Fantastic!

Fantastic!
Visited the Hilton for a hiring event. A short Walk in the front door to an inviting scene of tables filled with guests. You guessed it...the bar.
No time for me to stop, make my way around to the ballroom only to see this awesome catered event.
The Hilton really made this look great for all of us, I was suddenly not so nervous.

I love this place! The staff is friendly. The amenities are awesome! There are plenty of activities to do at the hotel such as sitting by the fire and making s'mores, playing basketball or relaxing in any of the three pools. There's a convenient shuttle Sea World and the hotel is an excellent place to watch the fireworks from the park. Breakfast is served and there's a restaurant on site. There's also a bar and fitness center.

I was extremely disappointed with the total lack of house cleaning and the dated rooms.
We were able to book quickly, but everything else after that was a total let down.

I wanted to try room service for the first time in my life and I could not get through. Every. Single. Time.
I called during the hours they should have been open and the phone would just ring and ring. I tried calling the front desk several times and they didn't answer either. When I finally did get a hold on the enth try, they called the room service kitchen and couldn't get through either. All I wanted to do was order a grossly over priced dessert and have it delivered to my room. Just one time. After waiting nearly 4 hours, I got through and ordered one of their desserts. When I received it 1hr and 45 mins minutes later, it was cold and clearly pre-made at a crappy grocery store. If you can't provide good room service, just don't offer it.

The house keeping and maintenance in the room was abysmal. The water jet tub had mildew/mold in it. I am very allergic to both. I informed the front desk who said it would be cleaned. I came back after housekeeping went through and they had not even touched it. There were broken knobs that came off the tub, and limescale covering EVERYTHING.

The bed was large but the mattress was really old and springs stuck in my back while I slept, the pillows were in desperate need of replacement, they did not support ANYTHING. They were basically pancake flat with the slightest of pressure.

Much of the furniture was in need of replacement/ repair.

I will never stay in this hotel ever again and if you value cleanliness, you shouldn't either.

In my experience, the front desk was very kind. The printer wasn t working in the lobby, so theyd let me email them and print it off for me! So nice. Rooms were clean, but windows were hard to open. Good for the price. Nice pools and hot tub was nice. Too bad they turned off the outdoor fireplaces at 1030 pm!

Stayed here several times for my son and I's staycation and this stay was very disappointing in regards to the amemity infornation, room not being correct and the attempted correction still not correct, the murky pool water not being monitored at 104 degress outside with several people in it and of course the ph balance does get out of whack more easily when that exists and more.

Love to give a 4.5. My fiance and I had a lovely time. Among entry Johnny immediately made me smile. About my stay, minus the minor issues that made me iffy however, Aubrey with no hesitation, fixed all concerns. I would like to personally thank them both. I can't wait to return with our son.

So...simple truth? This is a nice hotel that has seen better days and a little dated. This is a Hilton quality property but not a Hilton Resort quality property.

Bottom line: In it's current state this is a nice hotel, but for the same cost your money is better spent at the nearby Marriott. With some TLC this place could be awesome again.

Let's talk about what they get right....
Customer service here is great with staff going out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Full service bar here also has a decent selection of liqour and beer. Main vestibule looks snappy and what you would expect at a very Texas hotel. The grounds are beautiful with multiple pools, a splash area, and multiple gas operable fire pits. beds are also suuuuuuper comfy.

Now, where we go wrong.... The look and cleanliness of the hallways and rooms. It looks like an attempt to update was made but either fell short or the design planners just didn't do a good job. It all feels....dingier than it is. Tub units/plumbing in rooms also need some love.

Last isn't really a complaint just an observation. I hate Hilton's benefits tiering. It's all jacked up. If I stay at a lower class sister property, I get free breakfast.....if I stay at a high end property like this one, $10 for a continental breakfast please. That makes no sense. I know the rewards program can mitigate this cost. It just doesn't make sense that's all.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Great bar, restaurant and outdoor area. The room was extremely comfortable.
My complaint is that I left a shopping bag there full of new clothes. I called back within a few hours to locate the bag. I was told I would have to speak to housekeeping. I called and left a message. No return call. I called for several days after and left messages. Still no return call. Even if you didn't find the clothing I would have loved to receive a return call.

THE worst Hilton stay I have ever had. Noisy plumbing waking us up in the night necessitating a room move (as in sounding like a fire alarm). The first room also had an obviously patched up leak in the shower (which became evident when water was streaming through said shower ceiling). Possible bed bug bites, and overall awful experience. All of my concerns were spelled out in the survey I received, but somehow I feel all of that will be ignored. I guess it won't matter since I will never stay at this location again. The nearby Courtyard by Marriot is so much cleaner, in better shape and the desk staff are much friendlier and more responsive. As a longtime Hilton Honors customer, I am so disappointed in my 4 star experience.

