Great great staff. Very clean. But no free breakfast.

Great place to stay. Pool was very nice. Will stay again!

The rooms were great. The pool was being maintained every morning when my kids wanted to go bright and early and we're always clean and fresh. The breakfast in the attached restaurant was delicious and so different from the standard 'free breakfast' you get in hotels. Will definitely come back when it's warmer.

Worked 56 hours. 32 of them I couldn't punch in for, never filed out tax papers till after I was fired. Filing a claim with LARA

Wasn't amazing or terrible, just ok. You won't stay here for the hotel, although it is nice, you'll stay here for the surrounding area. Facilities were clean but be advised this is simply a normal hotel with normal rooms.

Food is always great, great views of the river, sitting on the deck is the way to go!

Phillip in the lounge was tremendous. Knew his beers and great conversationalist. Sylwia was our server and was great. Very attentive and personable. Highly recommend the motel and the restaurant and bar. Rooms were clean and all was great!!

Nice atmosphere and staff, as well good bands and events. Great outdoor tiki bar and the river too.

Drinks are great and service is good at the tiki bar or inside. DO NOT EAT ON THE DECK. Worst service I have had in Spring Lake. Their buffet has also taken a nose dive over the last few years. It is not organized and the food is horrible.

Rooms are nice, staff is friendly, and food is good. All in all a great place to stay.

This hotel is very dirty and neglected. Carpets on the third floor badly need cleaning. Balcony overlooking the lake is filthy. A plastic bottle was on the floor of the elevator, which was our first impression. The flooring in the foyer and bathroom were very sticky on check-in, no hangers in the closet and the room s phone did not work. IGH - you can do better for your employees and guests at this popular venue.

I can t believe how nice people are sometimes, today the front desk persons was as friendly as could be. The restaurant and bar staff also awesome. As hotels go this place will do if you can get it in season. Clean up to date and location. Only 4 stars because the drive in is really clunky my advice is park and walk.

For a week in October 2020 I stayed here for work. My room was nicely appointed, fairly quiet, and comfortable. They had many hand sanitizer stations throughout the building. The restaurant on site is ok but the service at both the rest and the hotel was good. They didn't offer any house cleaning at all, but that isn't uncommon right now. I would stay here again.

Horrible service. Go somewhere else to eat. You will be seated, eat and back to enjoy your day quicker then sitting here. We just left

My family met for a mini-reunion. We made the reservation in the restaurant, met, talked and laughed, and were never made to feel rushed. Our server allowed for individual bills, was Johnny-on-the-spot with drink refills, and was very concerned with our needs.He even offered to take group pictures for us! The food (buffet style) was excellent, as was the cooked to ordef omelette station. Very happy there, and we'll be back!

What did you do? One of the best places to visit in west Michigan before the change. Burger joint/waterfront? No fine food. No more patio? Limited bar menu outside but you can walk 50 feet and get anything you like? That is convenient. This place will change soon or fail. I speak for a dozen people that "were" a fan of this most excellent location.

Location is very picturesque. Hotel is tidy and up to date. Walking distance to a local microbrewery is a good plus. Hotel restaurant is also nice with waterfront seating available in season and a tiki bar.

This is a solid hotel, newly remodeled, located on the water and when the summer sun is high in the sky it is a fun stop for Happy Hour at the outdoor bar! The Burger Theory menu could use some work and some specials, but a work in progress!!

We had a great room. My son did not want to leave. The restaurant was very good. Very clean close to grand heaven for events. Would highly recommended this hotel to others. Only suggestion I have is book directly through the hotel not through the 800 number for all of the holiday inns there is a disconnect between them and information gets missed. With that said the staff was very helpful and more then happy to make adjustments. (Like a crib for my son) we will be going back.

My friend's wedding was on the lawn. Facilities seemed clean and well kept. Staff were friendly.

I enjoyed dinner at their restaurant... Jack's. Afterwards outside at the Tiki Bar. Everyone, on the staff, was fantastic and I even was introduced to the General Manager April Schmidt. I will be back!

We came here for comedy night last night. Our server was very rude. I believe it was ashley or amanda? We ordered fries that were crumbled burnt pieces from the bottom of the frier. We ordered cheese sticks that were luke warm. The drinks on tap are not the drinks listed in the menu, however after asking the waitress what was on tap she said she wasn't sure. There was a racist woman in the room making unbelievable comments to the comedian. Nobody from the staff told her to leave. This was beyond heckling. She was completely out of control. The microphone gave feedback throughout the show and it wasn't fixed, even after the comedians continuously asked. The host introduced the first comedian and then disappeared. We were not told of last call. Just handed the check. Absolute waste of time.

