Best store in area! The owner and employees are kind and friendly. Great place to grab hunting supplies and a quick bite to eat. Even better place to hear about the happenings in town. We really enjoyed a wonderful homemade meal at counter.
Will always return each time we are in town.

I previously had good experiences at this store but was insulted by the server for wearing a face mask today. Learn some manners kid. I won't be back.

Excellent staff, really good food, clean and lots of product. It takes you back to the old time general store but with modern touches.

Great lunch today with a small town country store feel

EAT HERE! Don't even second guess it. If only I had a photo of my $8 breakfast. It was HUGE. I had the Chipped Beef on Toast (4 slices of homemade thick bread). To add even more they included 2 eggs on the side - WOW! I would have paid doubled the price. The best part is that the chipped beef and gravy were made fresh per order and it is NOT pre-made gravy. The owner is also absolutely wonderful. She has really made this little OLD store something. Also be sure to go to the back of the store and see some of the local artwork for sale while you are there. I cannot speak high enough about the Hillsgrove Country Store as well as the wonderful people who work there. I went back that evening to listen to bluegrass, but I understand that they have all types of music coming through there. I will go back again just for the people. It's nice to get away from the city.

One stop shop and has WiFi. The people are great and the food is on point.

I have stopped by once and I had a cheese steak sandwich and it was very good.
I couldn t thank for the delicious sandwich to the chef because she was busy.
Hope I can stop by before the winter comes

Just the coolest goldmine for food and charm located in the most beautiful part of Pennsylvania

Really a pleasure to experience and go back in time with a home cooked meal , deli food to go with home made pies and subs . Limited seating and parking but worth stopping for . Pay phone , wi fi and gas pumps .

Quite a change from the old hillsgrove country store. Most of the merchandise has been cleared out, just some groceries and art is left. The majority of the space has been turned into a restaurant. Friendly staff, very good food at extremely reasonable prices. The Italian hoagies are special. Free WiFi, which is hard to find in this area. Try Becky's ice cream just down the road for dessert.

What a surprise! After being away from hillsgrove for too long, to find the old store being brought back with old and new ideas. Breakfast was an awesome experience. New owner is very engaging, even showed me the old safe used in bygone days of hillsgrove. Ask about it, the story is great, along with other bits of history.

New management has really cleaned the old place up and restored it. Excited to see what's yet to come!

Country diner in the front, casting couch in the back, also hick marijuana is common around here not too bad

I went back home for a visit I recommend the hillsgrove country store , the food in the resteraunt is very good Cindy takes pride in her cooking , the only thing is the gas pumps r down ,but otherwise it's a wonderful place to visit
