Hilton puerto Vallarta Review

Good hotel to rest, food leaves much to be desired to be a Hilton, children are not accepted in the specialty restaurants.

Went there for a wedding with my whole family. Staff was friendly but our rooms were not ready upon arrival. most of us had to wait in the lobby for hours. a few of us had to get our rooms changed because we didn't get what we paid for. overall I was mostly disappointed in the food. Only thing my husband I enjoyed was the breakfast because they had an omelette station and made your eggs to order. won't be coming here again.

The service is very good, the pillows are delicious, but they lack a variety of food and a little privacy inside the rooms

No entertainment at all. Food was the worst ever. We had to go out and eat due to lack of options. Everyday the same food and it was all just terrible. For a hilton they should definitely have more options we were literally starving everyday thinking what can we do to get over the hunger.
Barmens dont know how to do proper drinks that was also very dissapointing. Puerto Vallarta is very nice for a family vacation but the hilton was just not worth the money we ended paying for a 10 day stay.
We talked to other people who were staying at the property and they were all complaining about the same things. Especially the food!
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice place. The beach access is a plus. There are for restaurants inside which you have to reserve the food in the restaurants were not that great. The buffet place was great. In fact we ended up at the buffet place most of the times even after going to the restaurants. There is an adults only section called as Hacienda. Nice pool side bar there. But no beach view from Hacienda. Beach is only 50m away through the regular Hilton though.

Great service. Comfortable beds. Relaxing pool. Gorgeous view of the bay. We had a great time and appreciate the staff!

Loved the close location to the airport. Uber was easy to use.. Our room had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Food was Devine. Service staff was top notch. Loved every minute

The impeccable room, the good food, the excellent pool, heated, I stayed at Hilton la Hacienda.

The hotel is beautiful, the only one it has is the buffet, for an all-inclusive they still lack a lot of variety.

They need better housekeeping. But other than that beautiful resort..

Excellent resort with great location and super friendly staffs. We booked all inclusive package. It's our anniversary trip and the staff provide us the best service and surprise after our dining. Buffet changes everyday. The sushi bar is very tasty with awesome view. Fogo Brazilian restaurant was good and meaty. Still have four more days to go. Still Need try French and Mexican restaurant in Hilton. Look forward to it very much.

1. No towels in room. Requested waited one hour. Went downstairs and got myself

I wish that I could recommend this place to everyone. Sadly, I warn you to spend your money elsewhere in hopes of a better vacation than we are having. I read the comments about the bad food and thought....well, all all-inclusive resorts favor quantity over quality, these people are probably being overly picky...but somehow the Hilton has taken bad food to a whole different level. But the main reason I say buyer beware is that the restaurants and bars are grossly understaffed and their system of getting drinks and food out is just ridiculous and doesn't make any sense. Think waiting an hour and a half just to get a cold, inedible entree. I thought...maybe they are just having a bad night....but it was repeated the next night, and the next. And the staff did not seem the least bit phased. The buffet is also a very frustrating experience...they regularly run out of plates and food. The only edible item at breakfast is a made to order omelet. Plan on waiting in a long line and even then it might have shells. Ugh. But the worst is that the servers act like you don't exist. I flag one down to ask for a water and diet Coke. 15 minutes later I remind them I asked for a drink. 10 minutes later they bring out, watered down flat Coke. This is not just one case. We have been here 8 days and this is the experience at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The servers and staff are spread way too thin. It is so bizarre. This is not what I expected from an all inclusive and certainly not what I expected from hilton.

Buyer beware. I wish I had listened to the other reviews that said the food was terrible but really the level of service has made this vacation so disappointing. The room is great, the pool is great, the beach is great but don't expect to get a drink with your food or be able to sip a soda on the beach. I splurged for a luxurious room, ocean front with a hot tub on the balcony and I have happily tipped anyone that will help me. I am not being cheap here. I don't mean to boast, I just wanted you to understand that even tipping has not brought the level of service that would be barely acceptable.

