Hilton Carson/Doubletree Review

I just went to the bar for a drink and I ordered the Kobe burger. It was decent, however, I think that there are different cooks for sometimes the burgers can taste better. It was not as good as other times that I have had it.

After my family and I went through a horrible experience at a different hotel chain, I contacted this hotel to check for last minute availability. I spoke with Andrea and she was not only extremely helpful but professional and very understanding to our situation at the time. This hotel did not have any availability, but Andrea went beyond our expectations and found a Hilton in the area. We are extremely grateful for all of her help and efforts in finding us a hotel last minute. Andrea made it possible for my family to still enjoy our out-of-state vacation that we had planned for. Thank you again Andrea for your exceptional customer service!!!

Less than stellar experience here. First, there were several busses in the check in parking when I arrived which I parked behind so I could go in and get checked in. When I returned to my car the buses had moved but the hired security lady asked if they was my car. I explained it was and that I had to park behind busses to get checked in. She said, "that's still a no no." In a rather derogatory tone. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds but at first had a room with a king then had to be switched to a different room. It was the night before New year's and several of the rooms around mine had very loud Tennants that stayed up taking and laughing loudly until after four. Then at seven they were being loud again with their room doors open. After I finally called the front desk, it took the hotel about thirty minutes to send someone to ask them to quiet down. Other than those issues, the rest of the stay was just fine.

Room was clean, if a little dated. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

You get the Hilton quality at Hampton prices! There's some really good small local places to eat close by.

Not bad, but could use a refresh to modernize and brighten.

Good service, unfortunately they are fixing the highway on the hotel side.

We had a big conferencedinner at the double tree Hotel. The service was quick and friendly and food was in large portions. We got a nice little private conference room and I highly recommend it for business meetings. They could use more vegan options but overall food was great!! Will definitely be back.

I am a flight attendant with American Airlines and we had to stay at another hotel for August. I must say that I truly missed staying at the Doubletree in Carson because of the staff. The front desk staff that I have enjoyed seeing each time I stayed over at this hotel--Christine, Jarwin, Delina, Nikki, Maria (only names I can remember) have made my arrival so pleasant. I'm sorry if I forget to mention other staff. The rooms are so clean an comfortable. And the gym is the best. I am so happy that we are back at the Doubletree for September. It is a great hotel experience because of the great employees!!
