Holiday Inn Express Rotterdam - Central Station Review

Nice hotel in the center, been a few times and still go there often

Nice holiday Inn situated infront of the tram stop and perfectly located in the city center. Only 10min walk from CS, shopping street and nightlife venues.

Though this is an Express hotel, the quality of the rooms was fantastic with good views (not all rooms may have a good view). The toilet was very clean and shiny. Room is just right size,, but that's what you expect from an Express hotel. Breakfast is very basic. Staff was very helpful. Overall a very convenient hotel at the centre of the business district.

First of all, the hotel is great for all activities. Real mega. The hotel itself, book through search engines is mega annoying. Check in is easy. The room, well for the price .... Dirty blankets on the bed. Everywhere dust, lamps unplugged. Shower dirty. No toilet brush available. Breakfast is OK for a day or two. For a longer stay, you will not feel like it anymore. Is ne cheap version with discounterware. And totally over the price. Way too expensive. Then the hammer, the parking lot. Fees of 28.50 per day. Find that too expensive.

The hotel offers comfy beds in very standard rooms. The bathrooms are clean and inviting. The personal is professional and friendly. The windows inside of the rooms cannot be opened, which leads to a dependance on the AC (which worked fine).

Our family travels all around the world on both business and Leisure and have travelled to 32 countries as of now. Also now I visit Netherlands often. This hotel has become like our second home now. Our son studies in TU Delft, so when we visit him we stay here.

We want to place on record the Awesome services rendered by all the staff of various departments. We had a great experience with front office staff Michael, Milho, and the others too. Michael is ever helpful and courteous, so was Milho

Guests and are pretty hardworking.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the housekeeping staff clean the rooms quite well. Kudos to them too.

We have only One suggestion for improvement: this is about the rates, atleast For regular guests you can give a small discount of atleast 20% because last time we had taken two rooms for almost 25 days and no discount was offered. We get
Good rates for Holiday inn and Novotel in other parts of the world. We are an elite member of the IHG and Accor hotels too .

On the whole our stay was great and strongly recommend this hotel to tourists from all over the world

Nicely located, not too bad but nothing too special... Decent living space in Rotterdam, very close to the station. Kept clean and tidy with a very helpful and courteous staff. Good value for money... But nothing too luxurious

Modern en keurig hotel op loopafstand van station en centrum (stadhuis). Eenvoudig maar goed ontbijtbuffet. Value for money.

The room was really cold. The air conditioner was loud :/ could not sleep over night

I can defintely recommend this hotel. The location is great very close to Rotterdam city center. Simple but comfortable rooms. Great value for the price. The breakfast was in a bag due to the covid 19 but we still enjoyed it.

Neat double room booked for 1 night. Nice shower, all very neat. Bed was somewhat narrow (I am guessing 140 wide). Furthermore, had a very good breakfast the next morning. Parking is possible under / next to the hotel in the garage. Very pricey (23 euros for a night).

Good hotel, great location, very close to the central station, the tram stop is in front of the hotel, and 10 minutes walk from the city center. Good value, ideal for short stays, good breakfast if included in the offer, continental. I do not give 5 stars because there is no closet in the room (there are only clothes hangers) and there is no safe or fridge which in summer could be a drawback. 3 nice rooms with TV with Italian channels, large bathroom, great housekeeping, very helpful, but does not speak Italian

Good sleeping comfort and cappuccino without extra charge

We were at the hotel only one night. Everything is not bad. Breakfast is good, varied, there were fruits, various buns, sliced. The bed is clean. The only negative: the windows in the room can not be opened at all

Incredibly rude staff. Hotel was overbooked and as a result our group booking was cancelled without notification and without apology.

Decor neat and clean. Nice bathroom! Room is small but fine. Breakfast is fine and sufficient seating even during peak times. Downside is that the hotel is "international" (as they call it) two beds used 1:40 badly wide. This would not be in a hotel, or you should be able to consciously choose when booking but it is not mentioned. Complained after the first night. Was first made as difficult after I insisted traded in a room with two single beds each 1m wide. Ratio between 1 and 2 bed is a little searching. Thanks for this after some persuasion could be arranged. Furthermore great hotel!

Great location for exploring the city and shopping. Breakfast is a bit manic.

Wifi is terrible always dropping connection, bed is uncomfortable and breakfast offers little in the way of cooked food

Too bad there are no terraces in the rooms. Is understood if you are reasonably hopg. Rooms are certainly fine and very clean! You do not have a cupboard in the room. There is a rack where you can hang your clothes.
For the rest, the staff is very friendly and they are always there for you!
You can also rent bicycles here, which is certainly a plus in this city

Micheal at front desk was really rude, when advised he was getting appropriate feedback he became more aggressive.

2 days stay in this hotel. Staff at reception very friendly and benevolent.Other staff also very friendly. Rooms look good and tidy, beds a bit too short for tall people. Very spacious shower.
Only miss an in-room safe.

Worse than any Ballermann Hotel. Clean: yes, otherwise completely crowded and far too little space in the breakfast room and at check-in. If you feel like having breakfast for half an hour in the morning, this is the place for you. Of course, heating in the bathroom would also help. The rooms facing the street are very loud. Parking with 23.50 is extremely rude. If you also want to use the lift at peak times (due to the complete misdimensioning of 7-11), you better get on the staircase. I had such circumstances last in a hotel in a so-called third world country.

Very nice hotel with great breakfast , but when arrive at 9p.m. the door was locked , we ring the doorbell and nothing for 10 min , we when lucky that one visitor came out and we was able to go in. Unforgivable that the hotel didn't thing about that !

Great breakfast for a hotel of this class. Double bed 140x200cm, good small room and great shower. Practically close to the main station and with ok parking garage in an area where cars only disturb and are very expensive to turn off.

Rotterdam is a beautiful city, the Holiday Inn is in an important location in Rotterdam, it takes about 7 minutes to get to the train station... There is breakfast included, very few European hotels contain breakfast... can be pushed...

Very clean and comfortable for business stay. Lack of gym and somehow poor breakfast

Convenient location with easy access to public transit. Room was clean but lacked any type of in room safe or refrigerator. Bed was also small for sleeping two.

Nice room, neat and more than adequate! The breakfast was tasty and certainly plenty of choice. The location is ideal, close to the station and many shops nearby!

Room was very good. Got breakfast box from hotel on nextday morning as we had to start very early. Hotel staffs are very helpful.

Worst in the chain that I have stayed at. Long wait times at the desk. Chairs in the room and common area are stained and dirty. Tram changing tracks outside is difficult to sleep through. Good location is a plus though.
