I went to the service department this morning, after waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to see what I needed. When someone came I explained I thought I might have a bad wheel bearing, my warranty had just expired 300 miles ago and I wanted to get my van looked at to see if that's what it was and to get an estimate. The guy said without driving it or turning it on said that's probably what's it is I'll just give you an estimate. I guess I am a mechanic now and can diagnose problems. I do not have an extra almost $500 for that's "probably" the problem. I will not go here anymore for service.

The vehicle I purchased is great, minus a few things the dealership apparently deems not their responsibility. One of those is having customer service. I have purchased many cars, used and new and I will NEVER purchase or recommend anything from this dealership.
I purchased a vehicle at the end of June and it already needs 500 dollars in maintenance (which I'm told I'm not being ripped off on by the dealership). The 182 point inspection states it meets their standards, they just must not have good ones.
This vehicle should not have any issues and was purchased to go on a family vacation. I drove 8 hours from Overland Park, KS to buy this vehicle from them and take it out to on vacation. It has had maybe 2 thousand miles or 3 max put on it. Not enough to do damage. I'm appalled at the lack of care I received. If someone would have simply acted like they care, I wouldn't have taken such issue, but I'm sure this is my fault. I need to specifically ask when the last time the transmission fluid was changed or when a flash update was done. It's my error to have believed I was dealing with people who actually want repeat customer business.

If you are shopping around, on a specific Vehicle, and you are quoted a price, "out the door " make sure that That number is sent to you in a email. They tend to send the email with the Vehicle price and not the "out the door price ". I did get a acceptable price, but the Vehicle price was different from the phone conversation, and what I expected by the SALE TAX price!
What a tremendous experience and exemplary customer service! Sales associate Lisette Perez was a consummate professional and answered all of my many questions politely, honestly, and in such a way that clearly conveyed she possessed an in-depth knowledge of all the makes and models. My husband has a 2019 CR-V and I am so impressed with the safety features that I called The Honda Superstore of Joliet to find out how I could arrange a test drive during COVID and was greeted by Alexis Evjen, their Customer Care Specialist. I explained I had reviewed their inventory on line and wanted make an appointment to come in. Alexis asked all the right questions to help me narrow down my choice. She walked me through the process and gave me a firm price over the phone. I realized that I might actually be able to manage to make a purchase that day if I got a good trade in value for my 2016 HRV. When we arrived at the dealership we were warmly greeted by our Sales Rep Hardy Patel. Hardy made me feel so comfortable and safe. We were all masked up and Hardy had plenty of hand sanitizer on hand! When I had talked to Alexis on the phone I was able to narrow down my search so that Hardy had the "car of my dreams" ready for a test drive. I took a 2020 CR-V EX for a spin and the fact that they it was in the new hot color "Radiant Red" sealed the deal for me; I wanted that car! Hardy offered us a trade in amount that made it possible for me to drive my new car home the same day. I would highly recommend working with Hardy Patel. He was so kind and thoughtful and took care of everything for me. He set up my phone, and explained how to use all of my special features. Hardy even set up my radio with my favorite stations. Before I drove away, Hardy told me to enjoy my new car but that I should come back and see him if I had any questions or forgot how to use any of the great new features. My new car has so many features that weren't on my HR-V so Hardy realized I was overwhelmed so he suggested I drive it for a while and come back if my husband or I was unsure how to use a feature. He assured me that he would be happy to go through it with me again and told me he hopes to see me very soon because he wants me to feel comfortable in my new 2020 CR-V. David was informative concerning the numbers of buying verses leasing, allowed my husband and I the time to figure out the best approach to make a car purchase and there was absolutely no pressure on David's part to purchase the car. He took the time to move items from my car into the new car with care and concern that all items were accounted for and situated in the correct place. David has a wonderful manner in customer service. He continued to ask if I understood all the information and contacted me the next day to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I was in the market to buy a new vehicle. I was previously shopping Ford's and it just seemed to take for ever to get them motivated to buy one of their cars. I had a work friend that said to try Honda of Joliet and I did.
I also tried Honda of Naperville and they just didn't seem to want to sell a car as much as Joliet. We negotiated a deal within an hour, done. I had a new car. The paperwork seemed to drag out a little but it was still fast considering I was talking to Ford for weeks.

