From the beginning when I called Honda of Joliet inquiring about a Honda Accord, Angela polochemi was a great help. I have never called a dealership where you ask about a car and they say they could send pictures and information about the vehicle that your interested in. They is Angela..haha.Very respectful woman, and she put me in good hands with Ted Turrisi. Ted is one of the best, if not the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He not only tells you about the vehicle in detail and sells you the car your wanting but he makes a friend out of you and makes you feel comfortable while your there at Honda. Yes he is a car salesman and we all know it's commission based, but I can tell he is not out to rip you off. Yesterday my husband went to the dealership and worked with Ted Turrisi on trading in both of our cars for 2x brand new 2018 Honda's!! Ted worked with my husband every step of the way and made sure all points were covered. Very disappointing experience.
Contacted the dealership regarding a vehicle that was advertised online. The internet department contacted me twice by phone and four times via text and email, all within 12 hours.
The last telephone came at 8PM confirming by 9AM appt. the next morning. She assured me that vehicle would be upfront and ready for my inspection when they opened the next morning. Upon my arrival the next morning at 9AM I was told the vehicle was sold. I cannot be sure, but I believe the advertised vehicle never existed, and this was a ploy to lure me into the dealership.
Personally, I would caution people to avoid the ladies in the internet department all together. There are many other dealerships that use integrity as a foundation as opposed to deception
I will say the gentleman I dealt with TED was an ok guy, I had no issue with him at all. I rarely if ever write reviews online. If I don t like a business I just don t go back. However, had someone else wrote a review like this, I would have know to avoid this place at all cost.

We just purchased our fifth Honda, a 2019 CR-V, from Honda of Joliet on September 27, 2019. This is our 5th purchase of a Honda vehicle from this dealership over the past 15 years and our 5th positive experience with them as well.
When inquiring about our vehicle of interest, John Wise, General Sales Manager, kindly offered his help. He spent a lot of time providing us with information about the various CR-V's we were interested in. John then introduced us to Eddie Huerta who arranged test drives for us and ultimately became our sales person. Eddie was very friendly and courteous, which added to our positive experience. Both John and Eddie were very patient with us especially given all the questions we asked. They took the time to answer our questions and we never felt rushed during this process.
Eddie spent a lot of time with us going over the features in our new car and helped us with syncing our phones to the CR-V. He answered all of our questions and explained the operation of features in a way that could be easily understood. Both John and Eddie were instrumental in our decision to purchase this CR-V and their professionalism contributed to this being such a positive experience for us.
We also dealt with Harvey in Finance to solidify our purchase and he was friendly and showed a great deal of professionalism.
Aside from John Wise and his willingness to always want to help us, another factor that has kept us coming back to Honda of Joliet is the Service Department, particularly Dennis Finley, who is typically our Service Advisor. Dennis is very friendly, very knowledgeable and very personable, which is important for customers like us.
As mentioned earlier, this is our 5th Honda purchased from this particular dealership. In 2004 we purchased a 2004 Honda Civic Sedan. In 2005 we purchased a 2005 Honda Odyssey. In 2017 we purchased a Honda Civic Hatchback and in 2018 we purchased a Honda Pilot. All of these vehicles were purchased brand new and we had our 2004 Civic and 2005 Odyssey each for 13 years before we replaced them with the 2017 Civic and 2018 Pilot.
Through all five of these purchases over the past 15 years we have stayed with Honda of Joliet not only because of how professional and knowledgeable the staff are but also because were are treated with respect. We also like the honesty displayed by this dealership. We have spent a lot of money on these 5 vehicles at Honda of Joliet over the past 15 years and have done so because we feel we can trust this dealership. We also feel like they have treated us like family. Thank you to John and Eddie. We really like our new car.

When I asked him why the car I was looking at there was priced more than at another dealership he asked why didn't I just buy the car from them instead. Guess what Hardy? Dealt with this dealer years ago and had not been back for years. I was looking to sell my daughters accord and used the KBB app. I received a call in minutes and was impressed that Edgar wanted my trade and furthermore my business. We set up a time and Rachel called to confirm the appointment and vehicle we would like to see. We weren t intending to buy a vehicle at the beginning of the day!
We arrived and Rachel demonstrated a very knowledgeable command of the vehicle functions and explained all the improvements to the 2019 CRV. We were able to achieve an acceptable agreement. She was very good at updating us on the progress and listened to our concerns and request. She obviously enjoys her job.
Finally we got to finance! Never the high point in the car purchase cycle. Patrick made it a light, easy and dare I say painless process. He listened to our questions and concerns and answered more like a knowledgeable friend. No pressure, nothing without explanation!
Again, we hadn t planned on doing this today.....glad we did.

