Just arrived. Rooms are very nice. Clean, modern updated. It was a nightmare to check in because side entrance road is being worked on. Walked across interior mall to get to checkin. Ask for bellman, but none came. Will edit review after I leave.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights Sun-Fri. We checked in at 11:20pm so there was barely a line. We got a 10 dollar food voucher for not having housekeeping during our stay. We checked out at 11am and the lineup was insane. Luckily they have convenient self-serve check in and out machines with no lineup. I love the location on the strip, the shopping area and the bird sanctuary. Other than that, it was pretty basic. Decor was good and the building is quiet. The casino was one of my favourites in terms of cleanliness and variety. The pool area was pretty empty during our stay as it wasn't nice swimming weather. I think I would stay at the Flamingo again based on price and location.
Great place if you enjoy being accosted constantly by Wyndham employees trying to sell you a timeshare or some sort of membership. The rooms are fine, the location is great, but trying to dodge all the Wyndham people gets old fast. I have no intention of ever returning to this place.
buffet was closed . To get a drink u have to be sitting at a machine gambling .. bar areas were closed . All gambling tables are open . It was pretty crowded
Because it's an old hotel go there for nostalgic reasons and inexpensive prices. I personally think it is located in the best possible place on the strip. The lobby smells like smoke and there are people at almost every elevator entrance trying to get you to listen to a sales pitch. The rooms are nice and comfortable
Beware of beg bugs. Inspect your linen, bedding and futons before you settle in. The first room I found a bed bug after inspecting. The sheets had hair in It as if it hadn t been changed. The mattress protectors had stains as if it had been sitting for quite some time. We were moved to a different room. Resort fees were refunded. The priority and urgency of this matter was definitely neglected. It s been 3 weeks. I ve called numerous times. Today I spoke with housekeeping manger Judith and she tells me they ve had the negative results from EcoLab since the 27th. So for 2 weeks they ve been sitting on it. Meanwhile, everyone I ve spoken to seems to be on different pages. I ve heard so many different things it s mind bottling. But as the saying goes you get what you pay for
Rome were cheap online. Bars were closed during our stay. It was hard to find a waitress to get drinks while gambling, but we had a great time. Room was clean, lost one start for hair in the shower and only having one chair in a room with 2 beds. It could be Covid related. View was great. Staff was excellent. Will be returning.
I still love the old casinos. They have restored this place over the years and it s fresh and bright. Love the new shopping experience off on the side street now adds to the fun.
All the rooms are good and very clean. The hotel is located right in the middle of everything or in walking distance to just about everything you want. Fun hotel pretty good customer service.
Well, this is one of the old hotels that started Vegas gambling industry. The room was awesome, my view was to the strip. Service was outstanding. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was very friendly especially the housekeeping and breakfast staff. Hotel is an easy walk access the bridge to the aquarium. ( they have a separate bike lane) so it's pretty safe to walk across. Room was very comfortable. We had a great view of the Queen Mary!
My wife, sisters, and I all got rooms at The Flamingo and had a great experience. We stayed for 4 nights and each of our go rooms with a strip view were clean, in good repair, and the view was awesome! I wouldn't describe this as a luxury hotel but if you want to stay on the strip and are budget conscious, this is the perfect place for you. The pools were nice, decent casino, party atmosphere on the weekends, and only a short walking distance to everything on the strip.
GREAT customer service! GREAT location! The only thing that I didn t like was the room didn t get cool while we was there. You can walk out to the hallways and it would be cooler then the room.
I hate the fact that there were no microwave, no refrigerator, and it always smell like cigarettes the lobby and in some rooms. It was okay but I prefer not to go back.
I certainly couldn't tell that The Flamingo is the oldest operating casino on the strip. The hotel lobby is quite up to date and even during the middle of a weekday there are plenty of open tables.
The staff at the front desk were rude not only to us but others we were in line with upon check in. We were charged a resort fee for internet and the gym which we weren t able to even use. We did not even get to use the pool because of terrible wait times. Our bedding was not clean. We found hairs and fresh stains on our bedding. When going to check out we were told our resort fee of $167 would be taken out of our $200 deposit we paid when we checked in. Which we signed for. When we returned home an additional $167 was charged to our card even after it was pulled from our deposit. When calling to try and explain what had happened they were very rude on the phone and could not provide any explanation or help. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning here.
