Hilton Carson/Doubletree Review

Great staff. Restraunt was pretty good and they were very pet friendly.

Great place for food and drinks. Rooms were comfy .

The staff is really nice! The hotel seems older, but it is clean and well kept.

I have stayed here a couple times for work. Everything seems up to par to me.

Worst hilton we've ever experienced. We had to check out after one night and change hotels. They were allowing a biker group/gang staying at the hotel to drink alcohol in the parking lot, play loud music, rev motorcycles and get extremely rowdy until well past 2am. There was no hotel employee at the front desk during this time at all to complain to either. When we called the front desk in the morning, the staff was so unhelpful and refused to refund our reservation or change our room, saying there was no manager on site at the hotel at the time to help us with our issue. We had to call hilton corporate to complain. Hilton Corporate was appalled and tried to call this property directly about the problem, but kept getting hung up on by the individuals working at the front desk. Our shower in our bathroom also was so poorly maintained that the showerhead only pointed outwards and flooded the entire floor of the bathroom even if you used it for five minutes. There was actually trash laying all over the floor on the third floor near the elevators still at 1030 am- no employee from the hotel had bothered to pick it up. I don't know what kind of person is running this hotel, but it's not even close to what you would expect from a hilton property. Dont stay here!

Breakfast was very good, rooms were typical hotel rooms but still meaning they were clean and comfortable to stay in

I needed to do business in the LA area and this is the hotel I chose. Unfortunately, my client wasn't ready, so after spending one night, I told the hotel I needed to check out early. They wanted to charge me $50 for checking out early.

Maybe this is common in southern California but it is rude and not common anywhere else. I have spent hundreds of nights in Hampton Inns and never was penalized for checking out early.

This is my second bad encounter with a Doubletree hotel. Something must be wrong with their management.

Was there for a workshop that provided breakfast and lunch and both were great.

Very nice modern hotel with more than enough amenities. Only complaint is the neighborhood can be a bit sketchy

This is one of the nicest DoubleTrees I have ever stayed in, the outside and inside decor and landscaping are amazing. Also, it is located in the nice, up-and-coming part of Carson. Across the street are 5 separate shopping centers that have every retail and commercial spot leased. The construction of new propertys around the hotel are beautiful, modern and upscale. I would recommend that you stay a night at this hotel.

Okay. Don't let the website photos fool you. This hotel is very dated. But staff is nice and room so far is clean.

Need to be South LA County this is a great place to stay with easy access to freeways.

The housekeepers were great. They did an amazing job cleaning the room.

Clean room, nice beds. Quite. Area looks rough, but accommodations were great.

My husband was on a business trip and he asked me to join him for dinner and my salmon dinner was excellent!! Rooms were beautiful and very spacious and clean!!

Nice place to stay but very expensive, rooms and restaurant. If it s not included with your room, breakfast is $17. While I was staying there a large group was having a party at the restaurant. Out of control. loud, obnoxious gathering of people. Shouldn t be done in the restaurant. Maybe in a conference room. Myself and another guest left before we ordered because of the noise and actions of this group. It was like a zoo.

Great hotel. Only problem was that the conference room was extremely cold

Fantastic all around. Had a regular room on the fourth floor the first night, amenities in the morning, the AC worked great.. next night was a suite on the 8th floor. Spacious, nice bed, closet space, and balcony.
Would recommend and stay again!

Clean and fairly quiet location with a nice conference room just off of the main lobby. WiFi access and sounds were good.

Drinks and double tree cookies!?! You can't beat that. Relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff.

Nice hotel in the area for business travel. Plenty of parking.

The gentleman at the front was not very helpful and he was not kind.

We were greeted with warm cookies and friendly smiles. Very clean hotel with a friendly staff. We were looking forward to a relaxing day by the pool but it was PACKED with children. Settled for jacuzzi but there were kids in there too. Suspect a birthday party. Oh, and the phone in the room didn't work. Overall it was an okay time.

Stayed here 3 times each time 4 days straight. Very nice room service, clean and friendly. Room and toilet spacious.

The rooms are too expensive and there's nothing exciting one night with tax is 179 to much money and I also was not able to find the TV remote control!

It was a beautiful establishment the room my grandfather party was held in was nice. The outside by the pool was an amazing setting. Servers was horrible, rude and snappy ugh! Besides that I loved it.

Very nice clean place for quick bathroom stop or having a good cup of coffee. Staff are very friendly

If anyone out there is searching for deals for hotel rooms head to . reserved a resort on there and these guys had the lowest rates any where!

I had a great time here,!! Room had a fridge and safe. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've sleep in for years. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but it was open for use. I had a great rate and given the chance to be a guest here again I would absolutely go back. No complaints only compliments from me.

Friendly staff, rooms are in good shape, halls are really in need of some replacement. Carpets are dark where the main traffic is.

Went for a work related event. The food was great and the people were friendly.

Room and hotel were great. The only downside at all was the highway noise. Still, a great deal.

Great spot for Chargers games. Good pub and shuttle to and from game. Pool area is nice and rooms spacious.

I checked in at night. Firstly the telephone in my room wasn't working, secondly the coffee brewing machine was dirty and thirdly, the steam iron had dirty water which spoilt my trouser.
I spoke with the reception but they were not forthcoming.

Our company has used this venue for district meetings and I have been pleased with their services. The staff is professional and attentive.

I visited the Double Tree on Saturday for a 70th birthday party and it was outstanding and the good was excellent.

As a hotel it is very rich, since the rooms are very comfortable and the hotel has a very good buffet breakfast included and additionally has a restaurant / bar. On the other hand the pool and gym sector of this hotel are also of great quality.

The only thing I can say negative about the hotel is that in the sector where it is located there are not many things nearby to go out to eat or buy. However, the hotel has a shuttle service that leads to a small shopping center.

nice hotel but ... It seems as though this hotel is catering to people a lot taller than I am. I am 5 ft 3 in (not particularly short) but I have to hop to get up on the bed; the commode is a higher handicap one; and the worst thing of all is the bath tub. The edge of the tub is high and difficult to get in. Once done with the shower, there is no grab bar on the wall outside the tub. I put my foot down and my toes were two inches off the floor. I am lucky I didn't fall!

I was there for a meeting in one of the Congress rooms. hotel was looked very clean inside and out. conference was furnished with a nice table and chairs

Really liked that they had free parking. Rooms were clean staff was great. No laundry facility. Only 20-30 mins away from beaches depending on traffic. Great place to stay.

Nice hotel. Great staff. Not much special about the views, but plenty of places to go nearby.

Service is very nice and have attended multiple business social events here.

The Staff was a little above average, the facility was very clean and above average, the food was average.

Stay here frequently when in town on business from Atlanta. 10 minutes from my destination.. Convenient, clean, warm cookies, comfy bed and professional staff. Recommend you try it for yourself. Reviews are just opinions...Be blessed

No microwave, no free breakfast for almost $200 a night!Ugh!

Very nice hotel in Carson, CA. The room was comfortable and spacious. I was impressed that they had an entire Hilton Honors floor. The staff has been very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was a fairly standard buffet.

As always, clean, comfortable with an unbelievably professional staff. THANK YOU!

The rooms for the handicapped people are okay but the beds are too high they should actually make the beds the level to the wheelchair seat not the wheelchair armrest
