Flamingo Las Vegas gets 5 stars from me!
The location is right in the centre of all the Las Vegas excitement, rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The gardens are a spectacle to see-absolutely beautiful! The swimming pool is a fun spot to keep cool with music, entertainment, and friendly food and beverage service. Two showrooms on site and a lively casino. .The resteraunts, food court and buffet (so, so much to choose from!),were exceptional. On site spa, and gym were inviting-staff were so accommodating. Hotel shops had a vast variety of souvenir and personal gift selections.

We booked a week at this hotel, check in isn't until 4pm, we flew in to Las Vegas & arrived pretty early. Had to sit around a bit while we waited for check in. They offer early check in, but they'll charge you $30 for it only if they call you before 12:30. We actually did end up checking in early as we were tired, they ended up upgrading us to one of the newer rooms with a view of the Flamingo garden for an extra $20/ night which was worth it. Casino area is extremely permeated by cigarette smoke, you can't even breathe in there, it smelled so bad. We tried the buffet, food was old & no real theme so couldn't make a complete meal. We actually had coffee & a breakfast croissant sandwich in the Cafe to go express as it was conveniently on the 1st floor. But service here was horrible, the cashiers were not nice, they rushed us through our order & then when the next customer came up they were all smiles. Guess they don't like people of color. SMH. They also charge a resort fee of $38/ night supposedly for gym access or who knows what exactly even though I never even saw a gym anywhere. Not sure what the purpose of that was or why you can't opt out of it, crazy because there's nothing extra you get out of that. Wouldn't book here again.

I love the Flamingo's location and the vibe in the casino! I like the rooms too. I stayed a couple of times and one room had a fridge but another room did not. I recommend the room with the fridge.

Beds were nice, but couldn't sleep. The bathroom was decent. There was visible dust in the bathroom drawers. The shower curtain didn't have a proper weights so it would cling on to the person while they showered.

Strip View was beautiful...newly remodeled rooms were nice....Flamingo habitat always a cool sight to check out....location is great....check in wasn't as backed up as it usually is....always go for check in kiosks....food court/pizza/sandwhich stands are good for when you get hungry....Margaritaville always has really good food/drinks....walls are a little thin and lot of young people stayed there in groups....lots of young people renting motorized carts meant for old people etc...charging them in the hallways....

Only reason to stay here is for the location of the strip being in the middle. Do not stay in anything less then there GO Room, everything else is old and falling apart yes its cheap but I only stayed cause it was free for me and I will not be back, its a motel 6 with games and wildlife

We had a wonderful time here for 5 nights. Easily our best vegas trip yet and will definitely be back next year. The go pool was so much fun, we will plan to spend more days there. The location can't be beat, so close to bellagio, Caesars and mirage. We had a great strip view on the 21st floor. Room was nice and clean but not one of the newly renovated. It did not matter as the older style rooms are still nice.

As far as the room goes, it was fine. Beds were comfortable, sheets, pillows, and blankets were clean. The shower had very poor water pressure, and our "no smoking " hotel reeked of pot and cigarette smoke 24/7.

10/10 will be back no doubt. Vegas is amazing. All the STUFF to see and do is endless. The people are great. The casinos are incredible. Get drunk, smoke some weed, relax, gamble and enjoy yourself. It's a party and everyone is invited. Loved this trip so much.

We only walked the grounds but discovered the flamingo habitat and koi ponds in the back. Well worth the walk if you're in the area. A photo of the water falls is attached. This is the same area as the zip lines and the giant observation wheel (Ferris wheel).

Flamingo is centrally located on the strip. Last of the original Vegas hotels standing it offer great value, good player rewards, decent rooms, pool, and plenty of gaming action. Wide range of Restaurant choices; incl. Awesome Buffet. Sit and enjoy Bugsy's bar or show always fun action happening at The Flamingo!

It would have been amazing had it not been so crowded and the lack of parking almost ruined it for me. They really need to fix the parking situation!!! Because I won't be back if I can't find parking.

The flamingo is located in a perfect spot because of the linq. There was tons to do and see. The hotel itself was on the run down side compared to the other casinos in the area but really was not to bad. We really did not like being harassed by the rewards people who obviously worked on commission and had to deal with them every time we passed (it got really annoying after the fifth it sixth time) if it wasn't for the location I would give 3 stars but with all the shops and restaurants right there I have to give them 4

The staff is friendly as ever. The vibe and energy cross me, passing valet of course. There is a minimal fee. Pay it!! The Casino floor will remind any person of the older style. I loved it every time. I was just here not too long ago and the pool is alive. Very much so alive. Five stars from me.

