ASFA conference. Nice accommodations in a convenient location. Many amenities onsite. Meals provided during the conference were very good. The meeting rooms are perfect for large group A/V presentations, and Hilton staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very nice and historic. The staff isn't up to par. The maid came in twice without knocking the next morning. The first time it was at 8:15 on a Saturday. It does have great views.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful architecture. The ballroom is amazing and great facilities on the ground floor with restaurants and a few shops. The rooms are plain but very clean and tidy. Beds are great with quality linen.
Why 3 stars? I just didn't receive the service I usually do from Hilton. Even the other Hilton chains I've stayed with gave better, more welcoming, service. Wanted to end our holiday with 'a bang ' by staying at THE Hilton Chicago. A little bit disappointed after saving up and looking forward to it.

The room I got was fine, albeit a bit small. The Wifi signal was not strong enough to connect. I had to unplug the kiosk's monitor they put in the room because it would emit light even if the screen was "off" (it only dimmed). This kiosk also takes up the majority of desk space that I would find important if I needed to use my laptop. Perhaps update it with a wall mounted kiosk? And allow the screen to be completely turned off.

The bathroom was fine, though the shower head could be a bit higher (I'm 6'4").

We checked in this afternoon. Our view has the lake if you look to the right and ignore the room you can see into. The queen beds are full but the front desk tells me that the Hilton queen is that small so not sure what the full rooms are. Basically you pay extra for deceptive marketing. If a lake view and a queen bed makes this hotel attractive please don t stay here. You will be disappointed.

Decent hotel but be aware of abnormally warm weather for the season. I stayed for 2 nights in the beginning of march where the temperature was higher then normal. My room temperature got up to 76 degrees . When I contacted the front desk I was told the AC was off in the building, and they only thing they could do is offer me a fan for the night. Made for a very uncomfortable stay.

I played at a wedding today and found this entire hotel to be a fantastic setting of grandeur and it was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Staff is great to interact wihh and will help one with ANY and every issue that may come up in or outside of the hotel. From valet parking to a courteous efficient front desk staff, getting situated is a smoothly flowing process. There will always be someone to help you and lead you in the right direction.
If you ever plan to have a wedding this ballroom is a great location to do so. It can seat up to 500 and there is enough space for a dance floor. And when the wedding is complete you can move your party across the street to Millennium Park!

The room was not big but it was fine.
The breakfast was nice.
Even if it is central, it is still quiet.
The service was very good.

The good qualities of this hotel stop at the beautiful lobby. Rooms are small and outdated with little natural light. I was traveling for work, although not a business suit type of job. The employees made it very clear they did not want us there from check-in to check-out. We were consistently treated rudely, ignored by staff, and talked down to. I ve had better stays at roadside motels.

Wonderfully historic hotel with great amenities. The finishes are wonderful and the rooms are will furnished. My only complaint is that the fitness center charges $15 per day to use the exercise equipment.

Do not believe Google reviews. Dusty super stuffy floor!!! They put us in a box(literally the room is just a small box!!!!) so that it was hard to breathe nothing but started coughing. We ended up getting out of the hotel at 11 pm with our kids. Besides, they even charged a full night plus parking fee(we checked in almost at 7 pm). The front desk justified himself mentioning prepaid (Never heard of it after experiencing so many hotels) so they need to charge for their incredibly awful room condition. Plus No managers around. Never expected this low quality customer service by the name Hilton!

The hotel was well kept and had all the amenities. This hotel texts you for feedback and to resolve questions and issues, which I felt was very appropriate and well thought out. Spacious and comfortable, would recommend!

I have stayed at Marriott's around the world. This was my first Hilton stay and my last. We rented a total of three rooms.
Arrived to find a room service tray outside our door with old food. Two days later it was still there!!
There were little things too like no coffee cups of any kind in our room, but a coffee maker sure.
Parking is subcontracted so no one wants to take responsibility if there is an issue.
The luggage room is also subcontracted and cost $3 per bag! never in the cheapest dives I stayed in as an oilfield engineer have I seen that!
To top it off the staff was pushing there membership on us every time we spoke to reception.
Great location, and an adults only hot tub were the only highlights.

Hilton staff fresh off strike and glum. Understaffed, demotivated. Parking prices are borderline robbery, and validation is hit or miss. They have tweaked their Bears game day brunch in the wrong direction - less choice, expensive. Still, a nice place to meet up, eat and then a nice walk to Soldier Field. Hoping they get their feet back under them soon.

Upon check-in, you may find a dirty bathtub and trash left in the mini fridge. But you ll also find the most enthusiastic and LOUD line of strikers blowing whistles and beating drums all day long. So that s something. Have fun pushing your way through this bunch every time you want to walk outside. Great location near the park, but Hilton Chicago rests on its storied past instead of providing a good experience for present customers. Conference facility is dated, and in-room dining is unapologetically closed during peak dining hours. The walls are paper thin - I can hear everything my neighbors say (and do). I ve stayed at the Hotel Chicago for many conferences. Next time, I will forego the convenience of staying in the conference hotel and pick another hotel that offers a less frustrating customer experience.

Good

Thanks
