Rooms were great and staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

Clean and comfy king suite. Excellent view of mountains. Nestled right in between a whole cascade. Dog friendly. Eddie slept good.

Nice hotel with a great view, all staff very friendly. Highly recommend the hotel, the one exception being the WiFi is spotty and not great, not enough of a detractor for anything less than 5 stars.

Room was clean and comfortable. The bed sheets were on the thin side. Breakfast is not included. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Overall, though, i think I'd choose Best Western over the Holiday Inn in the future.

Professional and courteous staff. We booked for new years eve and had to change rooms, and they were attentive to our desire to have a seemless room change in a timely manner.

Rooms are clean, spacious and fairly modern. We stayed in a suite with a king bed and a separate living room. This works great for us as we have small children, so we're not sitting in the dark after their bedtime. The hotel is in a good location just a few minutes drive from main street downtown.

Very easy to access from the highway with great view of the mountains. Rooms were clean, but the check-in area could use some upgrading.

Holiday inn Canmore is located just off the motorway and is easy to get to, it is about an hour from Calgary and YYC airport. There is plenty of parking around the hotel and it's only a 5 minute drive to the town centre, or you can walk there in 20 minutes. The hotel has a fabulous view over the surrounding mountains, whilst being close to both transport and town so it is a great base for exploring the area. The lobby is on ground floor with a breakfast restaurant and a small business centre and on the back of the hotel there is a hot tub. In the basement there is a small gym and a guest laundry room. The rooms are big and so are the bathrooms and there are power points at the right places. If you book the third floor suites, you get nice duplex with a jacuzzi. The suites have a small kitchen with a microwave if you want to cook you own food. Overall a nice hotel with nice staff at a good location, and it is normally on a good rate both for cash and redemption.

Very accomodating and friendly hospitality. Rooms were clean, well kept. Views are amazing. If skiing/snowboarding they offer a storage locker but you need staff to access it. They also allow you to bring your gear up to the room. Hot tub is outside, cool experience, but only when they remember to put the cover on overnight...otherwise you take a luke warm bath. Access hallway to hottub passes the restaurant, a little uncomfortable when walking by in a bathing suit.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. However, it would have been nice if the rooms had more than 1 k-cup of coffee in the room. I know I could of asked for more, but I didn't feel like making the effort. Again, it was a still a pleasant stay.

The room was clean, well set up and the view was amazing. There is only one elevator on one side of the hotel so if you are on the other side it's a long walk. There also weren't any bathrobes in the room and you have to pass by the restaurant and front desk to get to the hot tub so it can be slightly embarrassing.

Great room amenities, amazing location. Had Covid-19 prevention measures in place.

Canmore is a beautiful town. The Holiday Inn is no exception. We wished the amenities were open, but there is nothing anyone can do about that.

We had a great stay. Nice clean spacious room with a very comfortable king bed in our loft. The free breakfast was the best part, delicious too! Thank you for making our weekend great!

There were a few things that made this a 4 star stay, but after being allowed to store my freshly bought bike with them I felt they deserved a huge plus plus. The restaurant had good food, beds were clean and the only issues we came across was the horrendously noisy AC unit, a ripped screen, and water that was dripping out of the tap. The location allowed us to take the back way into Canmore which is fantastic since it puts you right at the Tim Horton's!!! Other then some construction we found it quite managable. Sadly no pool or hot tub, but hopefully that will come soon.

Fine and clean hotel with nice rooms. Shame the restaurant was closed for dinner.

when booking the rooms i got the rooms for 190 $ and they actually charged the room for 270 on the card....................

Hotel is beautiful! It was lovely. However, the front desk needs a little bit of work. There was a guy who worked on the day shift of Friday May 20th (who wore the name tag Kristen) was rude and impatient as we were checking out. I expected better service from places like that. I also asked for recommendations around the area and he just threw the map at us and told us that the visitor center. What kind of service is that!?!

I have done a detailed review of my stay on Aug. 18 &19th in response to the email I received. I have requested a call back as a follow up regarding my stay. However it is not posted nor anyone have contacted me as of yet . Big time over priced for what you get at this location. Request for an upper level room was not even considered or looked at as they were filling in after for higher prices !!!

It was good. Pretty dead when I went so the restaurant was not busy. The food at the restaurant is pretty good, worth it for dinner.

Great place but no continental breakfast..... odd for a holiday inn especially for the price point.

We previously stayed in a renovated room and liked it which is why we rebooked for this trip. This time however we got a room that was not renovated, it was incredibly grimey and dusty! We had stains on the sheets and the washroom had a very strong mildew smell. The shower looked dirty and the shower curtains also had brown stains on them. Everything was incredibly worn down, and really unpleasant. There were also stains on the desk and nightstand that we could wipe away..so it didn t feel like the room was properly cleaned /sanitized which made us feel very uneasy especially during covid . Hard to believe it was the same hotel we stayed in before as this room seemed like a very cheap motel. Luckily it was only for one night, we got out of there as soon as we could the next morning.