It was an amazing visit. The only thing we did not like was the hospitality at the restaurant for breakfast. Since we paid for our breakfast along with the room, we sat ourselves and waited to be told to do. After sitting for a while we decided to serve ourselves for the buffet. We had to ask for water, ice etc... like we didn't have a waitress.

I was worried about staying here based on the reviews on this site, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was beautiful and very clean. No mold in the tub area or smelly carpet for us. The staff was very nice and we were even able to check in a couple of hours early. Yes, there were leaves in the pool, the trees they have near the pool are known to drop quite a bit. Also, the weather didn't help, since it was windy. But the trees provided nice shade, so it's a give and take (no leaves, no shade or leaves and shade.) Overall, we had a great time and would come back.

Was lookin for an ice machine that worked in the middle of the night and found a huge brush from a floor cleaning machine sitting on a table in the dining area, fully set for breakfast...... but I'm sure they removed the dishes and disinfected the table before guests arrived to EAT AT THAT TABLE. NOT! I have pictures, but I can't figure out how to add them. So disappointing.

This resort is like if someone made a list of the bare minimum necessary qualify a resort and spa, and then built it. On the positive side, the staff is all very friendly and helpful. On the negative side, there seems to be about half as many as the hotel is designed for. The on site restaurant was never open during our stay even though everything says it was supposed to be. The spa appeared only to be open if someone had made an appointment. No drop ins. There is also a women's boutique store attached that was never open. The spa, boutique, and fitness room are so hidden you'll really need to hunt to even find them. The pool is nice, but not large for the size of the hotel. There is a sort of lap pool, but it was always filled with kids so there is no way anyone would have been able to swim laps. The rooms are ok. We had a suite, so that did include a mini fridge. But there were still small things. Like only bringing coffee for two and towels for three in a room for four. Internet is not included. Overall this place isn't bad for a Holiday Inn. But it's billed as a Hilton Resort and Spa and it doesn't live up to that.

The entrance and back exit were always dirty, $180+ a night , room with no refrigerator, or microwave for us with small children, water leak on the toilet and a bed frame very poorly made that cause me a broken toe. We stayed because we had promised our son a trip to sea world, but for sure will not stay again or recommend again. I am sorry

We have stayed here for years and though it's getting remodeled the experience was not better. Housekeeping had to come clean our bathroom because it was dirty on check in. We were charged for parking when it used to be included, but were never told. They have a s'mores pit for kids and ad a Hilton member I used to get one free pack, but now they charge $7. Disappointed.

Getting checked in took about 30 minutes. I called the hotel at 5:36pm to let them know I would be arriving at a later than expected time (after 2am). I then called a second time at 11:34pm to make sure they knew I was still coming, lady at front desk said no worries they had already checked me in to a room. I ended up arriving closer to 4am. Took Charles at the front desk about 15 minutes to finish what he was doing before actually looking at my reservation. Then another 20 to get me all checked in. Room was decent slept good until about 8:30am first morning I am on the lower floor housekeeping staff areas are down the hall and it was just loud. I look out the patio door to find hundreds or what appears to be dead and some still alive baby centipedes. Didn't bother me they're outside I am inside went on with my day. Left the hotel from about noon to 9pm. Got back room was not cleaned by housekeeping. Requested a roll out bed, they didn't have those, I was offered an air mattress which they then also didn't have. I settled for extra blankets and pillows never got them. To add the icing on the cake they in the beginning cancelled my original reservation and have now charged my card DOUBLE the amount of my original booking reservation. Worst customer service experience Ive ever had. Will not be returning.

A cozy place to stay....

We stayed here by accident. Lol. Was looking for the Hyatt but ended up here, because the address on Google pulled the Hilton instead. We thought they changed the name and booked it. We're glad we did..... Would recommended. The breakfast bar is loaded and hearty... Ana at the front desk was very accommodating. If parking was better we would give it five stars...

Very nice hotel. Great service with excellent staff. Eric was a huge help when we lost our folder with all out tickets. He came through in a big way!! Best guy ever! We will stay here again. And swimming pools, outdoor movies, and roasted marshmallows are fantastic.

