Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were dirty, cramped, old, and desperately in need of a refresh. It is shelter, of a kind. But overall, very disappointing.

Massive well presented hotel. Great location very nice
Amazing experience attentive staff. Highly recommend
Great location and well connected, staff always available and friendly, good rooms, spectacular view from the twenty-first floor. Recommended.
This Hilton is absolutely luxurious. The service here is excellent as always. Be careful. You can easily spend most of your vacation inside the Hilton.
The rooms are very nice with a premium location in central London with access to all the amenities nearby. The service was also pretty good
Got upgraded to a deluxe room. got to be joking , chipped furniture wallpaper missing chunks one window stuck open but doesn't allow opening for fresh air. Handle missing from wardrobe. Only 2 TV channels working. Shower hose not long enough to reach holder. Expensive farce
The staff is helpful and friendly. There is no Japanese staff so some English skills are required. It is easy to have trouble with the water around because the facilities are old, and even if it is a 4 star hotel, the facilities of the room itself feel like falling down compared to a 3 star business hotel in Japan . Lobby and restaurant are clean and not bad. The transportation is good at both the airport and the city, but the surrounding atmosphere is a bit unique. We think whether you should not expect night views along the highway. You can keep your luggage free before departure, and I think that there is an ATM in the hotel as a safe material.
Gala Dinner in aid of #AbleChildAfrica #AzadAyub #WeAreAllAble
very unhelpful staff. too expensive restaurants in the hotel. bad customer service
Definetely not recommend it if you expect calm and isolated place. People flow is huge. As well, quality you usually expect to find in 4stars hotel is not in place. Rooms are quite "in used" condition, some electricity or water issues are possible.
It is I believe the hotel with the biggest numbers of rooms in London, plus is a Hilton so luxurious too.
Great location for the hotel. Some of the rooms are bit old fashioned and requires restoration.
Vibrant, lively. plenty of places to get some food, both in restaurants and on the street.. plus great pubs for a drink
Having never stayed in a hilton hotel before i had high expectations after hearing brilliant things about them. I stayed 2 nights with family for a break in london to be disappointed massively with what i saw. The bedrooms are extremely old and dated with smudged wallpaper and ripped carpets. The wooden slats on the bed are falling apart and i was even more disgusted to find that when i looked inside the fridge that there was left over fruit and half a pint of milk left too which demonstrated the room obviously wasn t cleaned out prior to our arrival. The view isn t too clever as you are facing a grey concrete wall. There is a small pool available but in my opinion the water is quite cold.
The ground floor where the bar and restaraunts are is beautiful it s just a shame to see things go down hill once you leave the ground floor.
I would recommend the hotel if you want to come for a drink or some food downstairs however i wouldn t recommend the accommodation sector.
Really disappointed as my expectations were no where near met, don t think i will be staying again.
Beautiful, spotless front of house and helpful staff. This also included catering staff who assisted with lunch and refreshments later in the afternoon before the end of the event.
When we arrived we were places in a room that smelled like a smoking party. We complained and the room was changed and it was very nice. Eveyone was kind and helpfull. Restaurants were good. Close to sites. We stayed thete a total of 3 nights. It was quiet considering its lication.
Proper business hotel right there in Central London
very slow in preparing the room and handing it over. not much variation of brkfast. same almost everyday. nice lobby thou. and ok location if u want that side of the city
Hotel is on the good location and staffs are very polite and helpful
Giant place, can be difficult to navigate but generally OK.
High time they need a refurbishment to maintain the brand name HILTON if not very soon it will re christened has Edgware Motel .....
Aesthetically good looking funky building. Quantity service as expected from Hinton.
Beautiful 1st floor. The rest is really poor. Step out of the lift on 10th of Tower block and it's drab. Rooms are basic.heating barely worked and the fan in the bathroom was full of fluff/dust. TV channels basic with poor picture quality. For a Hilton I expected better
Great rooms and restaurant. Nice staff and ambiance.
Rooms need an update. The bathroom made me feel like I was in a hostel by how old and sketchy it felt. My king size bed was literally two twins pushed together. The experience was tragic.
The only thing it had going for it was the close proximity to the metro stop, and it has an indoor pool.
Good because of location but rooms are basic! Nice lobby bar and concierge!
