Well, I just killed a 2" cockroach in our 2nd floor room. Everything is dirty, we have a view of the dirty roof and a window that wont close all the way (its hot) or lock. My kids feet are black from walking on the carpet. The A/C has to be shut on and off to get it to work for short periods. The TV constantly shuts itself off. There are no fridges or microwaves, we had to rent a microwave for $10 a day. No breakfast, expensive room service. Overall, its really bad. Not having a comfortable place to relax after a long day of vacation activities really ruins things.

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay when visiting Sea World. Staff is very gracious and took wonderful care of our little family! Margie at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel at home!

The Spa management will keep your money if you pay in advance. When we asked for a refund for services paid in advance as a gift for my wife they said they couldn't refund my money. I told them I'm sorry, but we decided to take our business else where and requested our money back. I was told no and that I could still receive service from them. I don't want your service. I want my few hundred dollars I paid back and to receive service from a establishment with better customer service. If I could this would be a No Star, because they don't even deserve one.

Stayed there over Indigenous People Day weekend to visit friends. Was extremely pleased with the precautions put in place by hilton. Was very clean and felt extremely safe. The room was perfect size and the bathroom was great and updated. I personally cant stand tub showers so the walk in was great! Service and all was awesome! Just be aware of the daily parking fee.

First things first, I stayed here for 2 weeks due to work, which is always way to long away from home. But let me tell you, there s a reason this is a 4 star hotel. Honestly, deserves a 5 Star, especially with the price. I have no kids, but if I did this is where I d stay. The pool is beautiful and very kid friendly, the courtyard has a life size chess board, connect four, and plays movies on a projector (big screen) every night, at least for the time I ve been here. The staff are so kind, and warm welcoming. The bar/restaurant, is amazing, food is phenomenal, and service is out of this world. Prices aren t great, but hey, not everything can be perfect. Highly Recommend.

Off season is ridiculously "off". No patio or pool drink or food service. Lobby fireplace notoriously "unlit" on very cool evenings. One restaurant. Very slow service. Hotel empty and I was given a room on 1st floor with parking lot view in "hill country".

I like Hilton hotels for the cleanliness and spacious rooms. The reason for 2 stars is my last stay. I stayed there for new year for 2 nights. One morning they had water leakage and water supply for shut down for whole hotel and so there was no breakfast. That was understandable but then they shouldn t charge for breakfast if someone had breakfast in the package. That day when I returned in the night our room was not cleaned. There was no one in the night to clean. I informed at reception and I was asked to speak to manager in the morning. It was not a good experience to spend a night in that room and no way to freshen up in the morning. In the morning we had breakfast. It was good. Then I explained the issue to the manager and manager only said she will take off the parking charges and it will take sometime before she can send updated bill. I was expecting a better handling of issue. I checked out and received full bill which was not expected.

I've always enjoyed my stays at Hilton but last night's stay was probably the best so far. I checked in about 9pm on 28 Oct the young lady at the desk asked if I'd be interested in Hilton Honors she took the time to explain the program answer my questions and was genuine with her customer service. I signed up and headed up to my room. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had been given a suite and the room was AMAZING!! My stay was so comfortable the suite was immaculate and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Well a little later in the evening I found out my flight would be delayed and I was already dreading calling the front desk to inquire about late check out. The gentleman at the front desk at about 5 am who answered the phone was awesome. I said I needed late check out He asked what time I said 1:00 p.m. he said no problem. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the Hilton ( especially the HILL COUNTRY HILTON) The employees of the HC Hilton went above and beyond for me this evening and as someone who stays in hotels 6 to 8 months out of the year that is very important. I WILL without a doubt recommend this hotel to all family friends and business associates. You guys are doing an amazing job and your customer service is flawless. Keep up the outstanding job folks whether you realize it or not YOU are appreciated and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when travelling. Thank you Hilton Hill Country

The hotel is located in a nice area close to Sea World. Rooms were clean, and good size. They have a restaurant inside the hotel. I didn't give them 5 stars because we were located in the ground level and they were remodeling the hotel rooms next to ours. It was a lot of noise and dust in the area.

TIP\IDEA: Teen pool party! 4.5 s. Original stay Dec '17. One of a handful of heated outdoor pools\jacuzzi in SA. Secluded area is enough with a booked room (Trivago). Exclusive phone coordination with front desk for 8 to 10 teens, 15-16 yo. Just ensure party doesn't get too rowdy. Costco pizza, sister baked cake and our music via Bluetooth speakers. Good times! Convenient to home and fire pits.

They gave up my reservation!!! I booked an executive king suite weeks in advance, prepaid, and without warning or a refund they downgraded me to a regular double room! Completely unacceptable!! Front desk was not nice about it either, they basically said it was my fault for booking through a third party site and they ran out of rooms. Unbelievable! We needed special arrangements since this was our first trip with our 2 year old and they ruined the experience completely.

