I purchased a certified pre-owned (CPO) CRV here b...

I purchased a certified pre-owned (CPO) CRV here because they have no haggle pricing and customer service was also good. 14 months later I wanted to upgrade my car and went to Carmax to get the CRV appraised - the appraiser said that the car was in a major accident and has severe frame damage. I couldn t believe it and showed him the CPO certification issued by Manchester Honda which clearly states that there was no accident or frame damage. The Carmax appraiser couldn t believe it and showed the damage, 2 right doors were replacement parts and put that in writing.

I then contacted Manchester Honda, they didn t even deny it once and offered me $2000. A frame damaged car is a serious risk and it is illegal to sell such cars without disclosing because of the associated risk. These guys put me and my family at risk and then we re ready to settle it. I contacted the attorney generals office and made them take my car back and give me money back in full. I had also contacted an attorney who was ready to fight my case and get me a bigger settlement, however I had moved to Chicago and didn t want to deal with the court procedure, so settled for the dealer the take the car back and pay my money back. They picked up the car from my home in Chicago and payed the full amount back.

I don t want another family at risk due to greedy dealerships and their practices of selling cars with frame damage without disclosing it, for a premium price (CPO cars are about $2,000 more than comparable car without certification), hence leaving this review.

Be aware of this dealership, make sure you get in writing that your cars frame is not damaged. Lastly, don t trust Carfax - I bought this car in May and the accident was only reported in July. Carfax is only as good as the data reported to them and if the accident or damage is not reported, it won t appear on the Carfax report.

Adding comments to owner response: How can a trained Manchester Honda technician miss such a major damage body and frame damage and replaced parts two right doors? These issues were found by another technician in a 15-min inspection and he even walked me through the damage BEFORE verifying the Carfax report. For everyone s knowledge, a replaced door will have the sticker shown in the image below staring with letter R , it isn t rocket science it is just basic knowledge for a trained technician.
Yes, I signed the Carfax report but the Carfax report was not correct, I don t trust it anymore and that is not my point I have already noted that in my review. Yes, I also checked the car at the time of purchase I am not a trained technician and I didn t do the 182 point inspection to certify the car, your technician did . Or maybe not? And certified the car. I trusted your firm based on the reviews which I shouldn t have which is why I wrote this review and I am glad I did.
You made a mistake, in my case a BIG one by missing such a HUGE damage and certifying a frame damaged car and refunding in full is the least you could have done and you did. I appreciate that but that didn t fix THE problem, it only solved my problem before anything unforeseen happened to me and my family. I am sure you are aware of the risks of frame damaged cars which is why it is a legal requirement for dealerships to disclose. If you want your customers to be the ones to figure out the frame damage so be it, everyone knows that now from my review.

I worked with PJ on finding the right car for me. He was a great sales representative and did not push back on my personal/financial criteria. He worked with my budget and provide a variety of cars for me to look at and test drive. He was patient through the entire process and was determined to find the right car for me. Additionally, he made the closing process super easy. After driving off the lot, PJ followed up to ensure I was happy with my purchase. He even answered a handful of questions/concerns I had in regards to my vehicle - particularly what certain lights that displayed on my dashboard. My car was missing the key to the remove the tire and the owners manual. PJ had promised to mail these items upon receiving.

Our salesperson Abdul was truly exceptional. If you want someone who truly listens to what you want he is the person to go see. We had been to many dealerships and a high percentage never actually acknowledged our kids even though they were the reason we were looking at minivan. Abdul accommodated all of us. Kids loved the popcorn and the kids room occupied them for hours. Abdul kept us in the loop throughout the whole process and made us laugh the entire time. We ended falling in love with not just our new minivan but with Abdul as well. If your ever looking for a car this should be the first person you talk to.

Manchester Honda has policies in place that incentivize customer-centered sales practices and standing behind the quality of their vehicles. I worked with Jack. He we respectful, supportive, and responsive. I never felt pressured, disrespected (which is common for me as a female buyer), or uninformed. On the contrary, I actually had a lot of fun. I would absolutely buy from Manchester Honda again. I would also strongly suggest them to other buyers, especially women.

