Loved the place, it was spacious and the breakfast was really good. Would recommend Hilton for someone , who wants to avoid the hustle and bustle of sandton to go there as it is a few kilometres from sandton city mall

Rooms are stuffy and it doesn't feel like a gateway place to stay.

Poor service ever!!!! I would never recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy. I don't know why they're in Sandton in the first place with such shocking service. The gowns are old and torn. Bath towels are the worst
The Hilton hotel is located in the heart of Sandton. The building's lobby is ornate and eye catching. Check-in was effortless, i checked in via dedicated lane for Hilton Honors elite members. I was addressed by my last name and was promptly informed of my upgrade to the executive lounge. The executive floor's lounge is closed so breakfast was either delivered to room on order or eaten at the general restuarant, this was rather crowded with social distancing a little off and service could be a little slow due to numbers of guests eating and the chef(1) can easily get overwhelmed with making customized orders for each guest. So if you are in the executive room or have Diamond Medallion status, in room dining is better. The evening drinks and snacks are a good touch. The building could use some touch up, the TV in the room is very dated and not smart. My room had an LG TV that's at least 10 years Old, for my entire stay 5 days, i couldn't use Netflix, stream contents from my phone. The staff where excellent, management can improve the facility by improving the pool and lawn tennis areas, touching up the building and removing the dated furniture in the executive floors.
As a fitness trainer I could hardly imagine a hotel with such well facilitated fitness center plus a tennis court. I have visited hotels that are within a walking distance to a tennis court but this Hilton exceeded my expectations. It is hard to maintain such high standards.

The place is beautiful... The service was poor, I had made reservations few days before. As my wife n i entered the restaurant the first thing we were told the menu we expected to eat for valentine's day ran out lol.. We sat with no waiter to attend to us, we decided to go else where.. On our walk out I thought let's have a shot. Ordered 2 tequila for my love n I, asked for the bill, gave the bar man cash and waited forever to get change. I then asked for the cash back n paid by card... The main menu is really sad to read, was put off, Hilton Sandton not for people who expect excellence for their money's worth. We ended up having an awesome valentine's night getting lost etc
I've not stayed here but several overseas guests of mine have and were very happy with it. The restaurant and bar are good and the location is good if you have business in Sandton.

Honestly there better hotels close by. There nothing overly wrong with it, but it doesn't match up to its competitors, especially for me on layout.
2014 one worker took our perfume, drinks from minibar, money and a clipper, air con was faulty, besides this sad episode, i loved each and every minute there, great breakfast, staff, etc...

My expectations were certainly not met for Hilton standard. Had to request for shower cap and bathroom rope before it was brought. Still battling them for a refund of my deposit which I was asked to make before my wire transfer was received. I am being told to request a letter from my bank for the refund which I psid with my card. Ridiculous!!!

Very nice hotel.The rooms are immaculate and spacious. The breakfast was very tasty and varied in terms of varieties.I can say that every guest from any part of the world was addressing. Shuttle service which moves to Mandela Square every half hour from the hotel is also a big plus.
Only went to eat. What is served is good but all services are outsourced so changes are difficult.
I have not stayed here yet. However i have done some work at this hotel and it is top notch....the staff are friendly and helpful. I cannot wait to work here again. Love the setup and ambiance. Location is great very close to Sandton city and the Mark extremely convenient location to access both malls.

Nice enough Hilton as you d expect. Good views over Johannesburg and proximity to Sandton is useful.
