Favorite hotel in London. The staff treat you like family, and the service is genuinely excellent. Feels like a retreat.

Very picturesque hotel. All amenities have been upgraded. Awesome idea with the minibar setup placing a free bottle of water and snack instead of expensive alcohol and snacks to buy. The mini bottles of alcohol can still be purchased but must be ordered via room service.
Really nice all around. I didnt have any of the food on my one night stay but the building & lobby were beautiful, the room was fine. It might have been just me but the flooring used in the room entrance by the bathroom was very slippery.
Very warm welcome room at the top nickel breakfast and awesome hotel location you are next to everything on foot! To really do
Beautiful room. Friendly staff. Only stayed one night as husband had a job to do late at night in Oxford street. Will definitely visit again. My son had stayed there before and he said the food is fantastic.
Enjoyed the room, comfortable bed, nice staff, lovely dining, as said before, members of the staff would sit down and talk with us, get personal, lovely!
My wife brought me here for afternoon tea. Beautiful hotel and lovely afternoon tea. Service was great aswell.
I stayed here in August of 2016 for a few days while visiting London. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and it was very conveniently located (a few blocks from Buckingham Palace, the tube station, and Westminster Abbey.) The rooms are small in comparison to most cities I have been to, but I m not sure how it compares to places in the UK, as I have only visited London. Despite being small, the room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and had plenty of selections. We really enjoyed the visit.
The room was incredible in a bad way... Inside the Hotel ... I mean really inside! The window was fake and could not be opened for fresh air. But the price was very expensive.
Gorgeous hotel, brilliant staff. Highly recommended!
This hotel was perfect for our recent visit. The location was key and allowed us to walk almost everywhere, which was important to us. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. Would stay here again and recommend to others.
Good hotel, fairly well located, great service, somewhat expensive. Overall would stay here again, but it's important to find a good rate, as at times it can be extremely high. Breakfast at their restaurant is delicious, would recommend stopping by. Service across the board was terrific. Also, be sure to check-out their beehives on the 3rd floor!
Fantastic hotel, beautiful rooms and friendly staff.
Location of the hotel is perfect! Liked the breakfast - only complain being - rooms are tiny! Was expecting a platinum upgrade but didnt get any.
Stunningly beautiful hotel all lit up for Christmas !! Amazing staff and service and perfectly centrally located smack inbetween Buckingham palace and Westminster Abbey. One of Marriott's Autograph Collection Hotels so could use my points
One of my favourite place to visit every now and then. The staff is very welcoming . The drinks and the food is amazing. They have large collection of wine. The price is reasonable. I will highly recommend.
Very spacious beautiful view not far from bus stations.Great T.V. Channels. Food was okay Pizza wasn't good but the pasta Delish. St Ermins is near Buckingham Palace and St James park where you can feed the ducks and squirrels and get some snacks in the middle of the park. I would recommend St Ermins Hotel to anyone staying in London it's a 15-20min drive from Heathrow airport.
Location is fantastic. It's within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Westminister Abbey, and the Churchill War Rooms. The staff are all extremely polite and the food is incredible.
Abysmal water pressure in the showers. Aside from that a lovely hotel.
The St. Ermin's Hotel is an all around beautiful hotel. The rooms are lovely and it is centrally located near the sites and food.
Excellent hotel by St James's Park, 2 mins from station. Visited for a short London break Oct 2020, have to say seemed fairly empty and perhaps because of that - and mentioning it was my wife's birthday - we got a glass of champagne on arrival and an upgrade to a suite. Cannot fault the hotel for anything and always felt very "Covid protected " at all times. Great staff and service, well worth a visit, especially if you can get a late deal because there are some great offers around at the moment. Good bar, full English breakfast on our final day kept us going until supper. Recommended.
Absolutely love this hotel. The Staff are outstanding and the whole place is just what I am looking for on the road.
We stayed in a family room and attended a wedding at the hotel. Service was excellent, however the room and bathroom were small and a bit dated. The wedding was lovely and organised well. If you don't want woken up by the cleaners at 9am make sure you put the 'privacy please' sign on the door before you go to bed!
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location in the heart of Westminister. 5 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace and 10 minutes to Westminister Abbey. Nice courtyard. Luxurious and very elegant interior. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast room nice, food good. Fancy tea saloon. Rooms (had a junior suite) very clean and nice in shape. Sometimes a little bit too loud, probably because of the old building.
Location, perfect. Staff, very attentive to all needs. Luxurious room with amenities was the best.
We were visiting to meet friends. The ambience is great. The room itself was well maintained but small and crowded.Going from lift to room was like a maze. The reception area feels friendly and cozy ornate.
A wonderful staff. The hotel has so much charm. But so far, every staff member we've encountered has been top notch. In addition, they really treat Platinum Marriott members very well.
Hotel very clean, staff professional and polite, food was good, drinks a little expensive.
Terrific hotel in a great location with very attentive service.
Hotel is very beautiful. Our room was very clean! Wonderful full service! Very helpful staff! Close to everything.
Great place to stay ,centrally located, lovely rooms , and comfortable beds. The lobby is stunning, staff have been friendly and happy to help in any way. Would recommend to anyone.