Exceptionally disappointing experience during covid. Everyone understands that the hotels amenities are closed due to the pandemic. Charging $10 for parking in an empty parking lot in a suburban location with plentiful of outdoor parking is an outrageous fee grab. Upon complaining, the hotel staff refused to reverse the charge and said it s been their policy for 9 years. Called the GM and left a message with no return call back. Keep up trying to nickel and dime your customers during this period and don t worry about your policy of the past 9 years- worry about your surviving the next 9 months. To potential guests- find another hotel that values your business.

Room was nice, however A/C was not working properly and refrigerator no working either. Staff however was very helpful and accommodating. If you can get breakfast with your room do it. It is worth it, not your usual cereal and waffles

The restroom had three different hairs on the floor that were not mine. The decor is outdated and the carpet had stains all over. The sheets were clean, but the room could use more cleaning. This is my first and last stay here.

We stayed for 3 nights and overall was a decent experience. Hotel is relatively nice and clean and we felt safe walking around and sleeping in our rooms which is my top priority. A/C was a little weird, didn t seem to work properly. We also brought our 2 dogs which was nice to be in a pet friendly hotel except for the high pet deposit. Checking out I was also charged double which the receptionist let me just walk out without a question, luckily my wife caught it on the receipt and eventually we were able to fix it. (I will still be checking my bank account just in case.) I felt like there was an absurd amount of random charges that added up to a lot. Especially the fact you have to $10 a day for parking.. even though you re already paying to stay at the hotel. Receptionists are nice but don t really explain every charge well. And lastly as we were packing up and leaving my wife found a baby roach on her suitcase in our room. Not cool. Guess I was expecting a little better from a Hilton, wasn t a terrible experience but next time we visit I ll spend my money for a nicer hotel.

This is my first review of any hotel. I normally don't write reviews but I just had to in this case. I arrived at the hotel without a prior booking, just hoping they would have a room. The guy at the front desk said they had an "accessible" room available on the "garden" floor (this is really the basement floor). I took the room, but the clerk did not offer any information at all about the hotel amenities and services. I had to ask about the shuttle, the breakfast and other services. He really didn't seem to care.

That didn't really upset me, what upset me was that the hotel charges for internet access!!! After paying over $169 per night, they then want to charge their guests for internet access, that is just wrong. There was no shampoo in the room, the shower I took turned into a bath because the water would not drain, the bathroom faucets etc looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks (white scum everywhere). The coffee pot had left over water in it and the "garden" level smelled like a moldy laundry room.

The only upside is that we were only there for one night.

The hotel was amazing. The location was perfect for the weekend. Loved the fire pits and outdoor theater and the beds were comfortable. We were going to Sea world and the shuttle took us and saved us 20 dollars in parking and the hassle, a nice surprise. The shuttle drivers were knowledgeable, professional and VERY friendly! This is our new hotel each time we come to town.

We got a suite and the room was nice. Outdoor area with fire pits and pool is well-maintained and enjoyable. We were there on new year's Eve and ate in the restaurant there. Steaks were okay but not worth the price. They were still playing Christmas music on the 31st and we asked a couple of times if they could change it. After going all the way to the head manager we were told no because it has to come from corporate. Can't imagine working in an environment where an employee can't even have responsibility to change the music in the restaurant. We got a great deal on the room from travelzoo so I'm giving it 4 stars.

My reservation through a third party wasn t right. I called en route and a nice man helped me get started. ..but I had 3 reservations for a 4 day stay.
The next morning Marji the front manager took care of so many things. Kept my luggage and got it to new room while we were out. Cut down to one reservation. She made everything so easy.
Thank you so much!!! Our spur of the moment trip was great.

So far not impressed! Room is small for the price. Eggs and coffee was cold. Shower had no shelf for shampoo or soap...had to use the floor. So far the room which cost almost 650.00 for 2 nights was not worth it at all! My balcony view is of a parking lot....not a great vacation spot.

****second update (& also in response to the hotel's comments below): I've still been calling directly, and received an email address to try that way. I emailed a week ago today, at 8 am. STILL NOTHING. Awful customer service at this point.****

**update: never received the gift card we were supposed to have been sent for the crappy breakfast. I've called twice and can't get a call back.**

We stayed during a very popular weekend for hotels and resorts. You d think they d be on their A-game .. wrong.
The lobby was pretty warm. The rooms wouldn t cool down very much either.
The WOMENS bathroom door near the pool would NOT CLOSE or lock, huge safety issue for myself and my 2 daughters. Issue was reported to the desk and remained the same Friday- Sunday.
The pools were kind of a bummer.. Almost no shade, the whole crowd had to fight over a few umbrellas, the fountains which would usually make for a serene, resort style pool were not functioning.
The $20 breakfast buffet was honestly gross. (We are to be refunded in some sortsvia gift card in the mail... we ll see.)
Positive notes, the desk staff were a pleasure to speak to when needed. The hotel bar was remained pretty deserted which made for a nice place to have some conversation.