The experience at the hotel was good. From room service to the place all went well.

No bar/rail in the shower, making it unsafe. Water splashed on the tile floor making the floor a skating rink. Was very upset at both. I slipped on the bathroom floor, having a bad back, the last thing I needed was to jar my back. Will not be back unless the there is a bar/railing in the shower. Not sure what can be done about the floor. I would have emailed my concerns but could not find an email address.

Loved staying at this hotel. The views are great, room was clean, and the tub was a great way to end a day of hiking.

The rooms are very clean and the customer service was amazing! I would just recommend not eating at the restaurant. Pretty much the worst food I've ever eaten (nothing to do with the staff there - serving staff were great!).

Nice property. Rooms were clean and service was friendly. Room prices are high, but are more or less average for the area and time of year.

Average hotel. Clean and quiet. It's a little far removed from Canmore. You can't really walk to anything and it is right off the highway. Convenient if you are diving to Banff every day. There is a restaurant inside but I didn't try it while I was there.

Bed is shot! Stiff as a board and I like a firm mattress.

Good location near Banff for cheaper price. But bar/restaurant closes way early, and there's no convenience store inside the hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and rooms were clean. Hotel was in a nice location. However, we were failed to bring new soap and shampoo on our first day so we had to go through the minor inconvenience of calling the front desk for more, which they were very courteous about.

On the other side of the expressway in the urban area, the quality of the room finishing needs to be strengthened. It can be checked-in, but the room is still not finished. In the next few days, there is less coffee, shower, shampoo, etc., and the basement has coin-operated One laundry dryer

Staff were super polite and helpful when my mum's card started messing up and helped us troubleshoot payment. The room we stayed in was beautiful, had super comfy beds and some oh-so-lovely air conditioning. At first impressions I can highly recommend!

The location is good, got good view of mountains.
The front desk staff were very helpful. Gave all the information and suggestions of places to visit.
The cleaning staff was a polar opposite. They couldn t clean rooms until 6 PM.
The room carried a weird smell throughout the stay. After the room was cleaned, the room was not fully closed and locked. We let the towels hanging so that we can reuse them. They were folded back as if they were freshly laundered. Nothing was cleaned properly.
Will be looking at other options for next time.

Located on the edge of canmore with quick access to shops and attractions. Service and facilities were good. There was a small mixup with the room but the management quickly and sufficiently dealt with the issue.

My earrings is missing here Put it on the hotel table. I went to play and returned to the hotel only to find it was gone... Please don't deposit valuables in this hotel.....

Nice clean hotel. Plumbing was very loud, you heard whenever someone used the plumbing in adjacent rooms.

Staff were nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Decor and facilities were dated. I would stay here again. I would suggest the hotel purchases a few more laundry machines. Quality laundromats with 24 hour availability are basically nonexistent in Canmore.

Catering and service was good. The conference room was in the basement where reception was very spotty.

Clean and accessable to all the tourist attractions in the area.

Room is nice size 2 beds, 1 chair with foot stool. Enough room to put a playpen next to tv. Has fridge, microwave, desk. Great location. Good food with fast service.

Holiday Inn comfort in a mountain chalet setting. The front desk is top-notch. They booked in and accomodated our conference with little difficulty. There were some scheduling gaffes, but nothing serious. There is a great forno pizza restaurant in house- I recommend the greek salad to start. The rooms look brand-new and are super clean. Very comfortable beds with a choice of soft or firm pillows. Our room had a large enough sitting area for us to have guests visit. I think this might be one of the best values in Canmore.

It was New Year's Eve so check-in was crazy! There was a literal line up looped around the lobby and social distancing was as not strictly enforced. However, the two front desk clerks serving the clients did an amazing job considering the pressure they were in. Kodus to the both of them!

I am a Spire Elite member and so as my friend and we booked 3 rooms between the two of us. As always, our paperwork and rooms were ready when we got to the counter but they changed the rooms on us even though the keys were clearly already assigned to us prior to us getting there as the keys were already inserted in the folders. We had to wait a few more minutes until they got us new rooms. It was a little bit frustrating but totally understandable.

Notwithstanding the chaotic check-in experience, this is still my favourite hotel in the Rockies since it's the only IHG property in the area.

The rooms are showing their age but the location is perfect and the views are always spectacular.

I will come back once again when I'm in the area.

Worst hotel I stayed at. Shower didn't work. Took them 45 mins to find another room. Room was not cleaned the next day. Staff have very bad English. Called 3 times down to figure out what was happening with the room and kept getting hung up on. No room discount for all the problems at all... extreamly bad service.

Great location. Rooms are clean and staff is great.

Hotel was okay but a little bit run down. Very noisy you can bear everyone passing by very loud and clear. In addition it makes very loud noises if the shower in the neighbor room is on.

The rooms are recently renovated and the service was great!
