Grease tasted like it was old, needed to be changed & fryers cleaned. Size to price was something you get in kids meal so let alone getting full.

One of the oldest hotel in Vegas. Not recommended. Book this hotel only if you are getting good deal, otherwise don't go for it. No makeup mirrors in the room. Coffee maker is available. Parking is not free. Couldn't find any good restaurants in the hotel. Only 2 devices are allowed to connect to the free WiFi. Pet friendly.
I love the location and the staff, too bad the rooms are very worn; settee was dirty and worn, bathrooms/showers were not cleaned in corners/along the walls for a very long time, mirror TV not working, no bluetooth speaker option for android users. Bed/bedding were very comfortable. I look forward when they update the rooms again or do serious deep cleaning/maintenance.
We had a great time. All staff was very nice. ( Maids, dealers, drink girls, front desk) not one rude person! They help us out on the games we don't know at the tables. VERY CLEAN!! Only reason a 4 star is it is expensive food/ drinks, and you have to pay $15 for Parker per day. Even if your staying there.... But the shops are reasonable! Like $25 for a shirt and $80 for nice purse. Would recommend to anyone. We will most definitely stay here again.
The pool is crazy busy. We get a bed and it makes life so much easier. If you have the money, spring for the extra expense. Remember your bag will be searched.
Location is great. The remodeled rooms are nice. I would like to have known beforehand about the resort fees.
Flamingo's..... That's why, oh and Dancers at the Roulette Tables
Old school casino/hotel/resort, best location on the strip. All the rooms have been recently updated. Very nice.
It's a classic! Great view from room. Old school casino. In the middle of everything. We'll be back
Always my go to place when visiting LasVegas! Fun place and well kept! Always great staff to help with whatever you need!
Honestly I love the pool area and the animals but the fact I can not bring down a empty flaming cup to put water in is why I won't go back. The all adult pool refuses to allow any containers. You have to buy one and then can fill it or get a six oz cup. Security is rude. Waitress ignores you. Check in is awful.
Ensure you take walk out back to see the wildlife !
Fun casino with lower limit tables and fast cocktail service.
Great character and real flamingos, ducks and other wildlife...all rescued. Lovely habitat for wildlife. Great hotel and good buffet
The casino was clean, well kept and the food selections were good.
Great staff members, great location and many of fun things to enjoy. The views are amazing day and night. And the weekdays prices are affordable. It was a good place to get away for a while and some fun.
Stayed on the newer side. Great time. Central to the happenings. Lots to do and see. Step outside to see live Flamingoes and other animals. Pool slide is a plus along with Ferris wheel and zip lining.
Pandemic update:
Masks required everywhere it seems with few exceptions. Some of the exceptions make no sense.
One bright spot: the poker room is the best set up in Vegas by far! Plexiglass on the sides, not in front of players since masks are still required. Other rooms have you completely behind plexy and wearing masks making communication difficult. The flamingo did a great job with this room!
The only down side: the room is closed during the week!?!? CRAZY.
I like this place. Excellent value, great check in, tons of places to eat, rooms are nice, nice view. The location on the strip is perfect.
The employees are very accommodating, very nice overall.
The reasons to consider other properties: horrible parking garage, inadequate number of handicapped parking spots.
If you can look past a couple of problem areas this property is a good choice.
Very nice, very well kept. Very easy check in and out, never even spoke to anyone checking in or out.
Casino is old and wore down. Its nice to be by the strip but not a good choice. But if good price is what you are looking for then this would be it.
So far not impressed, arrived on crutches was told they could not escort me to my room via wheelchair. Major disappointment. The view however is killer.
UPDATE:
Paul, in the taxi line was the only person here that tried to help. He got us a handicap taxi and made sure we were taken care of. He told the taxi driver exactly where we wanted to go and made sure we were set up for our return trip.
Our flight got changed and we are now leaving 5 hours later then we were scheduled too, we tried calling guest services, asking for help with a late check out a couple times and they just tell us they do not know about a late check out and to call back. We have to call and schedule our transport back to the airport 24 hours ahead of time. If I cannot find out about a late check out, how do I schedule transport.
Love the location of this hotel. HATE THE HOSPITALITY!!!!
I stayed here for the marine corps ball and it was my first time in vegas, it has a cool vibe definitely represents the name. Cool place though
We were only passing by didn't stay here. The garden area is a nice walk and you see many different birds, along with koi fish.
The rooms are alright, we live that it's right in the middle of everything! So convenient!
We loved our stay here. We had a smoking room and usually when you walk onto a smoking floor it smells like death. Our room was very clean and good odor. They had shampooed the floors right before we got there . staff was very nice and over all the casino floor was very fun. Location is prime, we were there for 4 days and did not start our car once. Everything is within comfortable walking distance. They did charges us extra for some reason when we got there but it looks like they corrected the mistake and paid me back. As long as the charges stay the same i would recommend this hotel to anyone. It would be nice to get some sort of discount or upgrade on the next visist.