After losing my previous car in a crash, I had been searching high and low for a 2016-17 Honda Accord Coupe, with a V6 engine & 6-speed manual. They are very, very hard to come by so my choices were fairly limited. Luckily for me, Manchester Honda happened to have one and was only about a 1.5-2 hour drive from where I live. I requested they send me detailed pictures of each and every little blemish on the car they could find, which Kevin Battista did very well and thoroughly. The car was very clean and clearly well taken care of. So I made the drive, and worked with Salesman Erik Nielsen, who was fantastic every step of the way from the test drive to the delivery. He explained the whole process thoroughly and made purchasing this car from out of state a breeze. I didn t even have to go to the rmv in my state to register it, the dealer did it all for me. The car is smooth, powerful, refined, and my wife and I are extremely satisfied with it. Next time we re in the market for a Honda, Manchester Honda will probably the first place we look, even though it s in another state.

I went in for the first time interested on a vehicle and the had a bad experience with the salesman. Then I went back because I was very interested in the vehicle and I told the receptionist to direct me with a different salesman and I was introduced by to Mark Allen which was able to answer me all my questions and customer service top notch!! Also the receptionist very nice and couldn t ask for more. Very easy going on the paperwork and knowledgeable of every form that I signed. Manchester Honda very fortunate to have mark Allen on board. I will come back there on my next purchase.

Worst customer care.
I was a newbie here and went there to buy a car within my budget. I visited the store having appointment at 3:00 PM and i was left unattended for 45 mins. I looked around the people who came after me and they were taken care of on time as soon as they came in. I was asked that someone would be attending soon. After 30 mins.. I followed up with the Customer Care and she (donot remember name) gave a blunt answer to my question "I have another appointment, is anyone coming to attend?" that "if you want to stay you can stay or else leave".. I had to leave after 45mins of nobody to attend.. People are so careless and sometimes I felt this store much racist.. I wish I could give 0 star for this store.

I can in late in the afternoon on a whim. While waiting for someone to assist me, they brought out a car for me to look at and sit in. Bought the car the next day!

Issue i had, i was driving by dealership so i called main line and got to service receptionist, i asked about the status of my car, she said that i needed to speak to my service specialist, who was on phone at the time, i said i would call back. I got home 45 minutes later, around noonish, and on my answering machine was a message stating that my car was ready at 10am. 45 minutes drive back to dealership to get car. It seems that there is a communication issue somewhere. Oh well, still a great place.

3 years ago I bought a new car here from Ralph and ever since then I've been part of "the Manchester Honda family." Car buying wise I was not pressured, the sales reps are nice/well informed, and they offer a large selection of both new and used vehicles. In my experience their new car prices are great, but their used car prices can be a tiny bit high. Everything is also no hassle pricing (aka you either say yes or no to the deal). This said what really makes them one of the best dealerships ever is their service department. Matt Denis and Ashley in particular are my favorite techs I've worked with. Everyone is kind, they do good honest work, and they want to make sure you and your car leave all set. Overall Manchester honda is my favorite dealership in the Hartford/Springfield area.

I worked with Matt Denis in the service department about a month ago when my Honda was having severe coolant leaks as well as a recall on the passenger airbag. It was determined that my repairs were all covered under warranty and under the recall, but that they would need to keep my car for up to five days. This was difficult for me as a college student who is far from home, but Matt recognized this and the next day I got a call from him saying my repairs were done sooner since he knew I relied on my car! It really meant a lot to me that they got the repairs done so quickly at extra effort for themselves. I'm very thankful for the top-notch service I received from Matt and from Manchester Honda and will be back again!

I have been a long standing customer of Manchester Honda and my husband and I just purchased our 4th Honda for our daughter, a 2010 Certified Used CR-V. Her and I initially met with TJ who let her test drive the CR-V and discussed it in length. When I brought my husband back a couple weeks later, Jarrod assisted us as we decided to purchase the car. It was a very smooth process. When we went to pick up the car, we were in a bit of a hurry and Vic did everything he could to rush us through. Overall, I have trusted Manchester Honda and their service department for 13 years and I'm sure my daughter will be excited when she has her very own CR-V! It's a surprise!

