Joliet Honda is the best dealer around, they will do whatever it takes to earn your business. We were having difficulty with other dealerships trying to buy our Honda Odyssey and while other dealerships were firing away prices right and left. Sales Manager Missy took the time to break down the pricing an gave us the solid deal that we were looking for with their honest pricing. Once we got the pricing figured out she handed the sale off to this awesome salesman Hardy. He is the best salesman there is he went over all the features to ensure I was aware of each one and how to use the features. He also took the time to show us an elite model to ensure we were making the right purchase decision. While we were under a time crunch to get papers signed with our lil guy he did awesome job by maintaining control of our lil guy! Overall, I would say all my trust is with this dealership no hassel deals and would definitely recommend to a friend. I will make sure for future buys to always go to Joliet Honda Superstore!

Service department is nothing but a bunch of crooks... Book fake jobs to rack up hours... Do not go here unless it's some warranty work... Then they can only screw Honda... they'll try and take advantage of a young unknowing person..

This place knows how to take care of a customer. Always quick and urgent to offer a ride to where ever you want. They explain all their work in detail and give you pointers on how to extend the life of your car. Big shout out to Mark for being the nicest service rep I've ever dealt with.

A year later I'm back to upgrade our CRV to a Pilot. Big thumbs up to Luis and Linda.

Got Holiday wishes from Chris Sem, of coarse no apology or willingness to repair the damaged vehicle they sold me.

10/19/2020 Still no response.

They are not good people. They will tell you anything to get off the phone or get a car out the door. Then tell you to pound sand once it's time for them to deliver on a promise.

Trust them as far as you can throw a new car....

They have yet to respond to my calls. It's only been since June. I will keep leaving updates so other people can run and avoid the scam I fell into. Read the whole story below. Unethical and dishonest.

Original Story:
I live in Green Bay, called and spoke with John King, Sales Manager. We agreed on a price and based on the Car-fax, would have been a nice purchase. I get there on Saturday with a check for the amount we agreed on, John isn't there. No problem, I worked with Chris Sem.
Chris brought the car around, still wet from the car wash. I went on a test drive, everything was good. Went inside and did the paperwork. Brought the car out to deliver it to me and washed again. I thought it was odd at the time, assumed they were providing good customer service. Turns out when it's wet you can't see the damage they were trying to hide.
I get home to Green Bay and the following day I find that the vehicle was repaired and badly. Rear bumper was painted to cover holes that were poorly filled in. I called the dealership the next day and John King didn't contest the damage at all, his exact words were "You have a good eye". So, despite have spoken about the Car-fax, me having to sign the printed Car-fax stating there was no damage or accidents, the dealership was fine lying about it.
John said to get quotes for the repair as it wasn't reasonable to drive it to Joliet. I got quotes, sent them in and heard nothing. I called the following day; John King no longer works there. Should have seen that coming. Get a hold of another sales manager, Ash Ali. Ash said they would absolutely take care of the damage. I spoke with Chris Sem (sales guys) who told me they were going to do the right thing and pay for the repairs.
Then Javier is the new sales manager. The damage on the vehicle up to this point isn t up for dispute, the dealership acknowledged it. Javier s first reaction is to blame me, then told me to prove that it was there. Basically despite what Chris Sem told him, it was back to me proving it. I was a lying POS and it s him I have to beg on my knees to.
They did not and will not pay for the repairs. They offered for me to bring the car back. I sold my other car, I wasn't going to buy anything from them so I would have to have someone follow me from Green Bay (3.5 hours away), return the car for what I purchased it for (less the taxes) and drive home 3.5 hours for a total of no less than 8 hours and I am asking a friend to do this?
They knew about the damage, did what they could to disguise it, lied to my face - more accurately - 3 people lied to me and won't do anything about it.

Lie. Cheat. Steal.

Update number 2

As you can see Bob Wood responded, the new Internet Sales Manager, I called Bob. Bob spoke with me about the situation and seemed embarrassed, he told me he was going to speak with the owner and see what could get done. I even offered to pick up $500 of the repair, the total is $2,300.
Bob didn't call back. I left a message after two weeks and another after three weeks. Not even the courtesy to return the call.

Bob Wood, you even made someone else look worse than yourself here and it is the owner.

From the owner of The Honda Superstore Of Joliet, I am proud that I was able to screw someone over at their expense.

If you choose not to buy a guy from these guys, shoot me a note and let me know. If 2-3 people choose not to buy a car from them because of this, it's a break even. If more than that walk away based on their lack of morals, ethics and overall professionalism, then they are losing like it should be. Don't support people who are there to make all our lives worse.

I had a terrific experience working with Justin Magee and Kaitlyn Pickler at Honda Superstore of Joliet to buy a new 2016 Odyssey. They both talked me through the options carefully, explained the offers available, gave me best price, and made the whole process pretty painless. I did a lot of research in advance, and came in knowing what I wanted and what a fair price range would be. I felt respected and well treated, and even enjoyed the experience. After I purchased the car, Justin spent time helping me learn all the new features, setting up my preferences and followed up with phone calls answering my questions. We toured the service area and he went over my options there. The service people were great about installing some additional packages I wanted. Justin and Kaitlyn were great to work with and not once pushed on what they think I should buy. I would recommend EVERYONE to go to Honda of Joliet for their new Honda. Justin, Kaitlyn and the rest of the staff were helpful, friendly, and efficient and wanted me to be happy.