It was a pretty nice place! Most of the staff were nice, they fixed an broken elevator in 2 hours (then it broke again), the room service was quick and the pools were great. Although you had to be 21 in order to get into the bigger pools with live music (probably because they served alcohol). They had various diners across the hotel which most were good. (one breakfast place called cappuccino sucked..)
The rooms were really great, so was the room-cleaning service.
The casino was really big and fun.
I would recommend this place, mainly because of its location, because from here, you can get to all the main attractions! (Except stratosphere, if you don't want to walk in the heat for an hour).
Very big and beautiful resort. The rooms are absolutely stunning. There are shops and activities to do inside the hotel. Not to mention, it's right on the strip.
Terrible service, cocktail waitress very few, don't count on getting a drink while you gamble. Can't go to the bar and buy a cocktail. The pool you have to make a reservation and fills up fast, you have to pay for movies on TV. No where to just sit and relax unless you go to your room. Would not recommend.
A group of business colleagues meet every Tuesday for lunch at the lunch buffet at the casino. The staff is always friendly and the service is very good. The selection of food is always freshly made and very tasty. Our party today totalled fifteen, and we all had a good time.
Booked a strip view room which we didn t get and room stunk of cigarettes. On the whole it s a decent hotel with a nice pool in a great location... good value for money
While the room looked good on the surface...it was nearly impossible to get to it. First, the girl downstairs gave us the wrong room number so we had to go back down to get the correct one. Then when trying to get to our room 3 security guards decided to stop us over some mystery situation and yell at us to "go the other way" but there was no other way. Finally, we get to our room only to find it hasn't been cleaned, and there is no sticker on our door so I had to clean and sanitize it myself (I have pictures of how bad it was). Its been 2 hours wasted trying to get in this room. At the very least we should get a discount for whatever they pay their housekeeping (2 hours worth) and they should replace my lysol and paper towels.
Very nice stay. The remodeled room was very nice, with a great view of the strip. Good food at the Linq, and very nice staff. For location and price the Flamingo is a gem.
Love my view from the hotel and how convenient the location
My fiance and I like playing baccarat, there's only 2 tables and only 1 is open on weekdays. The pool was a big hassle to even sign up to go in, we didn't get to enjoy the pool.
Great. Clean. Plenty to do on site. Huge pool. Rocking night life. Rooms are clean, maintained, & modern. Must some really old reviews on here
Love the location. 3rd stay here and haven t had a bad experience yet. Rooms are fine, clean and comfy for the price. Paid for early check in which was so convenient. View was of Bologio fountain. No buffets due to Covid but made due with all restaurants available. Only downside no coffee pot in room so bring your own lol.
The iconic Flamingo didn't disappoint. The drinks were very strong and a great price as well. The black jack tables were staffed with excellent dealers who offered tips and made the losses fun.
Great pool area and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Right smack in the middle of the strip so a great location close to the bus line
Hotel room was wonder. Great view however fridge in our room didn t work, bathroom fan didn t work, we tried to get in the pool for 3 days. Disappointed we are paying such high resort fees to not have the amenities we are paying for. Stayed here so we could enjoy the pool. I m a Caesars member and this stay disappointed me.
It is great that we still have a few of the historic casinos around, The place has a long history and a very modern feel. I enjoyed my time there almost like visiting an old friend.
Stayed here. Comfortable and accommodating. Saw Piff here. Will see him again when we come back. He is spectacular.
Paid parking of 20 a night, no towels in our room when we arrived (we had to ask the cleaning person), no ramp can be found for my mom who had a hard time with the stairs, and parking was a nightmare even if we paid for it.
I recently stayed in a Flamingo Premium Room. It was newly renovated and very clean upon check-in! I'd definitely stay in that room again.
Check-in was at 4pm and we got to the hotel early & asked to have our baggage stored while we grabbed lunch - they didn't charge us for this. We got checked in around 3:45pm. It was a little frustrating being forced to use the self check-in kiosk rather than an actual person.
We reserved a daybed at the Go Pool and enjoyed it! It is pricey but worth it if you want to spend a day at the pool.
Overall, I was happy with our stay. Good location on the strip, nice size casino, nice pool and enjoyed the newly renovated rooms.
OMG!! This resort is probably my favorite!! The bird habitat is beautiful and well taken care of. The casino is clean and all staff we encountered were wonderful! We used the valet service throughout our trip and were extremely satisfied. The buffet has amazing food and a large variety! Conveniently located center strip. Exit doors to the linq promenade where you will find In-N-Out, sprinkles, Gordon Ramsey... Etc... The rooms were nice and comfortable. Check in was a snap using a kiosk
Really had a great stay. Had housekeeping wake me up by accident at 8 am, but no big deal. My room wasn't updated yet, but my friends had one I. The 14th floor and it looked great. I was on the 15th.
Overall great, centrally located iconic hotel.