I recently purchased a 2014 Honda Civic. My sales associate was Dan Yorgensen. I had a very good experience from start to finish. The first thing I liked was the transparent no haggle pricing policy. I had been to many other dealers that pull the whole "let me check with the manager" line and it is very annoying. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. I would definitely come back to purchase my next car here. I tell anyone I know who is thinking about buying a car to come here, I have no regrets and am very happy with my purchase and the level of customer service.

My experience at Manchester Honda was a positive one. I originally test drove a used Honda but on that day I was not ready to purchase. There was no hi pressure tactics or trying to get me to buy a new car instead they let me walk off the lot without issues. I left the dealership and informed the sales person Amanda that we d be in touch in a few weeks. She probably hears that a lot but I meant it because of how low pressure the dealership was. Originally I didnt like the newer model car but when I came back a few weeks later my mind was set on the newer model. So Amanda s lack of hi pressure tactics on my initial visit worked out best for them as I ended up purchasing a new vehicle instead.
Amanda was very helpful and informative during the entre purchasing process and has followed up with me after the purchase. This dealership in my opinion is very professional as was the sales person Amanda. I would recommnd them to friends and family.

I recently brought my fiancee's vehicle into Manch...

I recently brought my fiancee's vehicle into Manchester Honda for servicing after she had taken it to another Honda dealership near us and received very poor service. The other dealership was recommending work in excess of $1K while offering no information about the current condition of the vehicle and why these services needed to be performed. The service advisor at this other Honda dealership wouldn't even have a conversation with my fiancee or with me but was very eager to schedule our next appointment to get all of these items "fixed".
Naturally I didn't trust them so I decided to bring her car to Manchester Honda where I purchased my vehicle from to get a second opinion. A lot of dealerships have reputations for over charging and recommending services that don't need to be performed but this has never been my experience with Manchester Honda. My service advisor (Gary Groskritz) is always willing to talk with me and provide me with a "no-nonsense" assessment of my vehicles state.
Unlike the other advisor at the other Honda dealership I mentioned, Gary spent the time to talk with me about what could be wrong with my fiancee's vehicle and how we might go about fixing the issues if they were actually issues at all. On a regular basis Gary goes out of his way to show me what to watch for in the future so that I know when the vehicle needs to come back in for servicing leaving me better educated and with a comfort that my vehicle is in good working order. Amongst the problems that we were told about by the other dealership, Manchester's prices were better on all accounts.

When we asked at this other dealership to talk about why the VSA OFF button wasn't working the service advisor wanted $115 just to have a conversation with me, absolutely ridiculous! He kept stating that he has no responsibility to talk with me unless I pay him. When I brought the same issue up to Gary we talked about what might be wrong with the switch, he checked a couple things quickly while doing some of the other work I had asked him to perform, and low and behold the switch was simply unplugged. He got me fixed up and on my way without the $115 charge the other guy wanted just to talk. The "VSA OFF" switch (very helpful in winter) was fixed for $34.

Gary informed me that I had a recall against the driver and passenger side airbags, checked that the other dealership actually installed driver side like they were supposed to, hooked up the passenger side air bag inside of the 2 hour window I asked him to get all the work done in (had to get back to work) and sent me on my way.

Of the many items that the other dealer recommended only one of them needed to be performed and I walked away from Manchester Honda with with a bill for just over $200. That's more than an $800 savings over the other guys!

My experience buying a car from Erik at Manchester Honda was unlike what I've witnessed at other dealerships. He explained clearly the business and customer service principles at Manchester Honda and made the car buying process efficient and smooth. He was honest in all parts of the transaction, a trait that I didn't think existed in salespeople. I think the best assessment of a business such as this is a customer return rate. I will be back to have my new car serviced with "pro" technicians and, in the future, to purchase another vehicle here.

I've brought my car here for service multiple time...

I've brought my car here for service multiple times already, all great experience. What prompted me to write this review is due to a recent visit. I had a metal plate/shield underneath my car that's very deformed and was dangling at one corner. I brought my car to Honda expecting that it needed a part replacement. Felix helped me and his crew fixed the issue free of charge (thank you technicians)! They straightened it back up and replaced some clips for me, and did a quick inspection for everything else. I was pleasantly surprised. On another note, in terms of COVID precaution steps, the customer lounge had reduced chairs from pre-COVID to respect social distancing. Even though I waited 1.5 hrs in the building, I felt safe. Masks are required and the staff+customers are respecting the rules.