I have stayed here a couple of times since covid hit. This last visit was a bad experience that I don't think I will return to this casino. Poor customer service, woman at front desk during check in was rude, vallet rude, over charged, smell of pot all over hotel even in our room!! Visted other casino and the pot smell was not as bad. Would not recommend.

The place is expensive, and probably not worth the money. Be aware that they require a 50$ deposit per night and European cards are not accepted (so you have to go to their atm, which has a 10$ fee). Parking is not included.
The rooms are clean though, even if not worth the price.
The casino is nice and well kept, and you feel safe even at nighttime.
The position is awesome.

Our friends couldn t even watch us play
People either have to be constantly walking, playing, or they had to leave. To add insult to injury they were rude.

Very good restaurant buffet. We can see real pink flamingo birds, while eating our food. Also, we can see a duck and fishes. The buffet line is long but worth the wait. A groupon for the buffet is my recommendation instead of paying the whole price.

Horrible check-in experience. Took almost an hour to check-in. Self check-in is horrible too. Half of the self check-in machine does not work. The two girls at the self check-in were getting pulled left and right by people frustrated with the machine. I hope they are getting paid enough. After spending 5 hours driving then have to spend almost another hour at this hotel in line to check-in is unacceptable.

Cons: Bad service: Their on-text personal information assistant gives misguiding information. Didn't get the room I had paid for. No option for late check-out. Looks and feels very outdated. Lack of good eating options inside the hotel.
Pros: Animals in the open (not-so-much) zoo. Room and bathroom were clean. On phone checkout was helpful.

I've been to Vegas many times, this was my first time staying at the Flamingo. It was the worst experience I've had in Vegas. First, we're in the middle of a pandemic and supposed to social distance the best we can. The Flamingo makes everyone wait until 4pm to check in at the same time. So you have hundreds of people crowded together trying to check in. When they could easily allow people to check in as they arrive if rooms are available. Second: they charge a pretty high resort fee, but they do not allow you to use the resort. I was unable to use any resort amenities during my stay because "social distancing" limitations which at the flamingo is only important if you want to go to the pool. They are fine with making people huddle in large crowds to check in. Be prepared to be treated poorly and have nothing to do if you choose to go here

Room service never showed up
Shower leaked over bathroom had to use towels. When we requested towels it took a day to recieve them.
Manager was unhelpful amd unhappy when we complained and asked for towels.
Would not recommend

The refrigerator didn't work but we quickly got it replaced. Staff are welcoming and helpful at the guest registration desk. Maintenance guy was very and quick to replace our fridge. Nice view... Only thing is the long walk from parking to guest registration.. it's a mission on its own

Excellent place! Would def stay there again in a heartbeat! The room I had was absolutely stunning! Service excellent. Food outlets, entertainment, shops, bars, all there in abundance & conveniently situated. Gardens so well kept & stunning! xx

The hotel is simply showing its age which is, in itself, forgiveable. The slots seemed overly tight, cocktail hosts too hard to find, and the prices of any incidentals beyond exorbitant. Add to that a rowdy group of 20-somethings on both sides of us for 3 nights - I never got more than 4 hours of sleep. Would not go back - thats for sure.

The flamingo exhibit is weird but hotel with reasonable room prices. Casino and amenities are clean enough. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Most rooms have a good view of the Vegas landscape. Would stay here again in the future. Excellent location on the strip for easy access to everything Las Vegas

Their parking garage is infuriating. It s one way the whole way, and only wide enough for one car, yet people will drive whatever direction they want. Also, it s multiple miles from entrance to exit and you have to go the whole way through.

The rooms have been renovated so they are clean and modern, electronic check in works very well really speeds up the check in process. The casino area is dated. I would stay here again. Location is excellent!!!!

Had an amazing time, the rooms were well maintained and beautifully designed . The decor and flamingo area were also well maintained. I have nothing negative to say about my stay here. If you're looking for a great place to stay on the strip that's relatively inexpensive, definitely look into staying at the Flamingo!

It's one of the older locations. The design reminds me of a 70's hippie. I was in a nice size one bedroom suit. I never received my bath towels. The hotel is all inclusive meaning you can eat, drink, gamble and watch a show without leaving the property. Make sure you visit the flamingos!