I recently bought a new car here and wanted to compliment Tony Tomei on doing a stellar job on discussing all the options and differences between several trims of the CR-V. He helped point out the new features, and took his time to answer all my questions.
Only complaint (why I didn't give it 5 stars) was that after agreeing on the trade-in price and and new car cost, I had to wait about 90 minutes in order to see the next available finance rep to start the paperwork.
I love my certified pre-owned Honda! Their new & used inventory was plentiful. Ken Laing knows his stuff. We walked the lot together, he knew everything about all the SUVs I considered. Took 2016 Civic in because air conditioning isn't working. I basically diagnosed it on the key drop envelope. Compressor is bad. They put it on the lift, looked at it for two minutes, then called to discuss. They wanted over $1600 to replace the A/C compressor on a 2016 car. A 2016!!! That is highway robbery! I told them forget it, no way, I'll come get my car. Guy told me on the phone it was $155 to diagnose it! That is their hourly rate. $155 an hour, WTH? THAT IS NAUSEATINGLY HIGH! Then when I get there to pick-up the car the bill is $165.56??? Once again, WTH?
THEY ARE A RIPOFF SHOP. Do not take your car there unless it is under warranty and it's free work. Bad dealership.

I normally don't do rating but my issue was solved and this dealership did what continental Honda didn't. It was to replace my rear wheel bearings. I brought it in after I explained my situation from what happened from one dealership to this one. And keep in mind i came in without a appointment. We went for a test drive and knew instantly what it was and fixed it in a timely matter. Overall everyone was very friendly along with the store being clean. I will be back to this place for any issue or even just a simple oil change. I drive a 2014 Honda accord sport.

Hardy was an excellent salesperson who goes beyond his occupation to help people out. He asked me my specific needs and what was best for me. Never did he try to convince me to do something that I didn t want or suggest. He went over all the little things such as finances, use of vehicle, and how to maintain the vehicle to make sure I get the most value out of it. I would recommend him to anyone out there. He is still helping me today after the purchase and I will go to him if I have any other questions or problems with the vehicle first.

Last week I leased my Honda Civic HB 2019from HoJo. This is my 4th car in the last 3 years, so I have experiences with multiple dealers both in the US and Canada. One thing I can certainly tell about this dealer is they are extremely transparent. Linda Soto from the internet sales team had sent me an e-quote. When I offered my number, Missy Korallus, the sales manager reached out to me, to negotiate my offer.
The most amazing part of the negotiation is the monthly lease they offer includes every possible fee you could think of... including, plates, registration, doc fees... Absolutely no surprises! If you are out in the market to lease a car, remember the dealer might quote a number on phone/chat and might present a very different number when you actually visit. I'm glad that my wife and I went all the way to Joliet, leaving 3 close-by dealers, to buy our civic.
At the dealership, we were greeted by the most amazing Hardy Patel, who kept our card ready at the parking lot even before we arrived. He went over the paperwork and showed us the nitty-gritty of all the features. Hardy was extremely courteous and patient to answer all our questions. Even after we got our keys and did the paperwork with the finance, Hardy let me test drive a Honda Passport, even when it was well past 10 PM. Even knowing that we wouldn't buy a second car immediately, he stayed back for us. In between, we had some amazing chat with Missy.

So I recently purchased a vehicle at the Honda of Joliet. I have to say that it was by far the best car buying experience that I have ever had. Like most people, I don't have the best credit and looking for a car that matches that is very difficult. Most car dealers just push me aside and pay me no attention.I spent the morning working with someone on live chat and then emailed a few times to Linda Soto. She was amazing and had a few options that I checked out on the website. I went in with about 2 hours until closing time on a pretty frigid night with a little snow starting to fall. My salesman Gerry greeted me kindly and asked me what I was looking for. I told him my credit situation and what I needed to be in to make a purchase. We sat down and went through the website for used cars. This is a great website that is always updating with the latest information on every car that they have in the lot. We decided on a few cars and then Gerry was on the hunt in their lot. He came back after a few minutes, freezing of course because he moved a few cars to get at the ones I wanted to look at. After test driving a few I decided on a 2009 Honda Civic EX. This was exactly the car I wanted to be in. He never showed me anything out of my price range and was completely upfront and honest about every aspect of the deal as we were working through it. With it being late , Gerry said he would call me back in the morning with what the possible deal was. It was even better then the initial numbers we came up with the night before. I went back in and met with Gerry and he put me in the office with Star, the finance manager. She was equally as amazing with her desk size tablet that I completed all the paperwork on. She walked me through the entire process and all the forms and here I am today the proud owner of a Honda from by far the best dealership. I would highly suggest anyone looking for a car to at least check out their website for the most up to date info and head on over and speak to Gerry.

It's been three months since I've purchased my 2019 Honda Odyssey.