Bill helped me find the car I was looking for, walked me through the whole process, explained all of my options and answered all of my questions. I feel Manchester Honda is a very attentive dealership and being a family business they really strive to make their customers feel valued and happy. I am thrilled with my new 2017 CRV! It's an amazing vehicle and I'm looking forward to having it for a long time!

Our experience with Eli Mara was exceptional. We phoned last minute and he accommodated us with his schedule. He spent a lot of time with us making sure we were comfortable with our purchase, knew all the ins and outs of our new CRV, answered any and all questions and took us on an informative drive showing us all the features that we were unfamiliar with. We felt no rush or pressure at all. In fact quite the opposite. He was extremely kind and very professional making the purchase of our vehicle very pleasant. He even worked hard to accommodate our request to have our vehicle ready the same day which he did! We were so impressed we even asked for extra business cards so we could give them out to our family and friends. This is our second time purchasing a vehicle from Manchester Honda - a pleasant experience, so different from other dealers that play the back and forth pricing game with management.

My experience was laid back and pleasant the whole time. I was referred to one salesman, Dustin Kerr, but he happened to be off the day I went in. So, I worked with Erik Busher. I ended up working eventually with both gentlemen and they provided a great car buying experience. I have not wanted to even get close to a car dealership before, but I had heard great comments about Manchester Honda. I felt as though they really cared about making sure I understood my loan and the car I was buying. I had done some research beforehand, so I had a decent head start. After the completion of my pprwrk,Victor C. helped me with my registration and showed me around my new car for any last minute questions. It was truly an amazing team effort and I will look forward to going back for my next car.Thank you!

If your only experience with car repair has been the corner garage, you are in for an experience. This is a whole different world. It's like the difference between factory farming and grandma's vegetable patch. You start by driving directly into the garage, rolling down your driver window and waiting for someone to help you. After they take your car you wait in a nice clean room while they do the work. From the receptionist to the guy delivering me my car they we all courteous and helpful.

Best car buying experience I've had in my life. The numbers were always crystal clear, no pressure of any type, truly Plain and Simple! My sales rep, Erik, was exceptional. Communication was spot on at every step.of the process. Appointment times were accurate. Customer service is superb, and the price on the car was very good. I would recommend this location over others oi the area anytime!

The worse experience ever! Boy Manchester Honda you should be so proud you have an employee like Tom Graham (NOT)! He is definitely the king of rude and arrogance. Also maybe your rates wouldn't be so high if you got rid of at least half of the 30 people you've got working in the bay area sitting around.
First of all Mr Personality I never asked for a free rental car it was your employee who said it. I just wanted a car. When you said, " What'd ya do get this vehicle off ahh friend or neighbor?" That was rude especially given the fact you knew it belonged to my deceased mother!! We had already discussed that fact.
How many people do you know who would sink thousands of dollars into an 2002 Honda CRV?? Especially one that has only 60ish thousand miles on it. Only someone who has a lot of sentimental value. All the maintenance has been done at Manchester Honda. That was until I met you!!
Now what about the fact that I was called and told the cost would be $500.00 and something for the rear brake job. Than called back later and told me you guys misquoted me and it was going to be $700.00 more!!! So the whole thing cost me over$1,200.00!! Wow that's some kind of misquote!!! Well I guess someone has to pay for those 30 people sitting around in the bay area.

