Good service and comfortable hotel rooms. My biggest complaint is the internet, which had absolutely terrible signal on the 5th floor. I would get kicked off periodically while working from my hotel room; certainly not good enough for Skype meetings or screen sharing.

Late review, but nice comfy rooms with clean lobby and shuttles to and from the Santa Ana Airport. Big plus for the mini store inside the lobby for having local brew beers. The bar-restaurant is good too. Overall it s a nice and clean hotel experience.
Beautiful grounds. Despite challenges with reservation (call center didn't have complete info, pkg quotes different, requested fridge unavailable...), staff was courteous & friendly. (I was comped breakfasts during my stay... fabulous buffet!)
We use their largest conference space many times. They are easy to work with in making arrangements, set up and parking. We're still using them. Great job!
I enjoyed the hotel the only problem i had was paying for parking. I dont think its fair we get charge for parking when the parking is there for the customer
They charge extra for everything, including parking. There was s loud high pitched skins coming from the bathroom and there was no ice bucket. The room was clean though.
When I checked in, I had to wait 2 hours for a cart to get my stuff to my room, which I ended up having to take half of my stuff by my own.
the Breakfast I had next morning, which wasn't free and I had to pay for their best option, their best option turned out to be scrambled eggs and potatoes with a tea which tbh hasn't had any taste!!!! the worst breakfast
then let's talk about everyday cleaning cause it was non-existent. I stayed for three days and they haven't clean my room even once.
and the location is not the best, it is noisy and close to airport, if I can go back I would have chosen another hotel to stay which is closer to the Spectrum
From the other hotels that I have stayed at that are near John Wayne Airport I honestly felt a little ripped off. Don't get me wrong the hotel has all the amenities that you look for, a decent front desk and staff (except for one issue that I had which you will read about in a moment) I really believe for a regular Hilton by the airport was super overpriced. The parking was $35 a night the room had the bare minimum ofnthe essentials that you would expect. We had the deluxe room with a king size bed and we found out they gave us a standard room and not the deluxe and we didn't even get a different for the amount when I asked about it. There are better options to this hotel and I will not be back.
I hate this hotel. Charged 24 dollars to park myself and to the way back at that?!?! Second of all these beds aren't comfy..I see why they have the four inch rule for the balcony door so I don't jump off from this ridiculous experience....
Just an average Hilton. There's nothing really special about most of the rooms here. There are some that has been updated, but they seem to be far and few. The conference facilities are nice, but the food is just average as well.
Do not recommend bar/lounge. Ordered a mango margarita and the bartender put jalapenos in it. He said I should have specified NO jalapenos. This was first time here and it would have been a good idea if it was mentioned how its prepared and given me options before assuming I wanted it made that way. Drink was $14.00. My friend ordered a screw driver and bartender put tequila in it when it should have been vodka. That was also $14.00. Since I was not satisfied with my drink, I asked him to remove charge from bill but said he cannot. It was an interesting experience for a birthday celebration. Suggest Hilton management, before hiring bartenders, make sure they know how to mix drinks and most importantly have customer service experience, especially at these prices.
Hotel did s great job overall with our convention. House keeping didnt knock tooo early in the AM. And staff was generally friendly. How ever the kitchen ran out of food the first night fish and even the expensive steak was no where to be seen by friday. Over the weekend the bar went from fully stocked to mostly empty. Next time it would be best if management took seriously the extra load hosting a convention takes on supplies staff and facilities. I am sure this hotel is a perfectly ok place to stay otherwise.
I'm mostly leaving this review because the room service was terrible, not the actual people that brought the food, but I had ordered a BLA (Bacon, Lettuce, and Avocado) sandwich and they only put avocado on half of it. I am actually trying to order room service as I am writing this but the phone just rings and no ones is answering. I thought it was supposed to be an easy process that is more simple than going out and getting food yourself, but this is proving the opposite of that.
EDIT: Room service called me back and apologized for the inconvenience and said that they were very busy today. I will update again when I get the food but for now I'll move it up to 3 stars.