I was at this hotel for one week, I already requested to provide smoking room to me , but at checking time , one of the reception staff told me that is not available at this moment and also they provide me my room at 16:00 , Normally hotel check in was also at 15:00 , that means 1 hour later than normal check in time in worldwide .
I smoked in my room for 1 time and next morning they charged me 100 POUNDS without any notice or warning . after this problem , they provide me the crazy room as Deluxe room , but unfortunately their deluxe room was scandal and so dirty in bathroom and so much smaller than my normal room .
For breakfast time also every time you will wait n Q for around 15 Min and specially more than this on Saturday and sunday .
My suggestion is DO NOT CHOOSE this hotel in london anymore .
Classical Hilton, just a short walk from Paddington Station and thus nicely connected to London Heathrow.
Rooms on third smell pretty bad and if on the wrong side you won't see even a tiny little bit of the sky.
But staff is great efficient and very helpful.
Overpriced, tired rooms. Staff didn t seem to care much. Took 25 minutes to check in. Got some sort of bug bites from the bed, which had a super thin mattress. Breakfast was good, if very busy. Wouldn t recommend.
Aging hotel with outdated fittings and appliances. In need of refurbishing.
Great room and good view, but I refuse to give good reviews to hotels that lock their TV's so you can't play game consoles.
cozy place with good service very good grub a hotel located in the city center close to Victor underground. The same advantages.
We have been at the hotel for 5 nights. It is the third time we spend our vacation in London in this hotel.
The breakfast is full and rich. One of the best that I know. The food is fresh and the service is fast and with a smile. A chef prepares your rich omelette based on your references.
The lounge welcome us along the day. The drink and the food was great.
It looks like the hotel is for you to make you feel good and comfortable.
We'll come back.

Disappointingly small rooms
I remember this hotel about 20 years ago and it felt special, now it feels dated and down at heel, disappointing
I was at a works do, the hotel seemed very nice. They accommodated probably 450+ with what looked like ease using different rooms. Staff etc seemed happy and polite too.
I do not deserve and do not recommend housing in old rooms garbage deceived in viewing photos Buking
Very good hotel and giant in size. Unusual they do not have Internet in the common spaces and being a hotel of that category and price is totally incredibly expensive
Good location, perfect for Business Meetings. Bedrooms are a little old fashioned, could be refurbished.
I worked as a room service waiter at the Metropole, one summer back in the day. We took some pride, I remember, in telling ourselves that while the Metropole certainly wasn't luxury, it was still a high class hotel. Oh well, time passes. I had a room in the Tower, which was already a bit run down in the early 90s. On the 4th flot there isn't much of a tower feeling either. I was looking straight into a wall. The magnetic lock on the door didn't work properly, so I had to go to the reception and queue up for new key cards four times. One receptionist happily told me that the battery probably needed to be changed. If Security ever, actually, came around to change it, I cannot tell. Worst part, however, is the breakfast... You get the felling its all about logistics and cost cutting. If there is any pride in the actually food and service, it doesn't show. All in all, in London good hotels come at a high price. I didn't know I was being cheap, choosing the Metropole. Next time I'll pay the price or chose some place where there is no personal sting to the disappointment.
Lovely staff, great breakfast, rooms are comfortable and bar area is excellent
Nice hotel well located for central London, but a bit pricey
Lovely hotel and space for a huge conference oberseeing hundreds of provocations for early years. The food was also very good. Staff were organised and friendly. Toilets very accessible. Several on each floor.
Great hotel, the staff at the hotel tried hard to help at every turn, delighted the children at the wonderful breakfast. And the rooms were large and spacious
After spending 3 days at a business conference here, the stay was pleasant and very useful for Paddington station (10 minutes walk) and the room on the 20th floor had a great view over London. Staff were friendly and attentive while the conference went very well. Hotel may be due a visual update as it looks a little tired but overall a good experience.
Just had a meeting over coffee which was fine. Shame that the table was very wobbly and we had to move!
Visited this area while touring around london; didn't stay, however it was a lovely area
Good place to base yourself while in London, easy to get around with the 3 tube lines outside, clean, good food, helpful staff, would use again
Picked this place because it s walking distance to Piccadilly station. Rooms are a quite aged and definitely need some refurb. Particularly the bathrooms
Good hotel close Bureau de Change who gives best rates on edgware road next to starbucks inside blue satelite 211
I booked a king suite and was put in a room with two single beds pushed together. My room service food was OK as my pasta was not cooked fully.