First of .avoid this place ..I'm not quite sure where to start I started dealing with the dealership back in February I was trying to buy Honda Civic type-r we couldn't quite come to terms at that time we tried again just two months ago they called me and they said we going to be getting another one and it's yours if you want it as we agreed on the price and that's when everything kind of started changing one by one they kept changing the rules and what we agree to First it was we need your credit app so I filled out my application online submitted they said okay well we need to know how much down you going to be putting in I said no problem I'll be putting down my entire car I'm driving now it's paid off they said well we really can do an appraisal over the phone or pictures you need to bring the car in and then we can proceed so I drove an hour and a half match with Kevin who's been assisting me till that moment who introduced me to mark a senior salesperson has been there for very long time both greeted me nicely took my car appraised it came back as I expected lower than what I expected what the Kelley Blue Book was telling me what neighboring dealerships told me but I said okay no problem after I left they gave me another number now they said well now you have to give us a cash down payment before we run your credit I said hold on you told me the moment I bring my car and you can finally run my credit they wouldn't do that they said unless I give him a cash down payment or credit card down payment they will not run my credit even though they said specifically wants to know what my car was work with they would consider as a downpayment they would know what to apply for which in that case was going to be $25,000 and go from there I called a few times emailed them few times didn't really get anywhere the conversations became much less frequent been few weeks received an email from Mark saying hey has been few weeks what's going on I tried replying three times never heard back texted Kevin who knew she was helping me never heard back so I'm assuming these guys just don't want to deal with me and they were playing some sort of a strange game the neighboring dealership that I've been talkin to warn me about them told me that it was too good to be true and that they heard many bad stories about the dealership I didn't really believe it because my experience was going so smoothly at first but now I do believe it and I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Manchester Honda or dealing with Kevin or Mark for that matter

I had an emergency and they fixed my car after another mechanic messed up the lock. I appreciate that they fixed my lock and told me that the car (I just bought it the day before from liberty motors,don't go there!) needed new tires and back brakes squeak. I am happy with the job Manny did,I would give 5 stars but Manny was rough around the edges and a little inpatient,as I have cognitive issues due to my disability and he came off as rude. I also had to pay 40$ for their "courtesy" car. So my bill was 840$ for lock alone and loner car. But I have piece of mind and that's priceless. Thanks Manchester Honda,Manny and the manager.

I just purchased a Certified Used 2010 Honda Civic from Manchester Honda last week. The entire process was easy and I felt very comfortable at Manchester Honda as I purchased my new car. I met with Kris at Manchester Honda and he was very helpful and honest, making my decision on which Honda to purchase easy and enjoyable. Manchester Honda has honest employees who focus on you as the customer rather than themselves, which is not a common occurrence at every car dealership. Extremely positive experience!! This is the first dealership that was truly transparent! The price you see in their webpage is exactly the price you will pay.. no surprises!! My sales person was Mr Brown (Vroom) and the custuner service he provided was excelent as well. I will definetly come back if i need to purchase another car!

My purchase of a used Honda Ridgeline went smoothly right up to the time I was to take ownership and the title to the vehicle was in process and I had to wait a week for it to come in so I could pick it up. I did not get any help with the rental I had to get for a trip planned for the weekend in between. Bottom line is to get this information to the buyer in the beginning of the sales process not at the signing of the purchase agreement so it does not feel like you have been entrapped.

I had an overall great experience with Manchester Honda. Tim Batson was very helpful in helping me find the car I wanted. I went in on a weekend so at no fault of the dealer it took a few days to hear back about my loan applications. The following week I picked the car up. They did almost an extra two thousand dollars worth of work at no charge just to get my civic road ready. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My only complaint is that I had to go back to the dealer a couple of days after getting the vehicle, because the VIN etching I ordered hadn't been done to the car yet. Other than that one inconvenience I had a wonderful, first time at Manchester Honda, and I would recommend shopping here to anyone in the market for a new or used car. Arguably the best prices in the area, and hands down the best and most prompt service.

I was recently in search of a new car and was looking at the Honda Pilot. I went online and sent Manchester Honda an email; they made it easy to set up an appointment to test drive and learn more about the Pilot. Dave was the salesman helping me through the process and he helped me realize the Pilot was a whole lot more than I needed and showed me the CR-V. Dave was incredibly helpful especially since it was my first time buying a vehicle on my own. They made trading in my old car easy and picking up the CR-V a breeze and helped walk me through using all of its features. Even after my purchase, Dave has still been checking in to make sure I am enjoying the car and don't have any questions. Not only do I love the CR-V, but I am beyond happy with Manchester Honda's service and definitely plan on buying my next car there!