I just visited the gardens and enjoyed the buffet, which was delicious. Very good food and really nice Flamingos garden with live birds and fish. Very relaxing place to take a refreshing break from the strip. Drop in for a free visit to see the garden. Food at the buffet was good too.
Great price location and buffett. The parking garage barely fit mu truck and the antenna hit every beam. Dog area was small bit there. Great place in the strip. Pools and hot tubs closed for winter. Not sure why you shut down a hot tub.
FANTASTIC. Location, location, location. The Flamingo is located right on the centre of the Strip so it was easy to navigate and convenient to walk. Our newly-renovated room was clean and modern. It was spacious and offered good views of the High Roller. I melted in the bed every night - it was extremely comfortable!
The GO POOL day club experience was very fun and enjoyable.
Got a good deal. Was happy with our strip view. I spoke with others that got a fountain view, and they hardly got any sleep because the night club was so loud next door (50 cent concert). The room was tacky, and barely clean. It was definitely an experience but if I go back I will stay somewhere else.
I like that the hotel is all pink so it has a character of its own. It has real Flamingos and birds inside so that is something you should see. If you are in Vegas always carry a water bottle because they charge exorbitant prices even for a small bottle.
security might want to brush up on new Vegas laws. trying to intimidate and chase around 20 people was cute. being rude to your customers wasn't. especially when we all stayed nice n did as he asked without issue. only time n place I've had an issue in Vegas.
Awful customer service when checking in by Sandra and the manager Jaysen Kurst no better when we asked for assistant. Will NEVER stay at this place again!!
Parking structure was dirty, casino looks worn out, needs major refurbishing. Had a funky smell in the hallways while walking from the parking to the casino. Will not go there again.
Super disappointed. Came with a healthcare incentive. They put us in the oldest most disgusting room. Stained carpet. Tattered furniture. Room looks and smells like a trap house. When we asked about an upgrade that we were willing to pay for they "didn't have anything available".
Great hotel. Off the strip n has monorail stop. Clean n security every where. Lots of food choices n near the action. Pool party had great music m crowd control
I have stayed at the Flamingo twice now. Even being a basic Gold Caesar s rewards member, I get free rooms here all the time. Definitely ask for a complimentary upgrade when checking in, it s worked every time for me. The newly renovated rooms are very nice, and if you can get a room with a view, it s awesome. The location of this hotel can t be beat- you re literally dead center on the strip.
I just ordered room service for the first time today, and it was excellent. It is served in biodegradable to-go packaging, which is nice and doesn t feel like they re trying to be fancier than they are. The shower & bed are great, and I love how shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion are kept in a refillable dispenser on the wall instead of using individual disposables. Small things like this add up to saving a lot of plastic, so 5 stars for being eco friendly.
The casino is not the biggest or nicest you ll find on the strip, obviously, but it has everything you would want to play. The dealers and bartenders are nice.
All in all, the Flamingo is a charming homage to the old Vegas vibe, and the price & location can t be beat.
The flamingo will always be a cold place on the strip! They have the best party pool on the strip. I think it is time for them 2 update the casino pint. It needs to be more inviting when you enter.
The Flamingo has become a second home when I'm in Vegas. Could not ask for better placement for stepping out for a night out on the strip. Great price for larger rooms.
One of my favorite places to stop on the Strip. Not only is it one of Las Vegas' oldest hotels, it also has one of the prettiest free attractions. Their Wildlife Habitat is a beautiful place to stop and enjoy being outside, or just to pass through while on the property.
What a wonderful place to stay . Casino is extremely big but not to huge. Beautiful room's, and very clean. Wonderful staff lots to do and great location. Walking distance to just about anything and everything. I would highly recommend this place. Definitely 5 stars.
The Flamingo Hotel is perfectly placed on the strip, right in the middle of everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had we not travelled during the pandemic, I feel like the hotel amenities would have been better. The hotel buffet and spa were closed, and the pool reservation system was very poorly executed. You have to text to be put on a reservation list and wait your turn to be called/texted (our text never came, so don t waist your time). The Flamingo tower is the tower to stay in if you want to be comfortable and free of any smells of drugs. We had one night in the Go-tower and asked to change the next day because our whole hallway and even the elevators reeked of weed. Common misconception that it s legal to smoke in common areas (it s not). Overall the city is semi-trashy. Don t know if we will be back.