They are giving back a portion of what we spent on the fixes that weren't the fixes that we needed and fixed the real issue for us. My husband and I strongly commend Sales Associate Luis Segundo for his excellent customer service. He is congenial and knowledgeable; was readily accommodating to show all other car possibilities for us.

While waiting for delivery of our car
Luis was promptly responsive to our email follow up. We appreciate the loaner car during the wait.

We are somewhat technologically challenge so we also appreciate his cheerful patience in teaching us how to navigate the features in our new Hybrid. Luis also offered further help if necessary.

We are glad we decided to check out Honda of Joliet after checking several others.

Lied to from the start. Sold me a vehicle with a broken steering column, which then I had go pay to fix. After 1 year AC went out and durring the $150 "inspection" they discovered the compressor was bad (lie) took to my mechanic who put in a new $10 relay and it worked. Talked Honda Service and was told to being it back to "inspect" again to install a new comoressor. 7 days later the AC stopped working. Back to my mechanic and found out the O-ring was broken durring installation. If I was a smarter mand I would've stopped comming here a long time ago. Ripped off and lied to MULTIPLE times after promises to fix their mistakes(lie). I have never been so diguested at a dealership in my life

As always I received great service at Honda of Joliet. Today my tire popped and Tim in service got me in and out in no time! Also a huge shout out to Ted Turrisi my salesman he came to the rescue and put my spare on for me! (Thanks dad!) During these times Honda is taking every safety measure to make their employees and customers feel safe. Today I watched sales, service, cashiers and janitors all make sure the dealership was clean and they were following all guidelines. Thanks again to the entire Honda of Joliet team!

So much for buying an extended warranty and expecting the car to be repaired when there is an issue. Honda of Joliet wants $274 for a transmission flush before they address the issue of the 2015 Pilot having acceleration surges while driving.

Thank you Tim and Steve for trying to bilk some extra money out your customers before addressing the problem.

So before you purchase that Honda extended warranty, please don t assume that you are covered. LESSON LEARNED FOR ME !!
And because I didn t get the service done they wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee of $180.

When I called to see if any used trucks were on the lot, I spoke to Brian and he instantly emailed me what was available. My schedule during the week is very tight and the only day I could come in to look at the vehicle was on Brian's day off. Never the less, he agreed to come in that day to show me the truck and crunch the numbers. The dealership was swamped so Brian took his time showing me the vehicle and how to use all of the features. Worst customer experience I've ever had, gave my Honda Civic for first service, they did not change the oil at all, instead they DRAINED THE OIL and DID NOT PUT THE OIL TANK CAP I came back home and went to a party to find burnt smell in the cabin and the engine overheated. NEVER EVER am I going to buy a HONDA nor am I going to get my Honda serviced here.

I got to say that the best experiences I have ever had at a dealer were purchasing my two Honda vehicles. Today I bought a 2020 Honda Passport and my experience was flawless. I met with Chrisnah Sem the salesman a few days ago and despite the dealership not having the exact vehicle I wanted, Chris was able to locate the exact Passport I wanted and he made the arrangements to get it over to Honda of Joliet . I Got the car at a great price and Chris was so helpful in making sure I knew how to operate the vehicle and went through everything with me in detail. Other dealerships should take note of how impressive they are at Honda of Joliet and the experience they offer when purchasing a vehicle. We have now bought 2 cars here, and both buying experiences have been superb. However, we will not be bringing our vehicles in for oil changes again. After making an appointment, it took over an hour for my husband s car to even be looked at. For a simple oil change. Obviously we d prefer for our vehicles to be serviced at the dealership, but when our time is not respected it s just not worth it. I was understanding of the hour plus wait time when we brought my car in without an appointment, but apparently appointments mean nothing here.

No games, just straight business. Josh put customer service in front of everything, making sure that both my wife and I were comfortable with not only the car, but every facet of the transaction. Josh treated my daughter with focused respect and attention, and made her feel just as important to the transaction as he did us (the parents). He earned our business on both price and service. really bad experience with the service department here. they scratch the car and dont wanna take responsibility of it. my car was in the shop for almost a week and didnt fix the noise, instead they added more problem.
dont take your car for service in this dealership they will just charge more for something that is not even a problem.

Update: Came back for another oil change and Reid helped me to get the 65,000 mile minder package to keep my CR-V running right. Thanks again Reid! It was a bit more than the oil change that I came in for, but the preventative maintenance is key to keeping her for a long time.

I was looking for a used Honda for my son. I didn't like the car cales person who helped me. He was very friendly and willing to help in the BEGINNING, but after awhile he turned into a MEAN,PUSHY.N UNFRIENDLY sales person. I was interested in buying the car that I test drove (Honda Civic) but the sales guy turned me off. He(sales guy), told me he doesn't negotiate prices when I offered him about $500 less than what they were asking for a NOT CERTIFIED Honda. He was unwilling to negotiate n he was INTIMIDATING us with not letting us go. It REALLY PISSED ME OFF.... I will not go back there for now.
