Nice hotel with an average spa. It's a bit away from live and shopping but therefore quite. Cleaning staff removed the hotel badge a few times when I left it on the room and sometimes they knocking the door and almost opened immediately. I didn't like this!
Meanwhile been to spa, well there you are with swimwear in the sauna ........ and with us others who then get shorts from the reception because yes who takes his bath stuff to the sauna ... ....

The staff of this hotel are very welcoming and very professional, the rooms are very comfortable, the SPA with swimming pool very modern, very clean.

Nadat we hier gegeten hadden zijn we heel zoek geworden waarschijnlijk was het eten niet goed. Hierna ben ik op internet gaan kijken en er staan meer van zulke klachten. Het restaurant toont totaal geen begrip. Een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor 2!
Samen met mijn man,nicht &zus heb ik een 1 daagsewelnessarrangement met overnachting geboekt. Tevens had ik een 5 gangen menu met amuse geboekt in het restaurant Savarin. Bij het inchecken al viel me de ontzettende gastvrijheid & service al op. Iedereen van het hotel tot het restaurant & spa personeel was ontzettend aardig en vriendelijk.
De kamers zijn fijn & luxe, de bedden liggen heerlijk, nespresso apparaat aanwezig & waterkoker, minibar. Helaas geen lepeltjes om te roeren. Enige minpuntje is dat de bad en douche in een is waardoor het iedere keer een geklim is als je wil douchen. Uitzicht was ook minder ivm dat er allerlei bedrijven eromheen zitten. Maar voorderest top. In de avond werd onze kamer gereed gemaakt voor de avond, bed opgemaakt, gordijnen dicht zonder extra kosten. Wel vind ik het jammer dat de badjassen erg gekreukt zijn. De mijne had een gat en kreeg wel na een telefoontje een ander maar kreeg toen een 3x xxl.jammer is dat ze niet naar de maat vroegen!
De spa/welness is niet groot maar alles is er, 2 sauna,infra rood,stoomcabine, hottub,bubblebad,en een fijn zwembad, veel ligbedden binnen en buiten. Maar ook hier is het personeel heel vriendelijk&servicegericht. We hadden behandelingen zoals lichaamsmassage, facial, algenbad hoofdmassage etc. Was zeer goed. Heerlijk. Enige wat jammer is dat de behandelkamers niet geluiddicht is waardoor alle geluiden van het zwembad hoorbaar is. Daardoor kan, je, je niet totaal ontspannen. Maar voorderest is het een oase van rust en echt fijn om bij te komen.
Het restaurant was echt een cullinair avontuur. De bediening ontzettend gastvrij en servicegericht. Eten subliem, alle gangen passen goed bijelkaar. Echt een gastonomisch ervaring met heerlijke wijnen. Zeer luxueus. Maar vooral door het fijn personeel was het een top ervaring. Ik raad iedereen aan om hier te eten.
Heb bij librije gegeten maar restaurant Savarin doet er echt niet onder.
Ontbijt was ook heel goed, ook hier weer de gastvrijheid , service top, heerlijke koffie, echt jus heerlijke broodjes, veel keuze, vergebakken eieren hoe jij het wil.
Ik moet zeggen wat werkt iedereen hard van hotel,restaurant tot de welness maar toch blijven ze vriendelijk en vrolijk.
The room it very artistic, good and cozy interior design. The spa feels great, we can use the salt scrub for free, good temperature, and service. The food the the restaurant (dinner) taste great and it really is a high quality food.
I had a delicious dinner here with friends. The service was very good. Friendly staff. Indication of parking is somewhat unclear. Decor is very beautiful.
Spavarin was fantastic. Not too busy, friendly staff, lovely inside bath, nice outside seating areas and outside jaccuzi. read well and enjoyed the treatment, SUPER body massage at the end.
Fruit bowl was a bit small, private bath was delicious.

