I had a great experience purchasing a 2019 HR-V through Brian Krakowski. They did not have the color and trim model I was looking for on the lot, and Brian did everything in his power to make sure the car was ready for pickup. After finishing up the paperwork, he was very thorough with explain the new electronic features of the car like changing the colors on the dashboard, setting Bluetooth, and Android Auto. All in all, I was very pleased with my experience with Honda of Joliet and definitely recommend their services.

As a self proclaimed "cheap-o," I will tell you that I shopped around for my Honda for well over a month! I searched dealerships within a 100 mile radius. I compared more than pricing...as I searched for a dealership that I felt was accommodating, honest and straightforward regarding my major purchase.
I contacted all dealers via Internet sales first. Shahera was the only rep who was quick to every inquiry I had for my purchase. Some of the dealers are just now responding to my previous inquiries from last week! Shahera was straight with me, and filled me in on my purchase while meeting my goals for my business. When I was in doubt, the GM, John, reassured me that he was there as well if I felt I was being steered wrong and guaranteed honest business.
With just a few emails and phone calls, I felt comfortable Honda of Joliet and pursued them for my deal.
Jacob was my salesman, and he made the process easy and explained the details completely and assisted me beyond the sale. Bob, in the service/accessories department was great too! No pressure information given to me about extras and protection packages. Financing explained all options, with no hassles either. I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process and I feel confident that Honda of Joliet will continue giving me and my new Civic the attention we deserve!

He took the time to explain all options and was truly interested in what I wanted in a car. I bought a 2018 CRV which I love. Buying a car from Brian was hassle free. Managers were good too. No funny bussines. Can't say same about service department. They recommended rear brakes. I choose to do front brakes only. Went to other dealer, they said rear brakes are not even close to replacement. You kind of have to use your own instinct and not to buy things right away. Service shops will try sell things you don't need and seems like this one is one of them too.

First the good things - i was offered a good deal, i must also say that I had done enough research as far as the out the door price goes!
Now the reasons why i rated it a 1 star -
I was cheated on the extended warranty! Yes, the finance manager literally lied through her teeth... In spite of exclusively asking for an extended that Honda provides, she tricked me into buying something called Advantage by a group called protective advantage protection. She cheated me saying it was from honda and it was for an exorbitant price ($2000). Thanks to my stupidity! After a week or so, I received the contract details from advantage and I did some googling and understood how I was taken for a ride.
The warranty from Honda is called Honda Care and is available at every honda dealership. You just have to exclusively mention the golden words 'Honda Care' or else they pretend to be naive!! Here comes the best part, the price is negotiable as well. I was able to get a good deal from another dealership for $950.
I called up honda of juliet wanting to cancel the warranty and the lady in the finance department said she would get back to me in 1 business day. No surprise I never got a call. It took me a week's time to get hold of her again and was able to get it canceled. It took another 7 weeks for me to get my money back less the administrative fees of $35.
Went in with my cousin. Ken Lang took care of him rite away and worked with him until he was able to come to an agreement to purchase the car. Didn t spend too much time either. Very professional as well.

On Wednesday May 25 th, I leased a new 2016 CRV. I had a wonderful experience working with Brian Krakowski, Starr in Finance, and Shahera Boyd from internet sales. Justin McGee is on the sales floor was very Deceiving I bought a 2013 dodge ram 1500 Was damage on the back end above the bumper and I didn't notice it when I purchase the vehicle I tried to call back to see if they could fix and he said you signed before anything was brought to my attention and said there's nothing we can do about it sad when you spend over 20000 and they can't be the least bit helpful was going have My girlfriend purchase her next vehicle here because I had a good experience before I noticed the damage there absolutely no chance now. I thought I had posted this a couple of months ago, but it looks like it didn't go through so I am going to post again. We had such an amazing experience. Our sales representative, Mike Poulos, was outstanding. We came in for our scheduled oil change for our 2017 Honda CRV and left with a 2019 Honda Passport. We had no intentions of buying a new car that day, but after talking to Mike, and hearing about all the new features on the Passport, he gave us a deal we could not pass up. There was no pressure to buy and he spent quality time with us in reviewing all the benefits of the Passport. We really liked our CRV and it was a great car, but we love the Passport. I've been to Honda of Joliet before to buy a car but my recent visit was the most smooth transaction we did. Big thanks to the sales guy Rich Polunka who is very attentive and listens to customer's needs. He is not the type of sales guy who tells you "we can't do that or that is not possible". When I ask something he replies to me "I'll see what I can do or I'll ask my Sales Manager ". He is not a pushy type of sales guy. Thanks to the Sales Manager too Ash who accomodated our request . I have my go to sales guy now when go back again.
Hardy Patel helped us Friday 7/24 and he was the best! He was so patient with us while my husband was trying to decide between a Civic or an Accord. We test drove several cars before coming to a decision and we didn t feel rushed or pressured. He is very patient, kind, and honest. Before leaving, Justin Bazan went over all the bells and whistles and did a fantastic job! Spent as much time as I needed and was extremely helpful. Why I continue to come here is beyond me. I was told an oil change and rotation would take an hour. An hour and 45 minutes later I am still waiting. When I was shopping for a new Pilot and Odyssey it was surprising that the sister store in Lisle was able to give a better deal, had a much bigger inventory and by far had more knowledgeable and courteous staff members. This dealership needs to get trained by the folks in Lisle.

I started over at Honda of Naperville. I had a bad experience, but knew I was set on getting the Accord Sport. I E-mailed the Honda of Joliet and my wonderful experience started there. When I had got there it was set. Ted was my salesman and was extraordinary. Very informational and knew everything I had a question about. Jennifer Medina and Roy Hollaway were helpful in purchasing my 2016 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/ RES. The Joliet dealer is not the closest to my house, but Jennifer's quick response to my request for an internet quote and responses to my follow-up emails are what brought me into the dealership. The negotiating process was much faster after having that information. The sales manager there at the time I purchased (don't know his name) was reasonable with my trade-in value, and all in all, the process was a lot faster than the last time I bought a car at a different Honda dealership.

On April 4, 2019, I went to Honda of Joliet to ask for help because my only car key was damage and desperately needed a new one. Dennis not only helped to get a new key very quickly, but also explained very patiently and in detail the way the programing for my car key was supposed to be done. He walked me very graciously thought the steps I needed to take at home. He gave me a printout of the steps that my husband followed and completed them less that 3 minutes!
