The resort was top notch. Attentive and professional staff just as soon as you walk thru the door. Our room was very nice, clean and spacious. The view from the balcony to the beach was spectacular.

We stayed here mid September and we really enjoyed our stay. The size of the rooms were very impressive. The part ocean, part city views can be noisy at times but it was so relaxing sitting in the balcony it didn't bother us much. Do NOT order room service. They are overpriced and will mess up your order. We ordered two burgers and fries which they first brought raw and then the second time charred. $80 later we were still hungry. Breakfast however, was lovely.

A very helpful staff and operated extremely professional.

Atmosphere is vibrant and views breathtaking. Food is excellent. Staff is very active, friendly and informed.

We Was under Tropical Drepression at night, and it was cloudy in the Sunrise but still a Beautiful view. The Service and Experience was Great !!!

I found this resort to be quite pricey, and not at all friendly. The meals in the hotel (none of which were included in the price of our room) were very expensive, the most reasonable option being $17/person for a breakfast buffet. As a family of 4, we're looking at $80 for one meal, plus the price of the hotel. Parking is an extra $40/day, which is an amazingly high rate. WiFi is not, in fact, free unless you are a HHonors member (which we are, but there's the heads up). The extra costs are well beyond what I think they should be for an "all inclusive resort."

Guest services were never overtly rude, but certainly lack the friendliness expected in a resort. Our bell hop on day 1, Mark, was very friendly and informative of what to do in the Ft. Lauderdale area, but every other staff member I encountered woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Housekeeping let themselves into my room at 9:15 at night for turn down service, waking my children up. She knocked once and did not give me the chance to get to the door to respond before she let herself in. When I asked why she was there (I didn't realize there was a turn down service in the evening), she explained it was to drop off fresh towels, etc. I asked her to come only in the mornings. She was very sharp in refusing my request to have it noted for me, insisting that I had to talk to the front desk. I do understand that I can also call the front desk, but she was very unpleasant, and I was already irritated that she woke my young children. When I called to find out what was going on, the front desk did not apologize for any inconvenience on my part. Again, they certainly do not have to apologize, but for me it is the little extra touches of hospitality and friendliness that can make the difference of a great vacation.

PROS: The location of the hotel is prime, being on a quiet stretch in Ft. Lauderdale, and right on the beach. The room was clean and had a wonderful ocean view. The section of the beach that the hotel is situated on is directly across from turtle hatching areas, so the streetlights are out during turtle season (March-October, I believe), and there is opportunity to get lucky and see sea turtles during this period. There are shops, food, and entertainment within walking distance.

OVERALL: If you're looking for a decent room right on the beach, this is a nice hotel. If hospitality, a nice vibe, and an all inclusive resort price is important to you, it may be worthwhile to go elsewhere.

***UPDATE: I wrote this review as I was at the resort. I called for a water issue today at 3:00 p.m. It wasn't a big issue, but something I figured the hotel would want to be made aware of. They said they'd send an engineer. The engineer finally showed up at 9:45 p.m. Again, kids were sleeping. I'm not thrilled about the management's capabilities.

DAY 1 AND 2 maid didnt show up and wall outlet for the coffee machine didnt work i called and they said someone is coming up right away and nobody ever showed up for the 4 days i was there i ended up having to make coffee in the bathroom. DAY 3 the ac broke arpund 11 pm and the guy only came to fix it around 2 AM. I wasn't impressed. Alsp the walls amd ceiling where super dirty

Great hotel, been going to Hilton properties for years and will continue for years to come. After a horrible cruise it was just nice to be on land arriving to the Hilton Ft Lauderdale Beach Resort. Upon arrival I was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Andy at Front Desk. Literally made my stay and took great care of me and my girlfriend. Been to many many different places and Andy exceeds what anyone checking in would expect! A stay starts with the Front Desk (reservations) and couldn't have asked for an easier or better check in. In my years of travel I couldnt think of anyone worthy of a raise or promotion! Thank you Hilton and specially Andy!

This weekend was wonderful and Hilton made it happen. The hotel was nice, right across the street from the beach. The rooms cleaned perfectly. All the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is the best we have stayed at in a number of years.

Not a bad hotel, but for the price I paid there were a lot of things I didn t like about it. I don t like the $45/day valet only parking. I would much prefer parking my own car. I m an adult with a driver license and good parking skills. The restaurants are also overpriced. And there is no mini fridge in the bedroom which was a let down. I also had to go 3 floors down to find an ice machine that existed and worked. And finally the beach service that provides chairs and towels closes at 5pm. This was a big pain because I was often out exploring and didn t get around to the beach until around 5pm when I could no longer have a chair, even though it s still warm and sunny outside. I did like the friendly staff, and the basic stuff was fine (clean room, good view, etc), but next time I ll try another hotel.

