A great Hilton hotel in a fantastic location just across the road from Edgeware Tube Station. Not cheap but nothing is in London but we were pleased when reception said we would be upgraded free of charge to a superior room - wey hey - only to then find they had booked us into a standard room anyway - boo. I'm now disappointed with what I had booked - over-promised and under-delivered!
The rooms are however great and the pool a great extra when you are staying with kids (or Adults I suppose!). We'll see what breakfast is like in the morning and then it's back to our "standard" room! Highly recommended though and I'll look forward to my free upgrade next time ... maybe! :-)

The room was too small to put your baggage in front of your bed...you can't pass to the other side of the bed !!! Godd staff and breakfast is gorgeous!! Drink at the lobby are very good!

Good hotel in really good location. Unfortunately the 4* standard was not to the level. Good clean place, staff helpful n professional but maintenance was poor. Not all lifts worked and that caused a rush to get in busy packed lifts all the time. Shower holder in room was nearly falling off otherwise a good hotel.

Very nice and comfortable, friendly staff and the utmost professionalism. Friendly and well-furnished hearty places. Excellent bathrooms, beautiful pool especially for children, and good always very clean gym. Absolutely beautiful to go back.

Absolutely the worst Hilton Hotel I have ever been in. We have booked the executive king room. A bed in the room was MAYBE like small queen size. Room was very very small. We asked for change. Then we get a room with big bed but the air con does not work as it should. It was around 29-30 C degrees in the room, crazy! After 3 calls to reception maintenance man came and fixed the air con. For next 4 days we were freezing.
Breakfast was quite good.
Swimming pool was completely dirty and old. Not many people use it, wonder why...
On our check-out day the room keeper came at 8. To clean a room. Then at 9. Then at 9.30. We could not sleep because she did not understand that our check out time is at 12...
No one in luggage room. We had to wait.
Hotel is very big and just because of this there should be GOOD and professional manager. There is not.

Room was in a poor state of repair - broken taps in the bathroom, light switches loose and not working.
Booked for 1 night, but due to personal reasons I had to check out of the hotel late on the first evening. I was expecting to pay full price for the room - effectively a late cancellation. I was not expecting to be charged an additional "early departure fee" equivalent to an extra night's stay.
Seems to be a regular occurrence with Hilton. Will aim to avoid in future.

Big hotel with 2 different blocks of rooms and it's quite popular with tourists especially in the summer where you get a fairly easy access to the center of the city and the lovely shopping 'Oxford' street.

Note: I can only review this as a visitor to the hotel, not as someone who was staying there, because I was attending a conference hosted at this location. The hotel seemed very nice, quite posh, with somewhat unusual decor at times (color-changing twinkling lights in the ceiling seemed a bit more Disneyland space-age than I would expect from an upper-end hotel), but overall it was a lovely experience. Especially nice restrooms and soaps! The printing service was a bit strange (you need to email a worker at their individual work address and they'll print for you), but free, so I can't complain. :)

Hard to believe this is a Hilton. Rooms in tower are ok. Rooms in East wing are terrible. Make sure you stay away from room 338. Mattress is old and lumpy and your view is a boiler room.

So the outside and main lobby are awesome and really nice ,but the rooms are awful unless you get a suite or newer room . Me,my wife and sister in law had to request for new rooms due to a awful smell and mold in both rooms , customer service was awful and they liked to us

Great location opposite the edgware road tube station, simple clean rooms. I was in the tower wing - seemed a little dated and worn but served its purpose. Only downside is that they won't allow food delivered from outside to come straight to the room which is a shame, may well be normal practice elsewhere but I hadn't had this issue staying at any other place in London.

Honestly it s a really bad & unorganized hotel! I stayed here 4 times and my recent stay has been the worst stay of my life! I stayed 23 nights and my room hasn t been cleaned for 5 times which is seriously unacceptable, not cleaning it once is unbelievably so think about 5 times.. when I complained to the guest relations he blamed it on brexit which is a very unacceptable excuse!

Much better then I expected. Room and bathroom looked refurbished. Large room. Very good value for the price. Hotel has an ATM and a small shop which sells convenience food to take out.

The Location and staff are this Hotel's best assets, the location is great to get almost anywhere in London from and found it to me most convenient, the staff are friendly, accommodating and polite. The hotel is tired, overpriced and has focussed on a huge refurbishment of its lobby! Why?

A refurbishment of the rooms is long overdue, has potential to be a stunning location to justify it's current exorbitant prices which I am sorry to say do not match its current reincarnation

Generally the stay was okay. The rooms were a bit dated, but clean. I can not say anything about the food since we did not get there for dinner. It has taken a long time with the 2 working lifts, until it was in the final turn to go to the 14th floor. I was sorry for the people on the 20th floor. Otherwise everything was fine.

A large London hotel and convention centre. Attended a conference here and the food was exceptional and the staff well trained and helpful. Very strong attention to professionalism that does make it feel a little artificial though as an adherence to rule makes for a sterner customer experience than it felt it warranted. However this did not cheapen the experience.

This hotel is a joke. The staff is rude and if you have a maintenance issue to report they ask you "so what do you want?" and "why are you asking me?". They are also extremely dismissive and don't listen to your concerns.

Small old rooms, the air conditioning valve link could sometimes be cleaned. At breakfast, terribly queuing but a good selection. A neat pool, gym small but full of equipment crowded, fortunately, ventilation works so no choking when filled with a bunch of people.

I wasn't to enthused compared to my earlier stay. No fridge - wasn't happy about that. Badly worn our seat & furnishing. Compared to two other Hiltons I stayed at during my stay, Metropole got my lowest score. However good ambience, great concierge staff and ride to airport was on point. Staying at Metropole isn't a bad idea at all overall.