Back the we lived in Vegas, we loved visiting the flamingoes! And we loved that this hotel is right next to the Linq Promenade. So this was one of our usual stops.

So on our recent visit, we figured staying here would be fun! And it was! It's the perfect location on the strip in that it's pretty centrally located.

Our check in process was easy since military get to stand in the premier access line.

Our room was great! I've read that one half of the building as been updated and one hasn't. We were on the updated side and loved it. The room was clean, stylish and comfortable. We had no problems on any kind during our visit and we would happily stay again!

At first glance, the Flamingo seems like an awesome stay. Historical printed images on bathroom doors, new entertainment attractions and actual animals you can look at. The problem with this hotel is much, like many of its neighboring competitors, is its expensive. From $16 packs of cigarettes to $10 bags of chips, this hotel has a high price tag on everything. BUT the main problem, with a hotel this historic, is there's not enough embrace of that theme. They need to play off of that 'flamingo' theme better. There's only a few small animals in an even smaller area. There's only a couple of places on the wall in the lobby and printed. Basically an outdated hotel disguised and something renovated. Best thing about our stay, was being on the 26th floor with a good view of the strip..

I stayed here for 5 nights AND LOVED IT! It may look older in comparison to others on the Strip, but the Flamingo is alive and well! I absolutely loved it and all the character that came with this Retro Chic hotel

Not bad. Wifi and concierge is atrocious (hung up after being on hold for 5+ minutes). Beds are nice. TV connection has poor quality (but that's not what you're staying here for). Air conditioner sounds like a chainsaw.

This was my first time to Vegas and it was a great time. Me and my friend picked the Flamingo because it had a good price. Everything was great but I didn't like the fact that there was not complimentary coffee in the room. I enjoy having a cup of coffee and relaxing before I have to really see the world.

The beds were ok. The first night I woke up and was sore. It could of been the pillow. The pillows seemed to be really soft or really firm, it didn't seem like there was a medium pillow.

The resort is nice. The pool was ok. They did not have enough chairs for guest but they had enough lounge chairs where you had to pay. We inquired about the price and it was very expensive. There was only me and my one girlfriend and just to rent the chase was 180 and THAN you had to spend 100 on food. I know Vegas is expensive and its all about all the extra but that was just too much to sit in a chair for a few hours.

I loved the habitat they had for the animals. It was nice to walk around there and see all the different animals. The smoking in the area was the only downfall for that part.

my favorite hotel I personaly would give this hotel a 5 star because it is in a great location and near every thing right on the las vegas strip and has some history about the hotel it was built in 1946 and founded by Benjamin Bugsy Siegel and is on of the oldest hotle or oldest hotel in las vegas and had some well known singers and songwritres like donny&marie and celine dion and many more and offers a big nice casino. and comes with a nice bedroom and has a nice big pool and this hotel is clean safe and convenient and is a nice bright hotel and has a nice old 70s look!

:)

Dirty and rundown. The "shops" look like a closed mall that reopened as a flea market. Outside is very deceiving because once you get inside it's all downhill from there. They even offer day passes at the pool so just about anybody can come in.

Do visit the Wildlife Habitat inside the Flamingo Casino - enjoy some quiet time with Ms. Nasty - a beautiful swan; flamingos of course; some hefty sized sturgeons. A number of beautiful parts and lots of other birds! Great place.

Great location on the strip - love the outdoor flamingo area and the buffet. Pool is nice but very loud with the entertainers. Maybe just my preference to R and R by the pool. There s a 21+ pool and an all ages one. I d suggest a slide if trying to appeal to families. Pool chairs need to be updated to something without an uncomfortable bar at your tailbone.

Room was nice, well our second room was. We booked a non-smoking king room and at check in, we got 2 queens smoking. We def don t like sleeping in smoke. They stated that rooms are not guaranteed with reservations. They did let us move the next morning tho, and gave us a $25 food credit that we used at the buffet. The bed super comfy. Shower had jets on the sides which was great. Rug in room filthy. Lights falling off wall and bulbs burnt out. IMO, the hotel seems to be overall in need of cleaning, paint and repair. But a cool piece of history and location can t be beat. I d stay here again for the value.

Great location on the strip. Hotel is big but not so big it takes forever to get to your room or get out to the strip. The flamingo Go Pool is a great party pool without being pretentious like some other day pool clubs.
