I would like to share my experience about repair service at Honda of Joliet.
Bought used 07 Honda Civic EX expecting years of trouble free service from car.
Got nasty surprise few months later when coolant started to leak from the engine.
Dropped car at the Honda of Joliet for inspection and day later received bad news that engine block is cracked but there`s recall from Honda for cracked engine blocks and it won t cost me anything.
It took longer to tear everything apart and put together than estimated, so they gave us loaner car in the middle of repair and few weeks later we received our car back. By this point can t complain about service-everything was OK.
Next morning when driving I got surprised that all steering wheel controls are gone. No cruise, no volume control etc. In addition when driving the car I could hear flapping, rattling noises from front right side.
I brought car back to dealership and brought my concerns to service clerk. Left it for inspection and later received call from dealership. Clock spring wires were broken during repair by their technician and they will fix it at no cost. For flapping noise they told it s a rubber stop on the hood and they adjusted it.
Day later got my car back. Steering wheel controls working but flapping noise follows me wherever I go. Put my car on jack and found out right side plastic shield under engine and bumper cover was not attached to the frame correctly. I also noticed grease squeezing out from axle CV boot.
Brought my car back to dealership again, asked to put car on the lift and pinpointed my findings. They reattached plastic shields correctly and offered free repair on the CV boot if I pay for part.
As axles had to be removed during engine repairs I refused to pay for anything.
This is when good Honda of Joliet service nosedived to the bottom and sparks started to fly between me and service manager. I brought my point that they didn t ever bother to check underneath for parts they removed and reinstalled during engine repair. I explained manager that for the boot I will try to call Honda Corporate as it was damaged during previous repair. Response from the manager was priceless-we are so great dealership with great star ratings that I don t care what you think. He said that he did not care that it was my second come back, that I showed his mechanic what s wrong and he offered me phone number for Honda s main office.
Honda Corporate told me, that Honda of Joliet is independent dealership and they can t force them to replace or do anything.
This is not the first time when I fixed my car at this location and had to come back because something was not done properly, however this time I was very disappointed by how they do not care.
In addition, other day I received call from Honda, for satisfactory survey. Lady on the other end was very surprised when I told that my last visit was not what I expected.
During the purchasing process of my 2018 Honda Accord, my experience went beyond one person..'Whenever I arrived at the dealership, I was directed to see salesman, Mr. Ken Laing. For the greater part of the day, Mr. Laing was engaged in completing massive stacks of paperwork. While it was a tedious and arduous day, Mr. Laing endured until, each document had been properly, executed and completed.
I would like to show my gratitude for his unyielding involvement in the purchasing process. At the close of the day, I was able to drive away with a new automobile.

Had a very friendly and professional experience at Joliet Honda with Chris Sem. He made the extra effort and even came in from his day off to show me some more of what they had to offer. The building was clean and they have a huge selection of vehicles available.
Two and a half hours to replace a battery!!!came in at 7:00 am when not busy at all, and had to pay $35 for that horrible service on top of that!
Bought our first Honda from Honda of Joliet over ten years ago and felt it was time to get a new vehicle even though ours had only 200,000 miles on it. We met with Dave Nemanik and told him that we were just there to get some preliminary numbers on a CRV both as a lease and outright purchase. Dave was very patient with us and explained the various options that we had available to us. Having done our homework we knew what a good price was for a new CRV and the number he came up with was a little better than what we anticipated. He then reviewed our '06 CRV and came up with a very respectable trade-in price. He gave us the numbers told us to go home and think about it and give him a call if we had any additional questions. We did call him, he was quick with a response and he came in on his day off to walk us through the purchase process. We then told him that with the no pressure and patience that he showed us that we have another vehicle with nearly 200,000 miles on it and will be in to talk with him in about six months about a second new vehicle. We were very pleased with our first experience with Honda of Joliet in '06, the subsequent years of service and especially with our latest vehicle purchase.
I have leased my last two vehicles from Honda of Joliet and I wouldn't have done it any differently. Both Brians helped me out tremendously! Definitely will be going back in the years to come. Thanks again guys!