Nice but somewhat small rooms with in our room only a shower and no bath. The wellness was good but in some places the floor was very slippery so you should definitely pay attention when you step on it. The food is definitely recommended. Very tasty and fine in taste.
Bad experience ... luxury lunch ordered and then at checkout everything appart must pay ..... sauna gift voucher also do not fall people ... you get no discount ... you are required to take a package with a tanning bed or any other treatment that you do not want .... I will never see them here again
Update: de eigenaar van het restaurant heeft contact met ons opgenomen. Hij was geschrokken van onderstaande ervaring en gaf aan, dat ze er serieus naar gaan kijken hoe dit heeft kunnen gebeuren.
Een wonderlijke ervaring. De hele avond werd het restaurant gerund door vijf leerlingen/stagiaires. We hebben twee keer iemand in pak voorbij zien komen om even wat uit te serveren, maar verder niet. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk, maar liet natuurlijk nogal wat steken vallen.
Ze hadden geen echte kennis van de wijn en de gerechten. Het leverde hilarische uitspraken op, die echt niet kunnen in een restaurant in deze prijs categorie: "We serveren deze wijn, omdat u de vorige al heeft gehad.", "Ja, dit is port. Daar valt niet zoveel over te zeggen port is port." En daar stond dan een standaard fles Kopke. Niets mis mee, maar best teleurstellend als je een wijnarrangement bij de vijfgangen diner besteld.
De serveerster vond het vreemd, dat we geen apperatief wilden. Ik vind vijf glazen wijn bij mijn diner echt genoeg alcohol. Maar de rede om geen aperatief te bestellen maakt niet uit: ik wens geen veroordeling van de serveerster over mijn keuze! Kraanwater werd in eerste instantie niet geserveerd. Later kwam ze terug. Het kon wel, maar tegen een vergoeding. 1,50 per glas of 3,- voor een karaf. We bestelden een karaf. We kregen twee karafjes van 25 CL. Aan het eind van avond stond er serieus 2 keer 3,- op de rekening voor twee karafjes met de inhoud van een glas! Een fles gebotteld water kostte 6,-.... De ober kon dat ook niet echt uitleggen. "Sorry, ik ben maar de leerling". Maar hij nam wel contact op met een leiding gevende en uiteindelijk verdween het van de rekening. Ze hadden geen kraanwater mogen serveren.... Dat vind ik echt niet kunnen als je bij vijfgangen een wijnarrangement besteld.
Het kaasplankje werd geserveerd in kartonnen doosje, waardoor het op vliegtuig eten leek. De ober kon ons vertellen, in welke volgorde we moesten eten, maar kon niets over de kaasjes vertellen. Hij verwees naar de beschrijving in het doosje... Daar stond inderdaad de naam van de kaas.
Het eten was over het algemeen goed, maar we voelden ons alles behalve welkom. Er is niets mis met stagiaires, maar ze moeten wel begeleid worden. Schandalige vertoning dit!
Reviewing the SPA only.
There is one pool, one whirlpool, one hot tub, four sauna (Finnish, dry, wet). Except for the pool, all of these are quite small (can accommodate up to 4 people, but it is quite weird if you don't know them because you are very close to each other...). It can get quite busy, and you can find yourself waiting to get into any of these...
One changing room and a few cold showers/bathrooms. As it gets busy, one changing room (accommodating one person during Corona, but I guess not more than 2/3 in normal times) is not enough.
Hygiene: poor. Guests and staff can walk in their outside shoes next to the facilities, and that's very not hygienically appropriate.
Bar: not too much choice, and the waitress has to go every order to fetch the food on restaurant on the other side. Even if it's raining...
TL;DR; the facilities are nice and the place could be much better if there were more attention to the hygiene and they would admit less people.
Nice hotel, we had the executive room. Tastefully decorated. Just a pity that the restaurant is not in the hotel itself. Spa is nice but on the small side.
Very nice service at the hotel reception. Restaurant service even better. Denmark very good. A relaxed atmosphere. Expensive but recommendable.
Every comfort was present, nice but worn rooms, excellent food and good adapted wines. There was also good wifi connection but so few tv channels and no movies on demand (would have to in a 5 star hotel). It is a pity that the service was below all levels. We were often forgotten and at breakfast we were skipped to 4x. While the later guests were already served, we had to ask a few times to get our coffee. Wellness was unkempt and not really hygienic. Service at the first dinner was very bumbling and they often forgot that we spoke the same language (Flemish). One always talks about a champagne breakfast but never got it on arrival. Had to go look for it in a corner. Is not worth its 5 stars.
A small but cozy spa and perfectly located just outside The Hague. Easy to access by both car and public transport. I would not suggest a visit in the afternoon/evening or during weekends since it will just be too busy. I really think it is their responsibility to not accept that many people. If they do, they really need to expand the relaxing area with beds. Four beds to share among all those people is just too little...
I was very disappointed with the spa, which is clearly not up to a 5-star standard.
I had organized a whole day with my husband to celebrate his 40th birthday.
We were given spotted and punctured towels. The water and spa temperature was not hot. We've been cold all day, it's been really horrible. Our bathrobes, towels and slippers were soaked and iced. During the treatment, we were cold. Then we burned ourselves with the shower water because the trainee didn't know how it worked. In brackets, there were only interns to take care of us. Of course they knew nothing as usual. A 5-star hotel that only employs interns is unacceptable, it's really not normal. We still expect qualified staff. We wanted to eat something, we waited 1 hour to get a cold meal tray. We were soaked in our bathrobes waiting for food, it wasn't pleasant at all. Finally, I wanted to do a manicure, it lasted 1h30. I was taken to a small house outside the spa. I was with my bathrobe, bathing suit and wet slippers and they made me cross the parking lot like that. It was that day, 4 degrees. I had to walk in the ground to get to the house. I really don't recommend this place obviously.
I normally love going to the spa, it's the first time I've had such an experience.