Was only here for a night, so can't speak for all the amenities offered at this location. The staff was courteous and prompt with replacing the bedsheets when we found a stain on them upon check in. Other than this, everything else was clean and tidy. There were a lot of outdoor activities in the garden area like a giant chess board and the like. Though my party didn't have a chance to check it out. This hotel is a bit of a drive from the Riverwalk area, but if you're in town for SeaWorld or Six Flags it's a convenient location.

Terrible customer service. Room service never answered the phone and when left a message to call the room, I never received a return phone call and housekeeping decided to help themselves to some of my makeup.

Nice hotel, good food options, great pools and fire pit area. Free shuttles to SeaWorld too. Watch out for 2nd floor rooms. Most of them look at the 1st floors extensive roof instead of a nice view. Hotel puts on kids movies in the courtyard at night and let's you make smores. Great family stay destination.

Went to Sea World for the weekend. Three minutes from the main gate. Room was nice, if a little tight. Breakfast was good, and the employees were very helpful and super courteous. Back porch fire pits were great on a cool spring evening.

Watch your wallet! When I checked in they told me they would have to charge an additional $25 for incidentals. They said it would be reimbursed immediately once I check out. Three days later and it's still not reimbursed. When I called them they said to have the bank call them directly. My bank called them and they still wouldn't release the hold. Also, they charge $15.95 for wi-fi!

The facilities are nice but these nickel and dime charges are not worth the aggravation when there are PLENTY of other choices close by.

We stayed it room 202 the only problem was that everytime the ac turned on there was a really loud noise from the restroom closing the door fixed that problem. The guest pool was great and the shuttle service to seaworld was fun i really enjoyed talking to primo the drive all the way there.

They have great activities for families. I come here every summer, but this will be my families last. They have a weekly "schedule" of activities, but there are no hours for the amenities.. (pool,gym, ect.) Not even online. Its frustrating because with a family you have to plan your day and it's such an inconvenience. How are these times not readily available to potential and current guests? We booked our room notifying we would have children but they did not provide a bath towel for each guest or a blanket for the pull out couch. They need to be proactive. The breakfast buffet was ok, I don't know how they made bacon taste weird but they found a way. OH, AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET BETTER TOWELS!!! it's like they're washed in starch.

The hilton is gorgeous. Walking in you have to take a step back to admire the fit and finish of everything. The rooms are great, everything is classy. The pool, jacuzzi, and amenities outside are great. If you acquire a thirst there is a decent bar too. Also, fast wifi. Great place to stay if your budget allows.

Checked in to a bathroom with a dirty toilet and couldn't get ahold of the manager till the next day. No customer service skills at all. Manager stated he'd take off 25 dollars off room rate only to not carry through.
Once I notified the front desk, my room keys stopped working, what a coincidence.

Loveeeed this hotel! Room was clean, bathrooms spacious, beds were comfy. Hand sanitizer located throughout the property, following covid guidelines. Felt as comfortable as it could get in a hotel.Our family stayed for a week due to relocating and waiting for a home (military family). The pool and the outside amenities were amazing. Highly recommend this hotel. We also had a penske truck and the hotel was safe and had a security guard onsite. We observed the guard checking our truck area several times which made us sleep well at night. We stayed at another hotel nearby first night and could not sleep due to the lack of security for our belongings. You will not regret choosing this hotel.

The food is over priced and its not that good. The eggs are soupy in the mornings too. I stayed for roughly 7 weeks and there were times when my room wouldn t be cleaned for 4 days. Not to mention, my truck got stolen. Yes you read that correctly. My vehicle was stolen. While this was not their fault, they were hands off on the situation for the most part. This isn t the first time vehicles have been broken into this parking lot and the criminals go after Ford F-150s. There was a guy who was there right before I got there that had his truck broken into twice! They need to beef up their security. Although I was there for 7 weeks for training, I will never stay at another Hilton again.

They remodeled the rooms which was great, but you can still see issues that need fixing. I had seen other reviews in hotel websites where people complained their A/C was not working. Now it was my turn. The A/C was not working. Luckily we checked in at night and it was cool. I can't imagine having that room in the summer. I would probably have given them 0 stars if it was summer.

After a grueling drive along I-10, I was greeted by Anna the front desk supervisor. In a single word, she was outstanding. She is the picture and model of hospitality. Anna alone is the reason why me and my family will be staying at this property again in the near future. There may be other properties with more amenities buy their service can't compare!

Went I did my reservation with Expiria it said that we will get free WiFi and Free breakfast, but when we got to the Hotel she said only WiFi was free also the low price was because they put us on the lower level of the hotel where all the cleaning, maintain and AC units are, there was a BAD smell when you get out of the elevator on the L level. Be aware, call the hotel before your arrival to ask on what level your room will be.