Both hotel lobby and rooms are very nice. The Concierge Juan was very helpful and insightful when it came to the tourist attractions. Only negative is that on thursday night when the hotel wasn't very busy I had asked to switch my room type to 2 beds instead of 1 king as my mother was staying with me for the first night. The front desk staff charged me 75 pounds just to change room types even though their occupancy was low. This was an obvious method to gauge money out of me but I did not complain and took the charge. They asked me if I wanted the second night with two beds I would be charged again and I had told them I would only need 1 bed for the second night and did not want to take the charge. The agreed to move my room the next night, however the next morning when I had already packed and went downstairs to change rooms the gentlemen at the desk said they were keeping me in the room with two beds and voiding the fee for the second night. My question is why was there a fee to begin with, with such low occupancy and if it was voided the second night why wasn't it voided for the first??
What a lovely looking place. Very warm and welcoming and cosy for winter. Lovely staff and a genuinely serious approach to serving tea. As a tea geek that impresses me. Would expect this to be a five star but I have not seen it all.
Great hotel with classic interior. Beds are confortable.
Superb service at a classical style hotel with traditional cozy interior and nice courtyard entryway. I was lucky to get a suite which was delightful.
Beautiful hotel, centrally located for great sight seeing.
Our breakfast was included.
Excellent hotel with a lot of history. The room I had was large for a central London hotel. Close to Westminster and Victoria
Came here for afternoon tea. Service was good but the sandwiches and desserts were average at best. The building is old but decorative and compliments the afternoon tea setting.
Great 4 star hotel in the middle of London. Excellent rooms and very helpful staff.
Lovely hotel with elegant entryway, extensive buffet, and convenient location.
Amazing hotel for our first visit to London. Everything was wonderful, our first Xmas and NYE in London.
Went for afternoon tea. Service was wonderful and food/tea was delicious!
unbelievable awesome.place. historical with the whole spies WW2 HISTORY. Can't believe Ian Flemming drank here. And drank and drank and drank... Great staff. Attention to details by staff is SUPERB. Top notch experience from.checkin to.check out. Staff remember your names and likes vs. dislikes.. staff offered free umbrellas on rainy days.. check out the bee terrace on 3rd floor great for kids. Buy the honey. But the Old floors in rooms creak. And creak. And creak... Spooky stuff early AM haunted who knows with that spies history... it's crazy energy.. . BUT overall Soo impressed. Autograph collection of hotels is GREAT value for your money... Kids loved the complimentary yo yos and books. It's not a kids hotel but wow the potential for families.. Would love if they offered tours of roof top garden. Centrally located to EVERYTHING of value.. especially tube station, Westminster Abbey and walking to playground at St.James park for kids Restaraunt staff so talented with attention to details... WE WILL DEFINETLY BE BACK.. hat's off to bell staff like Steve, GM Douglas and entire staff... cheers mate!
Fantastic location and good staff. I visit every so often on business and the hotel is very comfortable (not luxury). Excellent location - near Victoria Station and Underground. Good staff.
Everything about this hotel is top notch, from the service, to the location, and to the rooms. As first time visitors in London, we are so glad we chose St. Ermin's, they made us feel extremely welcome and special. Highly recommend!
The people were extremely helpful and lovely. The hotel is absolutely beautiful as well.
Went for a drink in the hotel bar and waited 10 minutes for bar service, staff passing through said they would get someone but they never materialised.
Really cute and special feeling hotel. Or room want anything special but the staff was friendly and the charm of the place can't be denied.
This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The rooms, the food, the location...all perfect. But my highest accolades are for the staff. Each and every one was unfailingly polite and accommodating, friendly and helpful.I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits London.
Great hotel, friendly staff. Elevator is a bit small and narrow. Clean and spacious rooms.
Ups, nice , not an waw, but expensive and no breakfast
Very close to all the famous places you may wish to visit in London
Really good afternoon tea here, we had a lovely private table just outside the main room overlooking the hotel foyer. Everything was perfect except the staff were clearly understaffed with only two waitresses manning the entire area including the main room so our bottomless champers weren't so bottomless as we were left waiting with empty glasses! I think we only had 2-4 glasses in the 2 hour slot we had which was a shame. But I would recommend going as the sandwiches and desserts were reeeally exquisite and some of the best I have ever had!
A nice, tidy, allowing easy access to 100 meters of St.James
Lovely rooms. A real step back in time. Made me look more Bond than I am!
Great location. Walking distance to main touristic places
Very nice hotel near Parliament in Westminster. Quality food and good service. I had a meeting there and it went very well.
Great upscale hotel with great location close to St James Park underground stop and walking distance to Westminster abbey. Our room was clean and perfect for us, staff were friendly, room service was tasty, and the overall look of the hotel was very nice. I only wish we could have stayed longer to check out their afternoon tea. FYI on Friday s they test their fire alarms. This was one thing they neglected to mention to us when we checked in on a Friday and took naps after our long flight. We were startled awake during our deep sleeps, but I guess it s also good they do weekly tests!
Everything was wonderful except that they refused a vital package that I needed.
Very good hotel with good service however it took a very long time to get drinks etc. which we ordered to the table, so it ended with us canceling these. In addition to this opportunity, orders worked just fine. The breakfast was ok but I lacked good bread and toppings, way too much "bread like, buns etc."
Stayed here for a couple of nights last year over the Xmas period. It was a great choice, amazing location, superb high tea with excellent gluten free option for my wife. Rooms was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend to friends.
Beautiful, clean, elegant with a location favoring tourism. Would look to stay here again.
Strange experience, only couple eating in large restaurant, food very average, wine list good, staff disappeared....... Hope they've been found!