For heaven's sake Hilton , if you can't staff the place enough to have servers give your guests drinks and food then please make it so guys can get their own drinks and food , I will happily serve myself.

As I sit by the pool or at dinner the other guests are sharing my sentiment as I can see others frustrated with the same issues around me. Hilton, you are really missing the opportunity to have a pretty great thing here. So disappointing.

Great area, great resort. All inclusive. Pay the extra to stay in the adults only area, the other pool stays crowded with kids. Loved the swim up bar, the sky bar, and the lounge bar on the 5th floor of the suites. Great times and memories! It is right in the center of town and a quick Uber ride from the malecon and other shopping

Pleasant place excellent service, all the variety of delicious foods I loved.

As a hilton honors member I'm very disappointed. Old, rundown, subpar hilton. Lacking maintenance and messy service despite being friendly. The food is awful. The pools look murky on both sides, the main hotel and the hacienda side. No towels at the pool warm champagne. Friendly staff though inconsistent.... I can go on and on but you get the point. Sad to see a Hinton property this bad.

It is very nice I liked it very much the only thing is that you have to pay the internet for the rooms.

Great place to have a quiet getaway with or without the kids. The resort is very clean and the staff is super friendly. I would give it five stars but they need to do a better job on notifying the guest when there s an issue with something at the resort.

Beautiful property, excellent food. The front line staff is consistently on top of things. The negatives, we had to wait until the second day of our trip to obtain a safe for our room, and some lack of communication problems, not due to language barriers.

Overall, we recommend the Hilton Puerto Vallarta, it's friendly staff, and beautiful scenery.

Charge For room service, it takes 45 min, 6.5 night menu, little very little variety,
Bufette of day in very rich restaurant, drinks also.
Conclusion, they lack experience in everything included.

It's a very relaxing space. I enjoyed the experience, The food was great and the pools were relaxing. The main building is a bit dated. The staff have a tendency to forget requests for water but they will keep the alcohol coming.

For the price expected better food and drinks. I watched the bartenders water down cokes. Our room had multiple issues throughout the week. Wasn t bad but wasn t goo either for $350 a night in Mexico. Even the hot dogs were mushy and nasty

Very close to the airport and the Marina where many Tours depart. 15 minutes by truck from the boardwalk. Good food and varied if you hire the all inclusive. Well the beach, small but not saturated. Good customer service. Regular room, bad view the one that touched me although there will be better, I no longer requested it by fiaca. Nice pool but only two and they are small, especially the sushi bar. It is not a big hotel, I would even say small with the minimum necessary but for the price it is a balanced option for an average budget.

The buffet menu is repeated almost daily. The cleaning of the rooms very superficial. My husband spent 2 weeks with severe allergy. The waiters (especially those in the pool) do not take care of you until you give them a tip.
From the positive, the nannies in the kids club are very friendly. The clean pool. The good specialty restaurants. Very good location

it seemed good but nothing spectacular the albera has no bar, the staff of the restaurant nothing but nothing hamable! Previous to this hotel I was in the candles and there until you felt bad about how overly friendly they are the food is good but it is not a hotel that I would return to!

Excellent: all inclusive - thru WestJetVacations CANADA - Adults are more suited inLa Hacienda ( conjoined). Staff and facilities were 1st class. Beach was clean, access was easy - kids swimming pool behind the white poles. Food services most of the day till 10:30 pm. Bus into Centro 20 ps - I'd go again. Nov 2019

Very bad attention, never there food and lousy service in general

I returned to this hotel hoping it will improve as they promised.

The WORST...my wife saw the female janitor soaking the wc scrub in the hand sink, just not possible to happen.

