The stay here was great for the most part...had some noisy neighbors in the room next door (arguing and cussing at each other in the middle of the night, slamming doors, etc.) on two different occasions during the week, two different couples, and they were down right rude to me and the rest of us who stayed in neighboring rooms...it stopped after a couple of hours or so...

I would also state that this is not the hotel's fault and this type of ruckus could have happened at any location...

The in-house restaurant does have some good eats, as well. This came in handy on the nights I didn't want to explore the area for dinner...

This is a nice hotel for a flight layover. The staff is friendly at the front desk and the restaurant and the food is good. The rooms are clean and well appointed with a conformable bed. The free airport shuttle runs on a fixed schedule and very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a short stay near JFK.

Worst customer service. Food was horrible for the price . When checking out we were asked how our stay was we kept it honest . Finding out the front desk clerk and assistant manager find this as a joke . Room smelled like mold . There are no microwaves or kitchen area in the rooms . Not worth the money . I think I saw roaches

I loved the design and ambiance. . Definitely relaxing.. The room I stayed in in my opinion was small compared to other hotels I've stayed in and I liked that there was a Keurig Coffeemaker in the room... Never expected to see that so that was a plus. My complaint with this particular hotel... For the amount you spend a night there should be complimentary coffee tea for guests not even free breakfast for guests. I know its NY but offer some basic amenities besides charging for water.. snacks Everything that's displayed across from the front desk you have to pay for. Other than that the stay there was just OK

I had an over all terrible stay. There wasn't a microwave not a fridge in the room. The front door was broken 3 out of the 5 days I stayed there which caused the entire downstairs to be freezing cold. There wasn't a free breakfast and the breakfast that you had to buy was like nine or ten dollars. The back entrance was actually the entrance to the restaurant and they would give you mean looks if you used it without eating there. Finally someone puked in the elevator and the guy who "cleaned it up" basically just smeared it around with water and it still smells and it was disgusting!

Had a lovely meal and drinks tonight. Unfortunately it was marred not by the staff but by a fellow customer who was so abusive and argumentative to the staff it was heartbreaking to see. This woman was determined to pick a fight and chose the bartender Sharon and the manager Thomas to attack. We know their names because we were so shocked at what had occurred we came back into the bar to see if they were alright. They dealt with the situation as professionals, this woman was a chancer (as we say in Ireland), Basically somebody who lies about their food / service in order to try and get a freebie. Shame on you, (whoever you were!!!)

This is a pretty decent hotel, however it could use some major "Cleaning" the walls, bathroom & floor of our room were so filthy i didn't want to take my socks off!!! Called dwn to get it serviced, but nobody never showed up...... I guess with it being near the airport i expected greater.

The room was nice, the hotel itself was nice bang in the flight path for JFK but very well soundproofed. Service was less good, the remote for the TV didn't work, and I had to call twice to get someone to look at it. They couldn't fix it but said the engineer would look at it next day. Well he didn't, TV was exactly the same, eventually someone moved the receiver from behind the TV so it could "see" the remote. Not a tidy solution. Also annoyingly the room service kept leaving us only decaffeinated coffee pods for the in room machine, had to call reception every day for regular (caffeinated) pods.

We came in from Maryland on November 17th from Maryland and I must say the hotel is really nice and comfortable. Me and 7 of my family members came down to the restaurant to eat and the food was not good at all. It was cold and 3 of us sent our food back. We just got here and wanted to eat something good but I wish we never picked this place. Only good thing about being in this restaurant was the guy VINNIE was really nice and came out to make sure we was ok and tried to help several times... they need a better cook and only reason I came here was because I work at a Holliday in Maryland at the greenbelt location , and I thought it would be great to bring family here and enjoy ourselves but it didn t turn out that way and I m upset!!

Great hotel. Friendly and accommodating staff. Especially Tamika, who went above and beyond to ensure my requests for the room with a view and a mini refrigerator in the room were met. Clean room, nice bed, sound proofing could have been a bit better. There's a restaurant and full bar on property and free shuttle rides from and to JFK. I will stay here again and recommend my friends as well. I stayed here in Feb 2018.

The Holiday Inn has a shuttle to and from JFK airport, which was awesome. It's supposed to run every half hour, but we had to call a few times to get a bus to pick us up. The rooms were clean. The concierge gave the information to a number of restaurants that delivered to the hotel. So convenient. There's also a restaurant in the hotel. Didn't try it though.

Don't be impressed by the price. After all, the shuttle is free and so round trip from JFK you save around $ 120. Quiet and comfortable place to spend a day waiting for a coincidence. Very friendly staff. Recommended.
