I've waited hours for a prescription sent in from my Dr's office. Today the lady up front tried to give me someone else prescription twice while I was buying three of my four as they failed to mention the fourth wasn't in Stock. After seven times saying my full name explaining that was obviously not my prescription also considering the first name was completely different she finally stopped. I hate using big chains, but I also refuse to continue to use a rude small pharmacy.

I have never had anything but professional, helpful service at this pharmacy. Their prices are some of the best in town on prescriptions when you don't have insurance and they seem to be knowledgeable about everything they sell.

I was on vacation in Panama City Beach and needed supplies for my disabled brother in law, they had what I needed and it cost the same as it does at home.

Adams pharmacy is a great place! It is small,quiet and great shopping for unique items while you wait.It gives you that small,hometown feeling of an old fashioned drug store.

Rude employees. No one greeted me when I went in to shop for compression socks. Being new to the product, I was looking for some advice and assistance in selecting the products I needed. The employee on the floor was helping another customer, but never acknowledged me until she had to make her way over to the area where I was looking to retrieve something for her customer. She said she d be with me in a while but she was busy and then seemed annoyed when I told her what I was looking for. I left without anyone else speaking. When I see the commercials on TV advertising how friendly they are, it makes me wonder who they are referring to. I will never go there again and I will tell anyone who will listen to avoid this uninviting business.

Great Pharmacy with a very helpful staff. Never a problem getting meds. Unlike CVS who's delivery truck only comes on wednesdays Adams delivery truck comes everyday. That means litttle or no wait for meds. Its great that we in Bay Co. still have a Locally owned and operated pharmacy!

Great friendly knowledgeable staff. Way better than the chain pharmacies.

This is an amazing pharmacy. My family used them when I was growing up and now as an adult I drive out of my way to still go to them. They remember me and my family and always ask how everyone is doing. They are helpful and knowledgeable. Feels like a small town pharmacy and I love it so much and will continue to do business them!

Worst customer service ever! Waited for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. When
we finally recieved help, we were approached by a lady who was condescending and rude about what we were asking questions about. Would not recommend and definitely will never be back.

It's a bit of a drive if you live on the beach, but what amazing customer service. They were very informative and super helpful.

The small town feeling, and great staff! Help support your local economy! They took a good beating from Hurricane Michael, but they are back OPEN and business as usual as possible. They are in the process of refilling the over the counter stock, on the floor. But I believe they are completely stocked behind the counter.

Very knowledgeable staff that works hard to fill prescriptions fast and accurately, while maintaining that old fashion pharmacy feel. Here your treated like family not just a number like some of the big box chains. I would highly recommend Adams Pharmacy for all your pharmacy and healthcare needs.
