Two years ago I went, and I did not have the best experience, bad food, bad service, but I went back and now this time they improved a lot, the waiters were too friendly, the food in the restaurants was delicious, the drinks were not. ..buenisimas! In general, I recommend it a lot, and I hope they continue to improve more every time!

Beautiful property, worst service ever. I have had much better, enjoyable stays in Best Western and Motel 6. So bad we are leaving early.

I will say the tour desk and room service staff are friendly and polite.

1) It is worth mentioning that we never found the wonderful place that talavera is displayed, nobody explained to us how the hotel is made up, and the different areas it had, they offered us a room that was better than the one we had paid for, however our surprise had mosquitoes and in full Dengue season. It wasn't until our penultimate day that the fumigation was "non-toxic". They offered to change rooms but I had to change luggage and wasted a lot of time in the process.
2) Food generally good, especially dinner, drinks not great.
3) Very friendly waiters and staff and excellent service.
4) very late room cleaning.
Our experience was pleasant but not to consider a 5-star hotel.

Overall I will say that I had a very pleasant time...

Overall I will say that I had a very pleasant time here with my wife having visited in early August. The hotel/resort is well designed so that it feel intimate and yet still large enough to have a positive busy vibe. There are sections for adults and a few of them to choose from. The main pool/beach area is for everyone and seems to get quite busy during the day.

The rooms were in my opinion fairly comfortable and we'll stocked. One point of concern is that some rooms had AC issues where we stayed and as such we moved a couple times. The room refrigerators were not always as cold as they may be in canada/US however it was not that big of deal. Due to my issues with the rooms we were upgraded and once these issues were resolved my stay was quite comfortable.

The food and staff were all quite pleasant and I definitely think everyone at the resort was very friendly and hospitable. Tipping is very important and I found that this mixed with kindness got us some very impressive service which my wife and I appreciated. The food at the buffet was not bad and every day there was an attempt to change things up which is always appreciated. The a large cartes were all pretty good with the French one being my favourite.

The hotel is a nice place to stay. I will agree with some that the standards that you may take for granted in a US/Canadian hotel may not be the same here, I would say that this hotel deserves a good 4/5 stars. Maintenance improvements and consistency in the rooms needs to be addressed but the staff and customer service made up for these short comings to make my stay comfortable and I would not hesitate to return again.

I will never stay here again food sucks..no entertainment what so ever. Charge me 650 pesos for lobster .in town restaurants 450 for lobster. This place has nothing for kids ..just an old person hotel.I've stayed in pv before at the friendly that hotel is way better and worth the money. La cart restaurant there is only 2 .only one buffet .gym is worse them my apt one.trust me book closer to the board walk..I can even believe the hilton would let them use there name horrible

Although most staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel itself need a lot of work on both the hacienda and the main tower sites. Leaky ceiling, non functioning air conditioning, unopenable safe, and noisy mechanical equipment just to make a few. Drinks are weak and food is only so so. We had to change rooms 4 times in one stay due to the problems noted.

The hacienda hotel is super beautiful but the services provided by the hotel were very scarce, the covid left them with little staff, which is reflected in the reception service, bellboys, restaurants, waiters. They charge you for Wi-Fi, parking, the water in the pools is cold.

You can not leave your money in the room you're staying in, because they take the money out of your wallet or they care about the amount they were $ 5200 pesos or maybe a little more I'm not sure bad employee service unless you give them a tip but no less they treat you neither if you want well nor with that.

It is the second time I visited him and everything was excellent, he improved a lot in the attention. The all-inclusive is very complete, it is worth booking at the theme restaurants. The delicious drinks and the rooftop is the best with the sushi. 1000 recommending

The good: The Pool Waiter Mario "the Tiger" the best they can find near him and they will have the best stay.
In general the attention during the stay was good.
The bad: At the reception at the time of check out, the lady who touched us almost ran us, she told us that if we wanted to stay a few more minutes for breakfast we would have to pay an additional night ... When in all the all-inclusive Hilton check out they offer you what to eat before you leave or an additional payment for overtime, but not the payment of a whole night, just for this last detail and the way in which it was expressed I doubt to return.

Hacienda side was great for adults only, but you don't get views of the ocean. For that you need to be on the family side. Check with hotel on what's open/closed (during covid-19) we went thinking everything was open, and only 2 on-site restaurants were open.

Premium drinks and restaurants with excellent meals. I loved the design of the buffet restaurant

Beautiful hotel, spacious Suit Junior Room, clean friendly staff, good and varied food, beautiful swimming pools and an incredible view of the sea, the panoramic pool is simply fabulous and is exclusively for adults, the kids club is very safe to leave guys for a while and have a schedule of activities for children, the beach is beautiful and although its swell is moderate if you can enter with caution, the surf looks calm at noon and until 3pm. Excellent bar service, generally attentive staff, without a doubt my favorite hotel in Vallarta.

