Pathetic.

Pathetic.

Rooms are old and dated.

This day and age I haven't seen the ugly looking Televisions and Phones in any of the hotels that I have enjoyed.

I stayed in the property along with my family [with 2 little kids]. Experience was horrible. We reached the property after a long drive, tired and exhausted.

I had opted for Junior suit. There was no concierge / room boy service to carry our luggage. No trolly services. I had struggle to carry all my lunges as wife was managing kids. Our allotted room was at the far end of the property. Reaching the room that was allocated, we were shocked see that the room has not been cleaned after someone checked out. Food was left on the floor. Tea bags on the table. Used Pillows and linen.

I rang the service, described the situation. There was no words of apologies exchanged. Lady on the phone was rude, she sounded like these things happens and seems guests needs to deal with this. I asked her, who's responsible for this mess and answer was she can ''only arrange another room if guest are not satisfied with the room''.

I had to wait for another 20 mins for someone to turn up and get us to another room.

I'm frequent traveler and this will be my last stay with Hilton. I had left this feedback on the feedback form, left my email id but I haven't got any response from the hotel management. Horrible.

Genuinely great hotel, Gym was small but pretty well equipped. Pool etc. was great. All staff friendly and knowledgeable. Food served was lovely, Emily at the bar was a great convo. Bed comfy, shower hot! Crazy close to the NEC too, like a 3 minute walk. Will stay here again after the next gig

I like the location of this hotel, lovely walks by the lake, with Resorts World shops and restaurants nearby. The food in the hotel is fantastic and the swimming pool is great. The only downside was the loud noise of the air conditioning units outside my room on the second floor, which kept me awake. The room itself was clean, with everything you need and the bed was really comfy.

Sadly this hotel has seen better days. The hotel Wi-Fi needs a serious upgrade for business guests and functions. The gym needs fumigating and if the bar is busy it takes an age to get served

It was "okay" - it seems that I and the Hilton Hotels group have a different idea of what the word "premium" means when describing the room we booked. I assumed it ment it was of a high specification and finish but they seemed to think it just ment "expensive to stay in and refurbished some time ago by a man in a hurry to get the job done". Have payed considerably less for a nicer room from a lesser brand of hotel. Free parking and reasonably quick wifi though, which was nice.

The hotel has close access to the Birmingham Business Park, NEC, Train station & Resorts World. The room I stayed in was modern, but did have problems with heating and I was provided a fan heater. The design of the room is unusual with no divide between the sleeping and bathing areas. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The provided breakfast is excellent with lots of choice.

This place is in need of refurbishment more than ever... come on Hilton - how much longer can you leave it?
Oh, also, mine and several colleagues had rooms that were infested with tiny moths and the events bar was a complete shambles....
Stay at the brand new Moxy hotel instead... knocks socks off this old wreck!

Not 4 star . Bar area littered with rubbish and empty glasses and used plates and cutlery. Check in should be 3pm. 3.26pm rooms still not ready . Executive lounge had very little if anything to offer. Extremely disappointing. Have spoken to 6 staff members so far and all come across rude with the exception of one.

Stayed here again on Sunday night. Upgraded to a wonderful room. That's the good news. From the outside the building looks like either a prison or a parking garage. Inside it is very dated. Air conditioning didn't' work in the room. Hair dryer was built before the invention of a mobile phone. Time not for a makeover, time for a full facelift!

"Hilton" suggests high quality and even luxury, but the only thing high about this hotel are it's prices. Luxury? A hard bed, worn out and dated furnishings and one biscuit per guest - such generosity!
Good points? The room was clean, the hotel was quiet and is close to the arena, plus we only stayed one night.
Hilton say they are currently conducting rolling improvements, but I recommend finding an Ibis, Travel Lodge or Premier Inn which are far more comfortable and welcoming.

Where do I start? the suites ok apart from the two huge airvents blowing cold air into our room with no way of stopping it. the lunch was ok but for the lack of choice. while waiting for our dinner we had drinks but were told we couldn't have more as the "computers were down". dinner? Omg what a farce!!!! The table was booked and when we turned up we had to sit on two tables on two different levels and the managers attitude was very condescending. they then ran out of food!!! We were told we had to go to "the other kitchen" on the other side of the hotel! we complained and were then told they had completely run out of food! this was at 7.30!!! It wasn't just us there was around 100 of our conference group left unfed! How can a hotel of this caliber run out of food? The staff were running round like headless chickens with the restaurant manager from earlier not knowing what to do or say! we are having an official dinner tomorrow and I, for one, am dreading it. come on Hilton, your kitchen staff/management need a swift kick towards training and certain managers an injection of humility. we are a group of 348 with more than half of us very unhappy. is this the way you work? if my staff treated customers and conducted themselves the way yours do they would be out on their ear! Get your act together.

The room I booked was advertised as having a Queen size bed. The room I got had a standard double.

When I enquired with reception I was told it was down to the world wide perception of Queen size bed, as in Europe a bed may be smaller than in America for instance.

I checked on line and there are two interpretations of Queen size, one is of a huge 6 foot wide bed and the other is of a smaller than standard double, like a large single bed.

So why would a hotel boast in its advertising that the room had a Queen size bed as if a couple would enjoy sleeping in the other interpretation of it being smaller than a standard double. Surely you would boast of a huge bed as I believed it to be when booking.

False advertising and a pretty mediocre hotel as well!

Incredibly expensive for what is essentially a very basic hotel. Bed uncomfortable, small, hot room, paper thin walls etc. Clean enough, but I've stayed in way nicer Premier inns at a fraction of the price. The only thing going for this hotel is the proximity to the NEC and the airport. If you want to stay somewhere nice, I'd look elsewhere.

Fancy a vacation weekend away then look no further than the fabulous Hilton hotel in Birmingham , the grand hotel will take your breath away , have a seat in the bar or go for a swim with the kids .

Gentle efficient care and service.
Very comfortable room and good tasty food mostly.
Suggestions - public toilets could do with more frequent disinfection (and cleaning) when there are large conferences.

Large hotel with huge conference rooms for the big black tie events. Expensive for food and the drinks.
Car park is always full and it's often hard to find anywhere to park. The cover charges are high unless you have booked a room.
Some of the rooms were very dated, mainly in the older part of the building l so best to check where they want to put you.