Stayed one night at the hotel. On arrival there was still trash (food leftovers) from the previous guests in the trash. Bathroom also not really good clean. Reported immediately at the reception. The cleaning lady would come to fix it. Never been. Very poor for a 5 star accommodation. In the bathroom, tiles were broken on the floor and were loose. Because of this dangerously sharp edges. Not nice with bare feet. also also broke the sink and there was again dangerous sharp edges. Kit joints not neat and especially a lot of dust.
All departure also neatly passed at the reception. There were two trainees who are not really here could answer. All in all very bad for a 5 star hotel.
Bed was fine, breakfast was tasty, but not really special. The ladies of the service at breakfast were great.
Location looks very nice on the pictures, but it is located between the office buildings. Also very unfortunate that you pay 15 for parking on their own property (just outside).
It all seemed very nice but this hotel was not worth 160 for 1 night.

Each course takes 1 hour and even the bread takes one hour to get on the table. A 3 course menu takes us 3 hour.
Staff were very unfriendly, find all excuses to say it is the system s fault.

It was a very nice stay with very nice and luxurious rooms with a large bath and a comfortable bed. The wellness was also particularly good.
Had a nice high tea. Only had to wait a very long time before sandwiches were finally on the table. No sandwiches for the high tea but just mini dots that were dried out ...

Groupon aangeschaft met geldigheid van aantal maanden. Bij contact bleken binnen deze maanden bijna alle dagen al vol te zitten. Bij reserveren vervolgens geen reactie. Ook niet na meerdere mails. Zelfs na telefonisch contact en beloftes geen bevestiging van reservering. Na weer telefonisch contact blijken binnen geldigheid groupon geen dagen meer beschikbaar. Gevolg? Of ik even bij wil betalen. Reden? "Ja, we kunnen de vele mails niet op tijd verwerken"! Onbeschoft! Ze maken er een soort van loterij van.
We had dinner here from a social deal, it was excellent, not very large portions, but enough, excellent service.
This is not an option for a day of wellness.
If you walk around naked in front of the sauna, guests with swimwear will look at you strangely. There is giggling etc.

Opted for a surprise dinner. We (4 people) have not regretted it. It was a pleasant evening in which we were spoiled with delicious dishes served by friendly, knowledgeable and visibly committed staff. We will repeat this sometimes.
We hebben vanavond de bezorg maaltijd gegeten, eend vootaf en hoofdgerecht vis. De bezorging was wat vroeg. Kwaliteit en smaak meer dan uitstekend, prijs/kwaliteit zoals deze hoort te zijn.
Bijzonder was de attentie op kleine dingen zoals een qr link naar bijpassende muziek.