Been there for many times. Not the newest hotel on the strip but the last one with a little bit charm. Very friendly people, nice pool area, good food court, perfect position in the strip
The lights are really nice but during the day the place looks really run down where they keep the flamingos really could use a cleaning. Love the Buddhist Tasha rub the belly for luck.
Hotel rooms were dated. Smoke free rooms still had very dominant smell. Walls are very thin. Loud patrons in hall kept us up all night. Would not stay again
Staff and accommodations were great. Enjoyed the roulette table dealers as well. The food court was good, but like most of the eateries in Vegas, a bit spendy. $17.28 for two pizza slices.
What a classic piece of Las Vegas history. I haven't been to the Flamingo in years so I was pleasantly surprised to see the incredible amount of renovation they did to the hotel. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with bright decor and clean bathrooms. We came specifically for my son's wedding at the Flamingo, and it was wonderful. Great staff. They're definitely keeping the Flamingo alive and well in Vegas.
The casino is nice and have all the normal amenities of your average casino. The Poker room is very small but the staff manage it in a very professional manner. The lighting is good, the cocktail server was extremely attentive, and dealers friendly! The only experience that kept me from giving Five Stars was limited restaurant selection and early closing of the few places to eat inside. The Buffet is Two Stars by itself....
They make you pay a resort fee but I was unable to use the pool.....I was there Tuesday-Sunday. They make you text for a reservation but we were never called back for a pot. We were in LINC pool more the Flamingo
The games have been fair. There are many games to choose from. The rooms are nice and clean. The shopping and food options are on point. I've had a real fun time here. Seeing the flamingos and other birds was a pleasant surprise. I recommend coming to the flamingo.
I can't believe how incredible the security team was getting me and my family to our room after the Journey concert. They were cautious and careful with my wheelchair and I felt safe. Thank you!
Very busy and popular hotel/casino. The rooms are ok. No coffee makers and no frills. Paying to park in the garage is a detractor, and the resort fees are shameful.
Had a wonderful stay at the flamingo. Was very impressed with the check in kiosk. Had a newly renovated Room. Staff were kind and friendly. Ate at the Mexican restaurant, while the salsa was good the rest of the meal was not as amazing.
Amazing place that I saw as a hotel, that was my first visit to LA since I lived in DC, which is amazing and entertaining 3555 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Good place of you're getting a deal on the room rate. In the middle of the strip, so anything g you want to do is walking distance. The whole thing could use some work modernizing, but that can be expected at this point.
The room was very nice, not happy that there is no bathtub and only a shower but it was a nice shower. Updated rooms and nice view of the strip. Excellent location on the strip. Very cool flamingo viewing area with parrots, ducks, turtles, pelicans and fish!
Not super impressed. Keep your expectations low. It's a place to sleep, and apparently party all night. The lobby was pretty, but smelled like cheap perfume. The room was ok, had a nice view, but it was really rough around the edges. Peeling paint, thin walls, old caulk in the bathroom, cheap materials... It looked like it used to be really nice. And that was an "upgrade" from the basic rooms. Our neighbors were extremely loud, it was like trying to sleep next to a night club.
I guess I expected a bit more quality from a hotel on the Vegas strip, but I've also never been to Vegas before, so I didn't know what to expect exactly. Now I know.
The rooms were very clean and the windows were illuminated by soft pink light. They provided shampoo, body soap, and lotion! Downstairs is a plethora of sights and sounds. You can walk through the casino to the alley between the Lynx to go on the huge ferris wheel, the High Roller, or eat at Gordon Ramsey's Fish and Chips!
Great location. The garden is beatiful with many different birds and ducks. Food Court is nice and price is reasonable. The only down side is the room. Hotel room looks a bit old. Bed is comfortable though.
Very helpful, nice staff. Rooms clean and comfortable beds. Low resort fees. Didn't have all the bells and whistles, but you get what you pay for. I would recommend this hotel.
Visited again at the Marathon weekend. Two years ago I stayed here with my Lhasa Apso. She was too old to leave at home and she loved walking the inner walks by the coy ponds every day. The rooms were pretty good here and we enjoyed the stay. Free parking was also huge. Accepting our pup made me love then forever. We still use some of the doggie gifts with our new pup.
This was a very fun place to visit. It is very well kept. It does not smell quite as much like smoke as the other hotels do. The flamingo habitat is very cool. There are plenty of options for gaming. The staff was along very friendly.