Excellent and friendly. Balconies if you like some fresh air rather than total aircon. "Big" Mark and Coyen on the front door set the amiable tone. Rooftop pool and smoking corner. Good bar and restaurant. Right on the beach.

Fantastic hotel. This was my second year in a row staying with them. Great location walking distance to everything you would want to do in Fort Lauderdale. Will be staying again soon! Coming here even made me join Hilton honors. The room was immaculate and very cozy. The balcony was amazing to sit out on at night listening to the waves and staring at the city lights on the other side. The pool was very nice with staff coming around to take food and drink orders. Recommend to anybody looking for a nice place to stay and a good time !

A hotel full of friendly. Courteous staff that knows how to make you feel important. Great restaurants, beautiful beach, well-maintained pool. Definitely going back.

Staff is very, very nice & friendly. Housekeeping is lacking, rooms are not The Hilton expected quality. First room we had, bathroom toilet had peeling seat, wallpaper falling off, ripped carpet, and I found an article of clothing not mine in the bottom of my bed. The second room was same as first, so I stopped complaining figured it was what it was. The suites are stocked with nothing, kitchen is empty have to request each item. 2 plates, spoons, dish detergent etc....Parking, you have to valet $45 day, no other option. Spent too much time waiting for car. You have to cross major road to get to beach. Oh my beach, ugh it s beautiful however there was plastic everywhere, spoons, water bottles, dirty plastic up and down beach. I am sad to say I would not return to this Hilton hotel.

Very nice place. Can't go wrong here! Friendly hosts, clean rooms, and great views! There is a restaurant/bar in the first floor (called S3) and a bar on the 4th floor. The pool is on the 6th floor. Very nice place!

Great location right on the beach. Nice rooms with jacuzzi and ocean view but not nice enough for the cost. Gym to small. Good service. Everything cost extra, not what is expected when resort is part of the name. Pool area and public areas in general are to small for a hotel this size.

I just had a wedding last weekend and the hotel was trying to stop it Because I have pay for 20 people And I had 28 people the ban in a camera crew was conning for guess even though we know we're not eating and the hotel knew that the airconditioner sucks I have already paid 5,186 dollars and The hotel management told me that I needed to pay for additional 3000 at the middle of my wedding at 8:10 pm the wedding started at 6:00 p.m thank God for the father of my wife that pay up but please be careful with these people

First of all, excellent beachside location. The beach is across the street. Rooms are updated with good furniture - junior suite has both a shower and a hot tub. WiFi speed is acceptably fast but nothing special. I usually don't mention TV but the cable has every variety of HBO available. Most rooms and rates have a 10% resort fee which is not cheap, and parking is valet only with a very high nightly rate. Breakfast for Hilton Honors is included at the restaurant at floor 6 - however for Gold tier I only received free continental breakfast, and there is an $8 upcharge for hot food. However the cold options were above average by including a large variety of fruit including strawberries and most other berry varieties in addition to the normal melons. Overall a good Hilton option along the beach and in the area - more modern than GalleryOne but more expensive.

While the hotel itself was beautiful, I urge everyone to make sure that they take their belongings with them. On my way out of the hotel on checkout day, I saw that I had left a very expensive bottle of face wash in the shower. I was in a hurry and asked my boyfriend if he could pick it up for me. However, he did not hear me and we ran out without it. That day when I called about it, they said they had never found it and when I spoke with the manager, the story was that they threw it out. 2 weeks went by of providing receipts and proof of purchase and they still had reasons as to why they could not reimburse me. I guess I just took for granted their policy of mailing any items left behind and did not think that a hotel of this caliber would be so tacky. My mistake. So again, be careful and make sure that you give yourself enough time to thoroughly pack all of your things. On the bright side however, some employee has an awesome face wash.

Room was nice, but was charged for an occupancy charge later on my card. After calling and speaking to Hira H. Who was not helpful and quite rude never got a real explanation as to why my card was charged and not my husband's even though we paid for the room with his card. As a Hilton honors reward member Hira H. Was not a helpful person to talk to and the service we received from her will make us not go back to them again.

Maid literally had diarrhea in my toilet and didn't flush and didn't finish cleaning room. Then after multiple requests my room went un-cleaned for 2 days. The front desk gave me a free sub-par breakfast downstairs and offered $100/night off but when the bill came guess what....that discount was not there. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and hotel in general is really showing its age and there were gay men basically having sex in the pool. This was an oceanfront suite that was said to be 1400 sq ft; it seemed more like 500 sq ft. I would not recommend this hotel.

Just returned from my family get away stayed at Hilton as I always do but this time I met the staff while I was relaxing at the roof top pool. Christian Dammert made sure me and my family were happy and were enjoying our stay ,Ryan Rauert great bartender always fun time with him makes you feel at home,Zsolt Neuwirth what can I say besides my kids love him he always put a smile on their faces with little treats Phillip Lafond another one that made sure that we were satisfied with our stay thank you for a great stay and great memories see you in a couple months.

