Was hearing a VERY loud noise when I had my air conditioner on. A noise I have not heard before since I've bought it (about 7 months ago) My car is a 2016 so I got concerned. I brought it in to the service department and spoke with Charlie or Charles. He is VERY unprofessional & rude. He spoke to me like I was stupid and didn't know anything about vehicles or what MY car normally sounds like . he spoke very sarcastically and belittled me as I asked questions looking for an honest answer .
We went looking for Honda and talked to a few dealers, but Hardy Patel of Honda of Joliet, sat down and explained everything about the Honda CRV. He explained the options that were offered and printed it out for us to review. Well, he sold us and found the Color and Options that my wife wanted. During my years, I have bought a lot of cars and dealt with a lot of dealers and salespeople. Josh Tornabeni was hands down the best salesperson I have ever worked with. He acted quickly, professionally and pleasantly. I truly believe that it was more important to him that I was satisfied with the purchase experience then him earning his commission. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised on the high level of knowledge that he had on a brand new model and was pleased that he was able to get me a car in one day that other dealers indicated would take weeks. We recently purchased a 2019 Honda Odyssey at Honda of Joliet. We worked with Justin B. throughout the entire transaction. I bought my car from other dealership and my voice command prompt not working so I stop at honda of joliet and hardy help me out with pairing my device.
I had an alignment and tire rotation done on a Monday afternoon. I pulled into the service center and was immediately greeted by one of the employees. He promptly took me to get the paperwork signed releasing my car to then for service. He offered me a ride as a part of their courtesy shuttle. I declined and went inside to wait. Service was estimated to take about one and a half to 2 hours. I set the appointment knowing I had to be somewhere in 3 hours from my arrival time. What appeared to be one of the managers (and I wish I would have gotten her name!) came out to the lobby periodically to give the customers updates on their vehicles. She admitted there was a slight delay in servicing my car as they had gotten slightly backed up. I informed her of my appointment and she told me she would check to see what she could do. Shortly after we spoke she came back out and informed me they were able to loan me a shuttle vehicle (as my appointment was considerably far). I am very grateful to this service manager for taking my needs into consideration and finding a solution for my problem. I got to drive a 2016 Accord which is quite the upgrade from my 2016 base line Civic (which I love dearly!!) Overall it was a pleasant experience and the quality of the work was beyond satisfactory. The employees made sure to give me the print out of the alignment as I requested and answered all of my questions. I got a great value, too. Before getting the service done, I made sure to call around to get the pricing of local shops and Honda's price was unbeatable and more importantly reliable. I trust in my Honda dealership. Also I got a free car wash! :)
Leased a car for my son last week and the experience was great. This is the second car we've leased from this store in the last 5 months. There is one name you should ask for when you go to Honda of Joliet to pick out your super sweet new set of wheels, and that is Josh Tornabeni. I was interested in an Odyssey they had. I was worried about high payments since I had no credit or a cosigner. Josh went above and beyond and pulled through big time! Not only did he get me low payments, but he made me feel like I was talking to an old friend, not just another salesman. He seriously could not have been anymore awesome! I live in the Des Moines, Iowa area and purchased a new 2007 Odyssey EX-L at this dealership and had an outstanding purchasing experience. So when looking for a new 2018 Odyssey EX-L this was the first dealership I reached out to and they had the color combination I was looking for. I then reached out to other dealerships who had that color combination as well. I then received quotes from all those dealerships. Honda of Joliet had the best quote of all the dealerships. In all my contacts I interacted with Emily Schimpf, Customer Care Representative, Angela Polichemi, Director of Customer Care, and Jessica Dempsey, Director of Customer Care. All of my interactions with them could not have been better. They were all a pleasure to interact with, always answering my questions, and addressing any concerns I had in my search. Unfortunately, they soon sold out of the color combination we wanted, as we waited too long to purchase. The 2019's were also coming out so they gave us their best price which also beat all of the dealers I had contacted. However, we decided to go with a 2018 at another dealership as it was less money than the 2019 and the color combination we wanted. If price is important to you then I would contact Emily. She was right up front with a great price and she was not pushy in our interactions. Also, she has a great sense of humor. Angela and Jessica followed up to ensure all my needs were being met. I could not have had better interactions or a better experience. When looking to buy a Honda this is always the first place I contact. I don't know if your experience will be the same but that has been mine and I wish I had made my decision earlier so I could have purchased from them.

Good sales people. But questionable vehicle quality inspectors...
I recently bought my NEW Honda Insight EX 2019 at Honda of Joliet (4/2/19) with a good deal. The people I talked to are understable and not too pushy. They walk everything through being very honest and transparent with the different warranties/plans. They know where I was coming from.
However, I seriously question the quality inspection they do before handing the keys to the customer. I hadn't notice these defects until I reached home.
Do they really inspect the vehicles for any defects? Because if so, these minor defects should be in consideration too! I may be picky on these, but it makes me seriously question on the quality on the rest of my car!

For this instance: My gas door cover wouldn't close all the way and I could see why. They tried repairing it with a weak sticky adhesive glue, which didn't make the internal latches any more sturdy (see reference pictures).
I would maybe let these minor issues slide if it was a used vehicle. But what I bought was a new vehicle and these type of things are not acceptable. I paid in cash full up front and I expect better quality/inspection from these Honda vehicles.