Since I moved to Joliet from Oregon in 2010, I always bring my car to Honda Superstore of Joliet for oil change and other services for my Honda. This is the only place I could trust with my car and I know I always get great services from the people there, especially Fernando Pizano. He always work with me and was very patient with me and my hearing loss. You don't find that in a lot of sales people nowadays!!
I had a crack on my windshield one time and I e-mailed him, hoping I could find someone to replace my windshield and he arranged an appointment for me right before he leaves for his vacation. I was amazed!

Leased a car from here and when lease was ending went in to purchase the car. When you lease a car the buyout price is included. Since I put so few miles on it, the salesmen was really pushing me to get a new lease because the car value was higher than my buy price. I was there with a two year old and it took over 5 HOURS to finish there. The price was already in the contract and I still had to fight with them. Worst dealership ever.

I had a great experience here. Nelson Caban was my salesman and Harvey handled the financing. Both were straightforward, courteous and professional. They were patient, even when I was taking my time to think carefully about gap, extended warranty, etc. and were happy to answer all of my questions (I asked a ton and I was pretty difficult). I am very happy with the purchasing process and love my new Civic. When I'm in the market again I will be looking for both Nelson and Harvey.

I brought my 2005 Odyssey with 200K miles on it for airbag recall work yesterday. I do most of the maintenance on this vehicle myself and the van was running good on drop-off. When I picked the vehicle up and started to drive away I heard a loud thumping sound coming from he back of the of the van. I immediately pulled back into the dealership and explained what I heard. They got the service manager who basically told me (I'm paraphrasing here) that it was my problem. So I said to the manager, "I dropped it off running great & picked it up a day later with these problems but your service center had nothing to do with it?" Basically said yes that is correct. Worst experience I have ever had in a dealership and would never go back.
2 months ago my wife and I bought a pilot from Ted Turrisi. I ve been having issues with my phone pairing to the Bluetooth. Sure enough after one phone call to Ted, he cleared everything up for me. His knowledge and service is unbeatable!
John King was amazing! Answered all of my questions. I did not go home with a new vehicle on Saturday but was I am shopping around and even though I expressed that he still sat with me and answered all my questions. When I am ready I will be back! Terrible customer service, rude employees, clueless mechanics. They've broken two of our vehicles and have tried to charge us for the repairs every time. Still in the middle of a mess with them and it's been two years
This is the 9th vehicle I have purchased from Honda of Joliet. They realize that I could purchase a Honda from anywhere but always go out of their way to earn my continued business. My sales person Brian K. as always, treated me as family. He demonstrated excellent product knowledge and values my limited time as a professional.
Went in for Airbag recall. received my Ridgeline back with grease smudges on the windshield and scratches all over the steering wheel trim. Driver's airbag wasn't even seated correctly and fixed it myself.
Honda of Joliet is great. We purchased 2012 Honda Pilot. The sales person was Oren he was very helpful and easy to talk to. The buying process was exciting and easy. I'm changing my opinion about this place, when we were buying the car everybody was so nice and want to help but as soon as our foot was out the door nobody can answer my questions. They promised my coupons for oil change but never received them and now I have questions about my loan and they keep ignoring me. Definitely will never be a costumer at that place again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was courteous and honest, didn't try any of that typical funny business after we agreed to a price and helped my wife set up her phone in the CRV after I had to run to work. Harvey, the Finance person, was also kind and was not your typical pushy person with all of the dealer add on's like extended warranties or other type's of insurance. I never bought a vehicle here but I'm a fan of the parts department. When I needed a new key for my wheel locks one of the parts guys went out in the rain to find and test the right key for them. When I needed a new battery for my key they changed it without me asking, with no extra charge. Every time I buy an oil filter they tape the drain plug gasket to it so I don't lose it. They have always taken the little extra steps to give the best service possible.
What a great group of individuals working here. Everyone is so nice and professional.