Very natural and wild atmosphere maintained. You can enjoy to be in the nature where birds are flying or enjoying themselves in the water. Pleasant view to observe. Water fountains are flowing. Water falls with big noise.
The actual rooms were good but from the beginning the customer service was POOR except from Jameson. A different man charged my mothers card for an amount that was NOT authorized! They state that my card had been declined for a room when I asked them to let me show them someway that the charge is on my card. I have been waiting for my deposit refund for more than 2 weeks already and they always tell me different dates of when it was released back to me! I keep trying to make a formal complaint but the department is always closed ... I tried to email them and all they write back is the number for me to pay my debt with them, but why would I pay more if the transaction is on my card already?
Legit, they got real Flamingos and fake Flamingos too- lives up to the name
Lovely clean and tidy staff are very helpful also hold different events, they also have real flamingos in the outside area.
I don't know ...it felt they could have done more like something was missing....service at concierge was awesome ....the buffet was way overpriced around $40.00
And if your NOT a glutton then no value
If you are looking for good time at the strip. Flamingo at night delivers in all the key points. Awesome customer service, great atmosphere, music, fun and tasty food. I got lucky here $10 became $75 in one of the slot machines.
Amazing experience at fabulous Las Vegas definitely awesome time
Anniversary vacation to Vegas from Brooklyn we had a boil at your hotel very clean music and TV and the bathroom and the view is absolutely gorgeous thank you
For being such an expensive place, my fridge was broken and there was still other peoples hair all over my bathroom. Disgusting. Shower was odd it was built with half a glass door so when showering, my bathroom would get soaked. Hotel was also very confusing but im sure any hotel in Vegas would be.
Spent time with family out of town, very good overall services
I was happy with size of room & queen beds were really soft and cozy.
I only have one complaint and that is house keeping did not do their job correctly. House keeping did not clear out food left in the refrigerator from previous guest. That told me they may not he cleaning rooms like they are supposed to due to covid 19 guide lines. Someone better check on house keeping. Other than that my stay was great.
Nice place and atmosphere, the staff is really really nice and welcoming, thank y guys
Nice location. Helpful staff. In the middle of all the action. Liked the indoor/outdoor nature preserve.
I loved my high roller view, plenty to do. I don't gamble and have fun. Shopping, Great food, wonderful customer service and so much more.
Couldn't get 50 ft in the door without being haggled to buy a timeshare. Low class. Casino grounds was decent
This is my favorite Hotel I've come here for 15 years straight and I love the flamingo it is centrally located great party atmosphere lots of fun Buffet is really nice it is one of the best hotels on the strip and the cost is reasonable also it is centrally located
Out back of the casino there is this little zoo of flamingos and ducks and pelicans and all sorts of birds really. It was super neat. One of my favorite parts of Vegas, it's also pretty romantic at night! The casino was nice as well, we spent quite of but of time at the tables. One if my favorite places.
I just gambled at the casino. I had a great time. Staff was nice. There are limits on the number of people at the tables but I know its not the hotel/casinos fault. Its a staple on the vegas strip and I've always enjoyed stopping by!
Decent hotel and casino. The garden is beautiful. Our room could have been cleaner, there were some popcorn and coins on the floor but it was clean enough for us. I would recommend The Flamingo anytime.
I had a lot of fun but the waitress never showed up while I was gambling. That's why I give it 4 stars.
Automated check-in system is pretty buggy. Rooms are a bit dated but I would expect that given the age of this hotel. All in all not bad though.
Big, spacious rooms with a refrigerator and a second TV built into the bathroom mirror. Lots of eating and gambling options. However, the beautiful pool area that used to be so relaxing was turned over to drunks and blaring fake music (button pushing DJs). If they changed the pool area back to it's former state rather than cater to the morons (as Steve Wynn calls them), I would rate this 5 stars.
Remodeled rooms really nice, almost a grand slam. Gain points for an abundance of power options, but lose a few because only on one side of the bed. New shower nice (+), but soap dispensers in an awkwardly placed making available shower space narrower than it had to be (-). Food options getting better all the time. Cannot beat the location.
Rooms were decent and people working there were nice. The worst part was all the people from Wyndham. They appear as workers and try to rope you into a timeshare. They did this as soon as we checked in asking if we wanted help getting to our room. They are stationed at elevators trying to act like they are there to help you. They also act as if they are the ticket office if you are interested in going to shows. I guess the Flamingo wants you to stay somewhere else.
My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo. They were attentive to our needs and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.
Although we did not stay here, we spent a lot of time here on our trip and were regretting not booking there. They have several shops and restaurants. Definitely considering staying next time if we come back to Vegas
Stayed here for night in the newly renovated rooms. For location and price, this is probably th best place you can stay in Vegas. The new rooms and clean compared to what it was years ago, you wouldn't be able to tell it's still the Flamingo. Next time I go to Vegas I will be booking this hotel for their pool parties!
Comfortable room. Good location on the Strip. Casino is not so big that it's overwhelming. All-in-all a nice place to stay in Vegas.