Why were they doing repairs and interior paint work on 4th of July weekend? Clipping tree branches and blowing leaves by pool on July 4th? Wth? Main pool is small and over crowded. Not enough chairs and barely any tables or shade to sit at by pool. Pool dirty from lawn crew. No grab and go food. Restaurant very expensive with poor service and food and beers were not in stock. Come on hilton.

My room AC would just stop working at night, when I told the front desk they offered to bring me a box fan which I accepted as they had no rooms available to move me. I asked them to leave it in the room...never got it. Called the front desk and was told the manager would contact me, that never happened. The next day I asked they leave the GMs card in my room so I could reach out to them, again that never happened. Finally went to the desk and asked for the GMs card and they were out of their business cards (?) so they gave me the assistants business card.

I also asked for a fridge the first day they said they were currently out but would bring we one the next day. You guessed, didn't happen. When I inquired, the front desk didn't even have my name as requesting one. I finally got one the night before I checked out.

The hotel is nice, the people are nice but the competency level is lacking. Still haven't received my room receipt that they were going to email to me yesterday. I am interested to see if they at least follow through with adding additional points to my hilton honors as they said but I don't have high expectations. Will just contact corporate next.

Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else. I was here with a large group and we all had complaints about these accommodations. Should have been a clue when they had that many rooms available in such a short amount of time.

Hotel was mediocre. The restaurant and bar downstairs would get my highest rankings as we ate in house and ordered room service and both were stellar, in addition to friendly waitstaff. The spa was the biggest disappointment. Tiny area, poor amenities and super unprofessional massage therapists. Staff continued to trudge through the quiet waiting area several times making loud noises. The male massage therapist for me and my hubby's couple massage was running 10 min late (meaning he couldn't make it to work on time). After being talked into the couples massage bc of the wonderful ambiance, the room was way too tiny to create anything of a relaxing ambiance. I had the male therapist bc my husband was uncomfortable with a male and I didn't have a problem with it. Let me say, he definitely crossed the line and rubbed areas that made me uncomfortable where I had to put my leg down so he would stop. I get massages regularly so I know what is appropriate for a male or woman and he crossed the line. Apparently my husband said he had never been rubbed so much on his booty either. To top it all off, when I checked out the receptionist tried to get me to leave gratuity when I was told over the phone that was included in a couples massage. Thank goodness I was paying attention! Not that I would have left a tip at all. Such a disappointment. Will not be returning and hope others will be warned.

The WORST hotel experience I have ever had!!!!!!

The WORST hotel experience I have ever had!!!!!!
One the hotel did not mention that they were renovating so the halls smelled like dry wall and plaster but the room they gave us the toilet did NOT flush!!! When I went down to tell the front desk I was told maintenance had already gone home for the day so security would bring up a plunger. I was handed the plunger and had to plunge it myself. Plunging a toilet is not on my things to do when I'm on vacation.

The courtyard and the pools look nice. The rooms were also nice but they don t have a mini fridge or microwave in the room. They do have mini fridges on request. When we booked we requested connecting rooms. When we arrived we found out our rooms were not on the same floor and to switch to connecting rooms would cost $60 per room. The doors to the connecting rooms only open 90 degrees so it s awkward to go through. We took the shuttle to Sea World 2 days which was nice not having to worry about parking, but both days we had to call the hotel to come pick us up at the end of the day because the driver did not follow the schedule he gave us.

We really enjoyed ourselves. I only had 3 little complaints. 1. There was not a fridge or microwave in the room. 2. When we looked under the bed for a show we found a half eaten rotten apple and 3. When they cleaned the room, they didn't leave new soaps in the bathroom. We were a family a 4 and we used almost all the soap the first night we were there. Other than that the staff was friendly and the manager helped us make my baby girl's birthday special by having cheesecake waiting for us in the room.

The only good things: sound isolation between rooms, strong A/C, no weird smells.
Front desk person most unhelpful. First kept messing up my name. She thought we had one room reserved when we actually had 2. Lied that rooms in other floors were full and stuck us in the basement. She didn't even know where the other entrances of the hotel were.
The key cards are terrible, lots of people seem to have ones that don't work.
Beds are old, got bruised by a broken spring on one side of the bed.
Carpet looked like it was never vacuumed.
Ice bucket had stains from tea or coffee, like it is never cleaned or sanitized.
Corners of the tables and TV with dust, indicated poor room cleaning.