Executive room was good. Too bad the turkish steam bath was broken when we were staying there. We payed for a Champagne breakfast without champagne?? Definitely not a 5* hotel but it was okay
Was nice, but could have had better service at the high tea. Had to ask several times for more boiling water for the tea. And had to wait quite long after asking.
Been there for a week. Hands off! The wellness area is a bad joke. The pool is more of a paddling pool and I wouldn't call the sauna that. The sauna consists of two wooden "sweat barrels". These are outside. The things are tiny, have a musty smell and something like an infusion, which is actually standard in a five-star spa, of course didn't exist. Anyone who has already seen other wellness hotels does not know whether to laugh or cry with this ridiculous offer.
The service was underground bad. Towels that were on the floor were not changed and just left there.
Water and wine glasses in the room were removed when used and not replaced. Each time we had to request new ones from reception.
Same game with the coffee machine. Coffee was not refilled even though daily use of the machine was included and advertised. There were three cheap capsules in a box very generously. Embarrassing! Not even original capsules!
The television could be elegantly lowered into the bed box at the push of a button, but what good does that do if the picture quality is poor and some channels can only be heard and not seen?
We have delivered franked mail to the reception with the request to post it. This never arrived.
The restaurant was overpriced. Only 15 minutes away were several restaurants with extremely high quality food in a very nice atmosphere (e.g. De Wits).
A visitor's tax was charged on departure. How ridiculous is that? I could understand that in The Hague, but there? On the motorway in the industrial area?
Conclusion: as long as you really only sleep there and are otherwise out and about, that's fine. But why this hotel has such a high rating is a mystery to me. Completely wrong!
We were there 9 nights (yes, really 9) and we were very satisfied. The rooms were nicely furnished and really very clean. The view from the room was of the parking lot, but that didn't bother us.
The spa and wellness area was really great. The pool, for those who really want to swim a lot, is a little too small, but it's actually more about the wellness and relaxation factor. Outside there was a whirlpool and various saunas as well as a relaxation area. Here, too, everything was very clean and very well maintained. We really felt very comfortable in the spa area.
The spa area had a small restaurant with nice seats on a small terrace. We were able to play cards undisturbed and have fun while drinking a wonderful smoothie. It was just fantastic and tasty and freshly made.
The service throughout the hotel was excellent and very friendly. Towels, drinks, a little small talk - everything was possible. Every wish was read from our eyes.
The breakfast buffet was awesome! There was a large selection at the buffet and a live cooking station. There you could order fresh scrambled eggs, pancakes, pancakes and omelets in various designs.
Also in the evening the restaurant was a really good place to dine. We had a four course surprise menu. (on 2 different evenings) With wine accompaniment. We were really excited. The service was friendly and accommodating. The food was well cooked and well prepared.
However, if you expect something experimental, you will unfortunately be disappointed here - it is very solid, upscale French star cuisine.
It's been almost a month since we were there and I still think back to the wonderful time.
That was definitely not our last visit to this hotel and we are definitely looking forward to the next time, best regards to the great service staff

The hotel rooms are big and modern, I would rate the hotel as a 4, but the Spa is the worst I have come across, including the treatment they offer. Room cleaning two days in a row did not rwfill the coffee, sugar and creamer or bring clean cups, had to call reception every time. This place really has a staff problem.
Very little space by the pool, exactly 6 chairs to sit on or put your towel, no place to hang them. Sauna space for 4, hot tub for 6 shoulder to shoulder. The staff was unfriendly amd totally disorganised, some clearly had not been trained.
As for the treatment, had a full body masage where I felt I was being tickled, not massaged. Also was not asked about injuries or illness, not whether hard or soft massage, nothing, just come in and get started. Electronic beeper for the time keeping (very annoying) and an electric bed they moved up and down for themselves with a loud wining. No relaxing spa at this place!

Would have been a great stay if not the service at the hotel. We arrived on time, however we had to wait for half an hour till we could check-in, because the room wasn't clean yet. And even then, the executive suit that we've booked wasn't fully prepared for our stay. The communication at the reception was quite poor. Definitely not a 5 start hotel experience.
However, the spa was nice, and the dinner at the restaurant was good too.
5 Sterne hab ich nicht gesehen, leider. Der Spa Bereich ist eher bescheiden. Zudem lag auf den Regalen dick der Staub drauf. Preislich ist es schon 5 Sterne. Naja, empfehlenswert ist was anderes.

The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The beds are really comfy, and the bathroom is very nice. The spa was fantastic, with everything from a hot tub and pool to a Turkish steam bath. The place is rather pricey, but I think you definitely get what you pay for.
Very good place for big groups. We had an excellent Christmas Lunch for about 60 people.

Nice hotel with Spa experience. Interior of the room was ok, expected more. Bad service regarding the deposit payed by credit card. After 2 Weeks the money is still not on our account instead of 2 days!

Great layout and good overall impression only the parking costs with 12,50 per day are very sobering!