Avoid at all cost. You could do much better. Common areas are decent but could use a deep cleaning. Definitely not the 5 star hotel represented online. The Hilton family should be ashamed.

Great service. Hospitality here is very good except they ran out of towels at noon on Friday. We had to fetch for our own at the front desk. Food is sub par. They need to step it up. Sorry but you need to americanize the food. Italian ala cart food not so good either. Rooms are very clean but please spend a little money upgrading them. Pool atmosphere is outstanding. Beach is very nice as well. Hilton please get some tips from Cozamel as their food was outstanding.

I am totally disappointed. Room outdated , furniture dirty and old as a dirt. Air conditioner doesn't work properly. Manager doesn't do anything about it. Room cleanliness very bad. My son dropped cookie and it still on a floor after 3 days of cleanliness. Buffet doesn't have much choice. Just ruined all 8 days vacation. They have totally different pictures on website. Am I coming back? Never ever again.

Everything excellent Spectacular rooms, with jacuzzi on the terrace. The personal is ver kind and helpful. The lounge adults only, excellent, especially the attention of Adal and Carlos along with its good pool and its great view of the flag bay. I congratulate you. Thank you!!

My husband and I visited this resort at the beginn...

My husband and I visited this resort at the beginning of April. We had an amazing trip overall. There were a few problems while we were there like tile work outside of our room and our room smelling like mildew. Besides that we had an amazing trip and would recommend staying here. When we booked our trip we were nervous there wouldn't be enough food options. We were wrong there were many options for each restaurant. We were also nervous there wouldn't be enough to do. Amstar gave us a great deal to do many extrusions. We really enjoyed being able to walk along the beach. The vendors on the beach were not overbearing and one was very nice and helped us out. There was one part that made our trip extraordinary. George in the buffet area was amazing and made our trip better than we could have expected. He always greeted us and got to know us on a personal level. We saw him outside of the hotel and he recognized us and stopped his phone call to talk to us. He is an amazing person and was more than just a worker. He was amazing and made our trip the best.

I hate writing bad reviews .. but whilst the Hotel...

I hate writing bad reviews .. but whilst the Hotel is in a great spot, quite chic and well laid out ... we had problems from the get go with everything from check in to beach towels, room servicing and laundry. The SPA however was amazing as were their staff and the concierge was helpful but it sux having to ask for help at every turn for the basics. Delayed laundry - 3 days and only 2 room services in 5 days. Not buying the 3rd world country excuse ... I paid 1000 AUD per night for 7 nights for our 2 room stay - not cheap. My biggest gripe was the obnoxious guy who handed out the pool towels like he owned them ... the icing on the cake.
On a better note the food was great considering the hotel is all inclusive. The buffet was manageable and there were other restaurants to use - depending on taste.
Would I come here again .... depends what the Sheraton has to offer.

Our first night was not the best. We were giving an "upgrade," in the Hacienda, but the room (175) was filthy. There were cup ring marks on the counters, the fridge barely had anything, there was only one towel, and the shower door still had shampoo stains. The next day I went to use the br, I lifted the toilet seat, and the underside was covered in feces.

I complained and we were moved to room 481 in the Hacienda. This room was much better and the hotel staff apologized for the inconvenience.

Besides that, the pools and views were pretty good. The breakfast buffet is the same everyday, so we got tired of it after the 2nd day. We had a superb waiter, Francisco, and he bent over backwards for us.

The Brazilian restaurant was not really the best; the Italian restaurant was better. We never got to try the sushi bar nor French restaurant.

We plan on going back as overall we did enjoy our stay.

Poor attention from the staff, the waiters are disorganized, and 80% of those who served us were in a bad mood, even those who make the quesadillas outside the main Buffet serve you in a bad mood, they have to walk the captains or managers behind everyone to attend at least a little decent, the rooms were at least clean. The food is regular, there is not much variety, there is almost no seafood and those that are not good, one of the days we had a last water, to ask at the bar and wait for you to attend well you have to give good tips because otherwise the drinks do not prepare them, in a few words what I paid was made a very large amount for the poor attention they give me, I do not return to that hotel.

A spectacular all-inclusive hotel !!!

The rooms are nice and have everything you need, the place is clean and you can sleep well.

Being on the beach is something incredible, you are eating and you have your feet in the sand or you are seeing that immense and beautiful Pacific Ocean in this case guarded by this beautiful bay.

There is a pool in the center where they take care of you very well and they can bring you everything you ask for here.

I recommend the margaritas and the ceviches served in the main restaurant.