Near the bay, this is a lovely and elegant hotel. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the service is impeccable. The meal was a set-menu dinner that was beautifully presented and delicious. Palm trees are a visual delight. We enjoyed swimming at night during our stay. The staff members are also to be commended for their politeness. It is strongly suggested!
I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel! I won't be hesitant to recommend this hotel because it exceeded my expectations! Plus their rates are also so affordable and they even offer discounts too!
It was pretty decent for a hotel near the airport. The Crystal Ballroom was well maintained and had amenities provided for the event that was held there.
Nice hotel. Good amenities. Highly recommended if you're trip is not in one spot of SoCal. Centrally located. So an alright drive to LA and SanDiego. Nice pool and hot tub area too
Hotel conveniently located near John Wayne Airport. My room was not ready when I showed up, so I got a voucher for an appetizer and drink, but the bar area was not staffed. After 20-minutes, Manager came over to say that server was in an accident. So, I had no way to enjoy voucher. There is no executive lounge. Rooms are large with plenty of power. Refrigerator in room was nice. Ok size TV. $30/night overnight parking is expensive. So tack on $30 to your room charge plus heavy taxes. Not recognized as a diamond member. No waters. Bottled sodas $5 onsite. Truly expensive place to stay with all the extras.
The staff is very rude unless you're perceived as business class. The hotel fails to inform you of the fact "nothing is accommodated from breakfast, parking, etc. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean for, none the less the staff ruined the experience for my daughter and I for sure.
The catering service was very professional and the food was delicious. The parking situation, or so I heard from fellow guests, was a bit confusing for the event I attended, but I did not have to deal with it since I was driven to the hotel. The atmosphere is fantastic in this area and everything seemed to be in order. The placement of the bars throughout the bottom floor of the hotel seemed a bit awkward, but besides that I have no criticism for this location.
Rooms and building are clean and neat. There is no old feeling about the place. it was kind of hard to find the entrance from the road. Overnight parking is $26.
This was a great experience for me. With the COVID restrictions, the staff went above and beyond to be accommodating. There really is no breakfast place there, nor room service, but the wonderful staff made up for it. The night security guard was so helpful, and kind, and I felt very safe. The room was great, the bed and bathroom were superb. I would definitely stay here again!!!
Hotel is old, and noisy being right across from the airport. (I anticipated the noise but didn't anticipate how tired looking the hotel was.) Hallway carpet is old and well used. Hallway walls are white, sterile looking with no decor. Elevator buttons are cracked. Rooms have no mini fridges unless requested. The croissant I bought from the coffee bar tasted stale. When I washed my hair, I collected the hair that fell out and put it on the wall, so it wouldn't clog the drain. Had my room serviced twice, and twice the hair remained on the wall.
The clerk at the desk was very friendly, gave a slip to get continental appetizers that were amazing. Offered free bottled waters for the night. When I took a shower the water remained hot the whole time and didn't get cold. Overall the hotel was nice and clean, I highly recommend this hotel.
Old out of style whole place lobby, rooms everything needs to be remodeled it's pretty obvious the owners are just pocketing the profits instead of taking care of the hotel stay away from this Hilton
The place seemed classy and very luxurious, I was comfortable sleeping and my stay though disappointed at the higher prices and no complimentary breakfast included in the price. also the desk man didn't honor our discount online price I seemed to find, finally was disappointed when the courtesy shuttle didn't know the place I needed to get dropped off at and refused to drop me off at the correct location. something about no time to be correct for me. Very discouraged.
Not a terrible stay, but the parking fee for their open and unsecured lot is pretty ridiculous and stained the experience. This area is not exactly Downtown LA...there's lots of parking around here.
The concierge treated me nicely even though I showed up early they got me into a room so I could get down for some rest. Before I got up to explore the area. I was a bit surprised that parking was an additional $35 a night (and not included). I guess I'm just not used to traveling in areas like this. The room was nicely cleaned and we'll kept.
For sine reason, during both nights of the World Series, the only channel I couldn't get was Fox. It was showing at the bar but not in any of the rooms. As soon as the games were over, it magically started working again. Oh and you can hear people from both adjacent rooms using the bathroom.