This was the best car buying experience I have had and I have bought a lot of cars. I purchased a 2 year old vehicle from Honda of Joliet. Everything from the minute I received the car was an issue. When I called to see if the vehicle was still on the lot before going out there; they let me know it was but it wasn't ready for purchase as it needed new headlight housings. OK no problem still went to test drive the vehicle and see if I wanted it. I wanted the car so they said they had to send it to Kia (Kia vehicle) to have the lights replaced, entire housing, but when they got it back they would let me know so I could get it. I get the vehicle a couple of days later. While driving at night I notice the lights are terrible. I call Honda who tell me to bring it to a Kia dealer near me and have them repair whatever the issue is, but send the invoice to Honda. I take it to Kia to find out Honda of Joliet actually never sent the vehicle to Kia to have it fixed to begin with. They spliced the wires and used duct tape and halogen (not proper lights for the car) and taped the wires together then duct taped the lights in place. Kia deemed the vehicle a hazard to drive as the halogen lights were too hot for this car and melting the duct tape causing risk for the vehicle to catch fire. Kia contacts Honda and lets them know the hazard with this vehicle. Honda pays the $1,200 for the lights to be properly repaired by Kia and they also pay for me to have a rental for the week, but they still sent me home with a janky repaired job that put me and family at great risk of fire. Then they messed up the title and I wasn't able to get the vehicle plated. They failed to send out the proper paper work for Power of Attorney on one of the two previous owners (husband and wife). That took another couple of days to get situated meanwhile putting my temp plate expired. Not only were these issues big and real, but then to actually get John Wise (store manager) on the phone is extremely difficult. Of course they keep telling you they are having phone problems, but how many phone problems can one business have before you fix the issue. The lack of customer service was terrible, then to completely create their own janky repairs was a whole other level of terrible. If it wasn't for Rich, my sales person I would have returned the vehicle and got a different one from somewhere else. Rich was a good sales person and when I was having trouble getting John Wise on the phone, every single time, I would email Rich and miraculously I would get in touch with John Wise. Rich was great. Honda of Joliet as a business is awful, awful, awful! I will never ever, ever go there again and I advise everyone to steer clear of this sideways place!
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Terry and Kurt to help us get our Honda Civic SI. We started our experience at Honda of Joliet with Terry, he was working with us to make sure we got the best possible deal and when we had to step out and do other stuff, Terry kept communicating with us via phone calls and text with information regarding the deal, and what they could do for us. When everything was done and said for when we went back later that afternoon to finalize everything, Terry was with another customer and he sent Kurt over to us to help us finish the whole process. We liked how Terry did that so that way we didn't have to sit around and wait for him to be finished. Also, we really appreciated how Kurt was out back helping clean our car so that we could be out quickly and weren't just sitting around. I really like how they came together as a team to help us. We are so impressed with the service we received at Honda of Joliet. We highly recommend this dealership and will definitely be referring people to see Terry and Kurt!

I had been to several dealers and all the salesmen I had spoke with seem to try and persuade me into something I wasn t interested in or just seemed kind of rude. I recommend them to anyone intrested in buying a new or used vehicle, I have bought my last 3 new vehicles 2 years apart a Civic then an Accord my last vehicle i purchased month ago . Its a CRV. The technology is awsome. The salesman Ted was awesome and managment worked diligently to get us the best price and finance rate available. Believe it or not the service Department is wonderful however I've only had to use them for routine maintenance .Since I have not any problems with my prior two cars.

Bought a car over the weekend went to a few places prior and had a few very difficult experiences no one seemed willing to work with me. I had a completely different experience at Honda of Joliet. Ken Laing Sr. introduced me at the door and we quickly looked over a few cars and went for a test drive. He was very humorous and made what can be kind of stressful very easy going. The best impression I got of Ken as I told him about my prior experiences was that he truly wanted to help me and he did. My mother and I stopped by Honda of Joliet a few days a go , to check out a civic . We were both new on shopping a round for a vehicle , so we didn t know much on what to ask or look for . Lucky for us we ran into Edie, who not only was very friendly but also patient . He made us feel welcome and not rush to buy anything ,as he was very clear on what are options were .