I found the Honda dealer to be an amazing place with great sales consultants and managers. One of them was Tyler Baker. Tyler was incredibly kind and knowledge with vehicles. Tyler helped me narrow down my purchase of the 2017 Ford Focus Hatchback SE. He told me everything I needed to know and he was honest with me. I appreciate honesty. He was not pushy either. He was patient with me as well because this was my first time purchasing a vehicle by myself. I am use to having my parents with me. He helped me calm my nerves because I was nervous purchasing a vehicle by myself. I felt as if Tyler has become a good friend of mines. I would recommend him to others. I guarantee that you will have the same feeling as I do when you have him as a sales consultant. HE IS THE BEST!!!!!!! Much love to him. I will definitely go back to him if I would purchase another vehicle. He will not steer you in the wrong direction.
On Wednesday May 25 th, I leased a new 2016 Civic EX. I had a great experience working with Brian Krakowski, Starr in finance, and Shahera Boyd from internet sales. This is the third car I have leased from Brian. All three of the individuals made my experience non- stressful and I was out the door with my new car in only a few hours. Everyone at this dealership was fantastic! David Nemanek took such good care of us! Our daughter was so lucky to not be hurt or worse by a 106 lb weight that was propelled at her from a truck in front of her. Her 2015 Honda CR-V was totaled! From that moment on everyone was so wonderful to us! We made the decision to purchase a new car from Honda of Joliet because of their kindness and thoughtfulness! We live in Fenton, MO, and Honda of Joliet is 4 hrs away, yet our decision to buy from them proved to be an excellent one!
Came in to purchase a car on Veterans day. Mr Sem was fantastic dealing with my girlfriend and I. He did everything he can to make a car buying experience pain free and with great humor. Dealership including Mr Wise the sales general manager who was very accommodating and was willing to fix what i considered a issue with a side skirt being loose on the used car I just purchased. I bought a 2007 Acura and after leaving the dealership some check engine lights came on. I took the car back and expected to be told that it was my problem and that I bought it as is.(I did, it had NO WARRANTY) To my surprise thats not what I was told. They assured me to fix the car or refund my money in full. WOW!! They stood behind the car they sold me. I decided to have them fix the car and they did. They took the proper steps to fix the car right and warranty the work that was done. It was not a cheap fix either and they never once asked me to cover any cost. This was not ideal but I understand that in the real world things happen. Its really easy to look good when everything goes well. Its how you do business when things go wrong that make you!! Im not a big fish. Shoot I probably bought one of the cheapest cars on the lot but they took care of me!! I had a brand new loaner car until my car was fixed. In the end I got the quality car I bought and I am an EXTREMELY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!! I will buy more cars from them because I know they stand behind what they sell.!!! I recently purchased a 2016 Honda Accord Sport. I had been researching online for about a month so when I went in, I knew what I wanted. Justin met me in the lot to answer any questions I had. After I was satisfied with the test drive, I was ready to make the purchase. This is where the only downside of my experience took place. As with ANY dealership (I assume), it takes a long time to finalize the deal and get out on the road in my new Honda. It was offset by the best part of the experience though. There was a significant difference in Internet price and sticker price on the lot. Justin didn't hesitate when he said they would honor the lower internet price. I will recommend Honda of Joliet to Anyone looking for a new Honda. The staff was very helpful and courteous! Thank you all for a great experience!

I am one of "those customers"...I am picky and demanding. Most of the time I know more about the vehicle then the sales people do. I have been dealing with Shahera Boyd in the internet sales department and she gets a 10/10 from me. She really cares and wants to make you happy. All the prices she has quoted me have been very reasonable. I have dealt with the service dept a few times and they also get a 10/10 from me. I dealt with Angela Polchemi and she was great. I had to drop my husband's vehicle off at Thomas's Toyota's service dept for an oil change and it was night and day. I would prefer to deal with the Honda of Joliet's service dept any day ; )
This morning I brought my car if for the air bag recall on my 2010 Honda Accord. My service advisor Gray Calisti greeted me upon arrival and was very professional with me making sure I was completely satisfied! The work was completed ahead of schedule and I can't thank Gray enough for his outstanding service. There were issues with setting up this appointment and he apologized even though he didn't make the mistake. I will bring my car back here as long as he is here in the future. First time at this dealership for my 3rd Honda purchase. Our salesman was Ken. He was fantastic! Would recommend you ask for Ken if you're visiting this dealership and in the market for a new car. The only thing that really bothered us is that they made an initial offer on a deal, which we wanted to take, then they went back on their word and told us they made a mistake. This was the finance manager's fault, not our salesman Ken. They should have honored their initial deal, because it was their mistake. Wasn't a deal breaker but really frustrating when this happened as they came back to us with their "corrected offer" and it required an extra $500 down to honor THEIR mistake. Would recommend, but use caution and work with salesman Ken. Unsure if we'd be back just because they took back their initial deal citing a "mistake". We shouldn't have to pay for their mistake.

Justin Resto as my service advisor was very helpful and knowledgeable. My car is older and has had very little major repairs needed and these were handled by Honda of Joliet. The waiting room facilities are old fashioned and could use improvements compared to other regional Honda Service Centers