The BAD...again, the food, it is terrible, the taste is practically nothing, it is the same effort to cook with some flavor, just trow some salt with pepper, they just don't, the best is breakfast because they make eggs as you wish.
The drinks...they could put a little more emphasis in extra brands, there is not even 43 licor on the bar, but a cheap clone is, I went safe, bacardi with coke, it taste funny so I stop, change to gin and tonic, the barman just throw things on the glass, not a real cocktail.
I had a towel in my bathroom that you could see through it, there are not enough beach towels, so guard yours.

The GOOD...hotel personal is the best, they are in the best mode to help you make you stay comfortable.
Hotel location is great.

Tomorrow is my check out, if they ask, I will inform all of this to the manager in charge.

The beach is nasty nasty the water is black as can be sand is not nice really hard on feet, no wifi as we were told we did all Included another 60 charge for 7 days we also were informed we had a shuttle to and from airport this is not so please look for a better vacation the Hilton is losing it s reputation

My husband and I went here for a few days out of our honeymoon. We absolutely loved the location and the service. The employees were so friendly and helpful. We definitely want to send a shout out to David Hernandez he was extremely helpful with carrying our bags and suggesting fun things for us to see and do.

The only Hilton in Mexico all inclusive. Hotel for family in the best beach in Vallarta. Excellent attention.

Enchanting atmosphere and excellent food. Perfect place for a special evening. Be sure to check if the mariachi band is playing before making your reservation, the experience is not to be missed.

The property shows its age. That said, the staff is phenomenal. The rooms are clean. The food is as good as you'll find at an all inclusive in Mexico. The upstairs adult pool is incredible. Sushi and Coronas at the pool? Si, Senor!

Buffet is actually quite bad. Pool is ok. Staff is nice and attentive.

Very good Hotel although it is small to others that I know ... the food is delicious if I feel that they lack variety ... and they lack show throughout the week ... it is as for adults as for children.

The good:
* lunch at seafire restaurant
* rooms in both facilities and services
* the service from the staff: there are very professional people in their work
*daily activities

The bad:
* the reception: they changed our room 3 times, because it was not the one we paid for, it stank of water, etc.
* dirty furniture in the lobby and in the pool area (this is incredible)
* Dirty beach, they don't collect the garbage thrown away by the hotel tourists themselves (cigarette butts for example)
* They do not value national tourism when it is holiday season in the USA
* "tips included" but if you do not give good tips in general they do not serve you the same

It needs more variety of foods and desserts with little sugar

I been at the hotel for a meeting, its had a good service and the people who work there have a nice atittude.

It was really great place to have a vacation here at Puerto Vallarta Hilton. All of the staff are amazing, very respectful, service was so great, very attentive and courteous.

Foods and drinks are unlimited.

I wanted to bring my children to have experience this fabulous vacation.

The worst experience we have ever had. The hotel completely ruined our vacation. I m a Gold Status HHonors and will be Diamond after this stay. The problems we had from check-in to today have been unbelievable and unlike anything I have ever experienced with Hilton.

This was meant to be a romantic getaway and our engagement celebration vacation.

The upgraded luxury suite with ocean view has a jacuzzi on the balcony that is cracked. It has a broken switch and could not be turned on or off. There were numerous repair people in and out to try to fix it.

The room was filthy and the furniture has numerous stains. There were no wash clothes and never enough towels. I called for an ironing board and was given the metal frame and a towel as you can see in the photos.

There were no menus for room service. The lampshades are filthy and stained. The room was never properly serviced or the trash removed.

The people at the check-in desk at the time we checked in were terrible and had bad attitudes. I had to open a case with Hilton corporate to get anything accomplished.

They did offer a complimentary upgrade on a second room I had gotten for my brother-in-law and my nieces but it too has issues. My brother-in-law filled the tub and the plumbing leaked and flooded the room. Thankfully it was their last night in that room.

It is advertised as 6 stars I think hardly 3 the food is terrible, but seriously terrible, the service despite being at 30% of its capacity is bad, few if the employees are friendly, I would not improve the food again