Amazing ocean view. Spacious room, great service by the pool. Beach access but you only get chairs, umbrellas are upcharge.

The Hilton Fort Lauderdale is directly on the Fort Lauderdale strip, across the street from the beach. It's a great location if you want to be close to the action. The hotel is a bit older but the rooms are very large. We had a bedroom, living room, full kitchen and two huge balconies. There is a very good restaurant on site that is also a great place for a cocktail. They have a rooftop pool that faces the beach as well. I would definitely stay there again!

A lot of fees at this hotel to the point where you think they need the money to stay afloat. no free breakfast which means you have to spend upwards of an extra 30$ a day. and a 300$ fee that they don't tell you about( it's a security deposit and you aren't charged if all goes as planned) but there is no mention of it at all. for a plus the concierge helped get a trip to the everglades for cheap which is beautiful and the rooms were clean with a pretty view. also a excellent location for beach.

Having previously stayed at this hotel with a positive experience like many others who have reviewed this hotel, I was excited to come back. However, the second stay was so horrendous that not only will I look to other properties, I feel compelled to urge others to do the same. Something I do not take lightly as I do acknowledge that we are all humans, and people make mistakes. But the fact that the hotel was not willing to recognize their multiple errors and even offer a potential solution, but instead, retaliate when I escalated the concerns to the Diamond Desk and suggest that if we have complaints we should stay at other properties, we will do just that! New management is running this hotel to the ground and not in a good way!

Some issues to highlight:

1) We had multiple rooms booked, and despite attempting to check in at 5 (having completed the mobile check in), not all the rooms were ready as promised.
2) When we got into one of the rooms which was not ready until after 6:30, it was not properly cleaned. When we attempted to move the night stand to plug in additional electronics, we found a used personal hygiene product. When we raised this to the front desk they said that the room had been properly cleaned and accused us of planting it there because we were upset about the delay in receiving our rooms. I can assure you we wouldn't do something like that. Since they were "sold out" they said that they couldn't switch our room. A call to the Diamond Desk, an hour later we were able to switch rooms. At least this one seemed to have been properly cleaned.
3) We had requested standard amenities, and only two rooms ever received them. When we called down an hour after requesting the amenities to notify them that they had not been delivered, they said that had been delivered, and we just never answered the door. Well, not having a DND sign on the door or having the dead bolt on, I asked if we didn't answer, why they didn't attempt to enter and leave them in the bathroom. I was then informed that that wasn't hotel policy. That seems fishy to me. However, we were able to go get our own amenities at the front desk.
4) There must have been a wedding party or some sort of party staying at the hotel who felt the need to scream up and down the coordinators at 1 am. Although I understand that the hotel can't prevent these things 100% of the time, the fact that they failed to send any associates up to ask these individuals to retire to their rooms instead of running up and down the hallways, we find unacceptable. This disrupted our enjoyment of a good night sleep.

If all this wasn't enough, when we got home, we realized we were charged for an extra room! After doing some additional research, they charged us for one night in the unclean room! When we raised this to the hotel, they said that since we occupied the room, we had to pay for it. Thankfully, submitting all our reservation information to the credit card company, they were able to get that money refunded to us.

Such a nightmare! Current management is not operating ethically. Please take your business somewhere else. We will!

Very impressed! Top notch rooms & staff. Ruth was absolutely phenomenal upon check in. She made sure she took really care of us making us feel like we were her only concern. Elvira in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent! Breakfast ended early & we were upset because we had planned our day accordingly. Elvira stepped right in & said she would get us something from the back immediately while a few others just said breakfast ended early & walked off. Customer Service at its finest.

Beautiful resort right across from the beach! The room was clean with updated amenities. The breakfast was delicious with different options to select from. We valet our car, and it was an easy seamless process to drop off and pick up .

Would have been a one star but Malcom at the front desk, Petrone at the bar and the super nice bell hop guys were wonderful. When we first checked in we went to the bar to get a drink and it was a male bartender and we sat there for 15 minutes and he didn t evening knowledge us, there were three people sitting up at the bar, five including us and he was busy flirting with one of the bikini clad customers so we left. Came to breakfast today and the restaurant is full and patrone was busting her butt but still acknowledged that we were sitting here and that she would be with us as soon as possible even though she was slammed, the conversation was very lively and it saved the experience here. We tripped over a 3 inch high barrier between the balcony and living room and pretty bruised up ankles, we won t stay here again.

Great view and amenities. It s a shame that there is construction on the north side of the building, but the location is awesome! Towels could use replacing and building could use some TLC updates.

Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean but everything is super expensive. It was almost 5.00 for a 20oz of soda. Not a bad hotel just not worth the price in my eyes.