Absolutely horrible. No power in all room for 4 hours due to repairs, then no TV or refrigerator power, entire wall all night or even a TV remote anyway. Offered me drinks. Couldn't have been worse or less cooperative. Nice frozen lake view with lots of cold air flowing in. Just delightful experience.

Lakefront, pet friendly, indoor pool with hot tub, restaurant, scenic views and outdoor recreation area.

Relaxing comfort in every area of the hotel. Ran by a friendly efficient staff. I highly recommend it.

It seems like anymore customer service is a lost art. Once a business or company has your $$$$ all too often they stop caring. During a recent hockey tournament several families from the team booked rooms at the HI for a Friday evening / Saturday morning schedule. Unfortunately our 11 am Saturday morning game was rescheduled for 5:45 pm leaving us trying to figure out how we were going to kill 5 hours between Saturday checkout and game time. After explaining our situation the HI management staff was gracious enough to extend our saturday checkout time to 4pm. Can't thank the HI staff enough for going out of their way to accommodate us. Thank you HI for restoring my faith in customer service.

My wife and I had a great stay and morning breakfast here. We would be happy to return someday.

Place was under re-construction when we stayed for 2 nights. No problem with that, except almost every single construction worker there spoke Spanish. Why the hell are they contracting out to illegals when tens of millions of Americans are currently not participating in the labor market? Why are they employing American workers?

No continental breakfast but our room has a balcony and a safe, good room service options. Overall a nice option

The band Paris Blue at Jacks was awesome! Wait staff was right on,and very friendly.Tiki bar and huge patio right outside.

The service is impeccable. Especially at check in Denise was just excellent. At check out time that too was just great. And Manny at the burger theory restaurant his service was unbelievably good. I will stay there again.

Great location during summer for staying and being able to hang at the hotel. Good food and lots of entertainment. Accessible by boat with reserved docks.

Started to throw up at 3 am. Went to ask front desk if they had tums or anti acid and they didn t. Very surprised at the selection of emergency needs here for the price of room. Not so pleased.

Once the remodel is done this will be a superb hotel. The restaurant is pretty decent too. Rooms are updated. And staff is extremely helpful. Indoor n outdoor pools. Right on harbor. Will stay again.

The Spring Lake class of 1972 recently had our 45th reunion last Saturday night. Sam Swiftney and Janet Olah made it a perfect evening. Set up, food, and service was impeccable. We plan to have our 50th there in 5 years. Thank you very much, Dale .

Very clean, comfortable rooms that seem to have been updated recently. Super friendly and helpful staff. The icing on the cake, when our son's hockey game got moved from 11:00 AM to 5:45 PM they gave the entire team an extension on check out to 4:00 PM, when we had hoped for 1:00! Not many hotels would do the same. Will definitely stay here again, and we highly recommend it!

We spent my 50th birthday this past weekend and we couldn't be any happier. The front desk, restaurant and housekeeping were all exceptional. The staff actually left a birthday card signed by the staff along with a happy birthday banner over our bed which we though was a sweet touch. Our entire family was so very happy and please. Thank you so very much! We wish all hotels were as sweet and service oriented as yours.

We got a good deal on Priceline to stay here. The hotel has recently been updated and looks great. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi, an outdoor pool, a workout room, a game room and an area with some computers and a printer. The hotel has a restaurant called "Jack's" and a lounge on site. We enjoyed a comedy show and live music in the lounge during our stay. Their are coffeemakers and free coffee in the rooms. They always have coffee and fresh baked cookies in the check in area. They have free parking and free wifi. All the staff members we encountered were very courteous. I would recommend staying here.

I could not have picked a better venue for our reception. This place KNOWS WEDDINGS. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. Sam Swiftney, their event coordinator, was the person who really made the day easy to plan and made it all run smoothly. He was helpful, friendly, and checked on us throughout the weekend (and throughout the entire planing process!) to ensure everything went off without a hitch. Thank you, Sam Swiftney! Their food is to die for (we had a buffet, but they also offer plated meals too). Everyone complimented us on the yummy food. The bar staff was friendly, despite our somewhat rowdy bunch! The rooms are spacious and clean. The grand ballroom was the perfect place for our daytime reception and had plenty of room for all 90+ guests and even our ridiculously-sized 18 person wedding party! The hotel itself is beautiful and sits on a beautiful waterfront view. This venue was perfect for us!

This is a nice hotel with good amenities. However, if you are in a hurry in the mornings breakfast is a no go at the hotel.

Nice rooms and friendly staff. They upgraded me to a room with a better view and I was very appreciative.

Went for the comedy show and wasn't didsapointed. I had to go fix my make-up from laughing so hard. We ordered drinks and food. While a little on the pricey side, the quality was excellent.
